OMG This place blew my mind, beautiful set up, service is excellent from entering to leaving! The food is outstanding with several guys floating to tables ( remember to leave your card green side up) with several delicious meats of all sorts. The salad bar is beautiful with a big selection. Our host explained the best way to explore everything so we could gat a little of everything desired, and some drinks mixed on the cart at your table. Drinks cost extra, all well mixed but the $56 covered all the rotating meats, salad bar, rice and soup. You can get the a la cart items to go, and there is a nice selection of deserts served up super bougie. Definitely give this place a go, amazing experience

You simply must experience this culinary gem for yourself! My first visit was an absolute delight from start to finish, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The entire team took exceptional care of us, providing a level of attentive service that sets this establishment leagues apart from any other buffet-style dining I've ever encountered. It's a truly splendid and unique experience that you won't want to miss!

You won't leave hungry! Celebrated my husband's 58th birthday at this restaurant tonight. He ordered the 'Full Experience' and I ordered tje 'Market Bar only' The Market Bar is an enhanced Salad Bar with a lot to choose from. My husband enjoyed the variety of meat served on Brazilian-style grilled skewers. Service was amazing 👏 Lada was a real standout for her friendliness and service. The ambiance is very relaxing and feels very upscale. This restaurant offers a unique dining experience to be sure!

This is a great place if you are looking to try a wide variety of meats. They had so many great options to sample. The tri tip was probably my favorite. I had everything from steak to lamb to chicken to pork. It was all pretty good overall. I like how you get fresh cuts every time. You can even ask for anything, and they will bring it right over to your table. Our server was great and checked in with us often. As soon as you're seated, you can flip your card to green and start eating! We ended up ordering a cheesecake for desert, and it was really delicious. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely be back again.

Alejandra, Monique (hopefully i spelt it right) and Norma are the reason why our night went amazing. Amazing customer service and an amazing experience out of any restaurant we went to.

This place is a must, at least once. The food, service, vibe was all amazing. The servers were attentive the entire time. We never wanted for anything. Love the experience. You place the green card on the table for continuous carving service and turn it to red for the chefs to stop offering. Then the different offerings of carved meats. Lamb, sirloin, tri tip, pork, bacon wrapped, chicken, longanisa sausage, you name it they had it!!! Then they had a side hot bar. Beef stroganoff, white rice, pasta, etc. And the cold salad bar and charcuterie. It was an amazing experience. Drinks are expensive though.

Most impressed with the service at Serra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse. The servers moved around the floor very quickly and they were Not on roller skates. Old fashioned hustle was evident as they descended on table after table with really juicy meats. I was especially impressed with the quality and amount of food at the salad bar. I wished the infants taken to the restaurant by their parents were a little quieter but they were hungry too. The manager came over and talked with us for awhile. He seemed to be quite a good conversationalist and really added to our overall appreciation . Some food items seemed a bit saltier than I preferred but that’s my own personal taste. Maybe it wasn’t salt but something else that gave a few of the meats a salty taste. We don’t cook with salt and so anything that is the least bit salted tastes salty. Anyway, the quality of the food was worth the price. Almost forgot to mention the Brazilian Flan. The desserts was exceptionally great! Don’t miss out when you’re finished with all the meats and wondering whether you have room for dessert.

Came for my friend's birthday but all at our table were treated like royalty. Madelyn stopped by our table and made sure our drinks were full while the servers brought many delicious cuts of meats. Nothing but good things to say about this wonderful place thank you for a great dining experience!!

This place is heaven. I died but it was worth it. Salad bar was good (my husband hates salad and liked it) rolls were heaven, the meat was delicious especially the house special, and bottomless drinks were amazing. I didn’t think it could be any better but then we had dessert. It’s all about food. Gluten free friendly (minus the rolls). Service was fantastic!

My family loved this place. Service was first rate. We were made comfortable from the mo.ent we sat down. From the single price for the meal you get your choice of lots of meat,. Chicken , lamb, beef, and pork. It's all brought to your table and sliced off a skewer. The filet and the pork are fantastic. Try the beef stroganoff at the salad bar. Items at the salad are different and delicious.

Wayyyy better than Fogo. I didn’t feel claustrophobic and packed in like sardines here. It was spacious seating. Customer service is point. Everyone comes to check up on you if you need drink refills. The meats are all juicy and flavorful. I can’t wait to come back

My boyfriend and I have naturally became regulars here! Manager Norma, Rachael, Justine, Ned, Marcos, Richard, Monique and always greeting us when we first walk in, Laly. Sooo many others apart of the Serra Gaucha crew continue and we know will always treat us with smiles and have ways to make us feel welcome. Everything about this place makes us come back! The Picanha, Bottom Sirloin and crispy candied bacon are a bonus for us too!

