I came here during lunch and had ordered a pretty big order. I was quickly helped and the worker was really friendly. She made sure to confirm my order and was detail oriented. I got my drinks immediately after paying and got my order out to me in about 3 minutes. She asked if I needed anything else and I asked for sauce and she happily grabbed them for me and thanked me a good day. Overall a good experience, better then other locations I've been to.

The hamburger I ordered was not worthy of bragging. On the other hand, the French fries were good. The meal was filling, which was my objective, but nothing memorable. The counter lady smiled and greeted with a smile. She offered various lunch specials to help me make choices. The seating was comfortable for a fast food establishment. People were enjoying themselves and laughing, which enhanced the atmosphere.

Not the greatest freshness for the cost this visit, but other times sufficient fresh meals, price worthy. Overall, not bad, been better, would recommend. Lunch for 3 people $34 1 Western burger combo - top $15 1 Big Carl burger- single 1 onion rings order - reg. 1 chicken stars - sml.

This restaurant is really slow, the drive thru is worse, but the place is always clean and workers are really nice and respectful. Great prices and food is amazing. Big parking space and the outside is really clean.

Carl's Jr. has high prices for fast food, but the quality of the food is worth it... usually. In this case, I got 5 onion rings for over $5; that's more than $1 per onion ring. The cashier was hurried and unfriendly. I believe she was the general manager. Carl's Jr. was one of the last holdouts on shrinkflation, but I don't think that's the case anymore. The Western Bacon cheeseburger was smaller than previously.

Regardless of the respect & smile you show to the employees the service is minimal. My husband who is a business manager, wanted to show the employees care. He smiled and thanked the employees the entire way through the process even after leaving them a tip which is not required in a fast food setting. Yet, the employees all walked to the back, left the window & the counter unattended, & returned 5 minutes later while no other cars were in the drive through and only 2 customers we’re eating inside. Either the employees at this location are understaffed, or customer service is not valued at this location and the employees are paid to come to work and hang out! If I were the owner I would look into this immediately.. If not, let the community know that a “Great rated fast food chain” is not the case here! Carl’s Jr is a great chain, let’s keep its name great. These employees are SATISFACTORY at best….

I would give 0 if I could. Customer service was horrible. The lady with the face tattoo taking our order was extremely rude and refused our request for a military discount even though my husband showed his service ID. We stayed that we would be eating in the restaurant and she packed our food to go and refused to bring it to our table. When my husband went to pick our food up from the counter, he requested the sauces that we normally request and she stated that she was going to charge him for the sauces. I checked the receipt and it showed the cashier's name as Dominic. When asked what her name was she stated "it's on your receipt." I asked "so you're name is Dominic?" She said "if that's what it says on the receipt, that's my name tonight." Very miserable. Very unprofessional!

If I can get this Restaurant 0 zero stars, I would Today July 5th, 2025, I tried to go to Carl’s Jr.‘s to use my card for the Restaurant Meals program known as the RMP I’ve used my card and other restaurants. I never had issues at other Carl’s Jr.‘s but the one on McHenry here in Modesto gave me trouble. The manager said have you ever used at Carl’s Jr , she said their system wasn’t working. They were having trouble first of all. They’re supposed to be using a white machine for this program not a black machine, not the regular card machine that she was actually trying to pass my card on and she said well the RMP program is for cash I said no it’s not. I never had any trouble any place else. I said this restaurant and two other restaurants have given me trouble I said you’re using the wrong machine and I was checking to make sure she was not double charging me after 15 minutes of her trying to swipe my card 20 times she said it was not going through. She actually told me that If I have enough funds on my card which I had I told her you know what “cancel the order” and I walked out. I went down the street to downtown to another restaurant I was able to do three purchases singly they went through! It’s just that this Carl’s Jr.‘s the manager did not have the right machine. They did not know how to use the RMP system so I will never be going back there ever again for what I was going to spend over $30 , they can go to hell! me and my spouse are both disabled and over 60 years old to be treated like that I don’t think so! People who are vets, disabled and on this program BEWARE!

Horrible management Claudia is the manager of the store she was rude! I asked for my food fresh and she gave it to me cold!! Ridiculous how management is now and days. Wasted my money never going here again. Nasty old fries

Ordered large fries and they only gave us small. Chick at the drive through was rude, could have at least given us the order correctly. No syrup in the sodas at all either.

Lost a customer today. I really wanted the chicken and waffle sandwich...Carl's Jr should be ashamed to charge so much for such a small sandwich, I took it back and Rose offered me an exchange so I got the BLT Angus thick burger, now by this time I'm really hungry so I open my burger it looks good but it smells funny(fishy) I took a bite anyways and almost threw up while driving. Very disappointing 😞.

Went in to try their new BFC burger and the 1/3rd Lbs patty was quite small and was quite dry. It was not seasoned properly. The fried cheese also lacked alot of flavor tasted more oily than anything else. Paid around 9.50$ for the burger and I'd much rather go to a burger restaurant where the meat would be served fresh.
