We had some of the best customer service I've experienced at a fast food restaurant. The store was clean, the food was hot and done correctly, and the staff were friendly. It is obvious this staff takes pride in their restaurant, it has been a VERY long time since I've seen a McDonald's where staff clean the store between customers rather than sit on their phones

They were SLAMMED when we came by tonight, but everyone was working so hard to get through it, and our meal was exactly as we ordered. I was starving and hadn't eaten a meal in DAYS. The food was absolutely delicious. Specifically, David did a great job at keeping up. He seemed to be everywhere at once, handling everything with haste but also total calm. We had a special necessity for our meal which he promptly took care of. I have never been so happy to be in McDonald's, and David especially made my experience absolutely perfect. Thank you guys, you handled this rush very well!

Went to this McDonald's, I typically don't eat fast food but was really hungry. I was greeted by the most adorable smile and friendly voice. Desiree took my order and was so nice and had the biggest smile. Definitely worth a trip back just to see that smile again.

This is probably one of my favorite Mc donalds locations, for starters everything is clean, the staff are friendly and they have a nice dine in set up and they will bring your food to you at your table. which is nice.

Service and staff are great. It' s clean. Always fairly busy. Its McDonald's so you know what your getting.

We all know McDonald's, they switch breakfast to lunch at 10:30am. All drinks are 1$ and most of the workers are very nice and respectful

Like most McDonald's ... Clean, efficient, pretty organized. Food is the same at all other McDonald's (sometimes fresh sometimes not so much). Really have to work on getting the fries 🍟 fresher. Plenty of seating, but to bad of a wait, drive thru was busy.

Place is clean, spacious and open with booths, tables and even a raised table with taller chairs and TV viewing. Employees helpful. Only complaint is French fries are sometimes not fresh. Prices high but so is everything everywhere since COVID. **This place was one of very few who kept serving during worst part of COVID where everyone else closed.***Thank you!

We generally avoid fast food unless we're travelling. In this case, we are in the midst of home renovations and needed a quick bite. We were surprised to find our local McDonald's had been fully redone. We have entered the 21st Century with ordering kiosks. The restaurant was clean and the food was hot. NYS Thruway travelers can feel comfortable stopping here. (Just know the entrance is one-way.)

The top came off my diet coke when the girl at the window gave it to me. She looked surprised but didnt offer me a towel, napkins or another soda. What a disappointment. It was 92 degrees out and I had been on the road 3 hours. I forgive her cause my nugs were delish.

They get backed up pretty easily and ive had a pretty good times where i had wrong order or stuff was missing even charged extra for and went back 3 times to get it corrected and just giving up wasting my time gas money cuz they mess up but most of the time they stay at like a 80% fresh food if the wait is a little bit longer than average i love trying now things from different places McDonald's usally has the best display for new food and advertisements and i enjoy eat so its like a 50/50 turnout for each situation

I was impressed with how clean it was when we first walked in. But then went to use the bathroom and that wasn't as clean. And once we sat down to eat there were so many flies. But the food and the service were good!

The french fries are a little stale, but the portions are good! The restraurant is very clean. The customer staff is respectfull, friendly and fast. The price is right. They have a donation box. Customers are welcome to donate.

It's McDonald's. This one is fairly competent. During COVID, you can currently dine in with some booths closed off to promote social distancing. The staff will now bring out food to you after you order. UPDATE: As of Nov. 23, 2020, the dining has closed due to the pandemic.

Service was slow but the food was okay. It wasn't a very good McDonald's location overall.

Food was perfect. Staff was great. Self service kiosk was annoying (no simple "back" button) so I ordered from counter. Plenty of other McD's locations either make it as hard as possible to order from counter, some McD's intentionally make it practically impossible. But this Palatine Bridge location made ordering from counter quick, easy & very friendly. Nice clean interior. Owner posts his name & number on the door very clearly - that's a great sign. This particular store did everything perfect. My only complaint is with McD's scummy corporate decisions like intentionally making menu as difficult as possible. I'm surprised it's even legal to have such an intentionality-difficult menu! Also, McD's corporate office decided to essentially, scam extra money out of people any 'clever' way they can. For example, all drink sizes are the same price ($1). The price difference between a medium and large french fry is 30¢ but when one upgrades from a medium meal to a large meal, the medium-to-large price increase for THOSE 'Value Meal' french fries is suddenly 60¢ because McD's corporate executives are shameful, conniving scumbags.

