Much better than other steakhouse chains! Waiter was friendly and helpful and the booth tables were comfortable! The crab cakes were delicious and the steak was huge. Had to take dessert to go because I was stuffed after the meal.

Usually don’t go anywhere without my pup but nothing replaces their baked potato soup, steaks, teriyaki chicken and service at the bar with Kassie T. Did I mention the military discount? This brand is more than lip service when it comes to our country’s veterans. Have also brought out of town (or from other countries) friends and everyone always leaves completely satisfied. The inside is purposely lit in a darker more intimate vibe, spacious and quiet. Large, free dedicated parking lot.

I had the full rack of ribs, it was delicious. The service was amazing. The location on Tustin isn't my favorite Black Angus, it's a bit smaller for larger parties, but everything else was great.

Haven't been to a Black Angus in years. A friend and I stopped in one for lunch. It hasn't changed in about 40 years! I had a chicken salad and he had a burger. Our meals were good and so was the service. I will probably stop back in when I'm in the area again

My friend correctly summarized the entry staff telling us our table wasnt ready and we can wait in the bar as a ruse to get us to buy libations. The interior was a place where time forgot. Almost like going to a sizzler - remember that decor? Anyway, the highlight was the salad, on its chilled plate with real blue cheese dressing. My filet was decent but definitely needed some steak sauce, which should be illegal on a filet cut unless the meat is just so so. However the Au Gratins are a major don’t. Get the fries. They can’t screw that up…I hope.

Came here on a Wednesday night. We had a reservation but there were not many people in the restaurant. The server was helpful and friendly. I ordered a 16oz prime rib and it was excellent. Others in the party ordered ribs, lobster, and salad and it was all good. Food was a little pricey for what you get.

The staff is friendly and the service was prompt. The restaurant was clean. The food was okay. If you're looking for steak that will taste better than Sizzler, then this is the place for you, but you definitely aren't getting top tier steakhouse melt-in-your-mouth steaks. The garlic butter was more garlic than anything else and I regretted getting it on my ribeye which was thin and tough and overcooked (I like carne asada, but that's not what I ordered). There wasn't much flavor to the meat itself. Again, much better than a place like Sizzler, but even Outback does better steaks than Black Angus just did. Even my husband's Filet was just okay and lacked much flavor. I will say I was disappointed after reading the reviews, too. I give it 3 stars because I thought the service was excellent and the people were friendly. Too many reviewers dock stars based on people instead of product so I'm adding a star. Otherwise, this would have been a two star review.

Came Saturday with friend for brunch to celebrate early b-day. We both enjoyed our steak meals. Today I wanted to treat myself days before my b-day to some steak, so I ordered takeout. They give options on how you want it cooked, I choose the well done option. As seen in the picture is not well done ( I think is medium rare) and when I pressed blood would come out. I’ve been going to Black Angus my entire life. I even worked at a location while I was in college. This was my first time at this particular location, though. And it will be my last. If you’re going to call yourself a steak house, especially one that’s very well known and been in the industry for generations, then you should probably know how to cook steak. This was the worst prime rib I’ve ever TRIED to eat. I seriously could not believe it. My first bite I thought, I think there’s something wrong with this meat. Since I couldn’t tell for sure, I took a second bite and determined it just had that raw meat taste. And it probably tasted like raw meat, because it was raw meat. I asked for medium. Somebody else’s in our party was also undercooked, but not as bad as mine. Instead of sending it back, I ate everything else on my plate and just brought the steak home. I cooked it to the proper doneness, but just thinking about it was making my stomach turn, so I took a few bites and finally just threw it in the trash where it belongs.

We wanted a special dinner today, so tried this place. After being seated, we waited about 15 minutes for our server to come over. He was pleasant, but hurried. Brought our drinks, bread and salads. Someone else brought our food. The server didn't ask how things were or offer drink refills until we were pretty well finished. Very disappointing, considering the bill was 76.00 for abysmal service. I grudgingly left the minimum tip. My chicken was overcooked and our salads both had the heels of the lettuce in them. We are from NY and this was the worst meal/service in a 2 week vacation.

WARNING ⚠️ READ THIS! We went in around 8pm last night for dinner. By 4-5am both my wife and I were puking and having severe diarrhea. We haven’t had ANY issues at all til after we ate here. We had the dinner for 2. My wife had the top sirloin and I had the new York. Now we are both severely sick with food poisoning.. out a nice chunk of money. (Our kids only had Mac n cheese, so we know 100% it came from the meat) and now have to hop on a plane severely sick and hope we make it home without puking on the plane or having an accident. This place needs health inspected or something because their meat must be old, not cooked well enough or not being stored properly.

Wow, very rarely do i feel that i am not wanted at a restaurant. The server was having a very bad morning and i am sorry i came to eat there to ruin her day. The food was good, but it's hard to enjoy yourself, we should have just left, but the wife wanted a steak and we were here. The country music got a bit annoying, but could have just been the sever annoyed me to a point where i just didn't enjoy anything..except the au gratin potatoes, thise were still awesome
