Honestly this visit has restored my faith in Whataburger. Visit after visit after visit in other locations I consistently had a disappointing experience, whether it be the service the food or something else. But this one I decided to give it a shot came in Mr. Morgan Alex helped me with my order, we had a good conversation he was a very friendly cool young man. My order came out quick and it came out hot, I don’t think I sat down for more than maybe 3 to 5 minutes before my food was brought to me. Everybody I took had me reminiscing of the days were every order I made tasted delicious. I so badly wanted to order another one, what does $13 price tag in the size of my belly were the only things limiting me from doing so. It is crazy to think that this combo of a honey barbecue chicken strip sandwich has gone up from 8 dollars in 2015 to $13 in 2022. But I got to say I will be back to this location and I will update my experience if it continues to be the same or if it changes

What's not to love about this place?! Food is great, service is polite, and is the only place I've been able to order online for curbside without needing another app to download. You can get directly on the website, choose your order, set a specific time to pickup, enter CC information and done. Show up at your designated time, let them know you're outside and then just go home and enjoy. Perfect everytime.

So I love whataburger. This is the first time to this one. From the start I was greeted warmly. My order was right and even though they were busy my food came out in a reasonable time. I had the chicken tenders and they were fantastic. Their fries for me are some of the best. I am workingvin Kilgore for now so I will be out there again. Great job all the way around!

My dog and I went by a little before 11 this morning to catch breakfast. The girls at the window were super friendly and chit chatty with us. My receipt shows "Olivea" as the cashier. Another blonde girl came out with a dog treat for us. Kudos, to these ladies, for great service. It is much appreciated. Good service seems hard to come by in fast food restaurants. First visit to Kilgore Whataburger. The restaurant was clean and the order takers were so kind and patient! I felt they were invested in the customers. I ordered a Whataburger combo with a large onion ring...didn't have to wait long and food came out fresh. I ate there on a Wednesday at about 12:30. The wait was not long at all. If I am ever in this neck of the woods, I will definitely come back!

Hubby and I are here in Kilgore from Dallas to take care of some private matters. It was around 1 a.m. and we were very hungry. The only place open was Whataburger which was fine. We've never seen a Whataburger like this before. The dining area was rather fancy looking instead of the usual ugly orange plastic booths & tables. The service was great and the food was very fresh. Everything was very clean as well. I wish the folks in Dallas took pride in their Whataburger restaurants like they do here 😃

The food is Whataburger: The national burger of Texas. If you're on I-20 and need something to grab or a stop, this whataburger is your go to. Food is always hot and good. Drive thru takes forever. Longer than it should. Go in for faster service. Employees seem nice every time.

The orange and white stripes seldom disappoint. And this one for local east Texas stands out. If you can go by late afternoon and enjoy the comaradery of the locals old timers then do so. The chit chat overheard goes well with the specialty burgers.

Ordering your meal is pretty good. I actually get it how I ask for it and 99.8% of the time, I get it fresh off the grill (#5). By the way, if you guys haven't tried they're cinnamon rolls, then you really don't know what you're missing...

The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star overall is because of the price. Great food but we can't afford to eat there more often. Of course on this day I was probably visiting the Shell store next to Whataburger.

Like most Whataburgers, it hit or miss. One time great and fresh, Next time over cooked with cold fries. Consistency is key.

I like this whataburger better than others in the area because it is new so I know it is still on the cleaner side for a while. It is nothing extra special when it comes to service or quality- they have "heard us wrong" a few times when we order which is frustrating.

The staff is great but since the sell out, the food quality has been less than desirable and the prices are getting ridiculous. It is cheaper to go to Jucy's Hamburgers and get a much larger burger and side and drink of your choice than it is at Whataburger these days.