Not the top quality food but not gonna lie for a fast food place it is good. Many times they mess up your order but that happens quite frequently and doesn't anger me at all. The staff aren't bad which is always surprising and enjoyable.

Granted I had three grandchildren with me but we told what we wanted, they completely screwed up the order and when I brought back the screwed up order they made me pay for the corrected version.

For the last 3 weeks I've asked for my nuggets FRESH, apparently fresh means the heated. They are extremely crispy parts are in unable to chew and others are like chewing rubber

I have read a few of the other reviews of the this McDonald's and would have to disagree. Let me start by saying that am basing this review upon comparison to other McDonald's that I have been to, let's face it and say it would not be fare to compare a fast food restaurant with any other type of restaurant. I have been to this restaurant many times and this is a compiled opinion. The staff is slow. You are going to wait for your food wether they are busy or if you are the only one there. I have seen food that was made for my order set for minutes before being brought to the pass. They seam to be unorganized in the way they prioritize orders. I have seen my order wait on the warmer while food that was prepared after mine was sent out of the drive thru. The tables where dirty on my last visit. I went with my third choice of seating since the first two were dirty. The men's room urinal has been out of order on more than one of my visits to this store. The restroom was also not to clean, not only was it lacking cleaning but also in need of maintenance. Throughout the seating area there were lights that needed replacing, some were blinking and others not at all. The food is average for a McDonald's. My overall opinion is that this store is in desperate need of better management and staff training.

Had to go there for husband. He likes this place. Why?. Prices are outrageous for fast food. Then tell the employee that was waiting on me that after she was done serving customers to go clean bathroom. Yuk. Glad o don't eat there. Won't be back.

Constantly getting orders wrong whethers its burgers or drinks! Ordered my kids cheeseburger happy meals and my daughter ended up with a mcchicken in hers and then they couldnt even get the drink sizes correct after i told the girl 5 times what size and what drink the wait in the drive thru line is horrendus most times its 20+ minutes i only continue to go there cuz my son is obssesed with mcds n hes autistic so i try to accommodate all i can for him! Otherwise i would not and i wouldnt recommend

I gave a code to the “ shift manager”that was 20%off and said that the code was invalid that I gave her. I asked how we could fix it and she said her hands were tied. If the app doesn’t work then what use is the “deal “. She was rude and not helpful whatsoever.

The food was so nasty it was cold and it taste like is was sitting and old. The fries tasted like foam. And we were missing items!

This place is so slow. The drive thru wait is so ridiculous. It’s always 10-15 minutes and then they usually forget something. I wish there were other fast food places in town to choose from. Maybe then they would step up their service

Best word to describe my experience was sloppy. I ordered two sandwiches and they were thrown together without trying to keep anything aligned. The flavor was standard and in my mind it's always going to be better than it really is. I told myself this a few months ago after eating at another McDonald's that I wasn't going to be that desperate again. However, fat boy genes don't lie and there I was, finding myself in the drive thru one late afternoon looking for something delicious and being disappointed.

Ordered two meals, get to the window and always they never put the drinks in a tray.Im driving.Can’t hold them.Then gives drinks with tray after I had to ask for it( no customer service,sir would you like a tray?) Then comes back after a minute and says waiting on fries and if you could pull around to double doors.I did.Waited 12 minutes for French fries?BS Same girl who never asked if I needed a tray I asked her 12 minutes for French fries? There is no body ordering food at the drive through.aI can see it where they told me too park. Lies.Pulled out and there were two cars waiting to pick food up at the drive through. 12 minutes for French fries so that meant the burgers were not fresh. Everytime we get food ..it's made sloppy and fries are always old . Can't keep up with the McDonald's app ..when I order ahead they don't see it until I'm there arguing with them that I made a order ..also how do you get a very undercooked burger from a fast food place?! Also no gloves while making food and staff do unsanitary stuff while handling food .. I give up on this place

This is literally the third time they’ve messed my order up. Drove from 15 minutes away to get food for my father and get all the way home, and his order isn’t even in there. Refused to refund me over the phone - which they’ve done in the past, I have the bank receipt to show for it - and said they’d comp me a free meal. Now they put my money aside for me to come back and get, except it’ll take me that much in gas to go get it.

