This Asian Fusion is a must try. Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere as the areas are broken up so it's not too noisy. The food is amazing. Everything we got was delicious. Highly recommend. Will be going back!

Came here tonight to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. We had a party of 6 and were looking for a last minute reservation. I called several other fine dining restaurants in OKC and this was the only place willing to accommodate us. I made a reservation at 4 o’clock for 8 pm and they willingly offered their private dining room. The customer service was excellent and accommodating. From the moment we sat down until we walked out the door the hospitality was amazing. We all had the idgaf tasting menu and every SINGLE course was phenomenal. The chef was humble and human. We were all so invested in the moment that I forgot to take photos but this was an experience I will NEVER forget.

A contemporary culinary tour of the pacific rim! Excellent food and top notch service awaits at this upscale spot! The appetizer selection was broad and flavorful! The drinks were a spectacle to behold and tasty too! I had the Pad Thai! It was epic! Lest we forget about the deserts!

Enjoyed probably one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had here. They go above and beyond to accommodate any and all dietary requests. The chef creates a custom curated menu that incorporates all of your senses by pairing a signature song, scent and beverage with each course. This is undoubtedly one of the top culinary experiences Oklahoma has to offer. Thank you again for an amazing evening!

I was pleasantly surprised at this restaurant! I had the chef pick my course and everything was delicious. The staff was very accommodating and made us feel welcomed.

My wife and I went to Pachinko on a Friday night. We sat in the front room and let me tell you it is the definition of a social scene and I mean this in the best way. People are eating, they are drinking and they are enjoying themselves. Now the front room can be a little loud so don’t let that surprise you, but for me it was awesome seeing everyone have a great time. Now for the food. I started off with their Minka Old Fashion and the presentation was beautiful. It wasn’t my favorite cocktail I’ve ever had but it was good. They also serve you cucumber infused water which is delicious. Then we did the three rice cakes and the pachinko roll for our appetizer. This was EASILY the best sushi in town. The combination of flavors were fresh and bold but not over powering. My wife and I then split the surf and turf. I think if this is your first time here getting the surf and turf is the way to go because you get to sample everything. It comes with seared ahi tuna, beef filet, and Chilean sea bass. I will tell you I have never had fish as good as the Chilean sea bass. It was perfectly flaky, moist, and had a nice sear on the outside. Our side was the wasabi potatoes which were exquisite. We finished off our meal with the chocolate cake topped with Nutella. The cake combined with the sweetness of the Nutella made a perfect pair. Our service was fantastic and I can’t wait to go back to try more menu items.

This place was overall a good place to eat. My only small complaint was that the nigiri rice was not enough vinegar and was not cooked fully but the salmon was soft and perfect. I ordered the pork 3 ways and it was absolutely delicious. It was a small portion though (not too small I am just a hungry b) and I could have eaten another plate of it 😅 very soft pork and yummy sauces. My husband had the pad Thai and it was really tasty. It was a little spicy and he added the beef tenderloin to it. The beef was very soft and the pad Thai was also very flavorful. We also got some sake and I got a cute and yummy cocktail that had popping boba in it. The desert was the special of the night and it was a mini turtle pie with sesame. It was sooooo good. The bathroom was nice. Also kind of weird decor of the karate kid on the wall. I'm just saying sht about it because I'm trying to write something long 🤣 I will be back babbyyyyy

This is possibly the best dining experience in OKC. I have done it a couple times and had a insanely good experience every time. Chef Eric is definitely one of the best chefs in OKC. He was a successful chef in Chicago for years before coming back to Oklahoma and being apart of numerous successful restaurants around the city. This is not just a meal, this is a total dining experience. And it is excellent on all levels. I would recommend this to anyone willing spend money on a great dining experience. Each dinner is custom to your group. He will custom create the menu based on your groups strong likes, dislikes and allergies. You have to have a minimum of 10 people and maximum of 12 people. You just schedule it in advance with him, send him your groups details, he makes the menu and then on the day your group shows up and you just get to sit back and enjoy as your courses are brought out. The portion sizes are good. You will leave full. And it’s not crazy exotic unless you want it to be. If you want it to have steak, he can do that. If you want it to be vegetarian or vegan, he can do that to. It’s totally custom tailored to your group. He’s super flexible on days and times. You could do this as a work gathering, with family or friends, to celebrate something or just for the fun.