Ten minutes for 2 cinnamon rolls? I've watched three cooked meals go out before mine that were placed after my order. After all that waiting, they were barely even warm, which seemed odd, considering how long they were placed in the oven apparatus(?) under the front counter. The two stars goes to the adjacent convenient store. I'd give them four stars if this review wasn't attached to the neighboring Whataburger. They have the most awesome snack selection I've ever seen, including yogurt with a fresh topping buffet! The lady behind the counter was very sweet too. It's always nice to have someone tell you to have a good day and sound like they really mean it.

Best burgers in Texas! Best burgers in the South! Never mind, best fast food burgers period. Fries are amazing, and their breakfast is delicious! Slowest drive thru ever. Ive been through busier and bigger city locations of many restaurants, and nothing compares in regards to slowest as this one does. Didnt realize it took 30-45 minutes (no exaggeration) at a fast food place to serve 5 vehicles on a continuous basis as this small town Whataburger constantly displays

Usually, this is place is a hit or miss on attention to detail. Just make sure what you order is what you actually get. Ordered and paid for a double cheese, but received only a single cheese. Also ordered a vanilla shake, but had to ask for it before I left out. I would advise maybe going earlier in the day versus at night. All in all, this place is usually good, but provided that if they get the order correct.

Food is always good, albeit the burgers are made a bit messy sometimes. Customer service, unfortunately, is a gamble. I've had AMAZING experiences with the most friendly and approachable employees I've ever met, and I've had a few encounters that left me wondering where all the hatred is coming from. Overall they still have my business, and Kim is a sweetheart!

Staff are nice, but there is a shortage of workers, so they can barely keep up with the volume. This business is not reflected in the app, so you can set a mobile order to be ready in 10 mins, but it will take much longer (haven't waited longer than 40mins but still...)

First I want to say they have freshest fast food I've ever eaten. But that can't be enough for me to continue giving my money and support to a restaurant owned by DKT ( Dole and Karen's Company) and not the actual Whataburger corporation. They hire between very inexperienced and experienced individuals. That's not bad for a starter job but it's bad when you give credit to the lazy ones over the hard workers and wonder why you have such a high turnover for employees. you offer your employees very little breaks as well as not enough compensation for them working as hard as they do you got rid of some of my favorite employees that I enjoy talking to when I sent over my orders well the owners of DKT living multimillion-dollar houses that you're not willing to pay your employees barely livable wage including the ones that are in management positions besides the assistant manager and general manager I will miss eating at your establishment but in the end I can no longer support you guys and will only eat at Whataburger that are not owned by DKT.I hope this review actually get seen by a fair amount of people because I wish you the best of luck in understanding why I will no longer be eating at thiswill no longer be eating at this establishmentbest of luck to the management at hope you guys can make the necessary changes so you can become better and more progressive.

Drive through women was very rude and short, they also said there shake machine was down for the night and they don’t make shakes after 9pm. Food was good but took a very long time with very few people in the drive through.

I came here on 08/27/22 pm shift and ordered a Bacon blue cheese burger. I had one request which was regular ranch instead of peppercorn. I got my burger and it was soaked with ranch and looked like slop. Came on 09/03/22 pm shift and had to wait awhile to get someone to take our order. Both times food seems to just be thrown together and the dining area has been dirty. Owner should make surprise visits

LOONNNNGGGGGG wait.... I mobile order at this Whataburger nearly every Sunday about the same time. That time is around 2:00 p.m. so not a super busy lunch rush time. But every single time I place my order it takes them a super long time to get it out to my car for the curbside pick up. I have to call in there every time to make sure that they know that I'm sitting out here waiting. I ordered my food this time 45 minutes in advance and I'm still waiting for it.... 10 minutes after it should have even been ready in the 1st place place. If you need fast food DO NOT come to Whataburger in Henderson because it is never fast.

I live only 5 blocks away from here and i got a shake that was soupy and fries were cold. I got 2 sandwhiches and asked without diced onions and it was like they put extra on. Definitely disappointed. Only saving grace was the. Service

I was surprised to hear employees and manager complaining about customers at the front counter. People just want to enjoy the food and the time to eat it. There needs to be a more consistent policy on condiments. I watched the name walk out comparing with the tray of ketchup. I don't think this is company wide, just the Kilgore restaurant, because I have had better service at other places in Longview.

