[February 2021] COVID Review The long and short; they have fast service, quick moving lines, profesional staff, and great food. I arrived here today with 4 cars in front of me. I had food in my hand within 5 minutes. The staff is quick to the point, makes the food quickly, and everyone is wearing masks! Much credit to the person handling the cash today at 1pm. Very professional and the staff deserves praise. Will be returning here.
Solid McDonalds. Never any issues with food, prompt service. Food is Mcdonalds so you should have an idea of what you're getting. I personally do not think it is fair to rate this atmosphere the same way you would a normal restaurant as this is just a fast food spot. Overall, if you're looking to get some McDonalds this is a great location. Quick and to the point.
This place always gets my order correct! I have a large family so we do end up waiting in the drive-thru parking pick-up a lot which is understandable. The ladies are always kind and the food is always great! I have zero complaints and have visited here several times.

Fast and cheap food when you running short of time or money
Great location, great workforce dominance of women efficiency running a busy store. The hungry diverse customer base including me, a truck driver, a student all happy to see the quality operations, management of women and customer delivery at the best!
It's a McDonald's with extraordinarily friendly drive through staff. Orders are made quickly and without error. I have never had a problem when coming here. Would definitely return as it's not too far from where I live. I wish McDonald's stopped moving the menu item numbers around, though. I have to re read the menu before every time I order to make sure they I can pick my favorite. I guess that bit's not for this particular franchise location, but eh.
The team here is very polite and friendly, i always enjoy coming here, they are doing a great job by serving food quickly

Great outdoor place to have some fries & burger
In this day and age, when everything seems so numbers oriented, it's refreshing to find an establishment like McDonald's. This particular location pays attention to an individual's needs, making sure their order is right, regardless of how much it is. And make a person feel at home, even if it's just some dude drinking coffee.
The food was good and service was very quick. It was a bit noisy because there were many families and elderly groups chatting, but this McDonald’s was very clean.
Best McDonald's I've ever been to. Absolutely best double quarter pounder I've had at a fast food restaurant. I'm beyond impressed with the speed and quality I experienced here. I bit into my burger and thought I was anywhere other than McDonald's. I was taken back by how great it tasted.
As long as you tell them you want all your food prepared fresh, not our of heat trays, you'll get hot tasty food. Although if you don't order at a kiosk, expect to be ignored
went through the drive-thru late at night, and the service was awesome! The girl at the window was super friendly and made sure my order was perfect. The frappes were the best I’ve had! Definitely coming back!

Food was great, hot fries, quick service. Very good flavor and nice people. Not sure why they have 2 stars, but maybe pretentious folk. It's not fancy but it's cheap and good.
Food being acceptably hot enough is hot or miss with McDonald's unless you specifically say "cooked to order" - I got lucky on this visit without having to say that! Definitely not keen on the new drive thru set-up

This McDonalds looks old outside, but they get your orders pretty fast during Drive Thru. I always order it through the app and usually I can get in and out within 5 minutes. Come here if you want a quick meal, and like any other McDonalds sometimes they will mess up your orders so be sure to check before you leave.
I made a mobile order for the first time and they filled it super fast and brought it out with zero hassle and I avoided waiting in line at the drive through. If you've never done it before, it's worth trying, but they won't fulfill your order until you signal that you are at the restaurant through the app. I was very pleased with this experience and you will be too.
This McDonald's is great. The problem I have is that using Arch cards can be challenging and I would recommend people to NOT buy them because of the headaches that come and might come with them: Scratching off the coating to access the pin might result in some of the pin digits getting scratched off as well. McDonald's doesn't allow McDonald's Arch gift cards as a form of payment when using the app. Who's idiotic idea was that, anyway? Ridiculous!
The staff at this McDonald's is better than most. The frontline workers do their best. It's my observation that management tends to slow things down. Often the drive-thru gets very backed up, which is surprising considering how often people are directed to park in the Drive-Thru parking area. But overall will continue to go to this location for what it is.

Wait time is too long, especially during lunch hours. Food is tasty, place is clean. lot of homeless people outside and inside who bother you while eating. I usually do takeout.

