I'm blown away by the app rewards i keep getting free items of food with no purchase necessary and there's even merchandise and the chance to win a cruise...i want the vice city looking shorts, tommy vercetti shorts they look cool! But i also want something that shows the whataburger logo or more direct logo design rep... But those wavy blue... They blew my mind

Surprisingly, this has been one of the better Whataburger joints I've been to locally. Overall the service is great, the quality of the food and the restaurant itself is always clean and well kept. They took a little bit longer with my food but threw in an extra chicken strip which to be honest made up for it quick! Great job folks! Keep up the good work!

The workers are always ready to assist you, by providing a great service, recomendations for those picky eater or those questioning their crave. As always the food is made to your likely and with your favorite extras. The price is decent for what your getting. The restaurant is always clean when I go, which is usually in the evenings or nights and you always being greeted by the front persons which add a great feeling to your day.

The whataburger on Hunter is my favorite because everything is fresh and made correctly

This was my first time at Whataburger. I ordered the regular burger with fries. The burger was really good except for I wasn’t a big fan of the barn. The buns seem very plain and bland. The burger at South was OK. The fries however were amazing they came out fresh and I’m perfectly salty. One of the workers gave me catch up and I had a drink with everything. This location is very clean and well put together. The order came out within five minutes and it came right to my table. The bathroom was clean and was well stocked. Whataburger wouldn’t really be my first choice for a fast food burger but for what it’s worth it is an OK option. The menu is simple and straightforward. The employees are nice and treated me with respect. This location is right off of the highway in El Paso.

I came in for a salad; the apple cranberry salad. There were two little hiccups, ( my salad had no apples, and I got the wrong dressing) the team quickly and courteously assisted me. From 79928 to 79905, the drive is worth it because my food is never undercooked, or anything and if there is an issue, it is addressed promptly. This Whataburger has some of the most respectful group of people. No eyes rolling or faces like at other Whataburgers. Thank you.

Good quality food for the price and very friendly staff that helped me navigate the menu! I ordered the patty melt which I added the green hatch chilies too, onion rings, and a vanilla malt shake. The burger tasted really good, flavorful, and those green chilies with the cheese and the onions made it extra savory. I love the crisp onion rings not too much breading so I actually got to save her the onions and I like the spicy ketchup as my dipping sauce and my malt was on a point, they were out of the strawberry, but I’m glad I still ended up getting a milkshake because it was much needed after a long day as a nightcap. I would definitely recommend Whataburger for those that haven’t tried, and even those that are just looking for a good quality hamburger that won’t break the bank on even given night.

For me, the best "chain" burgers there are. Food is always tasty, like it's been freshly done. The onion rings are delicious. And there are many options, if you don't like beef... For me, it's a green Chile cheeseburger. Try it.

I love whataburger no matter which you go to! A little crowded with High School students from a track meet but otherwise can't complain.

Place is okay, while it has definitely seen a ton of foot traffic, and there are tons of places with better, more succulent burgers, there's nothing better that replaces biting into that juicy burger that's full of comfort...it's just gratifying. Tried the new chili cheeseburger...it's just not for me.

Tried the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and it was alright. I got some ranch and buffalo on the side and it tasted better that way. My favorite is still the #5 Bacon Cheeseburger.

I stopped in Wednesday 01/29/2025 around 0630. Going through the drive-thru the young man could not understand me, and I'm not really sure why, I speak pretty clearly. I repeated myself probably at least four times and I thought he understood. When I got to the drive-thru window I paid him cash and did not give me my change right away. He walked away I probably waited another 10 minutes in the drive-thru for them to make two chorizo egg and cheese taquitos. In high school I worked for Whataburger so I know how fast it is to make those it doesn't take that long not to mention they're literally was nobody there besides maybe one other patron. Finally a young lady comes to the window with my food and a friendly nice smile. At this point I honestly forgot about my change. When I got home I started to wonder if this is something that the young man does and pockets the money. It wasn't a lot of money maybe a dollar but still if you do that enough especially when people are going there cuz they're open 24 hours and they've been drinking I can see how one can make some money. My order was kind of accurate.. I wanted two taquitos and one jalapeno. I got two taquitos one had plenty of chorizo The other had barely any and two jalapenos. It may have been an honest mistake. Just seemed shady.

After running some errands, driving towards home, we noticed that big W beacon in the sky. We decided to drop in and ordered take out, but walked inside. We ordered the new menu item called, Whatawings. These are an order of 10 boneless chicken wings, tossed in some Whataburger buffalo sauce, (they offer many different flavors & heat) served with ranch, or blue cheese, for your dipping pleasure. The Whatawings were finger licking good, I was pleasantly surprised, and I would most definitely recommend you trying them for yourselves. They were so good, we ate them before we made it home, hence no photos to show, sorry.

Food as usual good, except the dry grease soaked fried pie. I used app to pick up, after 10 min, I went into store to pick up my order. Place was not that busy, my name was flashing on the sign saying 11 min past! What's is the point of ordering, manager who handed me food said nothing, not even thanks. Ugh!!!!

