We sat out on the patio. Service was great. Food was fresh. I wish the salad had come out beforehand. Also, I had hoped for a Greek salad with the gyro plate but we got a fruit house salad which wad great as well. All of it was fresh and quality ingredients. I also wish they had rice as an option with lunch.

My wife Hannah and I had an excellent experience at Cafe Arazu! Kathy Jo greeted us immediately found us a table and gave us an alcohol free drink for my pregnant wife that she LOVED! The service was beyond outstanding and the food just blew us away. If you’re looking for amazing quality and authentic Mediterranean food this is your spot! The place had such mom and pop feel to it. The staff seemed like one big family! 10 out of 10 recommend.

We celebrated my daughter’s Sweet 16 at Café Arazu, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect evening. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff went above and beyond to make the night special, with friendly service and great attention to detail. The venue itself is full of character and charm, an ideal setting for a memorable celebration with family and friends. Thank you to everyone at Café Arazu for helping create such a wonderful experience. We’ll be back for the next occasion!

New ownership, same great food. Went to Cafe Arazu a lot growing up, always excellent. I was nervous to hear they had new owners, but I have been several times recently and the food has been excellent. Polynesian pork wrap and the curry chicken salad sandwich in particular. Only complaint is they seem very flustered when it gets busy and it takes a long time to be seated or to even put your name in for a table. Served was great when I went for lunch though

Food was excellent!! Fantastic menu that made it hard to make a selection. Can't wait to go back and try more options! Cool space in an older building. Great wine and drink menu, with a full bar. Desserts looked amazing as well, but unfortunately passed on those options because we were so full from dinner.

Great food, great service, great experience. Everyone was so nice. We got there right at opening and we're treated amazingly. Food was delicious. Just a great experience. Please make sure you make this a stop while you're in Newburgh, you won't regret it. And ask for Madison, she was our server and honestly, one of the best servers I've ever had.

This place is highly recommended. It is located right on the river with a quaint indoor seating area and nice outdoor seating. Our server was very knowledgeable and offered great recommendations. The steak medallions were so tasty paired with a sangria! Make sure to save room for their homemade carrot cake.

AMAZING lunch!! The food, service and atmosphere (especially if you are lucky enough to get an outside table with a river view) was incredible! We enjoyed everything we ate. Prices are very reasonable. Staff was very attentive. Don't hesitate to go. We will be going back for dinner next time!

Lovely place with a yummy Dinner 😍 1. Best location in Evansville downtown with Mediterranean food. 2. Outdoor seating also available with lovely environment 3. Shawarma spot 😍 4. Chicken is awesome in all the dishes we ordered Falafel Platter is my favorite dish here (good news for VegaN folks 😋). 1. Reservations recommended. We were able to walk in on a Friday night. Great romantic location with the view of the Ohio River. The service and food is excellent! A family celebrating their daughter's birthday shared a piece of blueberry zucchini cake! We will return soon to try more of the menu. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

Saturday night after Christmas the place was packed and extremely noisy to the point of not being able to carry on conversation. Also the staff was overwhelmed which ended up with slow service waiting 15 minutes for our drink order and we were sitting in the bar. It had nothing to do with our server they were just overwhelmed. We had reservations and drove in from Owensboro.

Food is good. Ambience is good. But The place is quite small. So many people waiting, standing around. Can’t reserve the table. Just have to walk in. We have 6people in a group, have to cram into small table. I think They forget to cook my plate, while everyone else in my group all had theirs for a while and were ready to eat. And had to wait for mine. The Lady (may be manager?) came to apologize for the delay (which is nice ). However, it is mandatory to tip at least 18%. (Which i think its too much considering the service we get, they should have waived the tip as an apology)

Visited this place one in a Friday night but the wait time was really long so had to go to a different place. The next time we visit was on a weekday for a dinner. Didn't have to wait this time to find a seat. The place is small tables placed really close to each other, sometimes it's difficult for servers!! Also, it's nice view of Ohio river and the sunset when you sit outside.

My husband and I decided to have dinner with two of our friends on a Tuesday evening. We entered and were asked where we would like to be seated. We opted for the outdoor patio as it was a lovely evening. We are seated and told that our waitress would be with us. We waited and waited some more. Meanwhile, other people that were seated after we had been were being attended to with water, bread, and dipping oil. Ultimately, my husband goes inside to let them know we had been sitting there for at least 20 minutes and no one had bothered to check our table. Our friend also stopped another waitress to ask her where is our waitress. We heard the same story “didn’t know it was my table” “we didn’t know anyone had not seen to you” etc. Clearly, all involved should have been MORE than aware that they have people arriving and being seated. Finally, the other waitress that was asked comes to get our drink orders and take our order. We all ordered a drink of some kind, but didn’t receive them all at the same time. I had to ask again about a simple glass of wine I ordered and finally received it. My friend specifically ordered a side sauce with her salad and had to ask again for it to brought out. We were told that the owner or management would be out to speak with us and they did, but it didn’t feel like a sincere apology for such bad, slow service. We enjoyed our evening with our friends despite the awful service, the food at least tasted good, and they did not charge us for our desserts. Compliments for the waitress who at least put forth some effort to make sure we were tended to. We had not been to Cafe Arazu in a long time and more than likely will not again.