Store was closing 2 hours early with no signage or warning. I placed my order thru the app prior to having this knowledge and was able to go inside and retrieve it since it was prepaid (the drive-thru was blocked). The McCrispy was nice and fresh but the fries weren't so hot. Staff was kind under the circumstances.

Hours are great for a late night snack. They're doing two large fries for $4.5, great for the wallet but not tbh e calories. Order via the app for good rewards and other fun stuff.

We went through the drive through. They added pickles and onions to my child's cheeseburger in her happy meal. Other than that it's a typical McDonald's. I try not to visit these places unless there aren't any other options. This visit was no exception. I do like their vanilla ice cream and shakes... But that's a McDonald's general fact and not specifically this location.

Mc Donald's is my GoTo whenever I need to grab a drink, (& sometimes a quick bite). This is exactly what I was doing during this warm evening while running last minute errands, I got thirsty. So to the closest local McD's I went to... Their Customer Service through their Drive-Thru, (it even had a short line!!), was very good & they quickly delivery my Large Diet Dr. Pepper such that I was back on the road fairly quickly. This is indicative of a majorit y of my experiences such that I would recommend tohem to anyone looking for Fast Food for Take-Out
All other visits have been fine.. but last week the guy at the window was extremely rude. We ordered 4 apple pies and he gave us 3 apple pies and 1 strawberry pie. When we asked about it he didn't apologize, he just rudely asked, "then would you rather wait in the parking lot for 15 minutes??!" Not a good experience. 😕
Service might be for drive thru focus. The inside area is small and the service is not the best. They seem overwhelmed. Ketchup has to be asked for. They don't seem to care much about dine in customers. I would recommend other places to dine in.
Good fast-food but I was not happy with the services. We only ordered a soft serve cone and a free french fries with no salt. We waited more than 15 minutes at the mobile order curbside pick up spot and finally decided to walk in to pick up the order with my 2.5 year old. Not a single sorry about the wait. I asked the lady to replace a fresh soft serve cone since it looked like it has been out for a while. She kept explaining and not attempted to replace a new one. I insisted and she did it. However when I got to the car I realized the fries were with salt. I didn't want to go through the trouble to walk back in the rain. I appreciated that they let some people camping out there to stay dry from the rain. Yet, I will now only go back to the usual location I visit on Homestead Road, Cupertino.
Ordered the new $5 meal and added an extra free large fries, all on the app. It's an okay meal, but this deal is only temporary. I had the Spicy McChicken Chicken Sandwich. It was slightly spicy. Same with the spicy mcnuggets. The new McDonald's seats are hard and uncomfortable unlike the old fluffy cushiony seats. Sad that they downgraded. Also the service is very slow at this location.
Shrinkflation in full effect not just here but all of them in the area! I don't visit any McDonald's often but just a few times a year but when did the price of a cheeseburger skyrocket to $2.70? And the fish filet to $5.80 especially when it's just 2"x3"? Utterly ridiculous! Half of my fries were under cooked and all under seasoned.
Reliable McDonald’s. The Drive Thru line isn’t the fastest and it’s pretty cramped, but it’s convenient. Usually my wife and I order on the app and then pickup in the drive thru. Sometimes we just stop by for a Dr Pepper (since it’s cheaper than buying a bottle) but the soda from this location is often watered down and not super carbonated. This time I was craving a soft-serve cone. I hadn’t had one from McDonalds before but it was exactly what I wanted - traditional vanilla flavor, soft texture, on a wafer cone. We also used the $1 fire coupon (with $2 order). The fries were nice and hot. Make sure to ask for ketchup or a dipping sauce because they never include any in the bag. An older style McDonald’s we don’t usually eat inside, I’ve only been inside when they forget to give me a straw. Plenty of parking since it’s in a small shopping plaza, with some Tesla Superchargers in the main part of the plaza.
Asked for fresh well done nuggets and burgers were not. Asked for Hot Fries and they were cold ... diet soda was flat. At pay time at drive thru... asked the girl if all food was well done and fresh and she said ... yes it is... NOT! This Mc Donalds does NOT care for their customers!
