Preguntas frecuentes sobre Chipotle
Opiniones de Chipotle Palo Alto
Tasty food, fresh ingredients, quick service with no fuss. I've already tried their chicken and carnitas burritos and bowls. Just remember, pinto beans have a tiny bit more spice than the black beans and if you don't order sour cream or guac, your food may taste a little dry ;) The portion sizes may be improved.
I never review restaurants, but this chipotle hit different. They were quick and efficient and made the most perfectly balanced and delicious burrito known to man. Infinitely better than most other chipotle locations Ive been to, I don't know what the secret ingredient is. If you're a staff there and reading this, thank you.
Accessible, off of El Camino. My experience was ordering online. The process was smooth and when I arrived, my package was all set to go. This made it convenient, simple and and quick. Plenty of parking and open pretty late. I was acknowledged as I walked in by staff and when I left, this made me feel like a valued customer. THANK YOU!
They weren't out of food at 10:15pm. This is super rare for a Chipotle and everything was delicious and the staff was professional and had the place clean. I really appreciate a chipotle that isn't out of everything an hour before close.
Absolutely amazing taste. Each chipotle has different tastes but this one tasted really good. I couldn’t stop eating it.
My favorite chipotle in the Bay. As an avid chipotle-goer, this is the only location that always serves good portions and always gets online orders correct—in the midst of final exams and cry sessions, I know I can come to this Chipotle and not be disappointed
This Chipotle location is one of the better locations. I usually go for lunch and the food is always fresh, the staff is friendly, and the dining/patio areas are always clean. During the peak hours they’re usually well staffed on the line so it moves pretty quickly. There is a closer Chipotle location but the food quality, service, and atmosphere are definitely worth the 12 min drive from my job. Keep up the great work!
Great location. They keep things clean and stocked
As long as you understand you're not getting real Mexican or restaurant standard food you enjoy this. They can a lot of food into a tortilla to make a burrito, that will fall apart with the support of the foil wrap they provide. It's tasty, quick and easy. All you want in fast food
This one is good. The saltiness of guacamole and rice is moderate, and portion isgenerous for mobile order. Not every chipotle has these two good features at the same time.
Delicious food EVERY TIME....only complaint is that they slop the beans and carnita juices all over the food in the bowl, and by the time food is ready to be eaten (5-10 min. drive home) the moisture from the food has soaked through the bowl, weakening it, as well as soaked thru the bag and on the seat of the car. Ewww. =( It has happened the past 3 times, so take heed with your order.
Chipotle is always one of my favorite fast food places to stop and we appreciated that it was open. There were not a lot of restaurants to choose from in the area. Could have done a better job with trash and tables being wiped off but it was at the end of the night so it was understandable. Will stop again next time we're in town.
Meal was good but not exceptional. Could choose what I want to add - still was put on there in a fancy way. Rather serving fast although nobody behind in line. Employees talking loud to each other about private things. But didn’t disturb while eating. No Eye-contact when paying rather than just doing job and giving receipt. Food was as I said good. Actually would come again because food matters here to take it practical.
The food is really good here. The beans and rice are made much better here than other at locations. I love the quality of their tortilla chips. It's so worth paying $15 only for a burrito and a soda. My food was so good and the people serving me were so outgoing and friendly! My favorite Chipotle to go to!!
Your average Chipotle. Food is consistent. The only gripe I have is the noise level. The employee running the tortilla steamer would SLAM the lid down after every tortilla. Made me jump out of my skin every damn time. Solid 4 stars. For some reason, they couldn't give me sliced lime; "We don't have that right now." Oh, really? How do you make guacamole without limes? I think they were just too lazy to take 15 seconds out of their day to cut one up. Will probably go again, but California Avenue is only a few blocks away, and a few dollars more.
