My visit was a good experience. The cashier was in high spirits, very helpful and courteous. I don't remember the name of my order but it was a part of a list of drinks to try. It was mint and chocolate. It was okay, just not my taste. One thing to add, it is freezing inside the store- WAY too cold.

Starbucks Jamaica follows the standards of the brand around the world, with a service of excellence and high quality of its products. However, the prices are always higher than similar cafes. The design and the comfort space combined to wonderful smells that emerges from the drinks are a blessing. This shop closes at 7:00 PM and it’s frustrating because this is the time I go out for the coffee.

Pretty much the hub for getting the famous starbucks coffee. Expect a full house of Saturday where you can sip on a cup of coffee with your name on it, while you hammer away at your remote work assignments. Wifi, plugs, merchandise and what you've come to expect from the brand is all there.

Very relaxing environment, coffee is out of this world amazing. Its my second time visiting and they got the name wrong again but the service otherwise is still great. Oh and wifi is also available.

I visited this Starbucks location with great expectations and I have not been disappointed (with the food). I've visited many Starbucks locations across many cities in the US and have come to expect a certain level of service from the chain, including the quality of menu offerings, the correctness of orders and the correcting of orders (if not done properly), and friendly staff and atmosphere. All of these hallmarks of the Starbucks experience I have experienced in the Liguanea, Kingston location with the added joy of it being in Jamaica. I got to the location on the 23rd only to be disappointed by the early closure of the store. I, however, returned on the 25th to an open and very busy Starbucks. They say that you can know how good a business is by observing how well they do on a busy day. I placed my custom Starbucks order partially because I really wanted the drink and partially to test the ability of the staff both to take the correct order as well as to make the correct drink. There was one missing ingredient which was easily added when I asked. The other drink order was a standard order and was perfect. The staff was very pleasant and orders were completed quickly, especially considering that during the two hours I stayed, there was never a break in the flow of customers. My only complaint on day one was that I, and many others, could not connect to the WiFi. The size of the store and the number of available USB and electrical outlets as well as the placements (under the seat, under the long work table, and against the walls) can make this location a perfect spot to enjoy a drink and get some work done. Space is also the advantage Starbucks Liguanea has over some of our local coffee shops. I was also pleasantly surprised by the prices. I had expected that as an American company in Jamaica, the menu prices would have been higher, I'm not saying Starbucks is cheap but the prices are comparable to other similar coffee shops in Kingston. I was surprised that I haven't seen a security guard at the door and maybe that's trying to keep with the feel of Starbucks international/US but that does leave the store open to solicitations and potentially disturbing your customers. I experienced that twice in one day and it's possible that such an occurrence will stop without the need for a guard. The biggest problem is the WiFi. A Starbucks coffee shop is not a Starbucks coffee shop without WiFi. On my second visit, I was able to connect to the WiFi but many people were unable to, and despite being connected there were moments when the connectivity dropped usually when there were more customers. In my humble opinion, without proper WiFi, Starbucks will have a difficult time competing with our established coffee shops. I look forward to Starbucks launching the rewards card for Jamaica and (hopefully) the ability to use a Jamaican Starbucks card in other international locations and vice versa.

Clean and spacious. Very pleasant and helpful staff that you would expect from Starbucks. Service was fast and both hot and cold beverages were good. The packaged salads are not worth it

The ladies who work the register (Particularly the one with thick, large glasses) are generally unpleasant and have an attitude like if you're bothering them. The young men working there are always polite and timely, and they get the orders correct- great service. The quality of service heavily depends on who happens to be working at the time and is very inconsistent.

Everytime I come to this Starbucks my order gets messed up. I ordered matcha with honey and after paying I’m told that they don’t have honey. The cashier didn’t want to cash my refund and was avoiding me. I also ordered a cheese danish and it was stale. Very disappointed.