We've been hearin' and seein' good things about this place. Tried dropping by after work twice - good luck - place is packed, so definitely reserve. But before going, be sure to watch Chef Eric Smith's fb feed for what's new going into a given weekend. Ended up with Pad Thai with chicken from the menu , best I've had. Brussel sprouts (side on the menu) top-shelf! Great artistry and thought put into these plates. Glad to have experienced some of OKC's best.

First time at Pachinkos and it definitely did not disappoint. The pork belly wontons were incredible and the Seafood Stir fry was sensational. My wife and I decided this was our place for our anniversary and we couldn't have been happier.

Not very busy at all at 6:00pm on a Saturday evening, but nonetheless had a good experience. Sushi wasn’t the best in the city, but still pretty darn good. Decor was quite interesting but I enjoyed it. Service was very good.

Incredible food and atmosphere. Granted, I built the place and one of my best friends owns it, but it is trully unique. The food and service are impeccable. Every time I go back, it seems like the food gets better, and every time I leave, I can't imagine that it could. These are meals you think about for days after and you won't forget.

1. The main chef is a James beard award semi finalist 2. Top restaurant of of the year list 3. #6 dish dish in the US And it was really good!!!! My husband and I were taken back by how delicious the food was and how excellent the service was. Beau the bartender, while busy, made sure to make us feel welcome. The restaurant is seemingly a random place especially with the small parking lot, but once you enter you’re in a culinary paradise. Absolutely loved this place and highly recommend the chef tasting

Hands down one of the best meals and experiences we’ve ever had. The food is absolutely incredible. We started with shishito peppers and carpaccio, followed by the Smoking up Stream roll and the Patrick Bateman, then finished with the croissant French toast. The cocktails were also top notch! Our server A’dion was friendly, knowledgeable and gave the best descriptions and suggestions to help us make our decisions as first timers. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. We will be back for our anniversary in a few weeks and are already looking forward to it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (12/10, honestly) We went to The Crown in OKC for their Thursday night date night special, and it was AMAZING. The special included one sushi roll, a bottle of red or white wine, two chef’s special entrées, and dessert — which is already a great deal, but the experience took it to another level. The ambience was perfect — very close, intimate, and romantic. From the maître d’ to our server to the chef, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, which really made the night feel special for me and my date. We added the Crown Caesar salad, and wow… thin-sliced crisp lettuce, Asian Caesar dressing, rice noodles, and fried capers — it was so good and super unique. For sushi, we had the Spiral Roll with fried soft-shell crab. Fresh, crispy, flavorful — easily one of the best rolls I’ve had. Dinner was the beef stroganoff, and it was perfection. The mushrooms were cooked just right, the sauce was rich and comforting, the noodles were fresh, and the beef was so tender you could tell they really took their time with it. Then dessert… tres leches sweet potato cake — oh my God. I barely got a bite because my fiancé loved it so much 😂 It was unreal. All in all, this place is a 12 out of 10 across the board. Food, service, atmosphere — everything was on point. We will definitely be back, and I already want to try their $250 all-you-can-eat meal because that sounds incredible. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend for date night or special occasi

Had dinner there with three of my best friends last night. The food was absolutely amazing. It comes out in pretty good size portions especially the sushi, and we all had to get our food to go. Drinks were great and attention to detail with service was amazing as well. I had the 8 oz filet of beef with the black truffle potatoes, asparagus, and tempura bok choy. I have the appetizer of tuna tartare and my drink was the top shelf margarita.

There’s a reason The Crown made USA Today’s 2025 Restaurants of the Year list. The unassuming location on Western Ave might tempt you to think it’s just another average restaurant—it is anything but that. The cocktails are some of the best in town, the sushi is fresh, and the chef’s nightly specials are always on point. 😋 💯 The service at The Crown is absolutely impeccable, unmatched at even some of the highest end popular spots in this city. The staff enjoy creating a memorable experience for guests, even down to chef customizing a meal that you’d love. When you go, get the mezcal old fashioned (smoked with Palo Santo)—you won’t regret it. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Outstanding food and service. Unique, but very approachable fine dining. Can't wait to return and explore more of the menu. Chef Eric and his staff make you feel welcomed and they personalize the dining experience for the person and the occasion. A standout in the OKC dining seen IMHO

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here last night! It was amazing! Chef Eric is very innovative with the menu and it is just as delicious as it looks! All 3 courses were amazing and the portions were perfect! They surprised us each with a glass of champagne for our anniversary, which was lovely! The atmosphere is very intimate and unique and perfect for date night! I recommend making a reservation to guarantee a table or grab a spot at the bar. We will definitely be going back often!