My family and I like to eat at Brazilian Steakhouses when we travel. How can you not like an all you can eat meat menu with table side service? On our last trip to Arizona we were looking for options and found Serra Gaucha just a few minutes down the road. We had never been to this particular restaurant before and even though it was unfamiliar, we decided to give it a shot. We were not disappointed. Most Brazilian steakhouses do very well with all of their cuts of meat, but we have found some to serve pork and chicken very dry. This particular steakhouse did an absolutely wonderful job with these two cuts of meat. The bacon wrapped portions were very juicy, and the flavor was fantastic and the chicken that came with the Parmesan was equally as juicy and delicious. The service was great and the anti-pasta bar was what you would expect from a Brazilian steakhouse. Be sure to try their version of an Arnold Palmer, which is lemonade and tea mixed together, with just a slight twist. We found that Brazilian steakhouses don’t do lemonade, but they do limeade and tea so my son and I have affectionately called this drink the Gregg Palmer. Overall, this was a great experience and if we visit the area again, we will be back.

Very good but some person didn't flush the toilet and I had to get out of the bathroom fast. Back to the restaurant the service and food was wonderful.

The staff was so friendly. Every single person was cheerful, interacting and made the whole experience better. It was our first time, Christmas Eve, and we had an amazing time.

This place is great! It is more expensive than other restaurants in the area, but it is so worth it! Unlimited delicious meats of all kinds. Different cuts of beef, chicken, pork, and lamb all delivered to your table on some type of sword (or rotisserie spit maybe) and then cut off in slices onto your plate. There's also tons of other amazing Brazilian foods that have no end, like fried bananas (my favorite), cheese bread (my favorite), grilled white cheddar cheese drizzled with honey(also my favorite, it sounds strange but it's so dang good!!!). Everything here is my favorite! It's an experience.

Absolutely amazing customer service, and the steaks? Incredible!!! Miguel and Alejandra were our waitress and they were more than in point!. Always checking our drinks, what we would like on terms of steaks terms and cuts, anything we wanted they bring it. WAY Y BETTER THAN FOGO DE CHAO

Lada and Marcos were great! I love this place. The food is always so good! We celebrated our twins' birthday and Lada was very accommodating. Marcos was also very helpful with the wine menu.

Serra Gaúcha Brazilian Steakhouse in Peoria was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming, elegant, and comfortable—perfect for a special night out. The food was phenomenal: every cut of meat was perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and brought out hot and fresh, while the salad bar and sides were equally impressive and thoughtfully prepared. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the service. David and the entire crew were beyond amazing—attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure we were taken care of. Their professionalism and warmth elevated the entire evening and made us feel valued and welcomed. Highly recommend for incredible food, outstanding service, and a fantastic atmosphere!

Had an amazing Christmas dinner there. The salad bar had so many fresh and delicious options. Service was top notch! J.T. and the other staff worked as a team to ensure we were always attended to. Price was fair for the quality of the food.

We dined here on Christmas Day in the evening. It was busy. While we had a reservation they were running about 30 minutes behind. After being seated we turned our cards to green and waited a little then decided to get some salad bar. When we returned to the table a server still had not came. Eventually the meat started coming. It was good. ***What made the evening better was the manager noticing we had not been offered drinks and had been over looked. She immediately got our drinks and offered free dessert. The service was better from there. Thank you for making it right! It does still make a difference.

This place never disappoints! Amazing food and excellent atmosphere! Bring your appetite as you will be eating a lot! The salad bar with all the cheeses and different salads is great! All their steak cuts are amazing. Check the menu and pick what you like as well to be served!

My wife is from Brazil and we went for our anniversary. She was completely amazed with the food and the service. Definitely the best Brazilian restaurant in town. The service was the best we've had anywhere in a long time. TJ treated us like we were the only ones there and did a great job. We also got a free desert for our special occasion which was fantastic. We got the flan and it was the best we've ever had. We can't express enough how great of an experience this was.

We recently visited Serra Gaucha and had a great overall experience. The concept of continuously serving different cuts of steak until you’re full was excellent, and the quality of the meats and service were really good. The staff was attentive and kept the steaks coming, which we loved. The only small drawback was that we had to specifically ask for the lamb and chicken, as they weren’t offered automatically like the other cuts. Apart from that, everything else—from the food to the ambiance—was enjoyable. Definitely worth visiting if you’re a steak lover.

Went here for a church group dinner. Service was superb. Food was delicious. I thought the lamb was a little underseasoned, but good. Dessert was yummy. We had the back room to ourselves.

Our family went out for Easter, our reservation was for 3:30. We were seated promptly. The food was delicious. We opted for the extra bbq pineapple, I would highly recommend adding it to your meal as it was delicious!