Chipotle is one of those places that, if you are a fan, you probably won't find much fault with as long as the location follows the script. This location is no exception, usually the line inside is reasonable, and a table is available. Ordering online can be a little slower than going through the line at times (depends on the length of the line of course, which you can't know until you get there). Ordering for pickup is really quick if it is ready when you arrive, just pull up on El Camino Real northbound, hop out of the car, grab you bag of food off the app shelf, then proceed along your way. Also easy if you are biking. Keep cooking Chipotle!
I was there around 3 p.m. between lunch and dinner. It was nearly empty, but their delivery station was doing bang up business with 2 women working that station full time. The food was good and fresh at $17 for 3 custom Crispy tacos. The decor and furnishings were rustic like a Mexican beach palapa. The chairs are welded iron rods holding light plywood seats and backs. The floors are hard concrete and omnipresent wainscoting is vertically corrugated galvanized steel. So, the sound can bounce off all those hard surfaces when it gets crowded. I'd go back.
Decent quantity food compared to other chipotle locations off late that have really cut down on their portions. Not sure if that was because I asked for extra quantities of most ingredients while ordering online.
I come to the chipotle a decent bit whenever I don’t have food at home. The staff members are always kind however, the manager always overlooks their work and told them to give me less food, which is why I’m pretty disappointed. As a personal chipotle stockholder I think that they should give more food to make their customers happier.
I used to go to this Chipotle a lot when they opened and service was great. I went there again tonight and service was laughable. Kitchen area dirty and they were out of few menu items. had 5 workers standing behind counter but had no love preparing food. at the end they simply threw my bowl on counter and gave me a bag to bag it myself. A lot has changed since the last time i was here.
I have been disappointed by the behavior of the same manager at two of my recent visits. He has an abrasive demeanor. A few months ago he questioned an employee about the portion size, in public. 'Is that a double meat" and she replied No. "well it looked like it". Today the female cashier charged me for guacamole , and I had only noticed after reviewing my receipt at the table. The manager questioned the server asking if he recalls serving me guacamole . I was refunded the money, but the manager did not apologize for the error and no eye contact at all from him . The kids work hard and it is difficult to find employees these days. I suggest the manager receive further training in courtesy and respect as well as what constitutes a Hostile Work Environment Be kind!! food ready on time and delicious( review from 11 months ago)
Used to love this place, come here every Saturday, but lately me and my dad and brother can agree that the service has gone down. We often get new people during consecutive weekends and one time I got less than half the normal amount of food in my bowl. In addition, the chips have become absolutely garbage. Warm, salty, delicious chips are now miscolored and saltless. Also, my burritos have been rolled like tennis balls for the past couple weeks. Food still tastes good though.
On my visit today (6/9) to Chipotle in Palo Alto, I was very disappointed with the service I received from the manager. I went to this location with my wife and child and we were going to use our coupons we got at The Cultivate Festival in San Francisco the previous day. The servers were great, but when I got to the end the manager told me that I could only use one coupon per family, when we had all ordered separately. She said she could not help me and that I only could use one coupon. She made me feel as if I was bothering her and she did not want to help me. I am very disappointed in her attitude towards myself and my family. I am an avid fan of Chipotle and love your food. This experience has made me uncomfortable in going to the Palo Alto store in the future.
They never open on time! People are waiting outside but they dont care. They have mentioned the opening time as 10:45 not only on their door but also on tue google map! Now dont give me crap that you tried to change but couldn’t do it. Forget about changing online, you can manually create new daily hours in google sheets, print them and put on your door! Simple as that. With that people would understand and wait! But when you dont give any notice, get ready to bogged down! So management, and i am not talking about store manager but the upper management needs to get into the scene to work on the small things because such stuff plays big role on how you communicate with your customers!
Chipotle is always good, but this spot is a little overworked. There aren't enough staff to deal with peak times. Food ordered for a timed pick-up is often made early and left to get cold before the scheduled pick up time. They're regularly out of ingredients. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is of a typical Chipotle, parking is easy.
