Le Petite Magnifique

I am leaving this review both as a vendor and as a pastry client of several years. I photographed a wedding two weeks ago where the cake artist was French's Cupcake Bakery. As you can see in the attached photo, the cake was beautifully decorated and arrived in perfect shape to the venue (something we photographers appreciate). Now a small disclaimer: I am a cake lover, so when clients hire me, I make it a point to inform them that they *have to* feed me cake. With that in mind, you are right to believe that I eat a lot of cake, haha. Well, I am happy to report that aside from being beautiful, this cake was delicately sweet and extremely moist --a delicious cake all around!

So delicious! We tried the strawberry and chocolate cream rolls, the Kouign-amann, and the cinnamon rolls—all delicious! The pastries were excellent. There were many other pastries, both puff pastry and non-puff pastry, cheesecake, and various desserts... but we couldn't try everything, but we wanted to 😋... it was all very tempting! It's worth stopping in, even if you're not on the way! Highly recommended. Parking on site.

You can tell the owner of this bakery truly cares about the products she puts out. Every time I have patronized this establishment they go above and beyond. The quality of the pastries is second to none. And I absolutely will keep coming back.

What a great find it was! I stopped on my way because I was curious about the bakery and had to taste my usual set: a cappuccino with almond croissant. Coffee was excellent, just the right strength and tasted great. I asked for oat milk and it was delicious. The croissant was baked to perfection and the size was too big to finish in one sitting, so I ended up taking the rest out. I also found out that the lady who served me was the owner. She was so nice and accommodating! I absolutely plan on making it my go to place for pastries and caffeine fix.

I have been here twice with my mother when we are in the area. The owner is super funny and very nice! Their cupcakes and cookies are so yum!!! I got thr Red Velvet Cupcake, the Peanut Butter Brownie Cupcake, two chocolate chocolate chip cookies and two chocolate chip cookies. All were very chocolatey and decadent! We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful bakery! Used them for my wedding and was very pleased. French’s personalized desserts and gave me just what I wanted. They were also helpful with the delivery process in making sure the desserts arrived on time. TASTES AMAZING TOO! Would definitely use again or recommend for any occasion.

Bought a carrot cake for my husband's birthday party. He is picky about carrot cake, and this exceeded his expectations. Moist, dense and lots of frosting!!

I ordered custom cupcakes and cookies for my birthday and they were beautifully decorated, just like I asked! Also they tasted great! I always go here for special occasions to order desserts and they never disappoint! I highly recommend.

Pastries taste great but not sure if I will ever order a cake from them given the multiple and consistent complaints about the owner not treating some customers right, in particular, whenever there is a disagreement. Customers may not remember how your pastries taste, but they will remember how the owner made them feel.

The croissant was super heavy, not flaky. My strawberry muffin seemed just like a box of strawberry cake mix. I was expecting quality baked goods but was disappointed. Wouldn't consider coming back. EDIT: Look at the comparison in the croissants... the light airy one is how they should be.

Really unimpressed - service was mediocre, little macaroons were $4 each! Few items had flavors listed and they charged a .50 handling fee for container they placed mini cake in.

Beware, this is not the same bakery it once was. Extremely disappointed in the quality of the pastries. Stopped in while in CA. Our family had been local customer's for over 35 years. From weddings, birthdays, baby showers to memorials and always enjoyed the quality and service. Not any longer. The new ownership and individuals managing the bakery have not kept the quality nor service at the caliber French's has been known to provide. Disappointed