This place sucks. Good is always cold the fries are never done they mess up on who’s paying what are the drive they they over charge you and they they won’t give it back. So I went to the Palentine Bridge McDonald's drive thru and the manager was in the window. Then before I could say anything she told me I needed to order inside! Then she told me to stop recording her with my phone, when I just had the phone out to browse!So my sister said that this was our only way of transportation. Then the manager started to cus us out, started yelling at us and saing she would call the police if we didn't leave or order inside!!!!! The worst part is she took two cars before us!

Poor sandwich, overpriced, and can't even get good customer service. Bought 2 breakfast sandwich combos, paid almost 20 dollars for a shifty experience. FYI they no longer include orange juice (upcharged 1.69) or med hot coffee (upcharged .70) in your meal. STEWARTS GETS YOU 2 eggwiches and your choice of Stewart's drinks (coffee included) for ONLY $10. It's your choice people. Don't fall for the marketing scheme.

The slowest McDonald's have ever been to you could go home cook a dinner and still be faster. if you order from here 10 times probably two of them times will have the correct order by far the worst.

Dear macdonalds . . If your going to charge as much as a dennys,or ihop for a meal your going to havr to step it up . For a long time no one have a poop abouta sub par food oroservice becase a value meal was cheap .This is a small town so we deal with things very passvly. Over the last year this location has consistently given us incorrect orders . Nothing fancy just simply the wrong food . Not complaining about extra cheese or pickels . I mean ordering burgers and getting fish . Or getting a bigmac with plastic from the lettece bag in the sandwich. Dr pepper instead of coke ... Just all around bad service . This is the worst mcdonald's ive been too it has flys all over the inside and I watched this guy order 2 mcchickens and they were completely burnt and black and he asked to reorder them but it took more than 25 mins, i got a 20 piece chicken nugget and they were also burnt, this happens all the time they do not know how to cook.

Slower than molasses in wintertime. They have been getting worse and worse and just leaving ppl at the drive in screen without so much as saying hi I'll be with you in a minute. Nothing at the order screen but silence and then after 2 minutes go by without a wordill say hello or excuse me, and then they reply with an attitude ssying yeah hold on we're short staffed. Lmao never ever a sorry about the wait.

Possibly the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I live in area so this McDonald’s is always an easy place to stop, but every time I do I always regret it . They ALWAYS forget the sauce, sometimes forget the fries, and for whatever reason always have a long wait time, even if your the only person in the drive thru. Yeah I’m going to keep going there and probably regretting it, it’s McDonald’s you can’t expect much, but seriously guys. Get it together.

Every time I go here Between 7 o'clock and 9 o'clock There's always A-line which is not a big deal but when I get to the window when I only order 2 meals and an extra cheeseburger and I have to wait for 12 cars after me to get my food. It's ridiculous these people Behind the counter when you get to the window running around like chickens with the heads cut off or they're just standing there staring at space .. The Evening staff either needs more people or better training I've even had half cooked burgers A few times.

Ordered 55 $ worth of food dine in and they forgot to bring my 2 happy meals when they brought the food... waited 10 minutes as my young children cried on the happy meals to be told by the employee i was snobby for asking about them.... also forgot to give me straws none of the drink machines work in the lobby no ketchup in the lobby scared to ask for some because i dont want to be snobby.... if u are paying this lady 15 bucks an hour ur paying too much super lazy dosent want to be at work....

went through drive thru, ordered $30.00 worth of food to get filler as a drink? ordered coke which is dark in color, got clear drinks. didn't notice due to being night time. got 2 miles away went back and drive thru was packed so went inside. stood there for 20 minutes and no acknowledgement of even standing there. meanwhile my food is getting cold in my car. finally said hello to the drivethru kid as he said they were out of coke to another customer. he asked what I wanted to do about it. I want something to drink so I can go out and eat my now cold food. terrible service at this location but unfortunately not enough around later at night

Drive thru was not working had to order at window. Got to second window and it took 10 minutes to get part of order and the worker left to help change a money drawer new girl came to window 15 minutes later to give me my other half of order. Fries were cold, mcflurries started to melt waiting. If drive thru is down put up a sign at the beginning not at the end.

