The food here is amazing. The girls are really nice and they’ll take good care of you and if you’re having a bad day, they’ll hook you up or make you feel at home if any other Taco Bell that you went to gave you the ew, this place won’t!!
I recently ordered takeout from Taco Bell, and it was a good experience overall. The ordering process was simple, and my food was ready quickly. The staff was friendly, and the food was packed well, so everything stayed warm and fresh. I especially enjoyed the tacos and nachos—they were flavorful and satisfying. However, I did notice that the portions were a bit smaller than expected. Overall, though, Taco Bell is a solid choice for quick, tasty takeout!
An order was incorrectly filled so after calling and being to far away to bring it back the took down my information and made the order again upon visiting and the staff was friendly and kind. They are also hiring for those who are going/attending college and offer them an 1000 dollar scholarship.
Taco bell is taco bell, but I've never had issues with this location. Very good with order accuracy and their freeze machines are always working. Yum yum
I'm ecstatic that there's finally a Taco Bell on Lyell Ave near me. I've never had any problems with service or food and I want to mention one employee in particular. Her name is Jennifer and she works the early evenings. She's so positive and always happy and does her job professionally, with pride and a fantastic attitude. All the employees are awesome but she's your Ace in the hole!
This TacoBell is by far my favorite. Grandma (Shelly) and Tyrique make the experience 10x better. She is the sweetest person ever and is always in a good mood!! Tyrique is a vibe and gets along well with all customers!!

Sometimes they forget items but stuff happens. It's all good. Better than some of the other locations

Every single thing I ate looked like this. This used to be my favorite taco bell and they closed they re opened today and it doesn't look good. My quesidlla was chicken not steak like I ordered. Sour cream was in One giant glob on 25% of my soft taco Supreme. I asked for fire sauce and got mild and hot. My chicken Chipotle melt weren't even rolled and the food was smeared over the wrapper. Atleast they gave me my chips and nacho cheese sauce right 🤦 I really hope this I'd a re open thing cause wow this was the worst taco bell order Ive ever got 😥 I have it another try and got two nacho cheese dips with maybe 1oz total of cheese sauce 🤦🤦🤦
They are VERY slow here!! Drive through line to pick up online order took an hour to get through. Yes, an HOUR. The food was mediocre, at best. There was not much meat in either the chicken tacos, or the cheesey gordita crunch. The sauce on the cheesey gordita crunch was nearly non-existent. The food was barely warm as if it had been sitting for a while. Avoid this location!
The store is clearly understaffed, every time I come in for orders it takes 20 minutes or more and they have one person making endless pickup orders by herself. Unacceptable
"No Pickup Times Available" Please use our cumbersome drive thru voice chat that always tries to upsell you on everything. Take a lesson from McDonald's: I want to roll up, identify myself, get my food, and leave. It's a shame because the breakfast burritos are awesome.
I keep giving this location a chance but I have been in the drive thru window 25 mins (from order to window). I got 1 item and a soda. There are 5 employees inside doing nothing. I got a grilled cheese burrito. It had no cheese on the outside.
I only come here once every few months and the drive through service is extremely slow. You’ll be waiting at least 10 minutes if not more before you make it to the order screen, and there’s always 5+ cars waiting. Absolutely ridiculous wait times for a “fast food” place. The food is usually as expected but every time I’m in the drive through I question if I should just go else where. Edit: got to the window and the lady running it said they’re short staffed. Yet saw two employees standing there talking and doing nothing. Won’t be back.
Ordered food off the app and went to pick it up at the market place drive taco bell. Waited almost an hour in the drive through just to get food. Everytime I've gone there lately my order has been missing items and I'm waiting more than 25 minutes for my food. All the upgrades that I've done to my food, like adding extra toppings, haven't been added but was charged for it. Won't be going there again any time soon.
This location has been here as long as I have lived in Rochester- close to 25 years. They used to have a part of Pizza Hut inside and my children loved options of both. I don’t visit much since they lost the Pizza Hut franchise inside. The tacos have always been pretty consistent in how they are made and taste, until recently. Since about 2020, we rarely visit. The quality of the food has gone down significantly. The food is never hot. My order is missing things more times than not. We ordered tacos last time and there seriously was mostly just lettuce. A few shreds of cheese and maybe 2 teaspoons of meat- which is just a soy protein now. It doesn’t even taste like beef and it’s super rubbery. The cost has gone up but the quality down. I don’t know that we will be back. They did bring back the Mexican pizza which my family likes. They bring back the cheesy fries from time to time. Wish they would just keep some of the traditional items…..they would have more customers.

First of all me and a family member went here. I was very hungry and I wanted the five layer beefy burrito in the $9 box. It was late and I asked her for that burrito, and this girl put in the 5 layer bean burrito. So my family member called her out and clarified 3 times. This girl said "Relax Mam" and I was like I am "relaxed you relax" and she said "no you relax have a good night". POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. If your employees are giving attitude they need to be checked. Customers can give attitude because the customer is always right. I ENDED UP ORDERING NO FOOD. Please Taco Bell train employees on customer service 🥺. I was being polite I don't know why I was treated this way. Made me very sad. It was a late night I was tired and I didn't even get to eat what I wanted. I don't need attitude, or sass, just kindness. I corrected you on your mistake, all you had to do was say thank and move on. I am willing to come back, I go here a lot, but the service is not as great as the food.
