Late night run to the local jack n the box.. Everything was emp. Name on my rec said eli. Working the window at 11:19pm on 6/5/19 was Amazing. All the food was hot n fresh the only thing is. I order a combo and got a sprite n it tasted like salt water.. No sweetener what so ever.. But, over a worth the visit...

I go to the spot often, mostly out of convenience of location. They're usually fairly quick with a usually Short line. But there's about a 20% chance they're going to screw something up on the order there. Last week I went and ordered two burgers with no mayonnaise, and they both came with mayonnaise. A month ago I ordered some tacos and there was so much grease leaking out of the taco bags that it stained the passenger seat of my new car. One time I went and ordered 10 tacos to share with some friends and asked for hot sauce and we got two packets. I was there yesterday and ordered four tacos and did not ask for hot sauce and I got about a dozen packets. I just don't understand such a high failure rate when they're not busy or crowded. If you go to In-N-Out there's a half hour line of cars, everyone's moving at breakneck speed, and they never miss a single thing up. I will say though that they have the best app with the best reward system by far. Edit 6/17/2021: I went back to this location a few days later. The order was perfect and the food delicious. Someone from the restaurant reached out to me directly today. I very much respect the way she handled this and the way she wants to right the wrong.

I ordered the T Pain bugernator munchie meal. I was waiting for my stuffed cookie and taco and air freshener, they gave me no taco and churros instead of the cookie. And I'm missing my air freshener. T Pain would never approve.

This area i really like til they don't get there orders correct. Especially the tacos should be filled with Lettuce and more beef.. but seriously?

Oct. 31, 2024. Beware! Warning! Before you go! Nice staff but it’s 55-60 degrees inside so you cannot eat inside the restaurant! It’s freezing. Our hot summer is over but management will not adjust the temperature. Obviously they want less customers. Weird.

Update: Nov. 9, 2025 Corporate sent a message for me up further my complaint. No way. Carlos is in charge of the color of people’s skin when they come in the door to spend money. Dav agrees with him. Carlos wins. This white woman spends her money down the street at Burger King, McDonalds, Del Taco and Taco Bell, Popeyes etc. This Jack in the Box does not need my or my friends and family’s money. Nope.imho. Carlos wins. Sept. 14, 2025: Well 5 days later and no response from Nancy or upper management. Absolutely true my post. Carlos refused to charge me the posted price because I am a white woman. No question I am right about the Racism in this store from Carlos and Dav and Ereidi. And again no free fries on Friday said Ereidi. This Racism against whites and elder abuse needs to stop. So now I spend my money at Burger King, McDonalds, Popeyes, In and out burger. All down the street. This store does not need my money. I am guessing Carlos & Dav will get a raise for cleaning out the white people from spending their money in his store. Wait: Sept. 10, 2025. After some thought, I think it’s best that Carlos & Dav be in charge of the color of the skin of the customers. I do not need to go into this Jack in the Box. There is another one that I also go to a mile or 2 away. After talking to some of my WHITE/Caucasian friends, they too will not go in this store and bother the employees. Carlos and Dav win. It’s what Nancy and upper management want also. But beware people! It’s also about over charging for food that posts a different price which Carlos refuses to honor. Do not let Carlos over charge you. Do not let Carlos abuse you, no matter your skin color. Elder abuse is against the law. Not honoring posted prices is against the law and fraud. Also down the street is McDonalds and Burger King. They do not discriminate. Sept. 6, 2025 Sat. 7:40 pm What is happening in this store??!! Last night Carlos refused to honor the price of a burger that is listed on the board. He insisted there is no burger for $2.49. I pointed to it but he refused. After a few minutes he still insisted in charging me the extra money which is thievery. He said, I’m going to charge you this no matter what and I will take the cheese off but you will pay for it. That is not right I said. I want the burger for $2.49 without cheese in the first place. He said NO. I am charging you what I want . So I asked for the manager but Dav was on break. I told Carlos well forget it this is overcharging from a posted price. I guess I have to leave. He said good. I see Dav tell him and he rings up the burger for $2.49 but he refused to show Carlos on the screen, I have a pic. Dav absolutely refused to teach Carlos. So…. after a few minutes I realize that this is elder abuse, which is against the law. Fraud by an employee and Racism. Carlos wanted me to leave because I’m WHITE. There’s no other reason. It’s posted 2.49 but Carlos insisted on charging me $2.99. If I wasn’t going to allow him to overcharge me he was happy I was leaving. It’s crazy his abusive behavior to me. Why? Why is Nancy the manager allowing such abuse? Dav too. AND I tried to get free fries on Friday. THIS STORE REFUSES TO GIVE YOU FREE FRIES ON FRIDAY. Isn’t this fraud too? Below I posted Eneidi refused to give me the free fries. Why? What is happening in this store? Sept. 4, 2025: It’s a lie people. You do not get free fries on Friday says the Supervisor in charge Ereidi. She laughed. She thinks it’s funny you drive there for food AND free fries and no fries. I think it’s fraud. What a bunch of Baloney! I am giving 1 Star because there has been no Air Conditioning for A Week!! It’s so hot in there! It’s been in the 80’s in Monrovia Ca. Step up owner/management! This is abuse to your employees! And customers! I have not seen any repair trucks and I have been buying food every day for a week. Fix the Air Conditioning!!

