We had a lovely lunch here in October 2025. Food, wine and service was outstanding. We are so glad we stopped here, while traveling between Evora and Lisbon.

Das Ambiente und der Service waren nicht zu beanstanden. Das Essen jedoch war mehr als enttäuschend. Die Preise und das Ambiente suggerieren gehobene Küche, aber das Essen erfüllt noch nicht einmal die Anforderungen an "gute Hausmannskost". Kaum gewürzt, mehr Masse (Sattmacher) als Klasse. Wirklich schade! Es hätte aufgrund der Umgebung wirklich Potential.

Very beautiful setting and courteous staff. However the food was very very sub-par for local standards and far more expensive than the same (better quality) dish at a local restaurant in the area. Feels like a tourist trap. Wine on sale at 7x retail price for example.

L’établissement est superbe. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec une vue magnifique. Les petits déjeuners sont corrects Le manque de personnel est regrettable. Aucun accueil ni au restaurant ni au petit déjeuner!!! Le restaurant a par contre été une calamité. On est arrivé à l’heure de la réservation. Personne pour nous accueillir… On a commandé Ce n’est pa l’entrée que nous avions commandé mais comme c’était bon on a rien dit… On avait commandé du vin blanc on nous amène du vin rouge… pour le plat ce n’est pas conforme au descriptif du menu. Mon épouse devait avoir des asperges elle a eu du chou et elle déteste ça. On en parle à la serveuse qui nous fait part que le chef maintient que ce sont des asperges. Pour ma part j’ai eu des épinards ce n’était pas dans le menu et je déteste ça. Pour terminer on commande 2 desserts et on nous en apporte qu’un seul…on repart dans que personne nous remercie nous souhaite une bonne soirée. Facture pour nous 2 :123€!!!!!!! Une honte
