Nice and friendly staffs, pretty much nothing special or any set expectations when you McDonald's, Long Island is a pretty nice neighborhood so you can expect a little more from the ordinary. I was disappointed the bike rack was removed for a curbside pickup parking space. When I arrived there were at least 5 fat tire bikes strewn in front of the store blocking space the differently able people would have needed if they were there. My bike, a compact cargo bike added a sixth bike and an additional obstacle. With school starting again this problem may only get worse

We love the updated menu and decent prices for different combo levels. I recently stopped by while fixing my car a few blocks away, and I was impressed by the decent property and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant had great amenities, including two bathrooms, different seating levels, and an LCD screen for ordering. I was looking for a small bite, so I opted for the 4-piece Chicken McNuggets and McChicken meal for just $5.50, including a drink! I was blown away by the quality, quantity, and value. The working staff were busy taking orders and handling deliveries, but still managed to provide excellent service. My favorite foods, including Apple Pies, Hash Browns, and coffee, were all delicious. Thank you, McDonald's, for continuing to serve and impress! The parking lot is free with handicap van accessible. This location can be seen from vehicle moving in normal traffic. There's a kiosk for easy ordering as an alternative to joining lines for cashier orders. This location has a mobile orders curbside for tech savvy customers 😁.

Compared to other Mcdonalds I find this location superior to the others. Restrooms and dining room are always clean and you can refill your soda. The food is always fresh and when I'm sitting in traffic on the Southern State I can count on them for a quick restroom break and even a meal.

I stay walking distamce from here. I really do my ordering at the kiosk the pay at the counter. The some of tge staff is not always so nice. I really do not care for fast food. I am a home cooked food person. O belive in cooking your own meals.

Small dining area, no shades to shade you from the blistering sun and the self order board is very time consuming, easier to go up to the counter and deal with a human being.

This is a great location. The food and service are great. The problem is that the Coke is horrible. This is the only McDonald's I've ever been to in any state that has bad tasting soda. I love the Coke at every other McDonald's restaurant.

Hit or miss here. Either the employees are extremely nice and helpful or they're absolutely terrible and should not be working there. There's no in between. I went in the other day and "Evelyn" took my order, and she couldn't even get 2 big macs and a medium fry right. She refused to look me in the face, never said one word to me, even when I asked her questions. I assume she speaks English but possibly not. She just stood there looking straight ahead. It was very strange. The best thing is to rate them at mcdvoice right away after ordering (it's on the rcpt). Get names of employees for good and especially bad reviews. It helps a lot. The food is usually pretty good. It's the service that is hit or miss. And when the service is bad, it's as bad as you can get. We'll try again next week. Service was HORRIBLE at this West Hempstead location. It's 10PM got there originally at 9:30 went thru the drive in where when I got my order drove off halfway and bag was wrong. Slow service plus old stale food. I've been there 3 times in the last month on my way to work in the morning. I've been to many McDonalds restaurants but this has to be the worst. The drive thru receptionist doesn't speak english. Paying for my breakfast, they threw my hash browns in a brown bad and left out my biscuit for my deluxe meal. They gave me one eating utensil when I bought food for two people. And well, need I say more. Worst experience ever.

The fries here are disgusting. I've been going here for a few years but I think I'm done. They are constantly undercooked, soggy and oversalted. The staff should be ashamed of themselves for serving them this way.

Placed an order here using UberEats, only to be called by one of the employees to tell me that one of the items I ordered was no longer made. Extremely poor customer service. They make you wait outside of the store and only allow one person at a time without giving a valid reason. It wasn't even like the store was busy. They let other people in before me despite me coming first. When I went, they made me wait outside in the freezing cold and wouldn't even let me dine in despite being a paying customer. But they did let some other people dine in and there was still alot of room there. This was my first time at this location and this was a extremely upsetting experience as they appeared to discriminate again me and lack of costumer service.

Update to the following review. A manager from the location called me and apologized for the service and miscommunication. She made an effort to correct to situation Odered via drive through, asked the person on intercom a question about a an option posted on the menu the response was very close to dismissal. Asked the woman and the manger at the window, the apathy was was very clear and apparent in their lack of interest in question. I thought at least a sign posted on their property menu would be of interest to them. Maybe it was me that failed to garner their interest. I don’t know if it was a language barrier but my concern was not important. I know it’s just McDonald’s but the customer service was horrible. The fries were half full.