One star is more than they deserve. Everytime I need something fast I go through the drive thru. When was 20 minutes considered fast food. And when you get it your fries are cold! For the money go to a diner. Better food in the same time.

I recently went through the drive thru at this location. I ordered a cheeseburger happy meal for my 7 year old son. When he opened his burger, he told me someone had taken bites out of his cheeseburger. It was dark in the car, so I asked him to pass it up to me, and when he handed it to me, I was holding a half eaten cheeseburger in my hand. We weren’t even out of there 3 minutes when we noticed this, but I was almost to the thruway and it was snowing pretty bad, so I opted to call the restaurant to tell them what happened. Obviously I was angry and disgusted but I kept my cool, but they completely brushed me off. I called again this morning to speak with the General Manager. I am still awaiting a phone call back.

Absolutely the worst Mc Donald's I've ever been to. I've given this place endless chances to improve. There is ALWAYS a line. ALWAYS A WAIT. If that isnt enough there is a double drive through to help speed up the orders and process, IF whom ever is "working" decides to choose your drive through and not let many others who come AFTER you through the other. Absolutely hate this place. If not for being one of the only places in town to eat and my children's love for Mc Donald's food I'd never ever go back nor would I suggest anyone else go there. I am never one to complain but this place is absolutely horrible. The owner needs to clean house or put someone in there who can run that place properly. Sad.

Very slow if even moderately busy. They ignore the people inside to tend to people in the driveway, if someone takes the time to come inside, they should be priority. Also saw a disgusting lady walk behind the counter with her kid like she owned the place, demanded the next quarter pounder and got her way. Seems like if you know someone who works at this establishment you get to break all the rules you like. Disgusting atmosphere and many of the older staff are rude/grumpy.

It doesn’t matter what time you go or what you order, it will take absolutely forever to come out, and yet it will still be either wrong or ice cold, or if you’re lucky enough both! You wait ridiculously long for cold over priced food.

I don’t normally write reviews and I normally don’t have an issue at McDonalds. I come here often to order food. But tonight I came through and I’m in drive thru which has a long line. It’s dinner time so it’s to be expected. But I get to the speaker to order and I was completely ignored. I sat there for over 10 minutes while they took MULTIPLE cars on the other speaker. Cars that had showed up 5 minutes after I had already been waiting. I continued to wait. Even moved my car up a little to see if they just didn’t know I was there. Nothing. I waited until the line behind me was completely gone because I couldn’t even pull out to simply leave and they still took ANOTHER order on the other speaker. And they had taken orders on the same speaker I was in before me so it wasn’t broken. I don’t know what was going on but I’m angry I sat in line for over 20 minutes to be completely ignored. Especially when I come here often and never have issues.

One night where there was five cars ahead of me at the drive thru and there was obviously new staff working. Service was incredibly slow. I only ordered a Happy Meal for my one child. While in line, I then ordered a pizza for my other family members. By time I got through line 45 MINITES LATER, the pizza had been done for over 15 minutes. Then at the window, the worker tried giving me the wrong order. I told him I had a Happy Meal with a smoothie. He said he would go make the smoothie, and he then proceeds to go to the front counter to take an order!?!. Three minutes more of waiting at the window and this guy manager comes over and tries giving me the wrong order again. I tell him nicely I had the Happy Meal. Three more minutes of waiting and they finally give me the Happy Meal and smoothie. Meanwhile, my son was crying and I was wondering why this took longer than a pizza order or heck a sit down meal in a diner. Fast food??? I called corporate and the girl listened to my concern and was nice. She said the store manager would reach out. A few days later someone from Joe Gialil's office called and said the store manager would reach out, but I guess store manager Amanda didn't have the time or care, because I never heard from her. Let me contrast this terrible experience with one I had at Little Falls McDonald's the following week. Waited in line for like 15 minutes at the drive through. Got to the window and the shift manager apologized and offered me a free meal next time I came out to their restaurant. Palatine McDonald's take a lesson in customer service from these guys. Once Dunkin comes in to Palatine you'll no longer be the only fast food I don't have to get out of my car place in town. Step up your game or get pushed aside

