Report of not worth the wait To go boxes Nice restaurant design Nice people Good chocolate milk Thick whipped cream Hot passable coffee Reasonably priced Free individualy wrapped candy Corned beef hash and eggs Hash was good, eggs were cooked perfectly as ordered, if any complains to be found the toast might have been under toasted Belgium waffle (special) Tasty fluffy waffle. Sweet strawberries and creamy whipped cream. Could have eaten two! French toast It was good but not very French Toasty. Girls bathroom One person, optional air, two soaps, very nice Boys bathroom Nice decor and clean Summary Great food, amazing service ,worth the wait (which probably won’t be long for you) Would recommend (: five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is no longer Suzie's Diner, it R&S cafe and Grill. Please stop in we have great food.
Everything was very good. Homemade hash was not too salty. Malted Belgium Waffle with fresh frout was not overly sweet. Susie's famous Benedict was fresh and delicious, also not salty. We will be back soon!
The food is homemade, and they are always busy. There's plenty of seating for small groups (4 or less), a larger group would be tough. The staff is quick and friendly, and always come around with the coffee pot at least twice during your lunch. It's a great place for a quick bite, or piece of homemade pie and cup of coffee.
This little diner is clean and has charming decor- including the restroom! Their blueberry pancakes were delicious, the best I've had anywhere. The prices are reasonable. The service was excellent and very friendly. Suzie's Cafe certainly made a great first impression for me.
I was looking for something affordable and filling. Stumbled upon this diner and got exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere is very small town and friendly. It’s definitely got a retro vibe going on. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious and filling. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. Everything tasted fresh and loved that they didn’t hold back on the boom boom sauce. I’ve always loved diners and this one is definitely at the top of my list. My bill came out to about $12 with my soda. (Free refills by the way)
My regular breakfast stop- can't beat the good food and superior service! The diner gets busy but there is overflow seating in back. Love the car shows on Fridays in the summer too. Something for everyone, Burgers, haddock, salad plates, soups- and how about the mac and cheese omelet?!?!?! yum!f
Ok, ok, I get blue... the dark clouds congregate over my head and the rain sometimes never seems to leave. Then I see a diner with a packed parking lot. Welcoming its arms wide open like an old friend were the coffee flows and waitresses call me hun. I drank all the coffee I could, I ate a Absolutely delicious Greek omelet with feta, tomato, and spinach with a couple of pieces of bacon on the side. I tell them to hold the toast and the home fries as I fight to the keep the carbs at a minimum. The world may still be in trouble, but I feel a little bit better because of Susie's Lakeland diner. "Thanks hun.... hope too see you again!"
Breakfast. Food was fine. Breakfast sandwich was large. Cafe is small, cozy. Unfortunately, the 4 women at the next table were having so much fun that we had to yell to each other to be heard over them. Hopefully our next visit will be better
Suzie's Cafe, located on State Fair Boulevard in Syracuse, New York, is a small, comfortable dining establishment specializing in breakfast and lunch only. We arrived around 10:30 on a Saturday morning to find the dining area moderately filled. We took a seat in the corner and were promptly greeted by our server, who was extremely pleasant and conversational. After serving us a coffee and orange juice, she navigated us through the menu choices, further explaining that although omelettes were not on the menu, they were certainly an option. We decided upon a ham, sausage, and cheese omelette, as well as one with mushrooms , tomatoes, and cheese, both of which came with home fries and toast. Both omelettes were very good. Although not overly stuffed with our choices of fillings, they were enough to satisfy our appetite. The home fries were pretty bland, even with the added onions. I found myself adding salt a couple of times, even though I very rarely put salt on anything. Also the toast was a bit soggy. By the time we departed around 11:45, Suzie's was almost filled to capacity. The cafe is clean, inviting, tastefully decorated, and has a friendly atmosphere. The lunch menu also includes burgers and sandwiches, among other items. If you're looking for a no-nonsense meal without all the bells and whistles, there's no doubt Suzie's Cafe will satisfy your needs.
So the place looks like it would have amazing food. I love the decor and the little cute Diner appeal. But when the drinks and food came out it was very disappointing. It says all over the menu that the corned beef hash is homemade but it's clearly from a can and they definitely had cans of corned beef on a shelf in the kitchen that you can look in through window. And if you see in my other reviews I definitely know my homemade corned beef and love it. The toast was nothing special and everybody knows how to flip an egg or two. I ordered an orange juice and it was a child size at an adult price. Meh most likely wouldn't return.
We were looking for a diner for dinner and suites popped up so we decided to give it a try. We pulled in and it was closed on a Friday evening. So we decided to try it for breakfast because it said Cafe on the sign so thought the might be open only for breakfast and lunch. They were closed on Saturday morning too. No sign saying they were closed for vacation or whatever
I've been coming here for quite awhile. And yes, they've screwed my order up a few times. But yesterday, is THE LAST TIME they will screw up my order. A simple order. Western omelet, home fries, bacon well done crispy. It's always the same order. The omelet was runny in the middle. The home fries were burnt and almost mashed potatoes?? The bacon was limp and greasy as hell. So basically, I PAID FOR FOOD POISONING!! It's the LAST TIME I will ever go there. It's no wonder y'all are mean and hateful up here .Your food SUCKS!!!! Sometimes I just don't feel like cooking. But damn y'all.. I guess it's time to find a new diner. Good bye Suzie. I've given you more than enough chances!!
