It was the best dining experience we had in Italy. I made the reservation before arriving to Italy. They even called me to reassure the reservation which was very kind!. I truly appreciated. The food was exceptional with local cuisine that we loved so much. The owner and servers were so polite and welcoming that made our experience at this restaurant unforgettable. Thank you so much for your excellent service!!! You made my uncle's 70th birthday so special.

You can only find specialities from Bergamo on the menu and also the wine is from the region. We had a wonderful evening with friends here and enjoyed the food and wine very much. The owner is a very nice person and you can feel the passion when you talk to him.

We came here with a big group of friends (including a baby) and Cinzia, our waitress, was super patient with us. The place is gorgeous, the lights are warm creating a calm atmosphere and there are a selection of plants that gave me a strong sense of home. I ate the cheek, which was cooked at low temperature so it was super tender and came with the right amount of sauce to go with the accompanying polenta taragna, which contained the perfect amount of melted cheese inside. I also tried the fried cheese balls (bombette) which were super stringy and crunchy! Of course I had to try their signature cocktail (Tino) which is made with their own house amaro and tonic water. For desert I tried the stracciatella icecream which I came to find out it originates from that area. The crunch in the big chunks of chocolate, I can’t explain. You’ll have to try it for yourself. Am I going back? You bet I am.

We went here last summer and this restaurant was a surprise for us. If you want to really discover a place you have to eat their traditional food and gastronomy. Here food was so delicious and they treated us so well. If we travel again to Bergamo we sure come back to this restaurant.

Come here to taste the real dishes from Bergamo! Only, do not expect plenty of vegan or vegetarian here :) then you will not be disappointed by the buttery stuffed pasta or meat with polenta.
