This is the second time in three years that my husband has taken me to an Italian restaurant for my birthday. My birthday experience in 2022 was at Mart Anthony's Italian Restaurant. This year, we're dining at RoccoVino's - Orland Park location. For a Monday evening, it was more crowded than I was expecting. We had reservations and we're seated right away. In general, I'm not a huge fan of Italian food, but I was pleasantly surprised at the menu options, and we enjoyed all of our selections. For our appetizer, we had the Steak Tagliata. This is a grilled filet with portobello mushrooms, spinach in a balsamic sauce. For our entrees we enjoyed the WhiteFish Italiano and Capellini Gamberi; both were excellent choices. The WhiteFish Italiano had a lemon, garlic, oregano and white wine sauce. The Capellini Gamberi was an angel pasta dish with grilled shrimp, spinach and an olive oil garlic sauce. For dessert, we tried the Banana Cake with Cream Cheese frosting. My husband and I both grilled the waitress about how it was made. It's funny, we both like banana flavor, but we both hate banana texture. Well the cake didn't have chunks of bananas and was puréed very well. All we tasted was the banana flavor, which was our goal! LOL! I definitely wouldn't mind coming here again, and trying other entrees on the menu as well as the pizza!

Pleasantly surprised, invited here by friends, first time here, and everything we ate was very very good! I tried a 12” pepperoni pizza, we had a filet, the Caprese salad and fried calamari. Everything was very good, including the service. 4 ppl one drink each, one meal each and 2 appetizers, $200. Everything these days are very very expensive. If you’re from the area, I would say this is very similar to Sorrisos in Frankfort. I would say a notch above Gattos but a notch below Francesca’s in Frankfort.

Delicious, real Italian food. I'm a Jersey girl that requires many tastes for my pallet. The atmosphere, service and food are excellent. Great portions, you will not go hungry. They also catered to you with your reservations and party size. Thanks for a great birthday 🎉!

I'm not normally one to take a picture of my food but I took one bite and couldn't help it. It's such a cute place. I love it! They're friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! I can't recommend it enough.

How I love RoccoVinos, let me count the ways: 1) Service - phenomenal. Went in for a 5pm dinner in a Friday with my cousin, both of our first times here. Seated immediately and young greeter was friendly and warm. Our waitress was wonderful, attentive enough that we felt taken care of, but also not overbearing or rushed. She was very knowledgeable of the menu/food and answered our questions with ease. Waters refilled constantly and any ask was taken care of immediately. 2) The Food - unbelievable. We each ordered a main pasta dish and a side - her: salad, me: minestrone soup. Salad was crunch with every bit, no wilted lettuce, very fresh. My cup of soup was the perfect temperature and tasted great. Perfect first course. When our main meals came, we couldn't stop raving. Cheese ravioli with marinara sauce and vodka rigatoni and omg, we were in heaven. Huge portions for the price, enough that we packed up the rest to eat the next day, and we're excited about it! 3) The desserts - too die for. Ok, so first the waitress comes over with a tray of sample desserts. That's when you know they're going to be phenomenal. As soon as we heard "homemade" tiramisu, we knew. The presentation, the flavor, the everything - amazing!! Large enough for two to share after a full meal. Chef's kiss. 4) Everything! The service, the atmosphere, the food, the vibe; we loved it all. It is definitely added to the top of our list of places to visit again, and soon. Stop in and enjoy this hidden gem in Orland - you won't be disappointed!

This was my first visit to RoccoVino's and I will definitely be back. Our server, Victor, was terrific. He was personable, attentive and just made our dining experience feel top notch. The additional support server was also attentive, which was appreciated. The beverages and food were spectacular. The five stars are truly representative of this restaurant.

We have eaten at the Orland Park location for as long as it's been open. Our server today - Lauren - was the very best we have ever had. She treated us with kindness, attention and professionalism. She quickly got an answer from the chef for me and, as a result, my lunch was excellent. Come by and see her....her smile and warm personality will make your day!!!

Excellent food & drinks! I especially adored their pizza- perfect taste & big enough for leftovers later. Jonathan was very helpful showing us around the menu & I will definitely be back! Thanks Jerome!

Had a taste for Italian and to try and new place. Did not disappoint! Toasted ravioli was a great appetizer split my shortrib & polenta was delicious as was my wife's gnocchi. Our server, Victor also brought out a sample of their soup. It was a garlic soup and so rich and full of toasted garlic flavor. We have found another great spot!!

The staff is very friendly and courteous. My dining companions all enjoyed their dishes. I had the Italian beef. RoccoVino's have the most flavorful au jus I've had. There's a subtle sweetness to it with a touch of heat that balances well. Their fries were crispy without being overdone. I would definitely dine here again.