This place is always a surprise what you will get. I order a big Mac w/ extra sauce and I got a Big Mac with no sauce and a very long hair on the burger. I visited with my 10 year old daughter today. When we were almost done with our food, we noticed a small gray hair in our fries. I showed the young man who took our order, and he let his manager know. She asked the young man, in Spanish, if he saw the hair. He replied, also in Spanish, yes, but it was small. She tried to play it off like I didn't understand. I answered her in Spanish that it didn't matter if it was small or long, it's nasty. She offered to replace the fries, and I said no thanks. We'd rather our money back. Then she called over a different manager. And he said it could have been mine or my daughter's. First of all, I'm bald and she has long hair. Secondly, that's terrible to accuse. In my mind, it's basically just give the money back and keep it pushing. Instead, he offered 2 McFlurrys, which I didn't take just to take, we were full (of nasty food). He said he "couldn't" refund even the fries. Disgusting, never again.

This location is constantly messing up my order. I swear they don’t look at what the order is before giving it to the customer. Once again i order once thing and they gave me something completely different, and I usually check before leaving but i was in such a hurry that I didn’t check until i got home. Cold, Stale Food and Unnecessary Rudeness — Disappointing Visit. Go to a different location * I understand that working in a busy, understaffed environment can be stressful — I’ve been there myself. No matter how tough my day is at work, I always make sure to treat people with respect because I know it’s not easy for everyone. That’s why my recent visit to this McDonald’s (July 13th,2025 at approximately 11:00pm) was so disappointing. My food was cold and stale when I received it, and I wasn’t given a receipt. When I politely asked for my drink, the manager — who seemed tired and stressed — told me to come back around and slammed the window on me. When I did come back, I was told I needed to pay extra for my drink. I calmly said I would pay but just wanted a receipt. She cut me off, saying she had other customers, and only reluctantly gave me the receipt and my drink after I insisted. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously because good customer service is just as important as fast food. Everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect, especially customers.

Two weeks ago I went to this McDonalds and asked for buffalo sauce multiple times. The final time the woman said it was in the bag. When I got home, I had no buffalo sauce. Today my boyfriend found a long dark hair in his French fries. His hair is short and I’m blonde. I do not recommend this McDonald’s if you don’t want hair in your food and attitude.

I ordered a sweet tea with extra ice… the tea did not have extra ice, it was actually room temperature at the bottom. The tea was also unsweetened!!!! I love my tea sweet. This is the second time I’ve been here in a month, possibly the worst McDonald’s in Nassau County, first issue I had 2 weeks ago I went here ordered the 5 dollar deal someone else ordered the same thing, they tossed my ticket cause they couldn’t read 2 separate people got the same order in a row waited 20 mins then was asked to repay for my meal before I had to read my receipt out for the employee that couldn’t read, again I gave them another chance today just to regret my decision, I ordered the 6 dollar meal deal only to receive incorrect change and the employee working the cashier window couldn’t figure out the math for 20 dollars for a meal costing 6.52 cents with tax this place apparently hires anyone, it’s fast food that is inconvenient and difficult worst of all there are dozens of options all around this place. I’m gonna avoid this location like the plague because they don’t know how to do basic operations, staff training is proven to be non existent at this point and I don’t believe things are gonna change here this location has failed good luck to anyone continuing to go here I would recommend against it highly “my personal opinion to this location”

We had a horrible experience at this store. My friend and I ordered food through different kiosks. First, the lady who identified herself as the store manager served our food, but she refused to fulfill my friend's order because she mistakenly thought she had already done so. Despite clarifying that we had placed two separate orders, she still did not serve my friend. Instead, she approached my table, yelled in front of my kids and other customers, and accused me of not paying for my order, which she had already processed in the system. My children pointed out that the kiosk didn’t print out the receipt, but instead of checking the store system, she asked me to call my credit card company to verify the transaction. I had to expose my personal information in public to confirm the payment. Only then did she serve my friend's food, but she refused to apologize to us, even going so far as to say, 'Call whoever you want.' I am shocked that McDonald's would provide this kind of service. I placed an online order for an apple pie using my loyalty points and arrived at the store to collect it. After waiting for approximately 10 minutes, I noticed that the individual at the cash register, who appeared to be a manager, was engrossed in her mobile phone and not attending to customers.