Prices overpriced for two people and small portions. Bathroom was not pleasant.
Dinner and weekend are busy most of the time. Ordering on the app was simple but what you get is inconsistent in the amount of food from order to order. Also when you get there there's not much parking and you typically have to wait for someone to hand you your order. That alone can take an extra 15 min.
It was clean and the food was fresh. My issues are: that the cashier appeared, who appeared to be the manager wanted to help so he swapped out containers without using gloves or washing his hands. Portions were super small Line worker was mad when asked to change gloves Cross contamination is bad for vegetarians. The way they touch everything and get meat juices everywhere is pathetic and disgusting.
The kid serving up our food was literally throwing everything around and just didn't look happy to be there. I may be finding someplace different to eat. The dining area wasn't very clean either.
There is a lot of inconsistency at this Chipotle. Sometimes the food is good, but other times it's bland and the chips aren't even salted. They'll let you pay for drinks without telling you that the fountain doesn't work, too. Pretty shady.
To go burritos are bad. They wrap it in aluminium folio which sticks to food and ruins the taste. Lots of ingredients but all are tasteless. Guacamole nachos were better. But guacamole was a darker color at the top when we arrive home in half an hour.
This chipotle location SUCKS! they always skimp on the meat forcing you to order double meat for a decent bowl. They put like 85 servings of sour creme even if you ask for less. Their drink machines are ALLWAYS empty And 1/2 of the time I go there the card system is mysteriously down forcing patrons to pay cash or order through the app where they always screw your order up AND skimp on ingredients!
This Chipotle did not live up to company quality standards. The portions were smaller than usual and meat under flavored, however, the greatest detrimental impact was in health code violation. While building the bowl, a manager was checking temperatures of different items and logging the results. This is expected, however, they went from testing the meat, to the queso, to the vegetables and other toppings without changing tips or sanitizing in-between. Furthermore, workers touched their faces with gloved hands and the back of the house seemed messy. Please improve this.
Very stingy with the portions - got double meat, and guac - still equal to about a single portion at other stores
This specific location is a hit and miss. Sometimes the portions are really small and sometimes they are average, but the inconsistency is what brings me pause and the likelihood of not returning. I had an issue today with the woman’s inability to understand what I was asking of her because she didn’t understand English. Now I am bilingual, but that defeats the point of being able to serve Patrons who are primarily speak English. I did, however, appreciate the help that she sought out, when she realize she was unable to understand me. However, when she was remaking my food, she was confused and was missing some of the items that was on my order. With a limited time for my lunch hour, I accepted a lower standard of customer service I would typically expect. Unfortunately, this is my last visit.
Staff gives long dirty looks when you asked for things on the side. We thanked and apologized, but they acted like we were stray dogs coming in for a free meal.
I've come to this place around 5 times in the past year. The service has gotten worse and worse. The first time, the food was good and the staff was generous with the serving. Unfortunately, the whole place was very messy and dirty. Chairs all over the place and food on the tables. After that, each visit, the staff became more and more stingy. In my last visit yesterday, the wrap size for burritos seems to have gotten smaller, and the server literally puts ~7 small pieces of meat in the burrito, and that's it. I'd recommend going to Starbird which is across the street.
This place gave me food poisoning to me and 2 of my friends. I don’t know what type of measures they take for cleanliness but I will never be going here again. It’s too bad as this is the local spot
This location is terrible. If you have the choice between this and any other Chipotle location, choose a different one. Here's why: - Almost always out of corn - Chips are always really stale - Fajitas are almost never fresh - Smaller protein servings than the average chipotle - Staff seem overworked (especially for $18/hr) but still friendly (good job staff! Shame on your manager though) - Line is incredibly long and moves slowly due to online orders - Typically low on/out of the Berry Agua Fresca - Queso is thicker, colder, and overall less fresh than other Chipotles' Overall, I absolutely love Chipotle, but this location is just terrible. For $20, I got a tiny quesadilla with no corn and day-old Fajitas, a stale chips & queso and a small drink. Not worth it. I expect better from Chipotle, especially one in Palo Alto.