Third time in a row that I've went through drive-thru and some punk acts like he's doing me a favor by taking my money. Also had four cars behind me And could not check my order. Missing food as always. I know it's considered city Even though it's on the edge of the suburbs, but that gives no reason for people to act like trash. Will never return.
Waited 10 minutes at window 1 to pay for order, no one there. Then At second window lady wanted me to start over and go back if line to take payment. When I told her I couldn't do that late for work because it took 20 minutes at this point, she was hostile and when food was ready three the food bag at me even though I was polite and said thank you. I’ve never written a review in my life, but after having to wait at the speaker for over 20 minutes hearing nothing but laughing and chatting in the background after being told numerous times to please hold, I was definitely going to write one. There were angry people in the line honking and yelling which led to a vehicle rear ending another vehicle in the line. It then took 20 MORE minutes of sitting in the same spot after telling them I was there for a DoorDash order just for the line to move up by a singular vehicle, mind you the DoorDash order had only x2 items in it. By the time I got up to the window almost an entire hour later, I was told to wait again for another 15-20 minutes! I watched the employees through the window as they continued leaving their positions and screwing around, I watched 2 people with no uniform which I assume were employees that had to be off the clock walk behind the counter and distract the employees while getting food and drinks for themselves. Thinking the DoorDash order was complete, one employee comes to the window and is more concerned about what’s going on in the line than clearing it, then proceeds to walk away and make me wait again. I’ve never been negatively impacted as a DoorDasher and this one simple order brought my statistics down dramatically. I’ve been going to this Taco Bell for years and the service just keeps getting worse and worse. Don’t get me wrong, the food and service is amazing only when they actually have people that care about quality and efficiency, but I can’t remember the last time I had a good experience because I know I would remember it. This took place on October 2nd after 12am all the way up until almost 2am
Ordered from them twice in the same day. Drive thru both times. First time I ordered tacos with double meat and got tacos with barely any meat. Second time I ordered two of their new quesadillas and they gave me one and an an empty quesadilla wrapper. I can only presume the employees are really hungry but don't have money so they give the customers half of what they order and eat the rest. I can't believe it's an odd coincidence that I only got half of what I ordered both times. On the plus side, even though they are always really busy the line does move pretty fast for how many people are in it. Perk of only getting half your food?
Asked the lady if they had a certain burrito available. She said no. We looked it up online and asked her about it at the window before paying. She said they do have it. So then we asked if we could add it to the order, she said "no, they're not going to want that (cooks) your food is already made". Horrible attitude for everyone that works there especially at night. Avoid this location!
Not only did the workers here NOT do their job. We waited with several others at the front with no one manning the cash register taking orders. Cars lined up at the window like it was a drive in movie theater and not a single one moved. I appreciate fast food workers but not when you work at the pace of a snail with the complete disregard of your surroundings. You should care about your customers too but clearly these “workers” are only there for a paycheck. I will not be returning to this location.
So I tried to place an order early Friday Halloween morning at 230 and it says it doesn’t close until 3 that’s confusing and I tried to call and no one would pickup not to mention the app says they were closing soon when it hadn’t closed yet doesn’t make any sense!! 🤔🤔🤔🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
This was hands down the most humiliating and disgusting customer experience I’ve ever had in my life. The front desk staff at this Taco Bell didn’t just fail at customer service — they failed at basic human decency. The employee spoke to me like I was garbage, as if being rude, arrogant, and disrespectful was part of their job description. If this is the kind of people Taco Bell hires, maybe they should put a sign at the door: “No dignity inside. Enter at your own risk.” I’m not just disappointed — I’m furious. No apology, no explanation, nothing. Just pure attitude from a clown who clearly forgot that customers pay their wages. Management? Nonexistent. Either they’re blind, spineless, or just don’t give a damn. Let this be a warning: If you value respect, if you expect even a basic level of professionalism — stay the hell away from this place. And to the owner: If you read this and do nothing, then congratulations — you’ve built a restaurant that treats customers like trash. Don’t expect loyalty. You’ve lost mine for good.
Absolutely the worst drive-through experience I’ve had ever. I waited an unreasonable amount of time just to place my order, only to be met with complete confusion and zero urgency. The staff acted like my presence was an inconvenience rather than their actual job. No apology, and no explanation. If you’re craving Taco Bell, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. This location clearly doesn’t care about accuracy, speed, or customer service. Never again.
The drive through line took over 90 minutes. My tacos were cold, the fries soggy, and partially incorrect. Not even an apology.
This has got to be the worst Taco Bell location every, sucks that it's the only one close to me. I ordered online for in store ASAP pick up. Got there 20 min later, well after it should have been ready. They hadn't even started making it, and they weren't busy. I waited 10 minutes after that before I had to go up again to see where my food was, and they had it back behind the counter just sitting, never walked up to announce it. So it took 40 min, and me making 2 in person inquiries, for me to get an online Taco Bell order that I was picking up in person. I hate this location, never eating lunch here again I don't have the time.