1st of all I have an interesting experience in the drive-through. Person comes over the speaker saying yeah. I said hello his replay back what do you want. Then I pulled up for meal im handed my drink and said thank you another woman came to the window going is there anything else that I want because I didn't leave the window I asked maybe my meal. The entire store was dirty. I couldn't find a table that was not dirty so my Son and I sat and just avoided some mess on the tables. We were going to grab napkins to clean them,but there wasn't any.

They don’t have a drink machine! A Macdonald with a broken drink machine! They brought my drink and added ice to it which I didn’t want.
Since California raised to 20 an hour for fast food. McDonald's customer service has an absolute 0. They force u to use kiosk even if u do use the kiosk and choose to pay cash be prepared to wait until they feel like helping . No eye contact at all. Food was cold.......as always......in and out here I come.
Was trying to get Peacock activated for my travels tomorrow...with the monopoly thing. Just needed one more, when purchasing my order on the screen it had the little monopoly logo still. I asked the lady if I could have a card when I saw it wasn't there she told me twice after checking with a co-worker it was over... Confused I left and checked the app to confirm what she said wasn't true. Hate being lied to like that.
I ordered my Sandwich without bread. I got the cheese on the bottom of the tray sticking to the cardboard. How am I supposed to eat that? Burger is always dry and burnt . Fries always cold and not cooked all the way so they are limpy. Prices keep going up and burgers are getting smaller. You ask for no onions they put double. Sad !! Ordered our food thru DoorDash. The food was cold and the filet of fish was dry and it smelt really bad. Tried calling McDonalds and they didn’t answer the phone. My boyfriend threw up 1/2 hour after eating and I feel sick to my stomach.

Waited 10 minutes before asking where my food is them going it was just sitting around behind the counter. Soda was warm, no straws out, cup lid dispenser was broken. Didn't have time to finish my meal before I had to leave because it took so long.
Buggy app wouldn't allow me to pick up my food because the app was not showing me as geographically present, likely due to GPS bugs. I paid for my food and couldn't pick it up. I had to leave and go home without it, despite showing them the confirmation code and charge on my credit card and reading the order number.
Only one bathroom and you need a key ( horrible setup) and staff refused to check on it although no one answered knock after we waited over 5 min. The guy in front of me had to ask for help 3 times before anyone helped. Then I ordered oatmeal as only thing I could eat on menu and I find that McD adds sugar to it!! Why????? Let us decide on our sugar. Of course it had 3x sugar needed. Not nice!!!!
We have visited this place multiple time and its been a wonderful experience. We had 2 terrible experiences at the same outlet, one time our credit card was used by an employee on a day when we were at home. Last visit was on 3rd March 2020 when the staff ignored us and did not take our order. When requested for order they kept ignoring us. Decided not to visit again. 😡
Absolutely worst manager and employees. I live next to this store, I walked in to get a sundae at 11.30 pm, the door of the store was open and I went into store (There was no sign telling it was closed), where I was told to wait in the drive through lane to get it. Then after I stayed in the line for 15 mins, the person taking the order doesn't respond or ask for my order, and then when I reach the delivery counter, he tells me that it's not safe to take my order as I am walking in the cars lane (I am already done all the walking and reached the front and I am in this lane because your manager told to come this way). Google mentions that the store is open until 12 am, I think there has to be sign board telling person walking into the store at or after 10 pm will not be served. Don't go to this store after 10 pm if you are walking or want to dine in. Was hoping to give a 0 star if possible.
They screwed up my order quite a number of times. I ordered a Sausage Egg McMuffin and they gave an Egg McMuffin. Then the next time I had breakfast there, I ordered a Sausage Egg McMuffin and a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese McGriddle but they gave me 2 Sausage Egg McMuffins. And then when I went there for lunch a couple weeks later, I ordered a Big Mac Combo with no pickles or onions, and guess what!? They put extra pickles in my Big Mac so I had to pick them out, disgusting! Also the label on my Big Mac said it had no Big Mac sauce, even though it did. Also there was not a lot of meat in the Big Mac, and the portion of the fries was small. They also put extra lettuce, so most of it got on my table. The next day, I ordered a Sausage Egg McMuffin, but where is the egg!? 2 bucks down the drain. Another day, they COMPLETELY forgot my Sausage, Egg, and Cheese McGriddle. I also ordered a Cookies and Cream pie, but got Apple pie. This time they did not even put the Issues With Your Order sign on the bag. They had to tape part of the bag to attach the receipt and to get it off the bag shredded. NEVER coming back to this location ever again!