UPDATE: I have been meaning to update this review for a long time and finally have time to do it. This restaurant had to hire several new people I think and there have been several times my friends, husband, other family members, and I have had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. We have even driven to the Fonda or Little Falls McDonalds because it is less hassle. We have all had our orders messed up on and off as well. My friend wanted a sausage and was given a english muffin. She drove back and was given a biscuit. Then she had to go inside just to get the sausage. We have also started buying pizza instead as the wait time is often shorter to wait for pizza to cook. There have been instances where I have ordered pizza for the family and I was late picking it up because I was prisoner at the drive thru waiting for a happy meal for one family member. I won't order their iced tea anymore because one time it had nasty white stuff in the cup like paper towel lint or something. There was one time I ordered and was told to pull ahead and wait. I waited for over 45 minutes...this doesn't include the 20 minutes just to get to the window. I even called them on the phone worried that they forgot about me. It made me late to where I needed to go. After I finally received my order I was very upset to find they had messed it up. I even called corporate to complain. A manager called me from the Palentine McDonald's and did a very sub-par apology and didn't do anything to make it right or even to offer to fix the order mistake. I really haven't gone much since that experience. It really is too bad because it is the only fast food place in the area. Once the rumored Dunkin opens I probably will never go to this McDonald's again except for breakfast unless they fix their issues. Breakfast is when they have the more seasoned staff I think because it seems to run better. I miss the way it used to be. PAST REVIEW SEE UPDATE: Food is better than a lot of McDonald's. They are also SUPER FAST. Way faster than others. Super kudos to that. Sometimes they make mistakes on orders but are pretty good about making things right. Overall, one of the better McDonald's for sure. I'm always amazed by how fast they are and they are almost always really busy. You don't have to wait very long. Great job! Also, I feel like they are super friendly and really do a great job at customer service. Everyone seems really kind.

I lived near this McDonald’s so I did go here once in a while when desperate to get a steak egg and cheese bagel. First off the employees were not very nice especially in the drive thru . The food was not very good as well . The place itself was dirty . Service was so slow as well as poor you notice it no matter how laid back you are . South Carolina as well as the Long Island, New York restaurants could teach them a thing or two . Go to island lake to get a better experience!!!

I usually don't have a problem but when you have two very dirty dogs in there walking around without a leash all over the place and my kids got to sniffing dog hair while they're eating it's disgusting with their tonight 05/25/25 the manager seem to be okay with it as he walked around and petted the dogs while back there serving food I'm horrified and disgusted I wish I could let their district manager know

The fries for my meal were burnt and cold, almost as if they put this batch aside for certain people. The drive thru was moving and inside, the store wasn’t busy. When I went inside to tell the manager that my fries wouldn’t pass as acceptable, he buzzed the intercom. A woman who was obviously cleaning the bathrooms and mopping the store pulling the bucket and mop comes to me and asks if she can help. Odd considering the manager is standing right near the fryer. I tell her what I told the manager, my fries needed to be replaced. She goes over to the fryer, with her rubber cleaning gloves on and in full view of the manager and staff present and scoops and puts some fries in a bag. Then he tells her to do something else specific while she is holding my food, wearing the same gloves she was cleaning with. She disappeared briefly, returned and then placed the food on the counter. Her gloves looked wet. I took the food, deposited it in the trash. This was done on purpose, clearly. Find the store camera footage. I called the franchisee’s number on the receipt during business hours and got a machine. On the second try I got through. Pat was nice and offered me some free fries. “No thanks, but could you get to that inside the store camera and get back to me?” Still no response.

