Lugar con encanto en el propio arco de Mérida cerca de la Plaza España. El encargado te oferta platos fuera de carta. Muy delicioso y muy tranquilo el sitio. Para la terraza no se aceptan reservas. Para el restaurante, sí pero el día que fuimos estaba bastante vacío. Lo recomiendo.

Restaurante en pleno centro de Mérida con una carta espectacular. Nos atendió Alejandro y no pudimos tener mejor servicio: atento, amable, muy buen profesional y nos hizo sentir como en casa durante toda la comida. Sin duda volveremos porque es un restaurante imprescindible en Mérida.

Muy buen lugar para comer de tapeo o de carta. Nosotros hicimos lo primero y la verdad es que salimos encantados con la calidad de la comida. El pan casero que pagas merece la pena porque está riquísimo. El croqueton de jamón tiene un sabor muy bueno y el gazpacho de cerezas estaba también muy bueno. La hamburguesa no es que sea muy grande, más bien escasa, pero bueno de acompañamiento a otra cosa es sin duda,una buena opción. El tiramisú y la tarta de queso que pedimos estaban espectaculares. Merece la pena sin alguna duda.

Todo súper rico, nos gustó todo, especialmente la carrillada y las alcachofas. Personal muy profesional y buen ambiente. Muchas opciones sin gluten y aptas para celíacos.

Parada de obligado cumplimiento si estás en Mérida Nos han buscado un sitio, a pesar de estar lleno. Personal amable, educado y profesional. Hemos preferido comer de tapas " un acierto pleno " .- Tartar de Buey ( increíble si te gusta la carne cruda ) una maravilla .- Paté de Berenjena con Ras el Hanout ( suave y con un sabor riquísimo) .- Atún en escabeche con piparras y encurtidos ( una ensalada pequeña para acompañar el resto ) .- Tortitas de Oreja crujiente con salsa brava ( de lujo... de pedirte 3 raciones más. Buenísimas y diferentes a lo que pudiera haber probado antes ) RACION de Alcachofas Confitadas a la plancha ( sabrosas, tiernas y bien cocinadas ) Si vuelvo a Mérida, tengo muy claro en donde comer Buena Comida Buen Servicio Buen Entorno Precio más que Razonable ... a pesar de haber cumplido con mi parte del servicio, que era pagar la cuenta, quiero darles las gracias, por su buen hacer. Definitely worth it. This restaurant had great reviews on many different sites and i understand why. The food was delicious. Very well presented, good portions for the price and surprisingly different. We tried to go again on our trip but we went late and there was a bit of a waiting list.

An impromptu visit with no previous booking - booking is highly recommended - and the right amount of luck getting a table, ended up with a treat like no other, where food was surpassed by the service received. Having lunch with this good food, with an amazing service, and under Emperor Trajan's Arch (c. 15 ac - over 2,000 years old!), is an experience I will always remember with a smile. Oh! Prices are more than reasonable.

The food was spectacular. The steaks were perfect, the foie was so delicate and tasty and the duck was soft and delicious. The carpaccio was a surprise for us because we had never tried it, and we loved it. The desserts were also spectacular, we ordered the house desserts and they were all very good, but specially the cheesecake. It was my mom's birthday and they were so nice to take out the dessert with candles, and even take pictures and videos! It's in the expensive side, but it's quite reasonable for the type of menu. If you have the chance, please go! I hope to go there again soon!

The best meal I had in Mérida! The Solomillo is so good it made me try "Solomillos" everywhere. But this one is still the best I've tried in Spain. It's also one of the nicest places you can find in Mérida, it's beautiful and full of life outside.

I can’t believe we had one of greatest lunches on our way to seville. Everything we ordered came out super tasty and delicious. They have English menu online but try to translate the menu they give you. I believe they are a bit different. Either way you wont be disappointed. We loved it so so much. Había que ser rápido para poder ocupar una mesa en la zona que no admitía reservas, que viene a ser la de tapas, en la otra zona hacía mucho tiempo que las tenían ocupadas, según manifiesta el camarero Daniel, persona que, en principio, puede parecer algo osca en el trato pero que más tarde se suaviza. No es lo mismo que ocurre con Araceli en la sala y Laura en la barra, quienes se manifiestan simpáticas y solícitas desde el primer momento. El mantener la puerta de la calle permanentemente abierta provoca falta de confort en algunas zonas del local al colarse por allí una desagradable corriente de aire frío. Con las bebidas iniciales se sirve un detalle de sabrosas aceitunas. El pan, si se pide, va a 50 céntimos la pieza. Mi pareja y yo nos hemos conformado con una tapa de tortitas de oreja crujiente con salsa brava (que poco tenía de brava excepto el intenso color rojo), unas alcachofas confitadas con AOVE a la plancha y unos chipirones encebollados. En el postre ha podido la curiosidad y hemos compartido una técula Mécula de Olivenza. La bebida ha consistido en tres botellas de cerveza Túria. Una vez puesta en marcha la cocina, los platos no han tardado en salir y nosotros los hemos disfrutado encontrando que estaban bien preparados y presentados. El local se ha llenado rápidamente pero ello no impedía poder mantener una conversación. Las mesas se presentan sin mantel y con servilletas de papel.