Seems like every McDonalds stopped acknowledging customers. Not even a “Hi”, ignoring me as I try to flag anyone down. Stood for 30 minutes before someone asked if I was waiting for an order. Worse McDonalds ever, along with any McDonalds along El Camino Real. Big yikes.
Bad customer service , I have ordered the Large French Fries from my mobile order . I went to drive through pickup and that person given the fries . After coming to home , I have noticed that quantity of fries which I got in that pack is very less , its like half of the pack . So I was disappointed and called to Mc Donalds and explained this , and he has asked to come back now and return those , then he will give new french fries large pack . I am really disappointed by this response . As I told I have reached home already and again coming back to Mc Donalds it wll take long time . So over all the Customer Service is very very bad. Not treating well the customers.

Went here at 6 pm for nuggets and fries. We went inside to order. The ordering machines in the lobby were taken apart, with pieces and wiring everywhere! The two technicians working on them were painfully unaware or unconcerned they were in the way. There had to be a better time for the repairs to be done. What a mess, and they were very in the way. We stepped up and ordered 2 10-piece nugget meals. As we filled the pops, we waited for our food to appear. It was quick, and we took our beg and drove the couple of blocks to our hotel and sat down for some dinner. OMG... this was the worst, cold, and firm nuggets and french fries I have ever had the dissatisfaction of being served! Disgusting. Gross. I can not believe the manager on duty didn't "waste" this food instead of selling it. "WASTE" is a term used for throwing away nonsellable food and noting the quantities on a chart, especially food that is past its freshness time. This was garbage. I paid almost $24 for the worst McDonalds food I have ever had. When we got to our room, most had to be tossed, because there was no eating this!! What a waste of money. The employee putting this food it into the bag should be admonished, and the manager should be fired. This store is a mockery of all McDonald's everywhere.
Lady at the drive thru is so impatient to wait for 15 sec to provide a the mobile order number while the app is too slow. She started shouting and giving lectures about how to make it quick and says it’s a long time. Impatient staff and rude service. Another order: They forgot to add nuggets and told me to wait at the curbside and forgot to send the missing items. After 15 mins wait I had to go inside to pick the rest.
I went to Mc Donald’s hoping to get some fast food, but it turned out horrible. My kids got the happy meal but didn’t like the soggy French fries, the cheeseburger with pickles and mustard,and the chicken nuggets. (Kids are all sorta picky but I don’t blame them) To me, service was slow. I don’t understand why people like it so much. And it wasn’t really filling.
Ordered my food on their app. Got there. Was told my order was canceled. Yet I am charged for it. Never going to this particular restaurant again. Luckily I used my credit card. I'll get my refund through them.
Dismissive staff. It was really awkward that one of the girls had her mini backpack and purse next to the cash register and didn't acknowledge me for 3min straight, looking at her phone. They were busy and the manager was yelling at her people in the back to go faster, but this girl just stood there. If she actually wasn't on the clock, maybe she shouldn't be somewhere facing customers, just hanging out. To the manager: a couple simple phrases, "I apologize what can I get you", "hello. Please bare with us, we will serve you asap"... easy stuff. I'm never going back.
Went here with my mother for lunch over the holiday weekend. She has a service dog that goes everywhere with her. We sat down at a table. An older Latina woman comes up to me and says I have to hold the dog "because of the children". This woman was with a group of customers at another table across the restaurant. Turns out, she was the Grandmother of the people at that table and one of the Managers at that McDs. I explained the dog is a Service Dog for my Mother and has no interest in her children who shouldn't be running around the restaurant in the first place. She shook her head and repeated that the dog had to be held because of the children. I told her that those kids are not my problem and we don't have to "hold" a service dog who is behaving just because she can't control her grandkids. All the while this is happening, our service dog was laying on the ground under the table with his head on his paws staring at us. She threatened to call the police if I didn't hold the dog. Knowing she could make up whatever story she wanted if she did call the police (who would automatically believe her over me), I complied since we had already ordered our food. Gave it two stars because the Cashier was nice. Definitely not returning to this McDs.