Went to carryout. The restaurant was very clean. The carry out person seemed new which was cool cause she got the most patient customer. I'll dine in next time. Atmosphere seems Cozy.

Christopher, the bar barista, was such a fantastic host. He welcomed my friends and I, as well as the other patrons with a warm smile and conversation. He immediately tended to us and made delicious drinks. The bar and restaurant were both busy with drinks being ordered, but he never made us feel forgotten. I will be returning to visit him on the evenings he is bartending.

The Short rib linguine was fantastic and so was Victor our server. Definitely recommend coming here. After coming here for over 10 years I finally am leaving a review.

After being told at a different restaurant that our wait would be 3 hours for a party of 8, after already driving over an hour to get there. We found this place and we were so happy we did! It took them 5 minutes to set up a table and the food was amazing and the portions are huge. I would definitely recommend!

Nice italian restaurant! Decent prices. We ordered 3 chicken dishes: limone, marsala and risotto. All were full of flavor and a generous amount. Most appreciated was that we didn't feel rushed and were able to be the last to leave without staff circling around us. Will definitely tell others and ho back to try other dishes.

David and Nelson are the stars that make RoccoVino’s shine! RoccoVino’s in Orland Park has become one of our favorite spots for authentic Italian with a creative twist—think incredible pasta, fresh seafood, veal, chops, and their amazing pizzas—but what truly sets it apart are two exceptional team members: our incredible waiter David and manager Nelson. David is simply one of the best servers I’ve ever experienced. He’s warm, super attentive, remembers little details to make you feel right at home, and his recommendations are always spot-on (trust him on the specials—they’re phenomenal!). He strikes the perfect balance of friendly, efficient, and genuinely caring, turning a regular meal into a standout occasion every time. Then there’s Nelson, the manager who clearly leads with passion and goes way above and beyond. He personally checks in, ensures everything runs flawlessly, and brings such a welcoming energy to the entire restaurant. Whether it’s a family dinner, date night, or celebration, Nelson makes every visit feel special and handled with top-notch care. The whole team seems energized by his leadership, and it shows in the vibe and service. Thank you so much, David and Nelson, for everything you do—you don’t just serve great food; you create memorable experiences that keep us coming back. RoccoVino’s is lucky to have you both leading the way! If you’re in Orland Park, make sure to visit RoccoVino’s and request David if you’re dining in—you’ll see exactly what I mean. These two make it exceptional! 🍝⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I just had a customer service experience with Rocco Vinos that I still can’t believe. We placed a takeout order with them. Our son picked up the food and, when he got home, we noticed an error. I called and spoke to the Manager (I unfortunately didn’t get his name) and he could not of be nicer. He corrected the order and had somebody drive it to our house. He even included a dessert. I honestly cannot say the last time I’ve had an experience like this. Thank you.

Truly some of the most accommodating and kind people work here. My family had a crisis today of our original catering plans falling through, not only did Roccovinos save the day for us, but the food i think turned out to be better than our original catering plans. They even helped pack up our car with all the food when we came by to pick it up. Felipe, the GM made the process so easy and even provided recommendations for our group based on the little information i provided on the phone. I cannot say enough great things about how wonderful the team here is. Thank you for everything!

We always enjoy dining at RoccoVino’s, and our recent offsite event with them was no exception. They welcomed our guests with great hospitality, offering wines and thoughtful pairings. Felipe and his team were outstanding—their knowledge, attentiveness, and warm service made the evening a true success. Thank you!

Rocco Vino's in Orland Park, IL is a fantastic community partner! Their hospitality during our Chamber Monthly Membership Meeting in August was outstanding, with over 50 members in attendance! They were also incredibly attentive as sponsors of our Viva la Vino event. We appreciate their continued support and involvement and love seeing their commitment to our local community. It should also be noted that they have delicious vodka sauce!!!

Cheeky little place, called ahead but didn't hold our reservation. Food was mouth-watering, service was attentive and efficient, even when training. Glad I experienced it.

So after we had a really bad experience, the GM actually reached out to my husband. He offered to comp our meal if we would come back in. Everything he offered was extremely nice and reaffirmed our love for this restaurant. Unfortunately we were unable to make the day work, so we did not take him up on this. The gesture was enough for me to rescind my previous review. The food is always excellent, quite literally 9/10 times the wait staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Maybe we just caught them on a really bad night.

No one greeted us when we came in. We waited a while to be seated and the place was barely occupied. Seats and plates were dirty when we sat down. the toasted ravioli they served us was burnt, however the artichoke dip an bread was decent. The waitress never asked what we wanted to order for a main dish. The small bowl of lemons she brought us had other food and crud in it. Very dissatisfied with this place. The hostess didn't even speak to us when we left.

