Opiniones de Il Porcino Fremont
I have enjoyed each and every time I have visited. I have had a few dishes off the menu and they have been mouthwatering delights. Everything is fresh and they bring cheese and pepper to grind at the table. Very accommodating for a small to med size group. Staff is very responsive my bread nor my water glass were never empty. The owner is a very nice gentleman and has a lot of restaurant experience, remembered my name and what I usually drink. Parking is ok, so give yourself a few minutes to get a good spot. The place is decorated in a vintage and reminds me of the places in the Bronx. Handicap seating is available and I would encourage making a reservation. Quiet place for lunch or dinner. Enjoy !!!
This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Fremont and they never disappoint! Excellent collection of wines and a wide range of reds from Italy. Quick service and their specials are always a hit! Highly recommend getting a reservation for weekend nights, specially for larger groups.
Everything is scratch made. Absolutely delicious.
What a gem!!! Quaint location, awesome atmosphere, and what a great menu. I had the lobster ravioli, and I felt like just moving in (hahahaha). Service and quality of food was amazing. Now one of my favorites.
Beautiful cozy Italian restaurant at downtown Fremont. Delicious fresh food. Fast attentive service. Romantic ambiance but still family friendly.
A cute little restaurant with great food and service. Nice atmosphere for a conversation. Rack of lamb was super tasty. Lobster ravioli were excellent.
Best Italian restaurant in Fremont. They have variety of options to choose from. We had their vegetarian pastas and all of them were delicious. Ambiance is also very nice and service is fast. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely spectacular! Food, service, atmosphere. It’s a small restaurant, with a few tables indoor and some other tables available outdoor. The staff is incredible. If you’ve been to Italy, you won’t miss anything visiting this place. The food is tasty, red sauce is delicious. I’ve tried risotto with scallops and Spaghetti with chicken, both were delicious. I came to this place twice and every time I have a chance, I’ll come back.

Wonderful atmosphere. The food is expertly prepared and is so delicious. I had the Risotto with Scallops and it was so good. Everything I tried was fresh and amazing. Thank you! I will be back again.
Excellent old world Italian cuisine. Friendly staff. We are definitely coming back.

Nice little hole in the wall place with amazing food and wonderful service. Ample parking from across the restaurant. Quiet enough for a cosy meal / date night
I have been here many times, and each experience has been perfect. Even on Valentine's day, when you needed reservations, and they ended up being way more busy than they expected, the food was still superb and the staff respectful and professional. Do not miss out on this hidden gem in Fremont. Worth the drive from nearly any distance.
The portions were large and the food was good. The price point for the food was a bit high for the quality but the service was prompt. The day was nice and sunny and favoured the outdoor seating. Options were plentiful for all dietary requirements. It's a good place for a family get together or catching up with friends casually.
This place is confusing. Fremont is woefully short of decent spot to have an elegant dinner. So this little small restaurant is about as good as it gets. It has the typical Italian ambience - plenty of art in frames on the walls, Italian tenor on the music box, prim waiting staff, and nearly appointed tables. But short on customers. So it was a pretty much couple of people dining and all the tables empty. The food was ok-ish. The bread wasn’t fresh by any stretch the way one would expect in an Italian restaurant. The pasta was made fresh but the sauce was watery. At $50 per person average you would definitely expect better food. May be a few more customers would have made this a near perfect little Italian spot. Or a bit less of Spanish conversation coming out of the kitchen into the dining room. Or simply, fresher bread. In Pleasanton downtown this restaurant would be a 2. But in fremont this is a 4. Sigh.
Went for dinner with family recently. The pics on Google make it look bigger than it really is inside but the atmosphere was warm, the place was full and people were enjoying their food. The serving staff is friendly. We ordered the Allegrini and the Sangiovese red wines. The Allegrini tasted better! Ordered bruschetta as a starter and linguini with chicken added and the vegetarian pasta as the main course. Food was warm and tasty. The place is a bit pricey but I guess it is worth it.
Seemed like a hole in the wall place, but inside had a decent ambience. Reminded me of the Italian restaurents in SF. Servers were attentive. They had a outdoor patio to eat inside. As for the food, lobster ravioli was good, and their bruschetta appetizer was yummy. It will be pricy, but overall it was a nice place to eat with friends.
This is a nice small Italian restaurant in Fremont. It’s more like a casual fine dining. There is indoor seating and limited outdoor seating. There are good amount of vegetarian options. We ordered bruschetta for appetizers, espresso soft drinks for beverages, raviolli ( stuffed with spinach and ricotta), veggie lasagna, triangoli( stuffed with mushroom and Sun dried tomato) in marinara , cheese stuffed pasta with peas on pink sauce, spaghetti with meatballs for mains. We ordered tiramisu, triple chocolate mousse and pistachio cake for desserts. The brunette was average. All the pasta was really great and including the stuffing were delicious. I really liked the triangoli with the marinara. The spinach and ricotta stuffed ravioli with walnut cream sauce was rich and the walnut sauce was great. The desserts especially the triple chocolate mousse and tiramisu was amazing.
Good Italian food at reasonable prices. Just wished their seats had a bit more room 🤣

Appetizer and pasta were OK. Only thing that was out of my line is the dessert. It’s not Gelato, more like groceries store soft serve. And they still charge a lava cake for $18 with a super damp chocolate lava cake, some cream and a spoon of half melted soft serve vanilla ice cream which was advertised as “gelato”
Atmosphere at this place is fine. The service is very good, but the food is a complete disappointment. For the prices they’re charging the food is mediocre at best. My daughter had the lobster ravioli, which tasted terrible and the portions were very small. I had the vegetable fettuccine which again was mediocre, I’ve had significantly better.

The most expensive frozen pizza “Margherita” and cold spaghetti with fake parmesan. This "Italian" restaurant pissed me off for several reasons. The environment is quite clean and nice, but the food is terrible and the service is not great. My husband and I each ordered one simple pizza, which had absolutely nothing to do with Italian pizza. We waited a long time for our food, the table that came after we had already ordered got their food before we did. I don't mind waiting for good food, but this was awful, both pizzas were semi-finished, probably frozen, see photo. We ordered spaghetti with parmesan for our daughter. When the waiter brought the spaghetti without parmesan, I asked him for it and he was back a moment later and grated "something" on my daughter's partially cold spaghetti, it was definitely not freshly cooked spaghetti but badly heated and most importantly it was not parmesan. The waiter was otherwise nice but if he didn't have parmesan he should have said so. We didn't finish the pizza, it was impossible to eat even when we were extremely hungry and my daughter wouldn't touch the spaghetti with the fake parmesan, when I tasted her pasta I couldn't get mad at her for not wanting to eat it at all. That was the worst restaurant we've ever been to in America. Never again!
Paid $60 for two tiny portions of pathetic food. Pasta is not handmade, seafood isn’t fresh, veal is mushy and has no sear. No effort in presentation. Worst meal in years.