I miss the old Whataburger where Wednesday you get one free burger when you buy one. I miss the fact the fries were about 6 inches when you ask for a large fries.. today it took the staff with cold fries to get my order almost 30 minutes. So this experience is just from this one location on Paisano by Bowie. If you are craving some Whataburger I suggest going a little further. This location has the same great food as the other locations and the staff is nice but the atmosphere is not it. Went during dinner but I guess a game had just ended at the high school so all the kids were there. The place was packed and I chose a single table by the door. I had barely received my food when I felt someone hovering over me, I looked back and it was a gentleman in his 50s who asked me to "move" very rudely that because I was in a handicap seat. I looked down and he was right, so I didn't say anything just got up and left and ate my food at a near by park. There was other handicap seats where people had already finished eating, and the way he told me rather than ask politely I didn't care for. That's why I can't knock the food or workers just the atmosphere.

The food is good ...when they make it right...."when" they make it right. Which is about 70% of the time. However the last time was horrible. Way overcooked the patties to the point where the edges were crunchy and gave me mayo instead of mustard.... couldn't eat it. But when they make it right it's definitely worth it.

I don't know why their chorizo taquitos don't taste like the other Whataburgers' I had them make them again and they still tasted more like sausage taquitos.

Food took a while to get to us and hashbrowns were burnt. Coffee cups are flimsy

Ordered ahead in the app for curbside pickup, waited an extra twenty minutes. Called and asked if my food was ready, it was and they just didn’t bother to care to bring it out. It wasn’t even a big order for them to take that long to be honest. It wasn’t even busy inside and there wasn’t anyone in the drive thru.

The two stars are for the way the hamburger was assembled, the lettuce piled on one side, the tomato slices pile on the opposite side and the mustard concentrated in one spot. Too bad, the hamburgers there are always great but not this time. And what's up with the long wait? Every time we go there the waiting gets longer and longer. We actually notice cars in the drive through line driving away

I come in so that there's no chance to mess up my order. I order a #1 with cheese with Annette at the register. Pretty simple...right? Nope...#1 no cheese. I take it back..they just slap on the cheese and changed the wrapper to yellow. Not even a sorry.

Working on a night crew, at 3:30am, in front of the only open business. Female road worker, needed to use restroom, was told no. I understand policies, I was hoping for human kindness. Nope not from Whataburger. I will never give them any of my money again.

I asked for no onions and ever time they mess up their lines take forever and the food isn't good don't waste your time here go somewhere else the only I can think is good from there is there shakes.

So, I went in and ordered a salad, fries and a cup of coffee. The girl who took my order asked me if I wanted chicken and I said no. She gave me my change in nickels and I said it was okay because I am a nice person. They then left the fries out of my order. The girl who had taken my order said, " I did not charge you for the fries, do you want me to charge you for them?" I said yes, paid for the fries, and waited patiently for my them. I did not complain, because I am a nice person. I then got home to discover there was a dead chicken on my salad. I have been a vegetarian for 45 years. I don't eat chicken. I had to walk 4 blocks back. They corrected the order and tried to compensate me with free pie. I cannot eat fast food pies as they are not vegetarian. I am a nice person, put I have limits. I am a vegetarian for ethical reasons and when you put meat in my food, it is very upsetting because I cannot eat it and it just wastes it. I am begging you to explain to your employees what a vegetarian is.

Wow... so I placed an order for a single combo nothing else added to it and it took over 15 minutes. That is ridiculous. I was the first car in drive through and very few people in dine in. I honestly thought they had forgotten about my order until they finally brought it out. I checked to see after that if they were short staffed to see maybe that might be the reason but no, over staffed and still took them over 15 minutes to get a single combo out. At the very least the fries were hot but burger cold. What happened? I miss the old crew you guys had. I'm not sure if it's management or what but something is now off and now you need to have time to wait at a fast (slow in this instance) food place.

So they took super long to give me my order. A customer behind me got there order before me. I saw 2 manager and to regular employees just sitting talking not helping drive thru. The girl in drive thru walking out to hand out the orders had no sense of Urgency, and to top it off she touched everything .. on the way out and back in. The trash the wall and of course the door. Like really you handing food out and your touching everything 🤦‍♀️. Just sucked.

This was a sad trip. I had been told by so many of friends in Texas and out on the West Coast that this place was one of the best places to get a burger ever. I was lied to. As i'm sure you'll be able to tell from the photos, the burgers were put together lazily without any real effort, they were VERY salty, and the quality and caring of the employees there was very low in general. I am hoping this was a one off, but I am very hesitant to try another Whataburger after this experience.

Employees and managers at this location report students from mexico and migrants to Border Patrol regularly despite receiving their business, laughing as they get sent away with whataburger cups in hand. Food is never up to whataburger standard. Horrible location. Don’t bother visiting.

