Opiniones de Flor de Sol Albans
Muy bien ambientado. La comida y el servicio de 10. Las raciones abundantes. No os lo perdáis
The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was just as incredible! Martin was our server, and he did an amazing job explaining the menu, giving recommendations, and making our margaritas perfectly. Everything we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend the Paella Valenciana, the pulpo, and the mussels with sausage. We also had the calamari, which tasted very fresh, and the 5 de Mayo guacamole with mango was out of this world. Overall, such a great experience!! Amazing food and service. Highly recommend!
Excellent. Every dish was delicious. Red Sangria was smooth and tasty. Highly recommend
What an absolutely incredible experience. I came to Flor De Sol for a friend's birthday dinner. I was the first to arrive and was greeted warmly and very quickly had a delicious margarita while I waited. The food was absolutely incredible and so were the drinks! My favorite was the octopus and the paella! I cannot wait to come back and try more items. Cheers to an amazing place!
My friends and I stumbled upon this restaurant while driving around Astoria. We were pleasantly surprised and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. We enjoyed the avocado salad, paella marinera, and filet mignon. We had the sangria which was authentic and very tasty, in fact we enjoyed it a little too much 🤭. This will definitely be listed as one of my favorites and my friends and I are definitely returning!
This restaurant is an absolute hidden gem in Astoria/ Long Island city area. We met the owner and Chef, Alberto as we arrived, not fulling knowing who he was, he was very friendly and inviting! Every staff member was welcoming and gave a outstanding service in hospitality. We ordered multiple dishes, and im very happy that we did! We tried the tostonies, grilled octopus, avocado salad, skirt steak, and seafood piaya. Every item was cooked to perfection, not one thing was over cooked or dry, the dishes quality and portion sizes were impressive, his son also makes some really good margaritas! Highly recommend everyone in the area to give this one a try, makes a really great dinner date location as well. I personally highly praise the owner and staff of this location, you all have done one amazing job and definitely left an impression that most places in the area cannot achieve. You guys have the right approach and need to be recognized for your hard work.
As far as im concerned, the best Spanish restaurant I've been to in NYC. We went for lunch and the food was amazing. We had pulpo, sausages, the mushroom caps with crab, and the jamon with manchego. We also had a half pitcher of sangria which was perfect for my wife and I, and wasnt the best sangria I've ever had but damn near close. Usually tapas portions are pathetic but this place was very generous. I only wish I had the chance to try the paella, for which we will definitely be back. Theres maybe 10 tables inside so its very intimate, and the wait staff was so gracious and especially friendly to my 3 year old son. Hidden gem!
The staff were very kind, especially Kevin, he was a gentleman! The food was very good and the environment was nice. Would definitely go here again!
This restaurant was a bit off the beaten path, but the food was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. We’ll definitely be back!
Very nice spot in the heart of Queens. I tried the paella and it was phenomenal. The red Sangria was even better! Bon appetit!
Loveeed the food, got the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. I recommend to get the Tres leches desert.
The food and hospitality here is amazing. It is a hidden gem and highly recommended.
Staff was very attentive! Food was really good! Definitely coming back again!
Really great food!
Great place to dine!
Delicious food
The food was great! The portions are big. The drinks were also really good and the waiters are really attentive. I especially loved their churros! A must have
You can taste the freshness and quality. It’s the small details that makes their food stand out! Better than restaurants in the city , and top it off with friendly service . 5 out of 5 stars ( Delicous in-house tres leches cake , a must try)
I had an amazing experience with this restaurant. The food is to die for! The drinks… will get you there. The chef comes out to say hi and asks if you enjoyed the food. Hands downs a great restaurant. Our second time to here and won’t be the last.
We ordered guava & mango margaritas. And the Drinks were spot on! It’s not too sweet not too strong. It’s perfect. I’ve always came here for the tapas specifically the champioñes rellenos & patatas bravas it never misses 😍! If you’re looking for some quiet and peaceful dinner come here.
If you want to enjoy a real and delicious Spanish meal, you must come to this restaurant located in a very quiet area of Astoria. It really is a pleasure to come and enjoy the place, its service, and its excellent food. The atmosphere will make you feel at home. It is a small restaurant, but that increases the quality of the service. I have been coming to this restaurant for a long time, and now that they have changed management, they have further improved the delicious food that I have already enjoyed.
Flor de Sol is a brand new restaurant in LIC. I can definitely say it was well worth it. Food, customer service and Atmosphere were on top. I highly recommend this spot.
Highly recommend getting the entraña with patatas a la española. The meat is well seasoned and you can taste how everything was cooked with attention and love. The sangria is very good along with their margaritas. The service was very attentive and caring. Definitely check this place out!
Great food and service A cozy place The tv was a bit louder than my preference but overall very good
Food and liquor was good, the waitstaff nice and prices honest. I loved my experience there.

