Belated review based on my last visit. It's buffet style food, so wasn't expecting Michelin style food. But what you can get is plentiful, and properly cooked. Place was busy, but staff always friendly with a smile, and asking if U want refills. It's blue collar atmosphere with blue collar prices. No pretence, just good food at cheap prices. No $50 steaks here! I ate til full, drank soda til refreshed, and visited multiple times during my stay! I now consider it part of my Florida vacation routine!

I’ve seen some people mention having negative experiences, but mine was very good that day — maybe it just depends on the time you visit. We stopped by Golden Corral for breakfast on a Saturday morning and were pleasantly surprised — especially considering the price was only $15 per person. The food was fresh and plentiful, and lots of items tasted great. My absolute favorite item was the pork chop. It was perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside and tender, juicy, and flavorful on the inside. The omelet station was also a highlight with fresh, made-to-order options. Our server did a wonderful job checking on us, clearing plates, and making sure we had everything we needed.

Selection is good and price is appropriate for what you get. We paid $52 for two persons with drinks and kids under 3 eat free. The steak where they grill it on the spot can be very dry. The Salad bar has great selection. Lots of meat options, however, at some point you need to wait long for the kitchen staff to slice a piece for you or else you’re not gonna be able to get it. Our server is a sweet lady from Morocco, and also the they only accept Cash Tips, there is an ATM inside that you can withdraw. Not the best idea because you can be charged extra in the machine for withdrawing just to give the server tip. Hopefully they can do debit for that too because mostly don’t carry cash nowadays.

We went for dinner than next day for breakfast. Only because it was convenient for everyone in our group. We thought everyone would be able to get what they wanted. Food wasn't that good. The sausage gravy was extremely runny. The pancakes were like rubber and tasted bad. French toast tasted like stale bread! The sausage links were disgusting! And pink in the middle! Wasn't a huge selection for breakfast. We were visiting from out of town and thought they would be a good place to satisfy everyone's wants. Kinda.

Not really a fan. The food wasn’t that great and I was honestly expecting more. I know it’s meant to be a cheaper buffet, but even then the food felt very plain Jane. The best part was the salads we made ourselves lol. Our server was great, just clearly very busy.

I can sure tell the difference between a corporate Golden Corral like this one and a franchise location like the one we live close to on Memorial Drive in west Jacksonville Florida. We came in for breakfast this morning before heading home and willingly paid over $30 for two people. We asked if they cooked eggs to order and the cashier said, "let's make sure we have eggs." What? It's 9 o'clock in the morning. There's less than 20 customers here and she didn't know if they had eggs?! I got oatmeal and asked for brown sugar. They said they don't have any. We ordered coffee and asked for creamer. They said they don't have any; that we would have to have milk instead. I selected the spinach quiche but it was spoiled and I spit out my first bite. The fried chicken wasn't cooked thoroughly enough. It's now an hour later and this place is still not full. The locals obviously know that this is not a quality breakfast location. I wouldn't want to return for any other meal nor suggest it to anyone visiting from out of town or local.

Another budget find in Orlando that will certainly fill your emptiest belly. While the spread is fresh and generous, at this price point it is expected that the ingredients are of lower quality and there is plenty of cheap meats, fried stuff, carbohydrates and sugars to go around. Service is quick and friendly.

Golden Corral is a great place to eat it. I’ve been to several in different states but, this one disappointed me a bit. Pricing per person is higher compared to other locations which is understandable. The steak portions provided are a joke. Extremely small, thin. Other golden corrals give you a nice size piece of steak. Outside of the food, this place really makes you feel claustrophobic which is a downside. Staff is friendly.

The buffet at this Golden Corral did not taste great. The presentation of the buffet looked nice but some of the foods tasted like it was reheated from yesterday and not freshly cooked for that day. The fried foods tasted as if it was cooked from used oil with other foods (e.g., the fried okra, fried fish & fried chicken. etc.). The salad & soup bar did not taste or look fresh along with the desserts. Some of dining tables were not clean before seating. The apple & orange juice fountain shuts down by 11 am. If you want to finish up your drink to go, you are now charged extra if you want a to go cup. They were short of waitresses, so the waitresses that were there was trying to do their best in waiting on everyone. I’m not too sure how soon I’ll be coming back to this Golden Corral but it won’t be anytime soon.

the lights were so blue and bright shining into my skull like some hospital lights. but some of the food was actually really good! fried chicken was great the server, i think her name may have been irene, seemed sweet at first but then said some incredibly disrespectful unprofessional comment to us when we couldn't leave her a tip because we didn't bring cash