9-6-25 afternoon. I was at the Jack in The box Monrovia and I went up to the counter and I used a coupon and I said please make sure that the french fries are hot. I also said instead of the yellow cheese I wanted the Swiss cheese because I don't like yellow cheese and he said yes so I also said that when I was here a few months ago I went through the drive-thru two different times two different days and I said please make sure the french fries are hot but they were not hot so I explained that to the guy at the counter. When I sat down I tried a french fry and it was not hot so I went up to the counter and I said the french fries are not hot and and the hamburger had yellow cheese when I asked for Swiss cheese. He said well 20 minutes has gone by and then I said when I first sat down it was not hot and we were doing something. We were trying to do photos and so I said can I please exchange this for hot fries and he said he has to ask his manager plus he said when I gave him the coupon not to write over the code and I said you're the first person who has ever told me not to write over the code. Because I always write the expiration date on each coupon. Don't you have a display of coupons that tells you what the coupons are for? They had them do over the hamburger with Swiss cheese and the only thing that was left to do was to get hot french fries but then he said he'd have to talk to the manager. The manager showed up and she basically repeated what the guy said and then I said are you telling me that I'm lying that the french fries we're not hot cuz I told him when I sat down I did try the french fry and it was not hot and you don't believe me? Then she said that she would refuse service that I could not use the coupons and then I said well the coupon that I use includes french fries so now I cannot eat any french fries. I was thinking that and I said to her I don't think french fries cost a lot of money for you guys couldn't you just swap out the french fries for hot fries? She finally gave me the hot fries after all of that and then she said you cannot use your coupons and we won't be serving you and so I felt that in all of my life (I am a senior) having to go to many fast food chains I have never ever been told that. I felt discriminated. I was embarrassed that I was treated that way and I felt that this was very bad service from this location.

This site has always been fairly good but today the service was subpar. My receipt reflected 2 Sweet &Sour dips added to my order but there wasn't any (not one), they really need to check the receipt or ask again if the order is complete if they want my business.

They always get the orders wrong, they never double check the order before handing it over. This always happens and it's getting to the point where it's a waste of money to even go. The workers need to be held more accountable for their errors and be fired. Jack needs more competent workers it's not that hard to take an order and ensure it is correct.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I literally just left this location. I ordered the jumbo platter, I asked the young lady if she could add a few French toast in the platter since I didn't want the meat. She tried to charge me an additional cost for it when I really wasn't adding anything. I politely asked to speak with the manager and she stated she was the only one there. I literally just left there, it's 11:40 pm. Her name was sella or cella - mexican young girl. She should be fired - terrible customer service. On top of that, I went to another location and they didn't have a problem doing what I asked.

Beware and don’t order their tacos unless you want food poisoning. Me and a my brother went in on 11/29/2024 ordered food. my brother ordered tacos we sat down he taken a bite and said it tasted funny. He told me he has ordered plenty of tacos from Jack-in-the-Box, but this order tasted funny to him. I said don’t eat them. An hour later, after taking a bite of the tacos, he conducted food poisoning and was out for the rest of the day, throwing up his guts!! so be aware of this place if you order any type of food, you may conduct food poisoning from this place this place needs to be shut down. The restrooms were disgusting no toilet paper in there. The tables were absolutely dirty. Horrible place to eat don’t eat this garbage food.