Waiter is so attentive and friendly the food was delicious.
The food at this restaurant was truly impeccable! It's one of the few places that consistently serves high-quality, delicious cuisine. I highly recommend the Chuletas de Cordero a la Parrilla, which is accompanied by a fantastic red wine reduction that elevates the dish to new heights. As a new establishment, my experience was a solid 10/10. I can't wait to return for another delightful meal!
One of the best and most authentic Spanish restaurants in the area, the food is great, the service and the attention to every detail go beyond, and the variety of tapas gives you so many options to try. I highly recommend this place if you want to taste the best in Spanish food.
Food is excellent, service was great the staff really gets involved with the customers in a good way! Been going there since 2017 (formerly Cafe Óle) and every time food is consistently great!!!
Gem in Astoria! Great tapas, service is over the top. Could not recommend more.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and valued. From the personalized recommendations to checking in on us throughout the meal, their attention to detail was exceptional. It’s rare to encounter such thoughtful and genuine service. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience!
It was amazing!!! They truly know how to make amazing food. Do not hesitate to try it. The service was amazing and so nice to us. And the environment was just sooo inviting. TRY IT IMMEDIATELY. I loved it
Absolutely amazing, even better than some of thr tapas we had in Madrid. A true hidden gem.
Everything about this restaurant is perfect and it’s taken me far too long to review. Let me start by saying the service is top notch. Our server was so friendly, polite and accommodating, even when our friend was an hour late. We sat at a lovely little table near the window on a cold night. Drinks were brought promptly along with some delicious bread. If I remember correctly the glasses of wine were only $8-9 each which is an incredible price! Each and every tapa was DELICIOUS. We ordered several plates including shrimp, meatballs, mussels, and stuffed mushrooms. The spices were excellent, portions the perfect size for sharing, exactly what you’d ever want from a tapas spot. We were there for several hours, just ordering and eating random food and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a while. At the end, the chef came out to chat, he is just lovely! They gave us a delicious little shot of lemon to top it all off. We can’t wait to go back! And trust me, WE WILL BE BACK!
Amazing food and excellent service! It was our first time at this restaurant and everything was so delicious! The staff was friendly, attentive and welcoming from start to finish. Definitely a place I will come back to!
Found this restaurant by chance and soon realized this was the same restaurant from years ago in Tribeca. Before all of the internet influences the way restaurants became popular was by producing a consistently great product and a wonderful atmosphere not a subjective influencer taking nice photos. Well Flor De Sol was a trendy Tribeca hot spot. From A-Listers to the Blue-collar worker. Always a great vibe and wonderful food. It has been closed for many years but still a topic of conversation when talking about Spanish food. Well, I went into the Queens location, and the vibe was really nice and reflective to the original Manhattan spot. As each dish arrived the memory and the taste were the same. I talked with the Chef and shared stories of our previous experiences and the food here was exactly the same. This place is incredibly authentic, and the Chefs are top notch and care for each plate that is served. The food is fresh and perfectly prepared at a fair price.
I absolutely love this restaurant. It's a cozy small place very nice and clean. The food is phenomenal and I definitely have been here a few times and recommend it. The prices are affordable and that's a good thing.

Id love to give 4.5 actually. My friend and I, we ordered Pulpo Al Chef, chorizos salteados, croquetas del dia, Paella Valenciana and Tres Leches. Pulpo Al Chef was so good. Loved it. Croquetas I love it. The Chorizos, i dont like the type of the sausage, but I like how they make it the dish with the onion and everything. I wish they used different type of sausages. The Paella, not the best I ever had, I feel it less flavoured. Their trea leches was amazing. I loved it. The textures and how its not too sweet. Perfect Service was great. Love the server. Love everything
I really want to give this restaurant 5 stars because the food was delicious, atmosphere was great, and service was tremendous. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the paella. Everything else was spot on. And don't get me wrong, they put a lot of seafood (and chorizo if you order that dish) in the paella, but the consistency or the dish was off. It was almost as if they made yellow rice and the seafood separately and mixed them together. That said, I definitely recommend this place for a night out with close friends if you're in that 30+ age range, or with family for a celebration. Pulpo a la plancha is a must order! It was incredible. We had a bunch of tapas and everything was delicious. Cocktails were well made, too. Good tiramisu and truffle espresso chocolate with ice cream. All around, a really great restaurant that I look forward to going to again.

Not an authentic Spanish restaurant..serving something called " maduro frito" is not Spanish at all..maduros are not even used in Spain😆😆....the "paella " looked like a bowl of yellow rice with seafood..it's either Mexican or Cuban but definitely not Spanish...overpriced....drinks were the best part
