Mars Hot Chicken

This restaurant is so wonderful and full of love. I promise they have the best burgers and chicken down here. The owners and everyone that works there are so kind. Not only that as for customer service the food was prepared quickly, and packaged conveniently. It even stayed nice and hot when I walked back to my hotel. I truly hope everyone there have a wonderful Holiday! And yes this is that spot!

The staff was very nice! They had just gotten a big order and told us it might be a minute. The owner brought over a large order of fries and apologized for the wait; which really wasn’t that long! The milkshakes were the best I’ve ever had - yummy!!! 10 out of 10!

This place is worth checking out. We are used to spice and found this gem slightly off the main street. Had just the right amount of spice, enormous flavor with exceptionally friendly service. Food is fresh and incredibly tasty. Highly recommended.

The owner was very friendly, the food was awesome. There were some issues inside im sure they're gonna resolve. I hope to see this place turn into a franchise one day. The sandwhich and tenders im the hot version wasn't hurting your mouth hot and it had good flavor.

We ordered 15 Buffalo Wings, the sauce was really tasty. Everything was ready quickly and the couple working there were so nice! I definitely recommend this spot.

Absolutely delicious! Their sauce is incredible. Got the smash burger combo & it was SO juicy & flavored!! Chicken salad was A+ as well 🙌 If in town, make sure to make a stop @ Mars Hot Chicken 😋

Picked this place to eat simply by the location (walking distance from where we were staying & had passed by it on our way to the beach) and was SO GLAD we did! Ordered the "Southern style" chicken strips, fries, and coleslaw for our family to share. The strips were a very nice size, the meat was moist and tender with great seasoning (not spicy at all) in the breading. The seasoning on the fries was also good, and not too spicy. I'm sure you can get some hot hot chicken here, but its also good to know they have "kid friendly" options as well. I would most definitely eat here again when close to the beach, and my kiddo has already asked to go back! This place is a fantastic addition to the quick/casual food options on the beach. Call to order take out as their online ordering (through a 3rd party but don't remember which one) was not working then. I think Josh was the name of the delightful person who took my order on the phone & served me when I came in to pick up the order. He was great and so friendly! We even ran into him later when out again for ice cream. Only a star lost for atmosphere as it looks like they are still adding decor to the walls and such.

The chicken was the tastiest that I have had as it was fried in tallow the highest end cooking oil one can buy and also the healthiest. (it was moist and cooked perfectly , made to order) The portions were good. The sauce was terrific and the spices were also. Having had food service operations I also always take note of the restaurant cleanliness, flow and origination from all aspects, and I see good things here. I also watched to operators interact with other patrons and saw nothing but smiles on both sides. I live in West Broward and I will eat here again as well as travel here knowing the food is good and just not a regular fried chicken joint -

We came on Friday evening and tried the spicy tender, chicken sandwich, fries and drink combo. We were helped by Javid and Olan who were super friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh and the chicken was well seasoned and juicy! The look and feel of the restaurant was also nice. We are definitely planning to come back to try the burgers and wings.

We came as family for a little quick dinner. My kids loved the side mac and cheese! To my surprise, it was not the regular kraft dinner kind of side, it was very good. Both the chicken wings and the corn ribs are very good too!! I took bbq , hot and honey favors and i love them both! Highly recommend quick budget dinner for family ! 😊 i took out 1 star because the bathroom was out of order when we came but otherwise, food was good and service is great ! 👍

This little hidden gem serves up the best chicken on the beach! Crispy, delicious and good portions. Shakes are great too especially after all day at the beach and the fries are delicious!

Some of the best hot chicken I’ve had. The tenders were huge; the house sauce was incredible; the chicken was tender and crispy without being greasy; the dry rub was very tasty. I had the Medium and they weren’t super spicy, it was a little bite of spice. Next time I go l’ll probably opt for Spicy. We also had the smash burger which was savory, grilled nicely, and perfectly charred around the edges. I really liked the way the bun was toasted as well. You can tell this spot just recently opened but everyone there was very nice and ready to serve us. The food didn’t take very long to come out and the prices were super reasonable and much better than most places we’ve visited. We’re definitely coming back again soon. 🍗🍔❤️

This review is after the business response. (Originally, I was not going to write a review.) We loved the chicken murals. The workers were friendly enough, but not over the top. The fries were crispy and well cooked, but had tons of raw seasoning that tasted sweet that we did not enjoy. We were expecting Nashville style hot chicken- where you have different oil and different spices for each heat level. This was not the case. We ordered mild, medium, and spicy and there wasn’t a big difference in the heat level between the three. There was raw seasoning added to the chicken at the end and it tasted sweet. It was not a flavor I enjoyed, but there’s nothing the restaurant can do if I don’t enjoy their recipes (which is why we said we were fine). We disliked the flavor so much that we didn’t finish it and we didn’t take it home (which for an anti-food waste person was difficult). The chicken was little crispy on one side, but soggy on the other. I didn’t like that the chicken sandwich was just one tender on a bun with the other toppings. If I order a sandwich, I’m expecting the patty or tenders to cover the amount of bread. My final thing that frustrated me was it felt like the place was nickel and dimeing. (I understand the area is expensive to operate in, but I don’t like charging more for little things.) For example, $1 for extra sauce, $1 for refills, etc. The bathroom is not open to the public, but is available for customers. These aren’t really things that the restaurant could have fixed when he asked me if everything was all right. And I’m not a confrontational person.