I went to taco bell simply because I was hungry and I wanted a quick bite. I have always gone to this taco bell since its close to my house, but ever since they added the AI feature, they’ve been messing up my orders constantly. I drove through the drive through and the AI ordering feature started talking to me and usually when I say that I don’t have an online order, it changes to an actual person, not this time. I continued with my order which consisted of three crunchy tacos with no lettuce or cheese, a fry supreme and two baja blasts. We couldn’t see the order on the screen so we asked an employee to read it to us and she read what we ordered. We got to the front of the drive through and we got our food and we drove home. We arrived and we opened it to find an extra fries (not the fry supreme) and three crunchy tacos supremes (with tomatos and sour cream) the only thing they got correct was the baja blasts, which frankly is not very hard to remember.
They didn't get our order near right. They forgot food and got pissy with me when I brought it up and took our food back and when we got it back she had crushed all the shells on our hard shell tacos and forgot half of the ingredients in them too. They were very slow getting our food out to us when it was slow
Thanksgiving 2025 — waited in the drive-thru line for nearly an hour, watching only one or two orders go through the entire time. When I finally reached the speaker, the screen was blank and I was told they weren’t taking any more orders. A whole line of cars ahead of and behind me was turned away after waiting just as long. Truly one of the most disappointing fast-food experiences I’ve had. What made it worse: while we were all stuck in line, I watched as staff made a woman stand outside in the cold for around 20 minutes while they corrected her order. They wouldn’t even let her step inside to wait. That kind of treatment is unacceptable. It’s incredibly frustrating to see a full staff inside while customers are stuck outside with zero communication. If the location is closing early or unable to serve, please communicate — don’t leave people sitting there for an hour. Unfortunately, this isn’t an isolated incident. Hours at this location change constantly, mobile orders often can’t be fulfilled because “computers are down,” and long delays are almost expected. I honestly hope corporate takes a serious look at what’s going on here, because right now it feels like customer service is at the bottom of the priority list. Get it together.
We stood inside for several minutes with absolutely nobody addressing us or acknowledging our existence. When I told my disabled daughter that nobody was going to help us and we would have to go elsewhere we were chucked at and still they had no regard for the fact that she struggled to understand that it was open, we were there and that nobody would help us. Very rude and unwelcoming atmosphere. We won't be back.
The coworkers were nice and in a great mood but they took 30 minutes to give my order and had no sense of urgency at all the dining area bathroom all that was a mess and they had no sauces except Diablo domt go to this location go to any of the other three
Literally would give this one a -100 if it was possible. I dont know whats up with the robot taking orders in the drive thru but its NOT efficient whatsoever. The line wasnt even that long and we sat in line for at least 20 minutes just to order. Once we got to order we realized why it took so long ….. theres a fricking robot taking orders!!! SERIOUSLY !!!! ????? And the stupid thing couldnt even get the order right on the screen 🙄🙄 never again …… and on top of that the burrito i got was supremely subpar. Its fine and whatever but if you have AI doing one of the jobs at least make the humans make the food right.
Go to any other Taco Bell. The wait time is minimum half an hour. Your items will probably be wrong, and not sanitary. I had to walk in twice because the drive thru line was either wrapped around the building. The inside had 9 flies I could count, food all over the ground and dining area each table was disgusting. I will not be returning here until I hear in the news there is better management.
If I could give zero stars, I would. EVERY SINGLE TIME I come and order from this establishment, whether it’s through door dash or drive thru, there’s a problem. Incorrect items, MISSING items, 20 minute or more wait-times, constant low staff, poor quality, I could go on. I wouldn’t even recommend this place to my enemies. Absolutely pathetic. Please, do yourselves a favor, and run as far away from this Taco Bell as possible.
Quite literally the slowest Taco Bell in the entire state. We have been sitting here for close to 45 minutes only in line waiting to be able to make our order much less receive our food to corporate Taco Bell if you’re taking the time to be able to read and review these I would strongly suggest adding on more personnel to this specific establishment. This is absolutely atrocious in regards to their times and turnaround. I do not blame the people that work here. I blame corporate structure, not being able to give them the correct amount of personnel to adequately serve their clientele
They currently have the worst evening employees ever. I made an order on the app and waited in the drive thru for about 30 minutes (maybe more) once i got to the window the male employee told me to wait in the front parking lot and they'll come out with my order - lies. I waited for another 30 minutes so i personally had to call the store (because the lobby was closed) and told the female employee that i had been waiting for an hour for my order and she sounded so confused so i guess they forgot about my order but eventually said they'll bring it out. After the phone call I waited another 10 minutes for my order that still hadn't come so i asked one of the employees that was coming outside for his break about my order, he went back inside to check. He finally came out with my order.. but he initially forgot my drink. I'm very respectful and understandable if they're busy but over an hour wait for 3 items is ridiculous. 0/10 service would not recommend ordering from this location unless they replace the current night employees.