So there was a hair on my food which caused me to lose my appetite. I brought it up to the staff and they didn’t care to even make a new plate for me. Very unprofessional and unhygienic place. Stay far away!
If I could give this place -5 stars I would. Not only did they mess up our order, but they consciously gave us the wrong meat after we politely asked them for chicken. The cashier was kind enough to give us free guacamole but the manager and his staff were completely disorganized and rude when they couldn’t understand the customers order. The fountain drinks were out of order and full of flies. The quesadilla was not good compared to chipotle at the Stanford shopping mall. I definitely do not recommend this place, go to the one at the Stanford Shopping mall. It’s only 4 min away from this location and it’s way better!
They didn't include utensils in my order. I can't eat my food! Woman who answered the phone said it wasn't her problem and hung up on me.
The people were incredibly rude. The rice was stale; the chips are horrible. The cashier did not want to validate my gift card or my QR code from the Chipotle app. Will never come again. So disappointed. Everyone was so incredibly rude— especially the blonde women.
Don’t order online unless you want 3 pieces of meat. It’s actually absurd, I have a giant bowl of rice. Absolutely ridiculous. I also had a giant quarter of an uncooked red onion in my bowl. What is this. Secondly the staff are always rude. I don’t know what the deal is but this chipotle is not it. Go somewhere else or to a different location.
Salad orders have a teaspoon of dressing. It’s not enough, and the store apparently has had numerous complaints from customers and doesn’t care.
Horrible customer from Pedro. If he does not like his job working with customer service he’s clearly working in the wrong industry and shouldn’t be.. they have back kitchen positions if that’s the case. I asked for a extra scoop of steak and he gave me 3 extra pieces, then when I asked for a specific order on my bowl he got bothered and mumbled something, I told him if it’s such a problem I can ask someone else to help. He proceeded to say things to his co worker in front of my face I was not being rude until i seen his remark when I asked for extra steak. Again I wasn’t aware it was a problem he definitely acted like he was paying for it, obviously It’d be extra charge for extra of anything in the bowl. Do better chipotle on hiring especially when they don’t have the customer service skills.
Absolute most messy and disgusting chipotle I’ve ever been to. I wish I took a picture. The resteraunt looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years! Also they were running out of all the meats and said were unable to make more. they were also out of avocado!! I asked to speak with the manager because I saw spooning out servings of guacamole and the manager said this is for online orders only! I told him it’s my mom’s birthday and he said go write a bad review. I am speechless. We asked his name but he refused to give it to us.
Russian roulette of (decent yet unhealthily salty food) (skimpy portion that’s half what you normally get otherwise) (comically wrong order that misses half the ingredients), if you’d rather simply get food to eat instead of jumping in a round of Russian roulette, just avoid. (Their customer service offers you a free drink if you try to contact about a wrong order, so just don’t unless you look forward to enjoying yet another wrong order experience elevated with a free drink)
They are understaffed and consistently losing my online orders. The only way to get my order is to ask for a manager. The tables are not kept clean, the Cashiers all refuse to make any kind attempt to help customers waiting due pickup. They give much less food than other chipotle also. I'll find another one and drive the extra 10 minutes instead of waiting the 30 minutes and being ignored the entire time.
This establishment leaves much to be desired. The service provided here is truly disappointing, and the quality of the food falls far short of expectations. Additionally, upon entering the premises, it's disheartening to observe that the hand sanitizer machine, which should convey cleanliness and safety, is unfortunately tainted with mold. These issues collectively contribute to an unpleasant experience for customers.
