Great wine bar with friendly staff! They have a very nice selection of local wines and a few beers on tap from Naughty Oak next door. The building is nice and is a great place to come enjoy a glass or come during an event on the weekend. Also carries Black Rifle Coffee which I love!
Between the marvelous garden/waterfeature outside, the very pleasant & warm tasting room, the plethora of fine local wines, beer, cider, & even Kombucha from next, as well as, the knowledgable friendly owner, this place is a must. Since I stopped by at random, even though they were "closed", I was still given tons of info by the wonderful owner, & I even grabbed a nice Pinot. He also emphasized how they tried to treat & provide local creations with top priority. I saw numerous examples of many of my local favorites and we chatted about the local moist microclimates that I tend to enjoy. They had a wide range of selections from all over this region, as well as, literally right next door from Naughty Oak [which was completely closed on a Tuesday...so we went to Blast 825 instead], and the next door Kombucha place. He also spoke highly of the weekends when they had various local smaller vineyards as guests in the next room. Orcutt was named after a fellow who worked for the oil industry and was instrumental in discovering the many fossils from CA tar pits. Quite a few people have a Swiss-Italian heritage here and as with some other small towns, it seemed that we knew some of the same people. A railroad used to stop here and that is another part of history. Overall, this town is generally far more pleasant than much of Santa Maria. On the other hand, it is rather getting popular with the tourist millennial crowd. In any case, we felt rather safe & comfortable in Orcutt, as opposed to some areas in Santa Maria, where gangs are active, & where some areas seem kind of Ghetto, like where I grew up in NYC, or later lived in Modesto...or even Hawaii. Even though we are locals in Pismo & somehow missed the Old Town area of town, the small Old Town area of Orcutt proved to be a great find....and more interesting than some other parts. Since it is an unincorporated area, the addresses may say Santa Maria or Orcutt, but you are definitely in Orcutt. It is a bit similar in some respects to Shell Beach or Baywood residents who dislike being grouped in either Pismo Beach or Los Osos. We stopped in on their cute small Farmers Market which is a bit outside of Old Town in front of the CVS also on W. Clark Ave. I chatted it up with some bakers & one 70ish old Farmer who has been at this since I think 1978 or so! After that we then checked out Old Town Market [built circa 1906?], were they had good knowledge about some rare unique super-hard to find stellar local spirits distilled in either Grover Beach or in Atascadero. We then randomly drove around and found a cute furniture shop whose owner, also owned the vintage building which houses a cool antique shop just around the corner. It is an interesting little town & this tasting place is a fine Mecca of local drinks. This area has a nice mix of both the past & the present, while still managing to preserve a generally welcoming feel. Somehow we spent about 1/2 day looking around even with many places closed. I found out much later via the internet that we just missed a nice hiking area just a few blocks away. Next time, we may do hiking and then tasting & dining.
Very pleasant people, I had beer which was good. Unsure why Royalty Rose left a single star. If you are going to give that rating at least tell us why. I will be returning when this Covid19 thing is over.
very knowledgeable, tell the owners what you are partial to as far as flavor, and they will recommend. charming environment and they have local music from time to time. Great place to enjoy the charm of the old orcutt area!
Great wine and beer, awesome atmosphere and location! Allows outside food! Fun and great addition to the neighborhood!
This place is awesome. The customer service is above and beyond, and the vibe is so good.
A favorite hang-out in a highly desirable, charming location! My husband and I love to come here and relax. They always have the most amazing local wines, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and often have wine makers pouring in the back room. We love that Wine & Brew supports local musicians; the owners are a great couple and always make us feel at home.
What an amazing wine bar! The owner and staff are always so friendly. The best part is their love for our Military Heroes. They donate and sponsor local Military nonprofits! As someone with many years in the wine industry, I highly recommend this place. The wine selection is great, and entertainment is always amazing. This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine.
We came here for a fundraiser. Wine was great. The atmosphere was wonderful. Thank you, OTWB, for sponsoring such a great fundraiser for the Cancer Hospital of Santa Maria. You guys will definitely be the place I come to grab a glass of wine.
A super cute local spot! Everyone is so friendly here and it feels like a real community. It's so nice that they do live music too!