You are better off going to olive garden! While the food (pasta) was good, the service was not worth the price. We waited an hour for a food order to be taken, which, had the resturaunt been fully seated or short staffed would have been more understandable, neither was true. We were never offered second drinks, or checked on during eating. The waiter never smiled, and was seen sitting at the bar watching the game. The other waitress clearly annoyed at having too cover his table had an attitude. To top it off the tiramisu tasted like tres leches, and my credit card was charged twice!!! Do yourself a favor and if you like the food take it to go, my recommendation too many other great Italian restaurants in the area to waste your time at this one. *Edited*.... a year later we came back for a friend's birthday, we had Courtney as our waiter have to say he was amazing! Five stars for his service and attention to detail. Food was the same, over priced for the quality. And again issues with the credit card at the end, this time they charged my friend's card twice! Now Courtney explained that he had to manually key the information in, and confused the cards. He did apologize and I don't blame him at all. I would recommend his services any time! However, the mix up on charging cards seems to be frequent at this place, so I would suggest you bring cash and avoid the headache, if you truly can't be persuaded to visit one of the other delightful places in the area!

Pros: - food isn't bad - bathrooms were clean - front of the house staff were polite and clean Cons- - food quality and taste was roughly on par with those Italian shops that serve their food in red plastic baskets with parchment paper liners... only, RoccoVino charges 2-3 times as much. - Dirty and grimy. The table cloth was soiled, the seats were full of crumbs, and the floors throughout were oil covered... very slick. As with the food, I'd compare the cleanliness to a low-end Italian restaurant or pizza shop, only the prices are 2-3x. - while the waiting staff were polite and well-dressed, they didn't communicate super well. It's like they were all socially awkward or shy. - salad was withered *if the cost wasn't so high, I'd give RoccoVino 4 stars. But two people without drinks costs $70... wasn't worth it whatsoever...

We had a reservation for 7:30 on Valentine’s Day. Surprisingly, it wasn’t very busy and there actually seemed to be more servers than necessary. After being seated, we received bread and water, but not from our assigned server. We then sat at our table for almost 20 minutes while multiple servers walked past and made eye contact with us, but no one came over. My boyfriend eventually had to get up and ask a server for help. To his credit, that server was very nice and took our order right away. Unfortunately, my boyfriend’s main entrée arrived before our appetizers. He felt uncomfortable sending it back, but we had to explain that it was supposed to be his dinner, not an appetizer. Once the food arrived, it was actually very good, which is the main reason I’m giving two stars instead of one. However, after that, we were never checked on again. No one asked if we needed refills or how everything was. When we finished eating, we sat for another 15 minutes before flagging down our server just to get the check. We considered staying for dessert, but didn’t want to risk being stuck waiting another half hour. Overall, the food was great, but the service was extremely disappointing, especially for a holiday like Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning due to the service experience.

Would give a -10, if not just a zero star, if zero was an option. I've been frequenting this restaurant for years, it's been a staple of my family's outings for many occasions. Upon my most recent visit, tonight (7/25/25), not only have I witnessed the cleanliness of this restaurant go downhill - but the management as well. Where I used to find a comforting home meal has turned into a stale and soul-less atmosphere with mediocre quality food at best. And let's not get started on the plates these "meals" are served on. Greasy, dirty, and clearly unpolished. Save your money, go to Olive Garden - at least the salad there is freshly prepared. And the alfredo sauce is better.

Absolutely horrendous service Tuesday evening. It seemed as though there was no staff available to serve us, wasted ten minutes of standing in the front to spend another 15 minutes waiting on our drinks from the bar. Overall - 25 minutes to get started for a dinner service. Once our calamari had arrived, it was luke-warm and bleak in flavor. I mean, this "thing" needed some SEASONING. It was unreal. My eggplant parmesan dish was again, luke-warm on the edges, although appearing to be burnt, and was cold on the inside. Instead of spaghetti on the side of this dish, i was served fettuccini. Make it make sense, RoccoVino's. We will not be back.

I was here over the weekend on a date, it was probably the worst restaurant experience I've ever encountered. The food took almost an hour to finally come to the table and by then I had lost my appetite completely. It was only two pasta dishes. Our waiter was no where to be found and not attentive at all to our needs. At one point he had his back to us talking to the hostess meanwhile our drinks sat there empty for 15 minutes. I'm usually not one to complain, I'm very patient but this was just horrible and I had to come write a review to warn others to save their money. Definitely not worth the $100+ spent. I will never come back here again. Management needs to seriously reconsider their staff and the way the restaurant is ran. The whole atmosphere felt off and if I'm being honest made me feel very uncomfortable. I was terribly unsatisfied! Being a waitress myself, could never understand giving someone this bad of service and expecting any positive feedback or tips. Don't come here.