I walked in and was stopped in my track by the Death Stare from the male cashier, asking me if he can help me with something!!! So I laughed and said, "Don't worry, I know what to do here.,,", procedure to walk where orders are put in. I was the only one ordering. A female came out where food is ordered, and she stated, "Why am I giving her employees a hard time...." I tried to explain to her as friendly and funny as I could, but she wasn't getting it. As soon as I sat to eat the food. I noticed the female followed me with a broom and started sweeping around me, and she even tried to sweep between my feet. She sweeped on both sides of my feet to the point her floor broom rubbed against my shoes. The sweeping was picking up dust....then she asked me if I was feeling better now.....!!! I put her on the spot and asked her to sweep under another customer table, too.. She refused. customers were asked her to stop sweeping. Either she couldn't understand why it is not hydrogenic to sweep where people eat or It was deliberate. I am 100% sure that it was the latter. I literally had to yell at her to stop sweeping and kicking dust off the carpet in front of soda machines.
We placed an web order for 3 burrito bowls for dinner tonight, waited for 30 minutes outside the restaurant for the order. Got home and found 1 of the 3 orders were missing. Called the restaurant for refund which will take another 5 days. We also had to make a dish at home to make up for the missing order. The trouble outweighs the convenience of the takeout. An update - we called and talked to the store manager about the missing order. The tending manager took our feedback sincerely and offered a free meal coupon for the missing order. We also left feedback in the Chipotle App. The apps reflected two free meal coupons (maybe one was from the manager). We just used one coupon. I would like to give a thumbs up to the post sale customer service from Chipotle. We felt heard and the business seek feedback and proactively took actions.
Pretty low quantity, this is one of the worst chipotle in the area. The guy making bowl just don’t want to put any portion. Ridiculous where chipotle has come to. Poor!!
This chipotle makes no effort to prevent orders from being stolen. They just leave all the orders out on the delivery shelf where anyone can walk in and steal with no questions asked. I’m a delivery driver and had to drive 2 cities over to pick up an order from this chipotle, and when I got here they told me it has already been picked up. The customer said they didn’t receive the order which means the order was stolen. This almost only happens at chipotle because they are one of the only restaurants that leave orders unattended where thieves can easily steal them. I’ve had this happen to me at 4 different chipotle locations and each one has worked with me to remake the order, as they get paid twice for the order, even though it’s their fault it was stolen in the first place. The employee at this location kept telling me they can only remake it if it gets resent through there system, which no other chipotle location requires. Whenever orders are stolen, the popular delivery app I use sends an email to the store, which has a receipt for the 2nd payment as well as the order details so they can remake it. The employees refused to remake the order, or even check the email, because they “can only remake the order if it’s sent through their system”. Like I said before chipotle is one of the only restaurants I have to deal with stolen orders, and every other location works with me to remake them. Not this one. I felt like the employees thought I was lying to them and wanted to get free food, and that’s why they refused to make it. I could be wrong but that’s just how they made me feel. My app doesn’t compensate me for my time, fuel, and vehicle wear that I spent going to this location. I just wasted 30 minutes of my time and received no compensation. Thanks chipotle for making it easy for people to steal food, and not wanting to work with me to get the order remade.
Dude behind the counter working the cash register was also completing the order (adding the salsas, cheese, lettuce, etc) … touched everything else before dipping his hands in the cheese and lettuce to complete my order. Rang the register and was prepping food without switching gloves... and he also adjusted his face mask . 🤮🤢 unhygienic af . Location was also dirty with unattended dining area, trash everywhere and dirty tables.
The workers are extremely rude. We got there 25 minutes before closing time. They only had brown rice, chicken, black beans, hot & medium salsa. They closed the kitchen and didn't inform the customers that were waiting in line that they are out of food. The worst experience we have ever had as far as customer service goes. They had 2 people get up from their table and move to outside seating 20 minutes before closing so that they could clean. Avoid this location.
the portion for regular chicken bowl was too tiny! Seriously? Even gave tiny portion of rice? Is rice expensive? I’m confused.
