The food is always great! The slushees and teas are tasty. I wish that they wouldn’t lie on the screen, saying that they’re on the way to your car when in reality they’ll come 10 minutes later.
The new fries here are out of this world! So many delicious things here that my family loves. Service always tends to be good. The atmosphere is "sonic." It's it's own thing.
The only complaint I have, is that the ordering terminal i was at, wouldn't allow me to tip. If facing the building feom the highway, it was the stall connected to the right side of the building all the way at the back end of the building. Get it fixed so your workers dont get cut out from future tipping. Also, why does sonic as a company not allow me to tip more than $20?

I love me some chilli dogs and chili cheese fries and mozzarella sticks and my sister's all time favorite corn dog. Bt last time I went there they forgot to give me my mozzarella sticks and corn dogs 😞😮💨.
Hands down our favorite Sonic! We have always struggled with errors at other Sonics but we love our Royse City Sonic! The Carhops are always pleasant, food always comes out hot and fresh! Can’t beat good customer service and good food!
I usually don't have anything bad to say about this Sonic location...until today when i received Seltzer water instead of Sprite. If you all could check your soda machines more frequent so customers can actually receive the soda they purchased that would be great, Zero soda products included. Thanks!
Got the quarter pound double cheeseburger and a sonic cheeseburger with tots and the bbq popcorn chicken. Both burgers were good, nothing special, it's a good, fast, cheap filler for when you're in a hurry. Tots are nice and crunchy and the popcorn chicken is generously coated with the bbq sauce. Good, quick food for when you're on the road.
⭐️ 1 Star — and that’s generous. We had to return our food TWICE because it was made wrong both times. Not once. Twice. Completely unacceptable. After wasting our time going back and forth just to get a simple order right, the solution? A “free medium” slushy. That’s it. As if that somehow makes up for the inconvenience, frustration, and lack of basic quality control. If you can’t get a basic order correct after two attempts, there’s a bigger issue. Do better.
This is the one of many times I’ve ordered a cherry limeade slush and got the regular cherry limeade and there’s no way for me to get a refund through the app
Food wasn't prepared fresh AFTER a remake. The staff was nice, but still didn't get the order right after no adjustments to the order. The food should be hot out the door. Especially tots & fries. Very disappointed after a remake.
Had to wait almost 40 minutes for my food. Then when I gave the car hop cash, she just took the money without giving any change. Then when I got home, the order was incorrect.
If your order door dash from here, there is a good chance they tell you they didn't get the order. Then you'll have to cancel, and it'll be 5-7 days before your money is refunded. The store won't call and tell you anything btw, you'll have to call them and investigate why your dasher are cancelling.
Sent my niece to get 3 combos plus a sandwich. No condiments provided, receipt doesn't list anything as a combo. Can't enjoy tots no ketchup, sandwiches have nothing to add besides salsa. I tried to call and couldnt leave a message. I received a recording that this voice mail is full. Very disappointed!!
For the parking speaker needs to be replaced I could barely hear either of the lady workers and the first one originally had an attitude they both didn’t speak loud enough and took forever when they WERE NOT busy and they didn’t give us a bag for all our food.
Service is always frustrating slow. I've shrugged it off when ordering food, but this time I ordered a water and a slush. After checking in and waiting 25 min, I waved someone down and finally received my drinks.
i came in at around 9:45. i knew it was about to close but it wasn’t closed yet. i ordered an oreo blast with whip cream. they did not put whip cream on top of my shake nor did they put oreos anywhere but on the very top. i could tell they were pissed about me being there so late, they took 10 minutes to make 2 simple ice creams. it doesn’t take that long. and i could see them having an attitude and talking about me while i was waiting through the window. i came in last night as well at 9:15 and they made it right but still took a while. if you plan on coming between open until 8, feel free, service and food has always been great around that time, however, if you go later at night they will MAKE SURE you hate your service because they’re mad you came “so late”
Food good as always but the drive thru is closed. and the wait time at the stall is RIDICULOUS lmao. not eating here until they open the drive thru again. ridiculous that it’s closed, i’m gonna be reaching out to see how it’s “out of order”
They constantly forget food and give me the wrong shakes it’s ridiculous how you can’t read the order correctly. Went for dinner and they just straight up forgot a burrito and didn’t get the shake correct. Either get it together or hire people who can read and comprehend an order properly. Terrible every time.
This is the 2nd time I order a cherry limeade and it’s so gross, the sprite tastes rancid, I had to go home and fix it with lime which is annoying considering that the price for the rt44 is almost $5 here. At other sonics that size is $3.75 with tax regardless of time.
We did not get a chance to try the food or atmosphere because after wasting his time reading the menu and presses the button to order the lights get turned off and was told they were closed. Now Most places don’t close at 10 o’clock on Friday night, but Most places would let a customer know that they were fixing to close. Me and my husband both have worked in customer service for over 30 years and I’m gonna tell you right now you got some employees that clearly don’t give a crap about your business or your customers. We will not be returning to your sonic And I will be glad to spread the word about The shitty service we received
Sticker over the drink list and trying to ask what drinks there are and the girl snaps at you not once but twice first to hurry up and second time like you are the invalid because she has issues understanding your question "what are the juices available on the kids menufor there is a sticker on it... I can't read it". Worst customer service I have ever had at a Sonic. And my order was delivered with the wrong items. Side note the Carhop was very nice... the only reason I didn't ask for the manager.
RIPPED OFF, WATCH YOUR MONEY!!! So I eat at sonic a lot throughout the Dallas and Rockwall areas and stopped in this Royse City one. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese toaster and small orange juice, total came to $7.23. The girl brought my order and I handed her $8.00, she told me "I have to go inside to get you change (with the look on her face like...I cant believe you really want your change). I had an extra dollar laying on my lap that I know she saw. I said "yeah I would like my change". She comes back out and I hand her the dollar tip at the same time she hands me the change of .75 cents. I saw it right away and called out to her and she totally ignored me, I know she herd me as she stumbled a second when I called out but she actually picked up her pace and almost ran away. Its not the money, 2 cents, its the principle of it!!! What is wrong with you people???? First of all, I thought you were supposed to have a change machine as part of your uniform. Second, you already knew what the change should be as its on the receipt!! She apparently does this all the time!! I tip everyone all the time as I am in the industry as well but I would NEVER RIP someone off, never mind for 2 freakin cents!!!! Needless to say Sonic in Royce City, you have lost this customer thanks to your carhop. By the way, she has a nice white iPhone watch I am pretty sure she paid for by this method.