I work nearby and I usually go through drive-thru. I went to drive through and only ordered a Coke icee in which shouldn't take long but of course you're going to drive through. As I got to the window the lady with the glasses didn't even get the order correct, she was going to give me a blueberry icee in which I did not order, but then she got a little attitude with me when I asked her for a fork! Her response was "do you need a knife and a spoon too because I don't want to go back and forth" she then rolled her eyes at me. I work in a customer service job as well with high stressful goals but I'm not sitting here giving my customers attitudes and disrespecting them like that. Something needs to change
17 minute wait time for curbside pick up! Why not do drive thru with the code? Because they always ask me to park when I give them the code. Not worth the time to use the app (to get deals) at this location. The man said they only had two people in the kitchen yet 10+ cars went through drive thru before we got our food. Our order was only 40 nuggets, 2 frappes, 1 hamburger, one large fries. 5 minutes, fine, 17 is unacceptable.
I was asked to wait for my order. So I waited literally 10 minutes. Order came but wring. I had asked for sauce in the side. The fish fillet came with sauce loaded inside on both sides. I called and they said they are sending another one. This time it came with sauce on the side and also inside. It appeared that they just gave extra sauce in the side. So I had to call again and they said they will make new order. Very poor service. Took me literally 30 minutes to get just Ine fish fillet

The drive-thru person could not have been more hateful, unhappy, or pissed off. The person who handed me the food, was even more pissed off aggravated, and did not place the lid on tightly so it's spelled on me I could not have been more unhappy
Horrible service. Every time I come here.. Always disappointing. Asked for ketchups, but never got them. Asked for refill..no one responds. Never come here again.
U ordered delivery and the payment went thru. I called to add a sauce because I forgot to add to online order. Representative said their closing & didn't get order. Sounded like they were being lazy. They didn't even try to check, said no order and hung up. Customer service is very terrible. Avoid this mcdonald's if you can
Food has been fine over the years coming here. I don’t live near the Sunnyvale area anymore but came here today for the first time probably since beginning of COVID 19. Ordered a shamrock McFlurry and asked for a large cup of water. The lady didn’t even mention it was going to cost me anything at the intercom. I get to the window and it was nearly $2 so essentially the same price as a soda or a tea there. That’s a complete joke and horrible service from this McDonald’s especially after I already just spent close to $6 so it’s not like I’m just asking for something for free. Definitely won’t return to this McDonald’s again regardless if I’m in Sunnyvale!
I ordered my food twice through the mobile app while I was standing in the restaurant. Showed them the confirmation with the restaurants location, receipt, my credit card statement and everything and they said it wasn’t a real order and wouldn’t give me my food until I reordered. I’m not about to throw my money away a 3rd time so I left.
Wow I wish I could give 0 stars! I just went through the drive thru with my husband and the workers were not only RUDE but downright DISRESPECTFUL! When the runner gave us our sweet tea we told her it wasn’t good and asked for something else. She took our drink, dumped it, and walked to the pass where we could see her laughing with her coworkers. When she returned we asked her for some ketchup and ranch while she refilled our drink. She had the AUDACITY to put her hand up in my husbands face and say “hold on you can speak to me when I come back to you”. I normally don’t get worked up about these things, but this girl has had an attitude every single time we come! I work a customer-facing job too so I know what it’s like dealing with people all day everyday but I WOULD NEVER DISRESPECT someone like that!! Needless to say, I’ll never be coming back to this McDonalds, and she should not be allowed back either. She does not deserve the $20 an hour!!
Stay away from this location there’s no sense of urgency coming from any of the workers. I waited 15 minutes to get my order. I was forgotten about. I went through the drive-through ordered my order. They said it needed to cook. I was asked to park in a drive-through spot I waited there for 15 minutes. I came inside asked for my food and it took another 5 to 7 minutes for them to actually give me my food by that time. It was cold horrible service horrible employees do not go
Ordered here just today a deluxe mccrispy and the $6 mcdouble deal totaling 14$. They forgot my mccrispy which is more expensive than my mcdouble deal and to pour salt on that, they gave me leftover mcdouble alongside rock hard bread. Love to see something like this after a 12 hr shift. Do not order at this location ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
I have been coming here more than 30 yrs but lately it has the worst service especially at the counter no one to take your order! I have seen people leaving frustrated after waiting for long time. I would give it 0/5 but no such thing.
