Bushfire Kitchen - Long Beach

10/10 experience. I got the salmon bowl on mashed potatoes with the Brussels! And a beef empanada and peaches and cream empanada to share. So so so so delicious and didn’t feel too heavy! The cook on the salmon was perfect. The flavor of the chimichurri sauce for the beef empanada was superb! The teriyaki sauce was delicious, too. Shout out to Glen for giving us a tour of the menu and the recommendations . Glen’s attention and service made our first experience a great one. Thanks, Glen! Hope to see you next time I’m there! IF You’re not there - I’m not coming! ;)

Everything I ordered was tasted magnificent. They knocked out of the park! I had beef empanada, mac n cheese, grilled brussel sprouts, and korean cauliflower.

We ordered wings and an entrée, and both were excellent. The service was friendly, the beer was great, and the food was outstanding. The outdoor patio was really chill to eat out on.

Our family has celiac and have histamine issues. Vacationing with the kids from out of state we found this place to meet friends. Clean, amazing customer service! 1/15/2026 LuLu, Esmeralda, and Isacc were so awesome and worked so well together. We ordered 2 kids chicken strips with jasmine rice. I had the green salad, and my husband had the Peri Peri chicken plate with creamy garlic mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Everything was delicious. The weather was sunny in the 80s on their lovely patio in January. The craft sodas were so good. I don't believe the lemonade has any sugar. I wish we had one of these in Arizona. I would be a regular. Such a fantastic place and fantastic people. Nice parking lot since it is in an outdoor strip mall around the corner of the building from Sprouts.

I came here for the empanadas and left with wanting more! Cookies are great. Beer/Sangria/Wine a great option for a cute little outing. ( kambocha craft plus for me 🥰) Definitely coming back to try the rest of the meal! I love it has outdoor pet friendly zone .

The food and service was great! We had the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich, the American Burger, side order of fries, and a chocolate chip cookie. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The portions were also good! The general manager, Mario, and his staff made sure that we had everything we needed and that our food was to our liking. The atmosphere is clean, casual, and welcoming. What we liked the most about this restaurant is that they have a great menu with options for everyone. We will definitely be back to try some more things.

Second visit at Bushfire Kitchen on PCH. The food was delicious. Good quality. They have a variety of options for different diets and food preferences. We ordered the Gaucho steak sandwich, Bushfire Burger, BBQ Tri Tip and Power Greens. The chimichurri sauce on the sandwich was excellent.

One of Long Beach's hidden gems. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in the door until we left. They took the time to explain the menu to us, as we were first-timers. The food was just as good as the service. All in all, 5 stars.

Wow!! We live right across the street and we’re dying for this place to open once we saw the advertisement! We could not be more pleased, impressed, and so incredibly thankful for the experience we had upon going in for the first time today! The food was beyond incredible and you could just taste how much thought was put into making it so healthy and so delicious. The women at the registers were SO helpful and kind, and our server Joseph was beyond incredible and hospitable. He made our experience one we will never forget! Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! We are telling everyone about you all!

Love the little outdoor patio that is fully shaded. Staff is very friendly and on top of clearing tables. It was good to review the menu before arriving since you order at the counter, and there is not a lot of space to hold up the line. Really good lemon cookie and Stubborn sodas. Empanadas were 10/10.

Got the Surf and Turf and wow...it is as delicious as it looks! 😋 They like to check on you to see how everything is but I think they know they have really good food. Nothing is overly seasoned and vice versa. The sauces the plate comes with are perfect for what I got and they have plenty of sides to choose from. I feel like I got more than what I payed for 🤭🤫 they even asked how I want my salmon cooked which never happens when I order salmon and I get salmon often. I do think they check in a little more than they need to but I'm not sure how new this place is so that might be why.

We went a preview day and tried the Surf n Turf, En Fuego Burger, and chicken empanada. Everything tasted great, especially the chimichurri sauce. The wait for the food was not long at all. I can see this place being part of my regular go-to places.

As a student of csulb this is my go to spot for lunch, whether it be take out or dine in the food is always so consistent. I personally recommend the Thai chicken curry bowl with Brussels sprouts. Be on the look out for a handsome worker named Isaac he is always respectful and very friendly to all guests he makes this place worth it!

My wife got the Superfood Salad and I got the Wild Alaskan Flounder Bowl. Both were fantastic. It was fresh, quick and reasonably priced. My only regret is that I didn't take a photo of my plate to post it here. To ownership: If you ever consider locations in Texas, we're in San Antonio. Just sayin'. :)

I have never encountered more helpful and genuinely lovely staff. Always greeted with warmth, a smile and all of the staff go the extra mile. Sweet potato fries are unreal and I love how many gluten free options there are. As someone with an allergy, I have eaten here more times than I care to admit and never had a problem. Michael is especially amazing, I always leave feeling happy, lifted and FULL. Highly recommend!

The cookie was the star of the show, with customer service a close second. The food was good.

Stopped in for a late lunch with my sister. New spot here in LB. Fast casual restaurant with American fare. I had the BLT with sweet potato fries. A solid choice. The fries were delicious. Super crispy. The staff are wonderful. Super friendly and helpful. Our server brought me a sauce to try for my fries since I declined ketchup. And she checked on us, refilled our drinks and brought us to-go boxes. Highly recommend for a quick delicious bite. Will be back.

Disappointed. Expected better from pics and high rating but poor execution on reheated food will mark this my first and last visit to any of their locations. Overcooked chicken is a no-no anywhere. But a place that came up on my search as a gastropub? Yikes! Even worse, it wasn’t even fresh! If they had overcooked my chicken fresh, it would’ve been hot. But this was pre-overcooked then heated up to lukewarm before being given to me. I believe that is the case because the alternative is worse. Sad. Quick aside: maybe they cooked my chicken fresh and over cooked it then still served it to me lukewarm. It’s possible. That would be just as disturbing, I just went with my gut reaction above. Bbq sauce was cheap but tangy - maybe to cover up inability to properly cook chicken? By “cheap”, you can taste the quality of the ingredients easily and tell it’s just so-so sauce but it helped me get through the chewy chicken so I’ll give it a pass The squash was good - nice temp, softness and flavor. Mixed veggies looked like they came out of a bag and were not hot plus had inconsistent crunchiness to individual veggies that made me wonder what that mess was so I left it alone after a quick bite. The bread was fine but definitely unremarkable. And then the bar fly that wouldn’t leave me alone - I’m at a table far from the bar where you see these critters most often (hence the name) so seeing one at my table makes me believe they don’t clean well. Sad there was only counter service - I felt the website led me to believe there was bar seating but whatever. The tables were fine, bar fly not fine, numbered signs should be replaced - they are worn out and made improperly to hold up to regular use. My server, Michael, was a delight - he didn’t know much about the beer but he was polite, seemed to genuinely care, and very friendly. If you do visit, I hope you get to experience him and his easy smile - he was the best part of my visit! I won’t be back but at least I tried :)

My family and I had dinner there tonight everything was very tasty and staff was attentive and pleasant. The issue is the fruit fly issue you have in the indoor dining area. It’s not only a nuisance while eating but is a red flag for contamination since they land on food and surfaces. You should clean all your areas that attract moisture ASAP! Seriously it’s just gross!
