This is a very pleasing Starbucks in a great Marina del Rey location.

Super nice. Sense of humor. Not overly crowded. The vibe at this mall in MDR is perfect for the Holidays....Sinatra on the mall radio...Tesla's in the parking lot.

Recently renovated, nicely done! Always a friendly staff. Seems to be less seating with the renovation but there is a large outdoor sitting area with tables 👍

When it comes to Starbucks, each location has it's own vibe. At this Starbucks it is busy, but you get great service. The staff knows how to make the drinks perfectly, parking is fairly easy and it's relaxed. The really cool thing about this location is the places to sit. You've got the inside seating - like at any other Starbucks - then you have the outside seating area. Being so close to the ocean it's the perfect place to watch the sunset and feel the breeze of the ocean air. Perfect for your outside office to work on the laptop and definitely an impressive place to meet people.

This is a review in general for all the Starbucks that I've been to around the country. I primarily use the mobile app which is fantastic. It really is very helpful for being on the move. Saves a lot of time. Quality is always consistent.

I went to this starbucks today and the atmosphere is perfect for studying, getting work done and taking a moment. Excellent customer service and I appreciate the 9:30 pm closing time. There are no electrical outlets, that is the drawback of this location.

The most friendly and helpful team of any Starbucks I've ever frequented. I know most of them by name, and they all know my name and my regular drink. It's like the CHEERS of coffee houses. Great fountain to sit by and enjoy your coffee outdoors, too!

Marcos and his team are amazing. In a time where we are all dealing with things, the first thing Marcos asks(genuinely) was, “how’s your day.” I hope that people are treating service/ hospitality workers with the utmost respect, because they are too frontline workers. The positivity and great service is what keeps me coming back!

A location in a busy shopping center. The store has entrances in the front and back of the store. Seating is very limited inside the store but there is shared outside seating with other restaurants.

Very busy location. Entrances from front and rear of store made forming a line confusing for some. Line was 25 people deep at 8am and took quite a while. Seemed like the coffee prep counter was much smaller than the traffic needs required...which slowed their time efficiency. They were doing well with what they were provided with from corporate. The barista was generally helpful and sported a nice smile for all customers I'm line. Seating was sparse and generally unkempt. There was no comfortable seating areas for an extended stay. I would rate this as a location in need of a face lift asap. Product was as expected.

Asked for a "lightly sweetened" drink. All they did was take the regular drink and water it down. This was a drink from concentrate, but they could have at least mixed it with coffee. I practically just paid $5 for a cup of bad tasting sugar water...

The worse Starbucks I have ever been to. Everything is an issue these days. You can order, pay and ask for something at the register, then when you pick up your order everything is a problem and they give you serious attitude. Customer service is horrible even when not busy. I have gone to multiple Starbucks since and have stopped going to this one. No one makes a big deal or complains about stuff the way the baristas do at this location. Now, I drive further away to avoid this location at all costs. There are at least 5 locations nearby and none ever give me the attitude or make a big deal of the things they do. The baristas need better training. Anything you ask for (and order when placing your order) is an issue. Asking for a stirrer, a green stopper, a bit more milk, a tray, etc. Poor management. One guy who appears to be a manager is extreme friendly; he’s the only saving grace. But nothing is done when you mention issues. Never again.

Closed this morning ‘due to weather’. Now I understand businesses need to be closed on occasion for certain operational reasons, but loyal customers deserve a better explanation than that when they rock up to a store. That was pretty insulting.

The person preparing the drinks today 5/21/25 around 7am got my order wrong I told her what I ordered she rudely said you will have to wait she made about 10 other drinks then the lady who took my order came over and told her something then she started my order (no apology nothing) my drink (lavender matcha latte) which I order all the time was weak, not much flavor at all

Website and signage says they close at 10 pm today but door was locked at 9:50 and the two men working in there looked up when I tried to enter but did come unlock the door. Website says the average time people spend there is 10 minutes so they could have accommodated my business. Saw other people try the door after I walked away.

Visited this Starbucks on 11/08/2024 at around 3:15 pm and witnessed how hostile and rude the barista was to an old Asian lady who clearly didn’t know how to pick up her order, the barista was a curly black hair lady who spoke so rudely to the lady. My barista ignored me when she gave me my drinks and I asked for straws, when I asked a second time for it she gave a nasty look and finally handed me the straws. I understand the job is hectic and a very busy location, but it’s not the customer’s fault. We go to Starbucks to buy coffee not to be treated with disrespect and rudeness. My drink was also made wrong, the extras I asked for weren’t added and the drink tasted so bad compared to other locations.

Terrible!!!! Closed both bathrooms at 8:30PM while customers still using the store. I asked to use restroom and was denied use and treated rudely by an arrogant night mgr Tyler who told me to go use the bathroom next door even though I was their customer, embarrassing me in front of other customers, purchased coffee there, and have been coming to there since last May of 2023. I told him I may not come back as a customer who has spent a lot of money there which the manager didn't even respond. He just said No!!!

Unsanitary practices. The woman who made our lattes wiped the steam nozzle with a cloth and never steamed it. I couldn't drink it and brought it to her attention. Another attendant joined in and they offered to make us new lattes. Okay. Again, she wiped the steam nozzle, but didn't steam/sanitize it. Again I pointed it out at which time the two jumped angrily in a raised voice "What's your problem. She steamed it. Just because you didn't see it or hear, doesn't mean she didn't steam it and we can give you your money back." Wow. The women from hell. I shall never come there. Of course I poured out the latte when I got home.

Its always refreshing to go to Starbucks. I especially love the complimentary chocolate and vanilla powder! But, one thing that really upsets me is; the way they are phasing out 'free' hot water to customers. And, to make it even worse, Starbucks is slowly making a sweep through thier franchise and covering ALL of thier electrical outlets so we cannot charge or phones there anymore...what a let down.

Worst Starbucks. My drink was wrong so I called and spoke to the manager and I was given a free drink the next time I came in. I went in to get it and it was still wrong. I didn’t get extra caramel drizzle around the cup and on the bottom like I asked for. They need better training at this location.

This Starbucks removed the outlets. This Starbucks would prefer I go to another coffee shop. This Starbucks doesn’t want my money. And they did not get it. And No the outlets on the lampposts don’t freakin work either. I’ve been in many many Starbucks up and down the west coast 6,800 miles I’ve walked so far. Starbucks USED to be one of my helpers. Help keep me and my electronics charged on the walk. Thank you Starbucks for helping to make a difficult journey even more difficult. Thanks

The management here really sucks. They encourage plastic use, if you order in a glass cup they won’t let you sit outside even at their own tables right in front of their door, even if it’s full inside and they have the AC blasting at 45 degrees they make you leave your cup inside and use plastic.

I’m a very loyal Starbucks customer. I probably spend an average of $20-30 a day. I came to this store planning to use the restroom first and then make a purchase. But they didn’t give me the code. I showed them my account, yet they didn’t even check to see that I use Starbucks every day. It felt very rude and disrespectful. Their attitude was far from the true spirit of Starbucks we all know.

I asked for a lighter roast today and got what tasted okay at first—but by the end, I swallowed a sludge that felt like French kissing Slimer from Ghostbusters. It was disgusting. I don’t know if it was the drip dispenser or poor cleaning, but there was something seriously off with the brew. A cup of coffee should not end like that. Please check your machines and filters. At least I have game.