There are restaurants with memorable meals. The Crown Room truly creates an unforgettable experience with a combination of superb food, excellent drink pairings, aromas and music. It really is an experience for your senses! A recent dinner we had with family was just brilliant! Every guest could not stop talking about the sophisticated food and event the dynamic drinks were a hit! The drinks change flavors as they sit and creating a new perspective with each sip! Hats off to Chef Eric and his amazing staff. We’ll definitely be back! If you have a small gathering of people special to you and want to share in a meal for your senses, you really should consider booking a private event today!

We had never been to the Crown Room but did for my birthday . The food was good but the friendliness of the entire staff was top tier. I left with the feeling that I would go back just because I knew from one experience that we would be welcomed back with a smile. Bravo on the atmosphere! Super impressed.

My friend and did the “I don’t give a f@%$” tasting menu and it did not disappoint! We managed to get through 5 savory courses and a dessert course. Each course was delicious and unique. I cannot speak more highly of the food or the experience we had at The Crown. The chef hand delivered most of the dishes, explained them and checked in on our experience throughout the night. This will probably be our go to for any special occasion going forward.

My wife and I really enjoy this place! Great food and atmosphere! The host and waitstaff are so inviting. We did the the I don’t give a F@$K and it didn’t disappoint! Chef Eric brings the A game in delivering unique flavorful dishes with a really fun experience. The drinks are great and the bartenders can do some interesting creations based on things you like to drink. We’ll be back again with friends and family!

This place was such a vibe for a date night. Despite the price, you can keep it casual and the team will make you comfortable. Chef Eric is a wizard with both savory and sweet flavors. We ordered the three course Chef’s choice meal with a drink pairing and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be a little adventurous. 10/10 would go again.

Unique, flavorful, and surprising. We stopped in for our first time not knowing just how creative the food would be. Both my wife and I were very impressed with Chef Eric’s Tuesday date night creation. Can’t wait to try more of their food in the future, wish we had tried Pachinko sooner.

Came here on date night. Drinks were strong, food was great - we did the appetizer sampler and a variety of sushi’s. We plan to come back and try more of the menu! Absolutely recommend trying this place out

This was my second time at The Crown and I was as equally delighted with the service and the food as my first visit. The menu was so diverse that I opted once again to do the tasting menu. Chef Eric never ceases to amaze me at his creativity! I’m gluten free and the food created was so flavorful and adventurous that I savored every bite! My salmon dish was perfectly cooked, the beef dish expertly seasoned, and the fried rice noodle dessert with ice cream reminded me of a childhood treat. I brought out of town friends (Dallas and Orlando area) and they were blown away by the food! Such a treat for the three of us!

Eric. Thank you so much for speaking to me. I have never, ever, ever had better food in my life. I took my leftovers home not because I was full, I just wanted to take a piece of your tasting menu with me. The only reason I am not uploading a picture is because my food is gone! edit: I am going back today. When I called, somehow they remembered me from my last reservation. I am so excited.

Such an incredible experience!! A friend and I shared the Surf and Turf with bok Choy, Brussel sprouts and potatoes gratinee. Oh my goodness!! (The potatoes were okay, but the rest was incredible!!). Definitely a delicious experience and a delight to meet Chef Eric!!

As I was flying into OKC, I asked Grok what the best sushi restaurants are in OKC. Grok nailed it! This place was amazing. The whole feel of the place in comforting but sophisticated with a subtle Japanese feel. The rolls were very unique and very good (Willie's Momma!!!). The Caesar Salad may have been the best caesar that I have ever had. Cant wait to go back and try the non-sushi entrees.

The food and ambience at The Crown is just on another level of out of this world! Just incredible. It is unmatched in Oklahoma City or anywhere I have been! Even the Caesar salad is an experience, let alone the pad thai or sea bass! The staff all go out of their way to make dinner a special and memorable experience. Just go, you definitely won't be disappointed!

We went to the crown last night for dinner based on a friend’s recommendation and had an amazing experience! We ordered a sushi roll and then both did the chef’s 3 course tasting menu. The chef talked with us about likes/dislikes and brought us out 3 delicious dishes. It was the best food we have had in the city and the experience was so fun and unique. The staff really wowed me and were all so hands on and friendly.

We chose the crown OKC for our Valentine date night dinner. We opted for the chef's tasting menu, and chef Eric came to our table to introduce himself and asked about our food preferences, likes, dislikes, allergies, etc. He created three separate courses for us, each very different from the last and every one of them was exceptional. I would venture to say it was the best meal we have had in OKC. Highly recommend this restaurant, and especially the chef's tasting menu.