We've celebrated birthdays twice here. Atmosphere is excellent! Meat is touch and go, it seems. This time, all my shrimp and most meats were overcooked. The mashed potatoes seemed tastier this time, as were most of the sides. The drinks were amazing! I am hopeful that the chefs/cooks will find some sort of system for consistency with the grill as I want to love this place!

The food was excellent, I am sure the service might be better on normal nights The only problem I had was we had an 8 pm dinner reservation and it looks like they overbooked we did nit get seated till 8:45 pm

Valentine's Day .... here for dinner. Way too many little tables that were crammed onto the dining floor. We were shown to a table 10' away from the hostess stand. When I asked about a booth close by, waitress told us we couldn't, and when we asked for a different chair other than the little folding chair, she said she couldn't do that, either ... then walked away ... never saw her again. Food was OK, but likely won't be back. We finished up the night at Village Inn for pie and coffee ..... it's more comfortable here!!

Atmosphere wasn't bad. Just seemed a little bland. Service was great. Food was plenty. If you love cheese bread this place has great cheese bread. Dessert was awesome. For a price tag of $50.00 I thought it was good. You have to pay extra for a whole grilled pineapple.

Food wasn't bad, the experience as a whole was, The salad bar is done well. You pay fine dining prices and have a buffet experience in a nutshell. Cost over $100. for (2 with no cocktails) The decor is what's been in the building since the eighties or early 90's even just updated paint colors would help. Should be a date night experience but it's not.

Four of us went for New Years eve. It was a major disappointment once we finished the salad bar. Only the house favorite meat was good. The others were tough and tasteless. I was embarrassed I had chosen this for our group . The final straw was no paper towels in the restroom and it was only 6pm. I have been to several Brazilian steakhouses, this was my least favorite.

R

This restaurant is very expensive, as a couple, we spent around $200 with just one drink. They also included a 20% gratuity tip without informing us as we sat with another group of people. The prices are not justified considering the service we received. We were ignored and forgotten about throughout our dinner. Despite reservations, we had to wait half an hour to be seated. The restaurant seems to have reserved too many people, as it was extremely packed, and overall not a good experience. The food was alright but you'd be better off going somewhere else for better food considering the price range.

55$ per person for salad bar and unlimited meats. Kids 5 and under eat free so that’s cool. The salad bar was fresh and had a good amount of food. More of a cold bar not salad specific. Fruits, cheeses, meats, rice, beans, bacon etc. At the table you get free mashed potatoes and cheese bread. They bring meats and a few other hot items like grilled pineapple and honey cheese bread around to carve at the table. I personally did not enjoy any of the steak. It was all tough and very chewy. The bacon wrapped filet was almost impossible to bite through. My wife and I felt like we were skipped over a lot and didn’t have as attentive service the other people dining there. The two younger guys were nice but We both felt our initial server was rude. She might have just not wanted to deal with young children. I will say we weren’t dressed up as it was a spur of the moment dinner and we had two young kids with us so sometimes people aren’t excited to see a young family at an upscale establishment..even though we always tip well. My wife liked the cold bar a lot and my daughter enjoyed the food but I would not return. Besides the sirloin, It was some of the worst steak I have ever had. The old fashioned was pretty good and the bacon at the cold bar was probably the best bacon I’ve ever had.

This experience was honestly disappointing, especially given the occasion. Making the reservation was easy and the night started off fine. However, the food itself was pretty subpar. Having been to several Brazilian steakhouses before, this one really fell short. Even something as standard as grilled pineapple came at an extra cost — $13 for a half and $20 for a full. When we questioned it, our server sarcastically reassured us that “you can always take it home,” which only highlighted how nickel-and-dimed the experience felt. Between that and other items, it became clear that most things were add-ons rather than included. What made this more frustrating is that this was a very special night. My parents flew in from Canada to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with our family, and I called ahead earlier in the day to make sure the restaurant was aware. At the end of the night, the complimentary anniversary dessert was brought out in a very nonchalant way. The server said something along the lines of, “so I have an anniversary dessert,” with no celebratory tone at all. To top it off, our table hadn’t been cleared, creating an awkward pause while plates were cleared during what should have been a meaningful moment. Credit where it’s due: the gauchos (meat carvers) were excellent. They were friendly, attentive, and very accommodating — especially for guests who prefer their meat more well done. Drink service was also attentive throughout the meal. If you’re looking for average food with service that’s just okay, this place might work. But for a special occasion — especially one you communicate ahead of time — the lack of care at key moments really spoiled the night. That’s why this ends up being a two-star experience for us.