Waited 35 min in drive thru and still had order wrong

This whataburger is terrible. They read me back my order and it was correct. When I got home 3 out of our 4 orders where wrong. I called and told them and they said they would review the cameras to see if it was made wrong and call me back they never got back to me. I don’t understand why management just doesn’t care. I could hear the worker tell the manager do I tell her we will review the cameras. Never heard back.

whoever hires the employees there needs to be fired. I can never get an order complete. I'm always either missing a burger or fries and they still charge me for it. and when I go back they get mad cause of their mistakes. the employees barely speak English and they always get the order wrong. the manager victor carrasco doesn't have any kind of manager skills. don't go to this whataburger trust me. very disappointing.

Our food was cold we lasted 45 minutes in the drive thru and the drive thru girl gave our food to someone else we had to wait even longer and all we got was a #2 and a Regular Whataburger just the burger the manager David went out and couldn't even explain why we waited we ended up giving our food to our dogs. 20 min wait for an order at 6:30 am, i had to repeat my order 3 times and was first told that there wasn't any ranch and then that there was so i went ahead and ordered a ranch and a buffalo. 15 minutes in and the lady tells me that there wasn't any ranch and asked if i wanted to get jalapeno ranch instead, i said no and then i asked how much longer my order would take and she said she would be right back, the cook came up to the window and i asked the same thing and she just closed the window without giving an answer. I received my order and the ranch and the buffalo were inside of the taco i ordered and i asked if i could get a little cup of the ranch since they had put some inside and she said no and turns out they put jalapeno ranch in. I asked for a cup of buffalo because i had asked for it on the side not inside and the cashier first said no until i explained and she gave it to me. Food was okay but very poor service.

The children running this establishment have no clue what's going on and after waiting 45 minutes to get no food and a refund that will take 3 business days. Zero organization.

Do not go here.. service is horrible. I was the only one there in the drive thru and I waited 15 min for 1 meal and then when I got it, it was burnt, not charred, but burnt like it had been sent to hell and back, so I asked them to remake it and waited another 25 min. The customers inside also seemed to have problems as I saw many burgers taken up to the front. Tip for them: make the food right the first time and you won't be so backed up by constantly remaking food. Tip for customer's: avoid this place like the plague. Original ticket time was 3:26, didn't get my finished order till 4:06.. but at least they ended that interaction with a "sorry for the wait"

I went to this restaurant late night and ordered a green Chile burger meal when I got home I started to eat my burger and I felt something oddly crunchy between my green Chile ... it was a cockroach I went back and demanded money back and to speak to higher ups all I got was to leave a review on their complaint website I never got a call from their cooperate office OR THEIR MANAGER NOTHING !! Iam very traumatized and can never eat another burger ever again I do not recommend going to any of their locations near here as they all have a roach problem and are trying to keep it under wraps hence their offices or management not contacting me.

Ordered 2 sausage biscuit meals and another meal, only got 2 of the 3 drinks and 2 of the hash brown orders, unfortunately didnt notice until the delivery driver left and couldn't go back. I’ve been to this location many times. First time I experienced dissatisfaction. I tried to purchase my meal through the app. First, the scanner didn’t work, they needed to swap it, second, the employee “Nohemi”, was very incompetent at her job; couldn’t make a simple transaction. I decided to leave because another guest, got impatient and decided to skip me and ask for their order, and the same employee was about to help him instead of finishing my order.

I used to be a manager and a trainer, this location is so slow, I swear all that I hear them do is mess around each other while the grey shirts are smoking just to deal with the fact that they don't know what they’re doing, I mean I tested this theory by JUST ordering a bbq strip sandwich and it took them 13 minutes, thats worse that mcdonalds on a holiday

I am a Uber eats driver. I went there today to get a order for a3 customer and waited over 45 mins. I never got the order because they were ignoring me. I asked several times for my customers order. But got ignored by the employee there, This is the worst Whataburger in El Paso for service . I won't go there ever again to pickup a order. So beware delivery drivers you are in for a long wait. This is a lame place to get food.

I came in at 10:50 PM on 03/02/2026 and placed my order by 10:54 PM. I ordered a plain chicken sandwich, add bacon and cheese. While waiting in the lobby, the place was very filthy — trash overflowing, tables and seats dirty, and multiple employees playing around in the lobby instead of cleaning or helping customers. What concerned me most was the kitchen staff using the same single pair of gloves to make food, pick things up, throw trash away, touch the registers, and handle cash. That is extremely unsanitary. By 11:10 PM, I finally received my sandwich — and it was wrong. It had tomatoes, lettuce, and a lot of sauce, and no bacon or cheese. I went back to the counter with my sandwich and my receipt, and instead of simply fixing it, the employee kept questioning me with things like:“Did you tell them?”“Were you charged for it?”“So this isn’t your sandwich?” …as if I wasn’t standing there with the sandwich and the receipt in my hand. After waiting again, it’s now 11:30 PM and my remake gets handed to another family. They realize it’s not theirs and are asked to open the sandwich to check it. After that, the staff took the sandwich back and tried to give it to me. That is completely unacceptable and unsanitary. When I asked for a refund for the entire order, the crew was laughing and saying I was “doing too much.” This was one of the most unprofessional and unsanitary fast-food experiences I’ve had.Long wait, wrong order, dirty lobby, unsafe food handling, and staff that clearly did not take the situation seriously.