Manager yelled at me and threatened to kick me out after I asked for bigger proportions, he also implied I need to lose some weight. Fire the manager he’s extremely rude
This Chipotle used to be our go to spot but no more. They reduced their portions down to one spoon of rice, one spoon of chicken. It’s understandable that they want to save money and not waste food, but they should be willing to add more when requested, so that hungry young men can eat a good lunch. That kind of stinginess takes the joy out of going out to eat. We won’t be going back there. So sad.
Extra small portions, eat here only if you are on a DIET . Even adding extra meat the portion will be smaller than a regular chipotle. You will get a 1/3 of a bowl. Such a great location but I don’t Understand why the manager is so stingy with the food. I used to come Here every Sunday but today was my last time, also the lettuce was brownish and sticky.
Woman manager refused to give even water because she had no cups. I said I would take anything just super thirsty the worst service I’ve ever received. Also they hella skimp on portions at this location and their chicken isn’t as good as other locations.
They service online orders first. So I stood in line for an hour for no reason. Like my god !!!!!!! It was like my god !!! Then I told them and they rushed me out… man unless you’re poor and on a date .. no reason to ever go in that place Just do an online order the people aren’t even real people they’re like non-player characters in a video game. That’s how they feel. I’d say just order online and treat them like what they are non-player characters. I know this because I went full Karin and asked for a manager and called their line and … I assure you they’re not real Because I couldn’t get ahold of anyone
Food is 👍🏼. Staff 🙈🤢 (specially the 300lb lady in the front). Go to the one at Stanford mall instead
I’ve already had two really bad experiences at this chipotle. This weekend I came back to ask for another burrito because the meat was very cold and I was afraid of getting sick from this. The manager was incredibly rude to me and tried to tell me that there was no way the meat was cold in a very condescending manner. After I told him I did not want to eat it because it tasted bad and I was afraid of becoming sick, he took the burrito from my hand, threw it away in front of my face and told me if I wanted another one, that I needed to make the long line again. I had already wasted 20 minutes ordering this cold burrito and trying to sort the situation out with him so I had no time to make the line and therefore I left without a meal. I have never been treated this way, and it honestly made me feel afraid.
Service is slow even tho there’s no people inside! Work environment is unorganized!
Chick just dug her finger in my bowl trying to see which one was brown and which one was white after she just marked the bowl white. I was very kind when I told her that I wasn't eating it. The dark big manager comes up, blaming me, saying I always come in screaming at them. To be fair none of them speak english well and as a nurse i know better to never scream at someone for not speaking english but there is definitely a language barrier which causes them to make mistakes often with my orders. I am shaking while writing this because I am so hungry . That's okay, I'll like to see how the board of health would like to know how they stick their fingers in peoples food and berate them when they refuse to eat it
I had a disappointing experience at this Chipotle location. The staff was very rude and impatient, rushing me to order while I was still trying to figure out the options. As a result, I felt pressured and ended up missing out on some ingredients I wanted. It’s frustrating to feel hurried and not get what you actually wanted in your meal. I hope they work on improving their customer service.
Went and they wouldn’t honor corporate costume deal. Left and went to another close by Chipotle that did. Also will not give extra rice and beans when you do pay full price. I am done with this Chipotle. Go to any other one in the area for a better experience.
Tonight I had an extremely humiliating and upsetting pickup experience at this Chipotle. I placed a Chipotle app order for pickup under the name Andy L. When I arrived, there were no employees at the pickup area, so I went to take the bag labeled with my name. A cashier abruptly stopped serving another customer, ran over, and yanked the bag out of my hand. That sudden physical action startled me and felt aggressive. I immediately said I was picking up the order for Andy L, and I tried to verify the order contents verbally. She still refused to hand it over and called over another employee. I explained that I did not have my personal phone with me, so I could not open the Chipotle app—I only had a business phone at the time. I provided additional item details(chicken, extra fajita veggies, extra lettuce), but they continued treating me like I was attempting to steal. Eventually I spent several minutes digging through email on my business phone and pulled up the email confirmation. Instead of apologizing for how this was handled, they laughed and made a comment about me “not having confirmation,” then told me, “Just grab your bag and go.” From beginning to end, I was treated like an unwelcome person—not a paying customer. When I asked for an apology for the aggressive and disrespectful behavior, I was told they needed an apology from me. I understand stores need to prevent pickup theft. That does not justify physically grabbing items from customers, escalating the situation, mocking a customer, or refusing basic courtesy once the order is verified. This was embarrassing, stressful, and completely avoidable.