If I could give this place no stars I would. The managers are extremely rude despite my politeness. It felt like the nicer I was the meaner they were. Continuously cutting me off and not letting me finish what I need to say even for routine orders from drive through. On top of that the food is disgusting! I've been giving this place a good try for the last 7 months since I moved here because it's so close to our house and honestly I will never return again. Even my toddler will not eat the food here, I hope corporate finds new management and comes to take a look at how things are run here because this place needs A LOT of work. Otherwise the regular workers seem very nice I honestly just feel for them because they have to deal with rude managers. Good luck to them.
Service is a bit slow sometimes, employees are always great tho. Food quality is very inconsistent. Fries are often stale and floppy, Big Macs just taste off. Not sure if the meat is old and cold or if the bread is stale. Edit: restaurant forgot egg on both of my breakfast sandwiches and refused to give me refund over the phone. What a joke
I went through the drive thru and there was nobody to take my order! I had the take an extra 10 min to double back and go through again. And then when I finally got to the pick up section of the drive thru, they made me wait and park my car to wait for them to finish making it! The food was good but the service was not good at all. I recommend not coming to this McDonald’s but if you go to another location then the service might be better.
They lie about when your mobile order is complete. As soon as it arrives in the store, they marked it as ready when it’s not. Clearly doing this to improve their metrics without any care to the customers.
This McDonald’s has two restrooms, and I know for a fact that both of them are functional. However, customers are only given a key to one restroom, while access to the second one is denied without any clear explanation. This creates unnecessary inconvenience and feels like an artificial restriction rather than a real issue with availability. Basic customer amenities should not be limited this way, especially when the facilities are working. Very disappointing experience.
Slowest service of all time. Took 30 minutes through the drive through, they directed us into the overflow and never brought our food out.
Waited 20min for a diet Cole and a Lemonade. Order number would disappear and reappear on monitor. Asked 2 blue shirts (managers?) and was told in a few minutes. Finally walked out.
The treatment here is horrible, I saw how they disrespected a person for buying with an EBT Card, he came to the manager just to say no and they removed him in a way from the place for not having to pay. You see this and it’s outrageous.

Check your order! Not only do they constantly forget items but we ordered burgers with cheese and got one with only a bun with cheese and NO patty!! I called to talk to a manager just to let them know and they would not give us the name of the manager. Thank God I know someone that worked there. We didnt go back because we were already home and it was only 1 burger. Worst location!
This would be my third review ever written. Unfortunately, this one is not for any good reason. I simply ordered their #7 and when I arrived at the window after charging my card asks what I ordered. I advised, she immediately called over a manager and proceeded to explain her version of what occurred in Spanish. While I was forced to check my online banking app to see what was occurring in real time. No big deal really. However, she proceeded to blame me for not advising her what I had ordered before paying for my meal. This is in the drive thru, I only went up three feet and you handed the credit terminal to me to tap. They refunded my original payment, and requested I be charged again for the correct meal. I elected to just receive my refund and no meal. Most pathetic parts, I never received an apology and had to write this review. It was all a bunch of Mickey Mouse BS! Numbers to high to calculate type deal. Will try to avoid this location!
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! THEY NEVER PREPARE YOUR ORDER RIGHT I ordered curbside today through the app at this location. The delivery guy brought the wrong order to me, and I told him clearly, "This is not my order. " Then he realized he had given the wrong order to customer #3. He began looking for that vehicle and wished to get the order back, which seemed so dumb to me. Who the hell will stay after receiving their food order at curbside pickup? Then, the delivery guy took the wrong order back inside and left me there without saying anything. 20-mins later, I didn't even know if they were remaking my order or not, and I was pissed. I get inside, and the delivery guy calls the manager out to talk to me. They tried to blame me for not being in the right spot (which is ridiculous because my order on the McDonald's App disappeared, and I cannot retrieve any information about my order). I have to find the receipt in my email to prove that I did place an order and have a manager order it for me again on their system. After another 20 minutes of waiting at the counter, along with three other customers who were missing their fries, they finally gave me the order. You know what: They forgot another burger on my order again. I was so done with them that I grabbed my order and left. The total waiting time is 57 minutes, and they can't even make my order right. This location had a terrible reputation before remodeling, and I hoped they would be normal afterward. I am wrong. They are as awful as usual: terrible services and never making the order right. This is my fifth time receiving a wrong order at this location, and I will never return. Instead, I will go to the 696 N Mathilda Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94085 location, which is much better.