A Regal Feast at The Crown: An Unforgettable Tasting Experience in Nichols Hills: In the heart of Oklahoma City’s upscale Nichols Hills neighborhood, The Crown stands as a beacon of culinary innovation, where Chef Eric Smith’s passion for elevated dining transforms a simple meal into a symphony of flavors. On a recent evening, my wife and I embarked on our inaugural visit to this gem, drawn by whispers of its all-you-can-eat tasting menu—a format that promises indulgence without the constraints of traditional à la carte selections. What unfolded was not merely a dinner, but a deeply personal and memorable gastronomic journey that set a new benchmark for fine dining in the region. From the outset, the experience was marked by an extraordinary level of hospitality. A midday call to secure our reservation connected me directly with Chef Smith himself, a rare touch that hinted at the intimacy to come. True to form, throughout the evening, the chef emerged from the kitchen multiple times, engaging us with insightful narratives behind each course. In a city where tasting menus abound—from the avant-garde offerings at Nonesuch to the seasonal elegance of Vast—we’ve seldom encountered such genuine, one-on-one interaction. Chef Smith’s enthusiasm was infectious, turning what could have been a standard service into a collaborative dialogue that enriched our appreciation of his craft. Turning to the star of the evening: the food itself. The tasting menu unfolded like a well-curated anthology, showcasing an exceptional array of dishes that balanced bold innovation with comforting familiarity. Each plate burst with vibrant tastes—think harmonious blends of seasonal ingredients, precise seasonings, and textural contrasts that lingered on the palate. What truly distinguished The Crown, however, was the generosity of portions; far from the diminutive bites often associated with tasting formats, these were substantial offerings, verging on full-sized entrées. This abundance allowed us to savor without restraint, elevating the “all-you-can-eat” concept from novelty to luxury. In an era where dining out seeks to blend spectacle with substance, The Crown delivers both in spades. For those seeking a special occasion or simply an escape into culinary excellence, we wholeheartedly recommend reserving a table under Chef Eric Smith’s watchful eye. Nichols Hills has a crown jewel indeed—one that merits repeated visits. Daniel Navejas

This was hands down one of the best meals and dining experiences we’ve ever had. The food was absolutely phenomenal! You could feel the passion behind every plate (we’re still thinking about “Willie’s Momma”… unreal pressed sushi roll). But what truly set the Crown apart was the service. It wasn’t just attentive, it was next level! Chef Eric stopped at every table multiple times throughout the evening. Not just to say hello, but to bring dishes, deliver drinks, and connect with guests. That kind of presence is rare, and it made the entire meal feel elevated yet incredibly personal. An unforgettable experience from start to finish. We will absolutely be back!!

