MAC Museum of Contemporary Art It's housed in a neoclassical building, built in 1885-1886. For a time, it housed the Mexican Post Office (1904-2004). When it became the Museum of Contemporary Art, modifications and adaptations were made to the building's interior. Usually, you don't find art in "contemporary art" museums, but sometimes, there are things that are worthwhile. It's a must-see.

The museum comprises five galleries, three on the ground floor and two on the first floor. The museum is located in the former Post Office, an elegant mid-18th-century Neoclassical building, crowned with Doric pilasters and balusters that adorn the upper section of the façade. The design is attributed to the architect Ignacio Escalante. The Museum of Contemporary Art is one of the leading art venues in the city of San Luis Potosí, providing a space for experimentation and innovation. It is distinguished by its immense architectural and cultural value.

nos pareció increíble la actual exposición del arista Húngaro Ákos Ezer, acudimos también en un momento de al parecer mtto. lo que no nos permitió ver a más detalle otras exposiciones, pero por la de Ákos valio la entrada.

Pues bien en general… De los museos dela ciudad de San Luis es de los pocos bien conservados. Sí te gusta mucho el arte moderno es imperdible, sino puedes visitarlo rápido para ver sus es esculturas de exposiciones temporales. El recorrido es breve ya que es un recinto pequeño y rápido de recorrer

Es muy pequeño, pero bastante agradable, las exposiciones que ahí tienen cambian constantemente 🥰🤩

A small but beautiful museum, which once served as a post office building, features very interesting, constantly changing temporary exhibitions. Admission is free during specific times. It has restrooms, a pleasant terrace where you can admire part of the historic center, and sculptures in the back give it an interesting touch. It opened as a museum in 2009. It's worth visiting for both its exhibitions and its neoclassical architecture.

It is decently big place, but the art pieces were repeating. The captions are in Spanish and the receptionists, guards, guide are very nice and speaking Spanish. Outside at the top floor is intetesting piece made out of tires. Wait for the sun to come!

Es un museo muy pequeño, se recorre aún leyendo todo el material y referencias entre 30 minutos, son pocas las obras que se exponen, es para visitarse una sola vez y ya, el edificio es de lo más interesante por su arquitectura colonial.