I went through the drive through on Wednesday night to order a crispy chicken deluxe sandwich and mistakenly ordered the wrong one. I apologized and asked if they could get me the correct one and would pay the difference. They agreed and asked for the sandwich back to which i gave them. A few mins later they came to the window with the "right" sandwich and I asked if they had used the same chicken patty from the mistake order. The person said no and i took their word for it. Upon arriving home I noticed that they had definitely used the same chicken (on top of that the sandwich was just horrible in every way) and Immediately drove back to get a refund. I spoke to the manager and she was rude and dismissive of the whole situation and after asking for her name she wrote down "lawcka" ona the receipt which im sure is not her name. I dont understand why they couldn't just give me what i had asked for instead of lying and having me drive back and forth.
On Oct 4 around 7:30 I went through drive through. 1) The person that got the order didn’t have customer service manner and was very rude. 2) The fries was old and wasn’t eatable I should have go to the store and talk to the manager but since I was tired I just left and dumped it in the garbage. I recommend the management talk and train the staff better, the person that get the orders has to start the conversation with thank you for stopping at Macdonald, how can I help you? Not saying ha or what. Such a shame
I should've read reviews first. They are rude here. And food. Ask for it fresh. And be prepared for the questioning to use the bathrooms!! Plenty of parking. It does get busy. I stop at regularly at McDonald's. I use the bathroom first. Wash my hands, etc. These were locked. Kindly ask to use the bathroom. The employee gave me a hard time. He said, "Someone must be in there." So I waited by bathrooms. Than another employee approached. Spoke in Spanish. She "Assumed" I spoke in Spanish. I said. I must be a customer. I told her I order after I use the bathroom. She reluctantly unlocked it. There are a lot of ppl here. Assumed because of homeless ppl. Wondering if my hair is looking like all over the place. ? I know I get treated differently every time by my own culture. So I go to order. She starts talking pretty fast in Spanish. I asked her to please. Talk to me in English. And told her I ordered on my App. Told her my code for the pick up. I heard the guy say Did she order! Smh I got a little unnerved. Its none of his business. How I came in as a Paying Customer. She had to go ask the cooks. It was not showing up on her screen. It was there. So Sat and waited. I ordered a big breakfast muf. And a Mocha. With strawberry preserves. I had hot syrups in my bag. I didn't order any pancakes. Sat down and everything is cold. I hate that. (Tip: Folks, ask for it to be Cooked Fresh. Even my mocha was lukewarm. Smh) After I ate, most of it. I had to use the bathroom, again. Wash my hands, etc. I came out. My stuff was gone. I dont like taking my food into the bathroom! That's gross. I barely drank but a few sips of my Mocha. I had my muffin left on my plate. It was gone! I told the manager. At register. Someone took my food and drink. Ughh They acted like I had never ordered anything. She kept saying. "I don't know." I said. "Yes, you do know." " Look just please give me a new Mocha." At least. Because I barely drank out of it." The other manager said there was stuff there. Assumed I had left. So she gave me a new drink. I said. "Thank you." I had only a half a muffin left. But its okay. I was done. I even left it neatly cleaned up. Used stuff in bag. Except my muf still in the little plate covered. I am not messy person. I don't like taking my food into the bathroom. Overall, service is terrible. Place is clean. Decent bathrooms. No hot water like the others have. Muffins were soggy and lukewarm. Food was lukewarm. Eggs and sausage. Gross.😐 Mocha was lukewarm warm. This McDonald's is the only one that was the worst experience ever. All the others also greeted you nicely. This one. Its a crime to use the bathrooms. I get it about the homeless. But this one. I see every day working folks. Stopping in. And regulars. The Customer Service needs to be better at greeting and speak English. We all dont speak Spanish. Smh No offense. I should of asked a neighbor- ing customer. To watch my stuff. 🙄
Apparently this is there medium iced coffee. When I told the attendant this was not a medium, she said it is. When as you can see in the lable, it says it's a small iced coffee. She also didn't give me a receipt. She was extremely rude
Service is incredibly slow, even for simple orders like a large fries with nothing else. There's always timer alarms blaring from the kitchen. The only consolation is that the food is decent McDonald's standard quality.