I had a very bad experience. The customer service was extremely poor, and I was overcharged. No one approached me to provide an explanation or try to resolve the issue. The level of professionalism from the managers was very disappointing.
One of the more egregious offenders for small portions. Obvious common knowledge, but if you were on the fence for pickup/ delivery here, don’t chance it. Completely reminded of why I don’t spend money here anymore. Embarrassing company image
Paid $13 for an absurdly small burrito. Maybe the smallest burrito I've ever eaten. It was smaller than my hand lying flat. Tiny amounts of each ingredient in a giant tortilla. Do not go here.
- Portions are especially small - Chicken quality significantly worse than other locations - Service is dismal - Even the small stuff like napkins and drink lids were not stocked Recommend going to Stanford shopping mall location instead
I waited in line for a long time to get my food, and when it was finally my turn, they told me there was no chicken left. How ridiculous. The management is very bad. The staff are slow, not polite, and the tables were not clean.
Portion is small compared to to other locations. Service is horrible. Asked me to get in the queue again when I’m finishing my order with a quesadilla on top of two rice bowls. For what? I’ve never been into a restaurant where you need to get in the queue again to finish an order.
I am here multiple times a month and recently I found the steak quality is significantly down. So dry and it feels that it has been stored for a very long time. I could not chew most of it and end up throwing away. Please pay attention to the meat quality consistency if you are the store manager and see this review.
This restaurant has messed up my pick up order 4 out of 5 times. Don’t know how difficult it is to just make sure that all the items ordered are in the bag. Every time I open the bag and check - didn’t do it once today and I came back home to see missed items.
What happened with chipotle?? They seriously reduced the portions and have raised the price for everything across the board/menu! I wouldn’t mind the price hike if the food was decent! But honestly….I would not give this food to a stray dog! Well maybe I would just to satisfy the poor dog’s hunger!! The food sits out on display for a long while and becomes dry and unappealing. When you ask someone to replenish the food they look at you as if you had a third eye or something. I noticed that they had heavy takeaway traffic. I don’t understand how Chipotle has fallen way below standards. They use to be really good….not any longer. That ship has come and gone!!💯💯🤯🧐
Chipotle online has a new feature where you can order “build you own” which serves 4-6 people. (Catering is minimum 10 people). I picked it up and asked for extra plates (I have little kids). The manager looked at me like I was an alien. She said you didn’t order catering. You don’t get plates with this order. I was confused since there were a few plates already in the bag. I asked if I could pay for them. She said $1.65 EACH plate. It’s crazy to say your own build your own option is not catering? I paid $80 for build you own but can’t get a few extra plates?
Some time ago, I had really bad service at this Chipotle. The cashier was quite disrespectful when I asked a question about getting a bag (she told me to "just wait"). I was disappointed, but kept going to give it another chance. Besides poor and lower quality portions, this Chipotle has degraded over the past two years. My most recent visit consisted of a lady server not saying a single word, and when I asked for lettuce, she just packed the burrito because there wasn't much lettuce left (but I thought there was some on the way). I'm not sure what has happened, but the culture there has really gone down. I hope the employees there are doing ok.
I was very disappointed with my recent visit. A bay leaf was accidentally thrown into my bowl by the first employee and then picked out by the next. On top of that, I also found a piece of avocado peel in my food. The preparation felt very rushed, with three different employees taking turns making my bowl and tossing the ingredients in carelessly. I understand it was lunchtime, but even during busy hours, quality and attention to detail should not be overlooked.