My husband and I are usually very fond of this restaurant, and we live in Scottsdale near the 2 other popular Brazilian steakhouses and prefer to drive the 45 minutes to Serra Gaucha on the west side of town because we usually prefer the food and atmosphere. We decided to make a reservation for Valentines Day this year which was a huge mistake. To preface this, we have gone to Fogo on Valentines Day and our experiences have been lovely and surprisingly good service despite being a very busy day for them. Unfortunately we made the mistake of driving 45 minutes to Serra Gaucha this year and left immediately after being sat. I am unsure why this restaurant felt the need to pack people in so tight we could hold hands with the table next to us. The atmosphere was horrible and zero privacy. We were sat at the worst possible table, immediately next to the host stand where they yelled names every 30 seconds, were in direct line of sight 8 feet away from the crowd waiting to be sat, and sat in folding chairs??? The couple sat next to us were displeased as well but had not said anything. After kindly requesting a different table, we were told no so we left. Valentine’s Day is not about packing couples in like cattle to make the most money, it is about ensuring guests have a nice environment to have conversation and enjoy each others company. We are so disgusted with the experience that we cannot stop thinking about it. It’s truly a disappointment since Serra Gaucha has been our preferred Brazilian steakhouse. Do better

K
Kris Viscarra

My husband and I ate here for Valentine's Day and we were very disappointed in both the service and the atmosphere, however the food was delicious. They had everyone seated at tiny cocktail tables with folding chairs. Not romantic at all. The servers were so lost. They didn't know the table numbers. We weren't even sure who our server was. If we are going to go out for Valentine's Day we expect more. It was very crowded and to be honest very uncomfortable. I felt like I was in a cheap all you can eat buffet instead of a steak house. We will not choose this restaurant again for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner.

Food is excellent. The staff is great. But the way they run their business is asinine. They seat walk ins over reservations. What’s the point of making reservations??? This is the 3rd time I’ve encountered this mishap. Save tables and limit reservations.

T
Travis Leib

Ok. Very frustrated. Made reservations, and an hour later, im still 17 names deep. I get it. Its busy. However, you know this business, and there should be no reason you get that behind. 30 mins, 45 mins, possibly. 2 hours late on a reservation ?? Then, on top of that, you have a hostess literally yelling names from the podium. Everyone that was waiting was confused, and everyone eating was annoyed. In a day where txt msgs are the thing, whats going on here?? Unacceptable. I wish I could leave a review about the food. But how could I know ???

My boyfriend made us a reservation a MONTH in advance, and we were told we are 10-15 people behind. We’re both very upset as this was our Valentine’s Day dinner just to be told to wait a long time. What was the point of a reservation if we have to wait for many other people.

A
Alishia D

Booked reservations weeks in advance for valentine’s dinner. Arrived early and after 25 mins past our reservation time asked how long and was told there were 20 parties ahead of us so at least 1-1/12hr wait. It was disorganized chaos and completely unacceptable. We’ve never been here before and this was such a huge disappointment.

S
Steven Raboy

I had booked reservations for dinner at 5:30pm 2 weeks in advance for this place.. It was valentines days so the parking lot was crazy. We arrived at 5:25 and spent about 10 minutes trying to find a spot. Then we walked inside and stood in line for about 5-7 minutes because it was so busy. I proceeded to tell the girl my name for our reservation. I apologized for being a few minutes late because of parking. She said sorry our policy is after ten minutes we can’t take your reservation. I explained the parking lot situation and I was in the building before the ten minutes was up. She still said she could not honor our reservation. I also heard her tell a couple in front of us reservations were running behind so they actually could have still honored it. I then asked for a manger and a girl behind the receptionist said we will just take your name but no guarantees when you will get seated very rudely to us. I understand it was a busy holiday but no need to be rude to customers. My wife and I left and found a place that seated us within ten minutes. I’m very surprised we were treated this way as we have eaten here before and had a good experience. But that’s fine they don’t need my money anymore I’ll take it somewhere else.

photo a year ago This place is pathetic. They ruined everyone’s Valentine’s Day because of management’s greed. They severely overbooked their tiny restaurant and had at least 100 people waiting on their reservations while everyone starred at people eat. What’s worse? The manager then goes on to blame the guests for taking their time while eating when THEY are the ones that clearly overbooked. My girlfriend and I patiently waited an hour before we just gave up. Us and literally dozens of other disappointed couples. All to maximize managements profits. Thanks a lot. If you’re reading this I strongly suggest you chose another steakhouse zero surface

K
Kahil

It was way too expensive for what you get. You get to essentially sample some meat and a salad bar...for $56. We had a small group (6 people) for a birthday and there was a 20% "service charge" (for what?), then they ask for a tip on top of that. Furthermore...they charge all that per person regardless if you eat or not. Starting to understand why it was practically empty.