Disaster yesterday. Drive thru line did not move. Took absolutely forever to pay, then another long wait for food. Which was stone cold when it finally arrived. No apology, explanation from staff. Who seemed untrained... just awful. Normally not like this but the food has been cold last couple of times I've been there. I imagine they're having staffing issues like everyone else. Plus, did you know - NYS is forcing small business owners - like the franchise owner of this eatery - to pay for their reckless unemployment policies by charging them an "assessment" on top of their regular unemployment insurance payments to the dept. Of labor. These vote buying policies are the reasons these businesses are being crippled with staffing shortages. Stop voting for Democrats and maybe you'll be able to get your fast food in a timely manner and in a more appetizing condition.

The next day we called the manager and were informed that the order could not be refunded and to just come get the food now. We explained we don’t live around there and the solution they came up with was putting our name in a book and if we are ever in the area we could come and get our food. I’m honestly flabbergasted that a cooperation like McDonald’s comes up with a solution like putting a name in a book. If I could give this location zero stars I would purely based on this experience I would, I’m honestly mind blown.

The guy who checked us out was very nice but food took WAY too long, employees seemed more concerned with making themselves treats and swearing in conversation in front of my kids than working, and the store wasn't clean. I'm from Rochester and even Rochester stores are run better than this.

We just waited in the drive thru for literally an hour! We timed it! We got in line at 9:08pm and didn’t get out until 10:12pm. When we finally got to the food window they didn’t have anything ready. They kept asking us what our order was and forgetting items. The food was all half empty, we had burnt chicken nuggets in our ten piece, and ice cold fries. I took one bite of the nugget and it was so burnt, bad, and crunchy I spit it out. The large coke was half full and had no ice. We waited an hour for food that wasn’t even edible and now what should have been a quick stop on a long road trip has set us back an hour. The employees didn’t even apologize for the horrid service or wait. HOW can this McDonald’s be this bad is the question we kept asking ourselves as we were trapped in the drive thru line.

Following a basketball game at the local high school, my son's basketball team went by bus to McDonald's in Palatine Bridge, NY for dinner. The game went into overtime and the kids were really hungry. They had a 45 minute ride home ahead of them. The kids went into the restaurant around 9:30pm and placed their orders at the Kiosks. Some paid with cards, but a few kids only had cash. The kids had to order by kiosk because the restaurant staff ignored them and did not have a cashier at the front. At some point the staff turned off the Kiosks so kids couldn't order anymore. The kids who got to order and who paid with cards, had their orders filled ... but they only filled food orders up until 10pm... so it you didn't pay or you hadn't gotten your meal, you were not getting food - even if you placed your order before closing the inside of the restaurant. The rude young girl filling orders came to the front of the restaurant and announced out loud to everyone inside, "We are done filling orders. If you ordered at the kiosk and didn't get food yet or if you haven't paid because you're paying with cash, you will not be getting served." Knowing that a few of the kids, including my own child, wouldn't be served, I drove through the drive through to order food for them so that they could eat. When I got to the drive through, the workers purposely ignored me and left me sitting waiting to be acknowledged. Needless to say, the bus had to leave and some kids went home without being served food. The staff were blatantly rude to the kids and to the other people in the restaurant, leaving a few other people (not with the bus) at the counter because they refused to serve anyone in the restaurant because they were closing the inside at 10pm. Their idea of customer service was just to ignore the staff standing at the counter. I will NEVER step foot in this place again. The manager, a young guy himself, was just as rude as his staff... never acknowledging customers and walking away if you tried to ask questions. I get that they're busy but without customers you have no job. I will continue to tell everyone I know about these kids' experience. Shame on the staff and management of this restaurant!

They messed up my entire order. I asked for no ice in one of my drinks, but I got ice in it. There was barely any onions on the cheeseburger and one tiny pickle on it as well. There were many other things that they messed up. This isn’t the first time they messed up an order of mine, for so many years they have messed up my order. How come they make so many mistakes and mess up so many people orders, but they want more money. It makes so no sense to me. Heck other fast food places don’t make as nearly as much of mistakes as McDonalds. So if the workers want more money they need to learn to not make mistakes.
