I was staying in the wonderful village of Puigpunyent and stumbled upon Mercat Tramuntana. I went 3 times - for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and each time was absolutely fantastic! Wonderful atmosphere, staff, food - also kid/dog friendly :) Not to be missed if you’re in Mallorca!

We had such a lovely meal after our hike in Galilea, we noticed the restaurant on our way past. It has a sunny terrace and looks so welcoming. We had the artichoke lasagne & the Gorgonzola honey and walnut pizza. We had a great organic white wine, cava and earl grey tea. It felt like being in a friends kitchen, we could of sat there for ever. We were the last people in actually! Definitely going back, the area really needed a space like this 💖

We had the sandwich of the day with meat and a veggie option and both were great. The coffee is tasty and we would’ve come back the next day but it was their rest day. We’ll be back

We enjoyed our coffee and matcha very much. The milk alternatives are impressive (top recommendation - almond). The food and pastries are excellent as well. Try the toast with grated tomatoes and cheese, as well as the beef carpaccio tonnato 👌 very friendly service!

the pizza’s and burgers are to die for. Not allot of people who manage to get the pizza dough right, but here it’s spot on! dough is light, Fluffy, and Crunchy in the places you want it to be’ Great selection of natural wines, deli is stocked with fun things you won’t find just anywhere. A place to come back to especially for the apple crumble, we ordered two ❤️

The best place for food and wine!!! This place is a real gem that we visited multiple times during our visit. Simple food very nicely done, excellent brunch and lunch, and amazing natural wines. They have curated a great collection of natural and organic local and European wines and our server was very knowledgeable about these (we ended up buying a bottle on their recommendation which also proved to be excellent). Everyone is very friendly and smiley, so again, don't miss out, this place is 100% recommended!

Great breakfast! the roasted pineapple with granola and frozen yogurt was delicious, seasonal and creative! The omelette with avo and toast was also done very well, with tomato rubbed on the sourdough bread and some cabbage slaw on the side everything tasted great and left us feeling good. Evidently better quality ingredients used in this restaurant kitchen.

We came when the kitchen was already closed but they still served us some super yummy salad and a perfect almond croissant. Mercat is a brilliant addition to Puigpunyent, informal yet special, and with a fantastic wine list - sourced from small wineries across the island. The food is fresh and inventively put together. The cheeseburger is that very smart thing - an everyday food made indulgent by good ingredients.

Honestly the best restaurant we have been to since living in Mallorca. The most wonderful food and staff, and they even have a little play tienda which keeps the kids entertained for hours. This will become our regular for sure 👌🏼

Y algo muy importante para agregar: PIZZAS, son de masa madre con tres días de elaboración y en cuanto al sabor, no hay palabras para calificarlas. Lugar súper recomendable, si están en Palma vale la pena llegar a Puigpunyent para deleitarse en Mercat Tramuntana.

A truly lovely brunch experience - the staff were very friendly, we sat outside in the sun with one of the patio heaters and they were very dog friendly too. The Bloody Marys were nice and spicy and the two dishes we chose were delicious and served quickly - we will definitely return to try lunch or dinner another time.

Perfect Breakfast Location and Even better for Dinner! It’s a whole design and Food Concept that You Can feel and taste! During our 2 weeks stay did go there every day! I can only agree with the other reviews — Mercat Tramuntana is absolutely amazing! The food is outstanding and the service super friendly, even though they can busy at times (which is understandable). The burger is by far the best on the island. Highly recommend reserving a table!

A lovely place for dinner We started with a few appetizers, including an outstanding cheese platter. Alongside the pizza and steak, we tried several mains featuring fried eggplant and burrata - such a unique and delicious combination! I’ve never had eggplant prepared this well. 5/5. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always available when needed. Would definitely come again!

We absolutely love MERCAT Tramuntana! We had the best pizza with gorgonzola and honey—truly unforgettable—and the fresh crab pasta was just as amazing. The rosé wine was perfectly chilled, and the service was fantastic every single time. We enjoyed it so much that we came back three times in one week—and every visit was just as great as the last. It’s not just for lunch or dinner, either. We highly recommend it for breakfast! I had a ham and cheese croissant that was buttery and delicious, and the coffee… honestly, it’s insanely good. Aanrader! Locatie is erg leuk door het mooie uitzicht. Wij hebben hier de hele middag gezeten onder het genot van koffie, een verkoelend drankje en een heerlijke lunch. Falafel en een pasta hadden wij gekozen. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en er liep een schattig hondje!