Just leaving honest feedback. This location isn’t consistent with iced caramel macchiatos and makes them shaken, while every other McDonald’s I go to makes them like the one in the attached photo from the Augustine Drive location. I’ve gone in twice to mention it and wasn’t acknowledged or helped either time. Even a quick explanation or remake would’ve been appreciated. Consistency and basic customer service would really help here.
Sometimes they forgot there is already a car at the pickup area one so two car try to parking the pick up area one and stock the entire drive through traffic
Do not go to this Mcdonalds if you like forcefully paying for an item you already paid for. Here’s what happened. I pull up to the drive thru and order just a measly oatmeal and large hot coffee. Nothing special. I pull up yo the first window to see a woman. I pay with my digital credit card. She offers a receipt but since its only 6 bucks I pass. That was a mistake due to the fact the second window guy and girl both try to lie to me that I didn’t pay even though I confirm the purchase on my mobile banking app. Now I will have to dispute the charge since it’s showing two charges. The whole reason why I’m upset is not due to 12 bucks. It’s the fact that employees lie, scam, or just dont know what theyre doing or asking for help (even listening to the customer when the customer clearly shows they’ve paid). It’s the principle of things that matters and if you’re reading this and need a reason to not go here. Think again. I highly wouldn’t recommend this place or their attention to detail. Do better.
Worst mc Donald’s ever. Rude staff. Poor service. I ordered a spicy delux. There was nothing inside it. The guy named Ikra who could not even spell his name was all time rude. MC Donalds: Please maintain minimum standard. Like really. I have beautiful childhood memories.
Drive thru says till 1am, and the app allowed me to order at 12am too. When I got to the store, there was absolutely no one. Is it fun to scam customers?
in 1981, McDonald's had the best burgers ever. Corporate America turned it into a chemistry lab, sadly. I thought after 40+ years of departing McDonald's it would have went back to good . Horrible food says it all . I gave them a chance since they were the ONLY place open that late . I pointed at nice looking burger on the menu and ordered it. It came completely different from picture, buns and patty, that's all. Where are the veggies? ...etc , I asked. Well sir you have to order those separately. wow ....... Ok fine I paid , they gave me the Cadillac virgin (if I may). Now comes the taste, I literally felt I was eating a chemistry lab experiment. I could taste the chemicals .
Ordered on the app and app skipped my choice to use the drive-thru and went to pick up inside. I explained what happened and gave my order number. The cashier and the server at window 2 would not get my order. Said I had to come in the store. This has happened twice before, and the other stores gave me my food through the drive thru. What is wrong with this picture?
Used to be much better but in the last year, food is becoming very dry and off, food I’m eating feels like it has been left out for hours before it was served. I thought maybe this is a one time thing, but this has been consistent every time I got food from this branch for more than a year.
This McDonald's seems to skimp on everything. I select extra onions and pickles on the app when ordering and the burgers I get end up with 5 pieces of diced onion. Picture of my extra onion hamburger. It's nice that their ice cream machine isn't always broken but it feels like the workers could fill it up more. Of the 5 times I've been to the drive thru, they would ask me to pull over to the side 3 of those times. It's strange to me.
November 25,2023 Sunday Breakfast We had a very disappointing experience at the local McDonald's branch in Lawrence Expressway Sunnyvale. The customer service from the manager and mexican lady staff fell short of expectations, and I observed instances that suggested racial insensitivity. It's very disheartening to encounter such behavior, and I hope the management takes steps to address and rectify these issues for a more inclusive and welcoming environment.