El sitio es muy bonito y el personal muy amable. El helado de violeta está riquísimo. Pedimos tapas. Vienen muy monas presentadas. El solomillo y el pisto muy buenos. El bacalao a la dorada tiene muchas patatas de bolsa. La comida de tapas está bien, no es una maravilla pero bien. La botella de dulce Eva muy bien. Bastante recomendable.

Comida sencilla con buen producto. Además es así como nos lo dijeron " aquí nos centramos en el género". Íbamos al certamen de teatro e íbamos con el tiempo justo y nos aconsejo e hizo que todo fuera más rápido. Buen sitio para cenar

We went here for tapas on a Friday night. Place was hopping with diners but the service was fast. The food was ok but nothing special, good ingredients cooked in a standard way. My wife was in a pissy mood and maybe we didn't make the right choices. Tapas are cheap and the food is abundant. We have the croqueton de jamon iberico, which was good; bunuelos de coliflor, which were ok; and the artichokes, which were quite oily.

Situated by the Trajan Arc, this restaurants offers some interesting pinchos (sliced bread with toppings). Pinchos are from northern Spain. I loved their cheese with caramelized onions! Their Vino Limon is like a sangria but sweeter and has much stronger citrus flavor. Grilled vegetables are huge. Way too much for 2 persons. Their salad wasnt too interesting. Go for their pinchos.

Destacar el sitio, tanto localización como el propio local. Muy bonito. Además recomendar encarecidamente las carrilleras, y el postre de almendra junto con el gazpacho. La atención del personal muy buena. Lo que no me gustó: las tortitas de oreja no las terminé porque estaban quemadas y así nada puede estar bueno. Lo que no estaba quemado estaba rico. El pan descongelado, se caía a pedazos. Si fuera del día o al menos no congelado sería otra historia.

Comimos en sábado, llegamos a eso de las 14:00 y estaba lleno, mientras esperamos mesa, me acerco a la barra a pedir unas bebidas y el camarero me dice que vienen a tomarnos nota de mala manera. 25 minutos después tras ignorarnos dos camareros, una chica nos toma nota y al poco ya nos sentamos. La comida la verdad es que estaba muy buena, el sitio es espectacular, con parte del Arco de Trajano en su interior, pero nada recomendable si está abarrotado porque el servicio deja mucho que desear, solo el camarero que nos atendió en mesa fue el único que fue todo un profesional.

The food was great, the service was ok, but as they were a bit busy, we did have to wait for a bit obviously,so it's understandable. The only thing we didn't like was that we tried several times to phone then to book the date, and noone picked up the phone, at all. Besides that, all good.

Good food bad service. And of course the bill was overcharge with things theybever brought. First people encountered in Spain that did not learn how to smile.

I was so excited to eat here because it was recommended and the reviews are so good. Loads of people said how kind and helpful the staff was, however, for me they walked by us multiple times without noticing us. We waved, spoke, and I even got up to ask if we could pay. I’m very disappointed in this encounter. We saw the staff help and wait on everyone else but we were forgotten. After they gave us the check we waited 25 minutes for them to let us pay. It was almost 11pm so we ended up going inside to ask to pay. Then after the guy said gracias and left us with the bill and plate in our hands. We would have ordered more but it seemed as if our presence was bothersome. The croquettes were good but the solomillo lacked flavor. I hope someone reads this to help with a solution. Otherwise you will find others traveling through your town very disappointed.

We asked for 2 large beer and water. The wIter brought 2 small beer, one smaller than the other. We called the waiter 4-5 times. Nothing...so we asked out loud the bill. The waiter came and started to comment offensively. We had no chance to order food. But we have seen the prices for the Spanish menu, and the prices for the English menu were double. They did not charge us any money, but on going out the waiter shouted that we should not come back again.