Waren heute zum ersten Mal im mercat. Nette Leute. Service war ein wenig am Limit, aber immer freundlich. Vor Ort: Viele Radfahrer und In Insta-Fancy People. Aber okay... Nichtsdestotrotz war das Essen gut und und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis vollkommen in Ordnung. Daher ist der Laden auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Die Lage und vor allem die Terrasse ist sehr schön.

No es un restaurante, no hay menú, pero tienen un pequeño surtido de platos bien cocinados, que te permiten comer decentemente. También disponen de una tienda gourmet.

Wir haben dieses Lokal aufgrund der guten Bewertungen aufgesucht. Dem muss ich leider widersprechen. Es wurde uns das Menü del Dia angeboten für 18 €. Suppe, Hauptgericht, Nachtisch und Getränke. So wollten wir es auch haben. Plötzlich bekamen wir nur das Hauptgericht 18 € ( SPAGHETTI MIT FLEISCHBÄLLCHEN), was vom Preis her mega heftig ist für ein mallorquinisches Restaurant. Dazu bekam ich ein Glas Rotwein, halbvoll, was mit 4 € berechnet wurde. Total überteuert und dann aus dem Tetrapack abgezapft. Das ist für mich Abzocke und unverschämt.

Sonnige Terrasse, netter Service aber......Snackkarte unvollstaendig, Empfehlungen des Services unverstaendlich. Snacks mini...café con leche ist eher leche con café. Preise voellig ueberzogen. Scheint aber mit fast ausschliesslich skandinavischen Gaesten zu funktionieren. Muss man nicht haben, schade - jede spanische Bar in dieser normalen Kategorie ist besser, preislich angemessner und hat mehr Atmosphaere.

The food was lovely, the staff when they engaged were lovely, but the service was terrible. Unfortunately, the severe lack of attentiveness and general customer service was a big let down for what is a lovely restaurant with great food. There was a large table when we arrived and they seemed to get the full attention of the staff - they seemed to know them. This was at the detriment of other guests. Lots of mistakes dishes wise, not just with our table. The owner (who was a waiter that evening) was spending 10-15 mins chatting to tables instead of attending to all guest's needs. We heard the owner mention to one table they didn't have many in the kitchen. In my experience (and proved by another restaurant with a 1 waiter 1 chef team the following day), they had more than enough staff for the covers they had in the restaurant which suggests either inexperienced or incapable staff. 3 waiters/servers couldn't seem to keep up with the small number of covers on offer! All in all, if you want good food in a chill environment but you don't mind when or whether you are served, this is the place for you.

Amazing food. That is something they have down to a tee. Went twice. First time decent service, small portion size and everything is rather pricy, but ok. Second time, was a bit busier, and got seated. However, out of view of the waiters, and had to wait a long time to get serviced and ask everything twice. They even just dropped my food on the table and before I could ask anything they ran away.

Sobald wir saßen kam sofort ein freundlicher Kellner und brachte uns unaufgefordert kostenloses Wasser mit Sprudel und Gläser mit Eis und Zitrone. Sicher wusste er, dass wir Wasser nur mit Sprudel trinken... 🙋🏻 Dann tat sich erst mal lange Zeit nichts mehr. Auf den Rat einer anderen Deutschen, es sei viel besser, selbstständig drinnen nachzufragen und meiner persönlich vorgetragenen Bitte nach einer Karte kam die Chefin auf die Terrasse und sagte uns die Speisen des Tages. Wir bestellen nur Eiscafé, der hier ohne Sahne zubereitet wird. Man kann wählen zwischen Mandel- und Kuhmilch. Vorsicht ‼️ die Tische auf der Terrasse haben nur einen sehr kleinen Fuß mit drei Auslegern. Wenn du dich also auf die Ecke des Tisches aufstützt kann es gut sein, dass du ihn damit umwirfst.

La comida estuvo correcta, lamentablemente el servicio no fue nada atento ni simpático, preguntamos por las bebidas y el camarero nos alzó los hombros en plan que desean beber, luego esperamos a que nos atendieran para ordenar la comida y pasaron de nosotros ( luego nos dijo que había sido una confusión) Básicamente si no eres turista, ciclista o guiri no te prestan la atención como lo hicieron para los demás clientes. Es una pena ya que el lugar es chulo.

La comida estuvo correcta, lamentablemente el servicio no fue nada atento ni simpático, preguntamos por las bebidas y el camarero nos alzó los hombros en plan que desean beber, luego esperamos a que nos atendieran para ordenar la comida y pasaron de nosotros ( luego nos dijo que había sido una confusión) Básicamente si no eres turista, ciclista o guiri no te prestan la atención como lo hicieron para los demás clientes. Es una pena ya que el lugar es chulo.