Everything went wrong during our visit on 5/27/25 for dinner. No menus were presented, soup and salad were never brought to table; unhappy with tortellini pasta entree. Will not be back!

Extremely disappointed! Called to make a reservation for Mother's Day several weeks ago, never did they mention it was a buffet, no mention online either. We found out about the buffet from stopping there for pizza 2 days before hand. With no time to make other plans we kept with Rocco Vino's since we have always had a great meal in the past. Mother's Day was the unfortunate experience of all days. Our time was 12pm which was the first sitting, you would think that the food would be warm....ice cold! The only thing hot was the made to order omelets. Pasta cold, chicken cold, salmon cold, prime rib cold, EVERYTHING was cold. We said something to our server and nothing was done. For $50 per person it was hardly worth it. Also they were advertising buy 1 mimosa get 1 free...they were pre-mixed and only tasted of orange juice. We had a table of 6, when all said and done our bill was over $350 and we would have been better off eating at a fast food joint, at least we would have had a warm meal and not been completely ripped off. I'm sure there were plenty of other Mother's as equally disappointed as my mother and I were.

We were part of a large pre-planned lunch after a memorial service. They charged 35 dollars per plate and we had a party of 50. It seemed that they were not ready for anything. 90 minutes for food to start coming. One server for everyone. Bus person was slamming plates so loud that it was uncomfortable. When the food started coming, it was scarce. Chicken split into 4 pieces, simple salad, pasta, vegetables and pasta in vodka sauce. We all got 1/4 of a chicken breast. When we asked for more, we got a less than favorable response. They then went to other of our tables and stole what they had left and put it on a plate. Remember that this was $35 per plate with soft drinks only. We left hungry, bewildered and promising never to step into that business again.

Food was alright though the pasta was undercooked. That's the only good thing about my experience last night. Took 50min for 2 pasta dinners. My date and I were going to the movies that we were then late for. So we asked the bartender to make our meals Togo instead. They gave us Togo containers but when our food finally arrived we had to put it in the containers ourselves. We ordered 2 drinks where they also brought us 2 waters our waiter was nowhere to be seen for 30min where we finished off our drinks and had to share the last water. We also sat at the front of the house next to the window wall thing we felt excluded from the restaurant. Just a very weird vibe. In total the bill was $110 without tip. But I find that places like these where the bill is relatively high services tends to lack because wait staff feel they don't need to try as hard because they know people are going to tip 15-20% this really needs to change. Tips should be based on gratitude and quality of service not because the food is priced.

Went to have lunch there today. Place was locked. NO signage at all explaining why. They supposedly open at 11am, we were there at 11:50am. Very disappointed.

Hi Jerome (manager/owner) Following up on our phone conversation from today, I'm writing to express my disappointment. I ordered a pizza with half cheese and half beef and gardiniera peppers. However, upon returning home, the pizza I received was missing the beef. Despite bringing this to your attention, your response lacked professionalism. You offered no resolution for the mistake and, incredibly, implied the error was mine. This is unacceptable, especially considering our family's consistent patronage, averaging about 18 pizza orders a year, with a peak during our summer pool parties. We also consistently tip your drivers generously. Due to today's poor customer service, we, unfortunately, will not be ordering from your establishment again. You have lost a valuable customer today. Happy New Year."

So I don’t usually write nasty reviews, but I wanted to leave my opinion with an experience that me and my wife had yesterday. Me and my wife came in around 9:30 PM and the restaurant was completely dead not a person inside…the guy who I presumed to be the owner comes up to us greets us and says you know our kitchen closes at 10 PM. I presume to let him know that I’m sorry I thought you guys closed at 10:30pm His remark was yeah but our kitchen closes at 10pm. His tone was very short and snappy…me and my wife were taken back. It seemed that Maybe you should’ve stated that on your website we live in the area and we like the food here so we figured we come in for a late night dinner. We proceed to sit down and order our food our waiter she was so amazing. I feel as though she might’ve overheard the conversation that he had with us because she told us not to rush and to just overall take our time with our meals.. if I could give her a 10 out of 10 for customer service, I would she was so tentative to us checking in with us every 10 minutes just to make sure we had everything we needed. We made sure to tip her well. But as we were leaving, the owner was sitting at the exit of the restaurant. He looked at us, looked down at his watch and made a snarky remark stating wow leaving so soon. We didn’t like the comment at all. We just laughed it off as we walked out of the door, but unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll ever come back to this restaurant again Just because I don’t like the way he talk to us nor did I like the way he treated us. Maybe he was having a bad day or maybe he just didn’t know that that’s not how you should talk to paying customers. I didn’t want to take it as racism so I’m not gonna call it that but that’s definitely how it made me and my wife feel.