Imagine this: a vibrant space alive with aromatic pairings tailored to each dish, moments of humor before every course, and food crafted to spark curiosity. Eclectic music sets the mood, stirring your soul as your taste buds delight in every bite. This is the magic Chef Eric Smith is weaving at “The Crown”. Chef Smith, a protégé of Chef Kurt Fleischfresser’s renowned apprenticeship program at “The Coach House”—which boasts direct ties to the legendary Paul Bocuse—brings a multi-sensory experience to life through “The Crown Room.” Atmosphere The Crown’s atmosphere is a vibrant mix of Japanese, 1930’s, and pop art infused with Gen X influences. The centerpiece is "The Crown Room," an intimate space featuring a striking wood and steel table that accommodates up to ten guests. Service The Crown’s main bartender, Beau, is one of its true gems. Having enjoyed drinks there prior to this dining experience. His craft and charm elevate the bar to another level. Chef Smith has assembled a team he affectionately refers to as “Misfits.” These individuals bring a unique beauty and authenticity to the service. Dining The Patrick Bateman with fried rice noodles, veal stock, wagyu tallow, diver scallops, beef tenderloin, and Togarashi. This surf and turf may not win beauty contests, but it’s undeniably delicious—a dish that would make David Chen proud. The scallop and tenderloin are cooked to perfection, with the rich, beefy notes of the tenderloin harmonizing beautifully with the scallop’s delicate sweetness, all rounded out by the nutty, buttery finish of brown butter. Caviar Pie (Amuse Bouche) toasted brioche, fried caper, shaved egg salad, nutmeg creme fraiche. The slightly tangy creamy egg salad compliments the decadent caviar, which bursts on the tongue as its briny, salty essence is released with each bite. Pottage with duck confit and phyllo-parsley “shingle” The velvety duck and vegetable soup offers subtle complexity, infused with the slightly sweet essence of root vegetables. The duck confit leg, accompanied by crispy duck skin, delivers both a satisfying crunch and indulgent rich flavor of duck. A phyllo square adds texture. However, the duck confit leans salty, occasionally overpowering the palate. Smoked Mussels & Fries with red butter lettuce, basil, vinaigrette, and quick pickled Korean Pears Another "ugly delicious" course boldly showcases smoked mussels—a daring and highly scrutinized choice. The dish opens with bright, tangy notes of vinaigrette that transition into the smoky depth of mussels, finishing with the comforting flavors of potato and the crisp freshness of flash-fried basil. Smoked mussels redefine the flavor profile. Fauxsso Buco with polenta cake, compressed garlic aromatic, vegetable demi, charred white asparagus. As you delve into the “marrow” or center of the seabass, a seafood mousse introduces a new layer of complexity, adding depth and dimension. The polenta cake, paired with tangy crème fraîche, provides a contrasting texture and flavor, while the asparagus is firm and decadently prepared. Croissant French Toast with sweet mascarpone, blackberry-vanilla puree, salty maple shake. The dish shines when the cold milkshake is poured over the warm toast, creating a nostalgic blend of peanut butter, raspberry, and blackberry with a delightful temperature contrast. However, some bites felt oily, and the milkshake alone was cloyingly sweet. Summary Innovation in the culinary arts often translates to high risk, high reward. Sometimes, we aim for the stars and hope to hit the moon. There’s no denying Chef Smith’s mad genius and brilliance—not just in crafting The Crown Room dining experience but in his overall approach to food. What truly sets Chef Smith apart is his ability to take these influences and shape them into something uniquely his own—a dining experience that engages all five senses and creates lasting memories. The Crown Room delivers on its promise: a daring culinary journey that pushes boundaries and reshapes expectations of what fine dining can be. Until next time—let’s eat.

There was an issue with our reservations for some reason. The hostess seemed confused & nervous when greeting us. For the price, I expected the food to be spectacular. It just did not meet our expectations for the price. However, the Lychee martini was amazing & our server was great. Sushi was “okay”. We had the Crown roll, I had the Platter, & my husband’s entree PACHINKOPADTHAI with chicken. His noodles & chicken were very dry. The Platter was definitely not worth the price for the size of the 4 pieces you get.

We have eaten here 20 times. Was fantastic food and now a disaster of management. Delayed service, forgotten drinks, forgotten appetizers and no apologies related to the poor service.

A
Abid Rehman

ChatGPT recommended the place so we ended up here for my wife's birthday dinner. Ordered 'Sample Platter' with 3 appetizers and Surf Surf Turf as main. Ordered some sushi on the side as well. Sushi was good. Sample platter (fifty fifty - half of the stuff was good). The real disappointment was Surf Surf Turf. Steak was fine but the other two items (fish and 10 shrimps) were extremely salty. I don't it was a mistake or that is how they do the dish. We couldn't finish the food. For $200, we expect better.

J
J Payne

Don’t - that’s my best advice. Beginning with no greeting from multiple staff when entering to very disappointing drinks that we were charged for even though we didn’t drink them and asked to be taken back to a really bad wine list all at a premium price. Food ranged from good to ok to meh. Photo shown of appetizers was good. Do - spend your valuable time with family and friends eating elsewhere.

M
Maria Gonzalez

Let me preface this review by saying the food is amazing! Chef Eric's creations are absolutely fabulous! We have eaten here many times, and never experienced service that was this bad! The service we received tonight was horrible! First of all, we arrived on time for our reservation, but waited over 25 minutes for our table. We were okay with that given it's NYE, and crap happens. We enjoyed our time at the bar while we waited. But once we sat down, the server/manager completely ignored us. We sat for over 20 minutes with no drinks and no service. When he FINALLY showed up, I had to ask him what the specials were for the evening, he never said anything about it, just asked "so what do you want?". But I noticed he was very attentive with everyone else except us. I have to wonder why?? Our food and drinks were delayed, delayed and delayed. Literally waited over 20 minutes for a drink. I can understand that on NYE usually things are slow but not that slow! Also, I have to say that when there are ONLY 7 tables in the whole restaurant, the delay and being ignored is very noticeable and unreasonable. Chef Eric is amazing, but perhaps Michael needs to have some lessons in how to be a good server and just common courtesy for the customers. Having said all that our meal (as always) was great, LOVE the food.