We had lunch today at Mercat ..and we were very disappointed with our lunch today ...todays special although tasty was very small for the price of €18.. We asked for a Mallorcan rose wine but they recommended a French which was really bad compared to the wonderful Mallorcan wines we usually drink… Sorry a let down today …

Nach einem Jahr entschieden wir uns, dem Restaurant eine zweite Chance zu geben, da es trotz unserer vorherigen Enttäuschung gut besucht war. Leider blieb auch dieses Mal der erhoffte positive Eindruck aus. Das Essen konnte weder geschmacklich noch in der Portionsgröße überzeugen. Die Pasta war für den Preis unangemessen klein und bot kein besonderes Geschmackserlebnis. Hinzu kam, dass der servierte Rotwein viel zu kalt war und entgegen der Angabe auf der Speisekarte mit sieben Euro statt der ausgeschriebenen vier Euro berechnet wurde (für ein 0,125 l Glas). Interessant waren auch die unterschiedlichen Preise auf der spanischen und der englischen Speisekarte bei den Vorspeisen. Auch der Service ließ zu wünschen übrig, insbesondere bei unserer Beschwerde, was das Gesamterlebnis weiter trübte. Leider können wir dieses Restaurant nach zwei enttäuschenden Besuchen nicht empfehlen.

Sehr schöner Ort, umso größer die Enttäuschung! Ich mag es nicht, wenn man mir das Gefühl vermittelt, Gast 2.Klasse zu sein: es fing bereits mit der Bestellung an. Der Ober wusste zunächst noch nicht einmal, was es als „ Menü del Dia“ gab. Er erkundigte sich , kam wieder und erklärte uns, der Hauptgang sei Lamm. Ich fragte, ob es Lamp chops seien, nein, die Antwort, es wäre Lammschuler. Keine weitere Erläuterung. Wir bestellten das Menü und eine Pizza. Die Llammschulter war so fettig, dass ein Verzehr nicht möglich war. Am Nebentisch hatten sich mittlerweile Gäste eingefunden, Ihnen wurde nun wortreich erläutert, was es zu essen gäbe… u. A. auch verschiedene Lammgerichte. ( die wohlgemerkt nicht auf der Karte standen!) sodann erschien der Patron des Hauses gleich 2 mal ammNebentisch, um sich zu erkundigen , ob alles in Ordnung sei. Uns und den übrigen Gästen widmete er nicht eines Blickes. Der nahezu unberührte Teller mit der vor Fett triefenden Lammschuter interessierte niemanden. Auch unsere Anmerkung, dass es sich nur um Fett gehandelt habe , interessierte den Kellner nicht. Die Pizza und Buurata waren absoluter Durchschnitt. Das beste war das Pistazieneis zum Nachttisch. Unabhängig vom fettigen Essen ging das Verhalten von Kellner und Patron gar nicht. Gott sei dank gibt es an diesem schönen Ort noch andere Lokale, dieses werden wir bestimmt nicht wieder besuchen. P.S. ich vergaß : es wurde sogleich bei uns die Hauptspeise des Menüs serviert. Auf unseren Hinweis, es gäbe doch noch eine Vorspeise, holte der Kellner die Burrata und stellte sie auf unseren Tisch. Ob er die Hauptspeise noch einmal zurücknehmen solle, warm halten solle, … kein Wort! Unterirdischer Service, wo ich mich frage, wie es zu den guten Bewertungen kam?!?

No quisieron dejarnos sentar. Ya podría poner el cartel de cerrado y no tenerlo escondido en la esquina. Solo queríamos tomarnos un refresco, creo que alcanzábamos en 20 minutos. Ni siquiera preguntaron que queríamos, ni hola ni nada.

It saddens me to give only one star, but really I’ve been disappointed by the food portions and the prices. Me and my husband chose the beldi mezze for dinner and yes we acknowledged that it costed 26€ per person. Normally when something costs this much for one person, you receive a portion of food that allows one to be satiated. When we received the food it was shockingly small. The taste of the food was mediocre , but definitely it wasn’t something amazing or even close to a Michellin star restaurant to give such small portions. The olives were normal, the tabbouleh was nothing special and the cheese was a small cube of ordinary cheese. The best dish were the pickled aubergines and zucchini, but again maybe there were 5 slices of each. The place attracts customers with a beautiful terrace and nice music, but definitely it shouldn’t allow this “restaurant” to charge this much for this little food.

El primer Restaurante del Mundo donde pides una Pizza y te traen dos trozos pequeños por 16€. Que lo vendan como porciones, no como Pizza. Servicio muy lento.
