The employee was nice,we did the drive up menu.We received our shakes/blasts quickly.The cheesecake shake had artificial flavor,the chocolate chunk brownie blast had barely any brownie.Dont need to go back.

This has to be the most junkiest hood as sonic I’ve ever been to this place looks like a dump half of the speakers work drive-through window and speaker. Can’t hardly hear anything out of looks completely rundown.

The customer service was good. Fast and efficient. However the burger was horrible and cold and the motzeralla sticks had no cheese, I ttty was all burned up. Icky. Wont be back.

We have some relatives in Pittsburg who were craving sonic while shut in. They were recently injured in an accident. So we ordered for them here from Houston while coordinating a friend to pick up and deliver. The order was “nasty” compared to what they usually received themselves. So when you think about ordering here for some incapacitated loved ones…or yourself for that matter, you’d better think twice

Ordered all American Hot Dog and got Chili cheese, ordered large fries, got medium. Speakers are horrible and mic doesn’t pick up what you say, had to repeat my order 2 times and still got what they wanted to serve me, not what I asked.

If you eat-in, they still give you your order in a ToGo bag... pretty tacky! The Chicago Dog was luke warm and the fries about the same. Never say never but, probably not going back anytime soon.

We were really hungry so we stopped by.. first time trying Sonic.. my husband was really excited to try the New York hot dog.. he really likes sauerkraut and a good all beef hot dog.. but that's not what he received.. they were all out of sauerkraut and he said the hot dog texture was mushy with no snap.. Next time I will take him to get a Casper dog..

The only reason it gets 2 stars is the girl at the counter was nice and polite. Otherwise, the food was terrible bun was crushed to about 1/16 of an inch. Fries had some taste like soap or something.

Food is great, but overall customer service and staff's knowledge is lacking. From the times we've gone and what we've experienced, the staff isn't very well trained and some aren't even knowledgable of their own menu. We were in a car park and were asking for one item menu, which we had just ordered the day before, and were told by the employee that they had never sold such an item. When manager came in, the item was added to the screen in less than two seconds. Also, staff always seem to be very over-worked, which, coming from my point-of-view on foodservice, seems like management isn't very good at staffing properly. Be prepared to spend a long time here. We were in the car stall waiting pretty much two hours for two ice creams. What a wait! And after that, the order was wrong. I almost didn't want to return. The connections between the stall screens and the cash registers seem to lag. One time, our screen displayed the customer next to us's order. Also; don't bother "checking in online". That was a whole 'nother 1.5 hour ordeal. I'm honestly very disappointed. I've never had a Sonic in my area, and I was so excited when this one was built. The hellstorm experiences I've had here so far make me doubt if I'll ever return again. Maybe I'll give it a year; they're still new, so maybe they just need some time to get proper staff and management going.

Sonic in Pittsburg is horrible. This is what a 5 piece Chicken strips meal looks like. Also the shake was warm not cold...and the 2 red bull slushies were like drinking water. No thank you Pittsburg store. Other Sonics are great not this one.

Absolutely not one customer. Bought a kids meal two triple smash burger, combos, a double smash burger, combo and mozzarella sticks and onion rings. The food did take about 40 minutes in the drive-through to be prepared. They forgot to give me my mozzarella sticks once received and made it home the mozzarella sticks had absolutely no cheese inside and was very hard. The onion rings was very hard my 3 kids, my mother-in-law and husband ate the food and literally was on the toilet all night and all day the next day mother-in-law went to the hospital because of stomach cramps do not eat at sonic well at least not this sonic they have no customers for a reason. My 2 year old keeps using it and does not have an appetite. I have to take him to the doctors as well and please moms don’t make this mistake of fast food because it’s convenient or you out and about for our babies little tummy’s. Fast food will disappoint you everytime happy 2026!

Started ordering my food at the outside pull up and park menu, before I could even finish saying what I want, I was cut off with "Anything Else", multiple times. So many times to the point where I told the young man, "Yes just give me a second please!" When he brought my food out,I asked was he the one who took my order, because I felt very rushed and talked over. His reply "Yeah I took your order, and that's not what I did, that's how you took it. Sorry you feel that way." As he walks away, I check my food and the order wasn't even correct, after asking me 10x "Anything Else"

I drove from Concord to Pitsburg to buy my daughter some toys to complete her Bad Guys collection at this location but Brian came out from the back door asking if I was going to make an order. I shared with him that I wanted to buy the toys my daughter didn't have yet to avoid repeating the toys yet he said he couldn't sell them to me separately even after expressing I would pay for them. It was a little frustrating because I love doing this with my daughter, as she loves collecting toys of the movies that come out. I had never encountered this experience before. Other places usually sell them with no problem. Unfortunately, I will not come back here and visit a different location to continue our search.

I didn't know what I was in for when I drove to this Sonic, since I'm not from the area. I can easily state that the one in Hayward is more organized and doesn't skimp on portions—most of the time. When I ordered 2 Fritos Chili Cheese Wraps, they were wrapped in this weird small, rectangular ball, half the size of what it's supposed to be. And I had to wait over 20 minutes for my order to be ready... I saw that the restaurant's stalls were filled with cars, and I thought that was a good sign that the restaurant is busy, but it seems more like a bad sign that the restaurant was incompetently run and orders were fulfilled inefficiently because of disorganization. Those wraps are a result of incompetence. Also, one of the stalls looked pretty broken and in disrepair, owing to the restaurant's lack of upkeep. I don't plan on coming back to this location anymore. Don't go to this location.

Patty and bun over cooked. Chicken looked depressed, looks like a tongue , kinda cute but not something that looks tasty, fries are super cold, so was the cheese sticks , was like rubber... Super gross... On top of that. They no longer have Chicago dogs, and that's the only thing I like their behinds cheese sticks and grape slushy. They slush wasn't in a styrofoam cup anymore. Which keeps it cold longer. Never again. One in Stockton is much better. Hubby said only thing good on his patty was the tomato was fresh.

My kids had been excited to finally get a Sonic in the area. Today we finally went. We opted to go through the drive-thru. Boy, what a disappointment..after a long wait finally paid and had to wait another 10 minutes at the window. As we drove off I handed out the food. I paid almost $6 for two large french fries, they looked like someone had already ate out of them. Portion size was so disappointing. All the burgers we're dry and the french fries seemed to have been sitting there forever. They we're dry and without flavor. You would have thought since it had recently just opened and with the large amount of people ordering, the food would have been fresher. No ketchup and not 1 napkin was given. 😡 Just opened up the grilled cheese, at least that is what they call it.