I moved her about a year ago and never had wine before. An Airman took me to this wine bar and fell in love with the small town feel. The wines were AMAZING! I also learned that the owner is a Veteran. He sells Black Rifle Coffee stuff which is amazing. I have gone almost a dozen times now. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax with a glass or bottle of wine with those they love!
If you in Orcutt, go here! Talk to Kurt, he knows wine and whats going on in the neighborhood. Very generous. I am still coming here, such a great place to be. We are getting pizza delivered from a pizza guy set up around the corner. Wine is always fabulous and the people are always friendly. Stop by for a glass and socialize with everyone.
This is a Veteran owned business that does so much for our local community! The owner is always there, talking and laughing with customers. The wines he provides is local and always great. This is a great spot to bring family and friends and enjoy a glass or wine. I highly recommend this place.
This is a frequent Orcutt stop! Excellent owners and staff! Karaoke night is always a blast and they have great events throughout the year. The patio has great fire pit tables. You can enjoy food from the local food trucks and have a glass of wine or beer while you enjoy the crowd!

Loved the relaxed and comfortable environment! Service was great! Loved the selection of wine....we enjoyed the Ohana wine! Our friends enjoyed the beer on tap too!
Wow... Blown away by hospitality. Kurt the owner has lived here since the 80's and knows and appreciates the community. All local wines! We had a flight of the Reds. He has 3 flight options and a huge menu of local wines. Very cozy atmosphere and a great meeting place for wine and friends... which is what Vino et Amicis means!

Visited recently with my son. Really disappointed to see folks trying to make money off other folks' politics. Over the top, attention-grabbing military support by business owners has never appealed to me. And selling merchandise for a profit, even less so. I come from a military family, and served myself.
I came and sat down at the bar the bartender didn't mention the fact I was sitting in the seat of the person who is singing which maybe they didn't notice no harm no foul on their part when the bartender took my order I asked for her recommendation she told me that her favorite was the pink drink but the vodka mule was a very popular item I don't like ginger and so I told her that's okay I'll just go with your first recommendation she brings me out a drink $12.93 so I rounded it out to $15 bill. I a little bit later order to drink from the other bartender recommendation she said okay no problem brought me out a drink that did not taste like the first one nor was it the same price... When I asked what the drink was because it did not taste like the first one she brings the other bartender out and they both tell me that I was drinking the vodka mule. The first one did not taste like ginger the second one did and I brought at the fact that the first drink was almost $13 in the second drink was only $9.50 did two bartenders pulled each other in spoke under a whisper and personally I find that so as if arguing in front of with me over what I was drinking so did bartenders come back with this story of how the first bartender forgot that the drinks were supposed to be on special and overcharged me I explained to the girl that I left a $15 total for the 1293 bill and she looks at me and tells me that I don't have to tip on this one again very rude in my opinion so I get up and I moved to a different part of the bar and I decide I'm going to go have a cigarette because I kept replaying the entire situation the self entitled attitudes along with the lack of any form of good customer service so I stepped outside my drink was sitting on the bar with one of those teeth sitting on top of it now to my knowledge any bartender knows that that is a sign that the customer is still within the vicinity somewhere I smoke I needed a lighter i even asked the bartender for a lighter. They did not have one I had about six or seven songs before it's my turn to sing again so I cross the street went to the store got a lighter came back smoked my cigarette and went inside my drink has been picked up the bartender who picked it up was the taller one the one who charged me or correction overcharged me so I ended up getting overcharged $3 and change I was told that I didn't have to tip on the second drink and the second drink was picked up when it was still 3/4 of the way full she did not offer to remake my drink or give me my money back or a gift card or voucher or whatever they before your business ends up paying for itdo there for a free drink to make up for the one that I had paid for tipped for and literally took like two sips of it and she decides that she's going to throw it away this is not a way to get a return customer I was so happy to hear there was somewhere to do karaoke customer service can either make or break hopefully this bartender again it was the tall one not the short one figures out how to provide customer service before it royally screws up your business... A firm believer I'm giving everyone a second chance... But I'm also a firm believer in what right is right and what's wrong is wrong...so I guess it depends on if this bar is going to make this last visit right... Cuz I have to say that we're being a first-time customer I think anybody would agree with me that this was a bad first...