Absolutely terrible experience at this Chipotle. I came in today specifically for the free guacamole offer. I ordered a veggie bowl and a tortilla on the side in person, not realizing the guac deal only applied to online orders. When I offered to just place the same order on the app and take the bowl they had already made, the older woman at the counter flat-out refused. She gave no real reason, just said something vague about too many online orders or that since I ordered in person, I had to pay in person. It made no sense and felt like she just didn’t want to deal with me. I left without arguing, but when I got back home, I realized they forgot the tortilla I asked for. I walked all the way back to let them know, and instead of apologizing or fixing it politely, that same woman started arguing with me again telling me I never ordered a tortilla, even though she wasn’t the one who made my food! And this isn’t the first time. The last time I went to this location, they forgot the tortilla too. I caught it before leaving that time, but now it’s clear this place constantly messes up orders and worse, treats customers like we’re the problem. The woman working the counter was rude, dismissive, and had a terrible attitude both times. I’m honestly disgusted by how I was treated. Is this really the level of service Chipotle thinks is acceptable? They also usually don't give enough food compared to other locations. Only eat here if you want to leave hungry. The customer service at this location is beyond pathetic. Avoid this place unless you want to be ignored, argued with, or sent home with a messed-up order.
This was my “double” chicken portion, dude gave me like two half scoops and was shaking the second scoop to get a couple pieces off that were touching the spoon (I would understand if it was a mountain of chicken but this was so light). Man was even rationing the rice… like we’re not at war 😭. For a $16 meal this is pretty ridiculous.
There are a lot of complaints in the reviews which is unfortunate. I just came to warn that the amount of food they provided was very, very noticeably low in comparison with literally every other Chipotle I’ve ever tried🥲Staff on this shift had okay attitude, but I do think this factor brings it down to “not worth it” because you’re mainly paying for the food in the end not the atmosphere or staff demeanor. But they did literally just sweep underneath our feet as we were eating at a table which was a little awkward, haha The meat also tastes a little funny. Maybe not spoiled, but definitely not fresh or well stored.
Andre loves to rush customers and embarrass them. Today I give this location a second try and Andre orellana was extremely rude. He is a manger and he talks to his staff like it’s a sweat shop. My card did. It go through and he pressured me to wait on the person behind. Andre is in appropriate and I refuse to spend my money at this location. I warned Him that I would be posting a negative review about my experience. As a manger he did not try remedy or apologize for embarking me or rushing me. She said please write a review. When I came to this page I saw the low reviews other wrote and it’s obvious he isn’t concern with the customers needs Very unhappy with the service provided today by Maria. She was most rude, we asked if she can use more bean juice and light beans, she said she can’t do that but they do it at every other Chipotle. Rushed through my order when I made it clear exactly what I wanted. When I am a customer, I am not just paying for the food hut also the service and we should be treated fair like everyone else, not like we’re in an assembly line. There’s no appreciation for these jobs especially when The Chipotle by Stanford mall only so only orders and customer service is turning in the hands of AI.
Today's experience for the first time was pretty awful, the people serving food @ 1:17 pm Are in a bad mood and horrible customer service, paid $15 dollars for a bowl and they are not portioning the food properly, I believe if they should be using a scale to weigh their food also my chips were stale. I believe this location means proper training towards their employees. I don't recommend this place, look for something else.
We ordered two burritos on Uber Eats from this location (Uber Eats was fine, this review is on Chipotle). I was completely shocked when we received them. They were literally 1/3 the size of what they should have been. They also lacked the guac we paid for ($8 worth!). There were maybe 5 pieces of meat in the entire thing (I could literally count this because they were so few and so ridiculously over-salted). Mostly just beans and rice. Just really sad. Trying my hardest to get a refund.
