Opiniones de Bela Tusa Trattoria Via Pietro Borsieri
We went for dinner on the 1st January after a few cocktails at the bar down the road from the same owner and we are glad we did. We had the cotoletta, risotto, papardelle with ragu and veal osso bucco and everything was perfect. A nice traditional feel trattoria. Would highly recommend to anyone. In a nice street away from the busy centre of Milan.
Absolutely brilliant. Fabulous meal, high quality food, so glad we didn’t go into central Milan for dinner, this was an authentic Italian experience. I’m gluten free and there were so many delicious options. Friendly staff, just wish we could go again!
Fantastic place!! Came twice for lunch during our short 4 day stay in Milan - had the pappardelle, cotoletta, and Cassoeula on the first visit. Came back for the ossobuco during the second visit and everything was absolutely fantastic. Amazing service as well!
Unfortunately, we weren’t that hungry so only ordered a few things. We enjoyed everything we had and it came out quick! We got the risotto with veal since we wanted to try something from Milan. It was one of the best food we had in Italy and are hoping we can re-create something like it back home.
I wanted to experience a traditional ossobuco Milanese before leaving Milan and they did not disappoint. The meat is so tender that it melts in your mouth. The pairing with Milanese risotto was perfectly delicious. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Milan and would recommend this restaurant and this dish to anyone visiting the area. The atmosphere was also very nice and the staff were friendly and attentive.
I cannot begin to even describe the amazing experience I had at Bela Tusa. The first night I had the ravioli and the ossobuco. The experience was so outstanding that I decided to come back my second night too. The service, the experience and the food was worth it. When I come back to Milan again, without a doubt I’ll be coming back!
If you’re visiting Milan and want to taste true Milanese tradition, this is the place to go! Every dish is bursting with authentic flavors, made from the finest ingredients — you can literally taste the passion in the kitchen. The staff are not only professional, but also incredibly warm and funny, making you feel like a welcomed friend rather than just a guest. The wine selection is outstanding, with local labels that perfectly enhance the experience. And the setting? Elegant yet cozy, the kind of atmosphere that turns dinner into a memory. For anyone discovering Milan, this restaurant is a must-visit. I left with a full heart (and stomach!) and I’ll definitely come back on my next trip.
Our last night in Milan and what a very yummy send off and wonderful service!! It took us a while to choose from the many restaurants around the area but so happy we went here! It was very intimate and feels like a neighborhood joint! We got: Appetizer: Meatballs Main: Mezze Maniche & Ossobuco Risotto Dessert: Tiramisu Buono! Grazie Milan for wonderful meals! 😋
Walked 30 minutes in 30 degrees heat this evening to get to this restaurant and see if the reviews were true. We were not disappointed. The meatball starter was melt-in-the mouth soft, The risotto alla milanese and the risotto al salto were delicious. We finished with a tiramisu which was kindly offered by our waitress and was heavenly. The staff were super friendly and attentive without being overbearing. This really is a gem and I would highly recommend it.
wonderful restaurant, the reviews are true. we wanted to try the most Milanese risotto and tiramisu and this place did not disappoint. family warm atmosphere, you will not find a more Italian place, such a friendly owner and staff, we were left with memories for life, HUGE RECOMMENDATION FOR VISITORS AND TOURISTS. the prices are very affordable, the menu is translated into all languages of the world, we took ossobuco con risotto and risotto alla milanese as well as panna cotta and tiramisu and also the white wine arneis which was wonderful and light in taste. and they also treated us to mondeghili and limoncello on the house, which was very nice... the most tender meat, the bright taste of risotto and homemade tiramisu with soft panna cotta under homemade jam - we were absolutely delighted! 🥹 СПАСИБО.
After a week in Milano eating well we came here for a last supper. Everything we had was just amazing from the mondeghili (meatballs with salsa verde via a classic osbus (that's Milanese for osobuco btw) on risotto, to the digestifs afterwards. If you want to eat authentic, we'll presented, Milanese food that's a step above the norm then come here. Our mate who is from Milan agreed this was all done really well and the staff were lovely. Couldn't have asked for a better Milan food experience.
In this charming and cozy Trattoria, in the heart of Isola, the Milanese cuisine shines! Where to begin? The place is intimate, beautifully decorated and every detail tells the story of what does it mean to be a Milanese (either by birth or by heart, like in my case). The risotto alla Milanese, Mondeghili and Arrosto di Vitello are superb! The portions are abundant and the staff makes you feel like family once you come inside this small jewel. Big thank you to Norma and Gianmarco who were the perfect hosts to this experience. We will be sure to come back to enjoy once again the Milanese tradition!
Due to the very good reviews we had high expectations which unfortunately were not met at all. I didn't have my phone with me, there is no printed menu. Three seemingly unsynchronized waiters came within 10 minutes to take our order even each time we said we still need more time. In the end we skipped the wine because we felt weird for sending them away a forth time to further check the menu. We didn't get any bread, also not with the cheese appetizer we ordered, we needed to ask for it. The worst was the mains, especially the gnocci with cheese and tomato sauce. They tasted sour, as if something was bad. I like strong cheese I'm pretty sure it wasn't due to that. My partner also couldn't eat it and we left more than half of the plate. The server apparently wasn't interested why and just asked if we are finished. The Ossobuco was ok, half of it was quite dry, the other half was good. The risotto was fine but I have eaten better. Overall we were pretty disappointed and definitely cannot not recommend the place.