My coffee was cold and filled so full when I took the lid off to add cream it spilled all over me.. guess it's a good thing the coffee was cold... save yourself, go to Sonic across the street.

As my wife and I were leaving the restaurant, I decided I needed to go to the restroom and wash my hands. As I entered the restroom, I observed the WB manager coming out of a stall. He was texting on his phone and didn’t even stop to wash his hands. I followed him to see what he was going to do and all I could see was him putting his apron back on. He never washed. That is my LAST trip to Whataburger in Kilgore!

This is the worst whataburger ever. How slow can you be. I worked at whataburger in high school and we killed it. Never did someone have to sit in drive through for 30 minutes or more. And it's every time you come here. Complete trash.

I went in to order some items ala carte as I have done a million times. I was told today by the front staff and manager on duty that I could not add lettuce and be charged for it on my justaburger that I would have to order a burger that had lettuce on it. If this simple thing cannot be done what else in that store is not being done right! Guys... I should not have to beg someone to charge me to add lettuce on a freaking burger. They actually let me walk out and go somewhere else to order a meal.

Ok here it goes. I work late nights sometimes. Go in there and have to wait a few mins to get someone to wait on me . Today i went inand ordered a chocolate shake and a large DP. They repeated back to me 3 times and brought me a large DP and a large DP Shake. The DP was good but the shake wasnot wahat i ordered. Then when they did get it right the shake was like water. It was not thick at all. So whataburger in Kilgore u lost my business.

I wish I could give this place zero ratings cause usually service and food are amazing but today which is 8/28/2021 me and finance had a door dash order from there and whataburger got the order completely wrong plus it was like the meat patty wasn't even cooked cuz it was ice cold. So we call up there and the manager said she if we bring the receipt up there she would fix it. And so we Did but once hey up there and let her know that we were who called she tells us that she can't fix it now let me just you know that me and my fiance walked up there I'm the rain and I'm pregnant just for them not do what they said they would do.

Manager on duty morning of 2/22/22, was extremely rude when I, as a uniformed first responder, asked if they offer a discount. Some Whataburgers do, some don't. They didn't immediately offer, so I asked. It offended her that I asked and yes, they do offer it. I shouldn't have to ask and be be berated if it is automatically offered. She was so confrontational and rude. I WILL NOT return to this place.

Your order will be wrong. Period. Very slow. If you have the time go in and make sure it’s down right. I’ve given them 15 chances and they have messed my order up every time. After long wait you expect fresh hot food, but sadly it’s cold. Just heads up if you have other food options I would go there.

The new sausage is horrible. Whataburger was my absolute favorite place to get breakfast. Now I can't even eat the sausage because it has entirely too much sage. I worked all day long then went to this location and paid $25 for my food and none of it was correct at all ordered two dr. Peppers large got a coke and a sprite large meals got medium fry’s ordered a number 1 and a sweet and spicy got two number ones one of which only had ketchup is sad to pay so much just for it to be all wrong would not recommend.

Poor quality. My wife and I went through the drive thru via mobile order, and they messed up both of our orders and my wife’s cup had a hole in the side, we didn’t notice the hole until we had gotten to where we were going and the cup holder was full of Dr Pepper. We went into the Kilgore Mercantile to get a new cup to replace the one with a hole, and the owner told us we were not the first ones coming in with that issue this week.

THE WORST WHATABURGER!!! They don't listen to ANY requests. My order is ALWAYS WRONG or they forget about an item altogether. It's so irritating. I just want my food right. Absolutely horrible, the cashier could barely put the order in correctly and forgot to give me my shake. Also I ordered a sweet and spicy with NO mustard and grilled jalapeños… guess what I got, mustard and no jalapeños. How can you mess up this badly.
