Mr. Purple is such a vibe. The views are incredible, the drinks are beautifully made, and the whole atmosphere feels like the perfect mix of stylish and chill. it just feels special without being stuffy. Huge shoutout to our server, Courtnee, who made the experience even better. She was attentive and genuinely fun — the kind of service that turns a great night into a memorable one. She had perfect recommendations and checked in just the right amount.

I was first introduced to Mr Purple by a friend visiting from LA but I didn’t accept the offer. I immediately regretted it when he sent photos of the view and shared his experience. Since then, I wanted to visit but didn’t want to go there alone.. Then my friends and I heard about the matinee disco party and we finally planned a night out there. Would you believe I ended up there alone because my friends went to another spot? I decided I was not leaving because the staff were very nice to me especially Ricky!!!!, and the drinks were amazing! They all ended up coming to Mr Purple that night… after they realized I was having more fun… and we’ve been there a second time since. If you ever feel like having a night out with friends.. or by yourself in a place where you are safe and welcomed with great service ..I highly recommend Mr Purple!! Ask for Ricky! She makes the best cocktails especially French 75!!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Mr. Purple in New York. The rooftop views were unlike anything else, truly breathtaking. I also want to give a hugh shoutout to our wonderful server Courtnee. Thank you, Courtnee, for making our first visit so special and for recommending The Formula for our meal. The steak was cooked to perfection and literally melted in my mouth. Incredible food, outstanding service, and all delivered with a warm, genuine smile. came in today for a drink with a girlfriend and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Wasn’t too busy or loud around 6pm. Drinks were good, and the views from the rooftop are beautiful! We enjoyed a special where you get a steak, fries and martini for $35 that our server Alma recommended and it was great. Will come again

I had the absolute best experience at Mr. Purple the other night! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was perfect. What really made my night, though, was the incredible service. My server, Elma, was beyond amazing. She knew the menu inside out and gave spot-on recommendations for drinks. Between the great vibes, top-tier drinks, and exceptional service, it will become my new go-to spot. If you go (and you should!), definitely ask for Elma, you’ll be in great hands!

I have to first start off with I was afraid when I asked for chicken Alfredo, then was told they don't serve chicken Alfredo. I was offered Cacio e Pepe, but with fettuccine and I was amazed! The flavor was so good! I have a new favorite go to! The sound level was above average just because of the close quarters but I was still able to have a conversation with my friends without an issue, just a raised voice. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone that is craving some pasta or some other Italian food as the food is a blast of flavor!

I had such a great experience thanks to our server, Isabella. From the moment we were seated, she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome. She knew the menu well, gave great recommendations, and checked in at just the right times without being intrusive. Our drinks were always full and the timing of everything was perfect. You can tell she really cares about her guests and takes pride in her work. Definitely one of the best service experiences I’ve had here — I’ll be coming back and hope to be seated with her again!

Delicious and inviting! The dining room felt like having dinner with good friends. Popped up on Trip Advisor and when I asked the hotel staff they couldn’t say enough good things telling me that’s where we eat! I was skeptical given it was directly across the street. Our kind front desk concierge notified Taverna we were dining later. The proprietor greeted us at the door, engaged our party either story telling and made us feel at home. He curated our menu, and we couldn’t have been happier. Order anything he recommends or puts on the menu one night only. For us it was the lamb shank - fell off the bone tender and so flavorful. This establishment was a highlight of the trip!

I went to the city to see a show (I'm from out of city) and I went here with my Aunt and Uncle. I ordered a Coca-Cola and they gave me a bottle of Mexican Coca-Cola (The expensive kind with the real cane sugar from Mexico). For starter, I got Calimari (I usually get that at Italian restaurants because I don't know what else to get.) The food came out hot and ready (accidentaly burned my tounge tho, but it was hot so honestly a skill issue on my part) I asked for them to substitute the the tartar sauce for marinara. The marinara sause was a bit more orangish, but really delicious. For the main, I got the Bistecca (Medium because I like my steaks juicy) which is a N.Y. strip steak. I got it with roasted potatos, I didn't eat any of the potatos, but my aunt says they were delicious. For dessert I had a Tiramisu, and tried the Oreo CheeseCake (despite me never trying cheesecake.) The tiramisu was great! Everything was perfect, the service was excellent. Everything was excellent. 5/5 stars

Wow! I cannot express how phenomenal everything was here. We were seated quickly in the beautifully lit, clean, intimate setting with a very friendly waitress. The food was next level, carbonara that is on par with Italy and slightly spicy spaghetti with the best meatballs I have EVER had (fantastic blend of pork and beef) that melt in your mouth. During our meal, chef Crescenzo himself came to every table to greet us and ask how our meal was. He was so kind and genuine, clearly passionate about food. Then on to dessert, I’m not a huge fan of chocolate but we shared his chopped winning chocolate mousse…wow, just wow. I would come back here a thousand times, HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. It felt like we were family the customer service is incredible. The food was absolutely amazing. The dessert was absolutely mind blowing!!! The wine selection was amazing. It was so authentic yet every dish had a little something that made it so unique. It’s a place i will never forget. The ambiance is also amazing the little outdoor garden seating area is so cute and romantic. I’d recommend reservations, but depending on the time you might find a table.

🧄 Incredible spot if you’re a garlic lover! Came here in the afternoon for a light meal of appetizers. The garlic bread and spinach side dish in particular were loaded with soft roasted garlic 🤤 The bruschette were also great and highly recommend for a sweet snack with drinks, but not if you’rehaving a whole meal after.

This is a hidden gem. Every single person working here cannot do better than what they already do. They have a certain warmth that makes them unique. Food options are limited but enough. Wine pairings are great. Ask anyone if you are not sure what goes well with your order and they'll be happy to give you a couple of tastings. Overall great food, people and ambience. When genuine people come together, it changes your experience. Not to forget, the food is very authentic tasting.

It's a big bar with dancing space on the 15th floor. I was there to dance and see the rooftop, it was some free special that night. But that night it was raining so the rooftop was closed. I just saw vague skyline through the glass walls. Overall it was nice to dance, not crowded.

Mr. Purple was a lot of fun! The rooftop view of the city was immaculate, and they had a great selection of music as well. The drinks were solid, and I enjoyed the overall vibe of Mr. Purple as a whole. Would recommend!

The food was good! But I was not a fan of the drinks. The pornstar martini was more so a passionfruit mimosa, pure prosecco! It was so bubbly rather than smooth. Any good bar serves the prosecco on the side. Our waitress and all the staff were amazing though and the view is worth the $25 drinks. Great music as well. Just really bummed by the drink.

This was our second visit to this property, both times at sunset, this time as hotel guests. The view is breathtaking, making it an ideal spot for sunset cocktails. However, regarding the food and cocktails, both are of low quality and do not meet our expectations. We had the worst Aperol Spritz we have had. Bartenders had no clue. Additionally, the bartender was arguing with a client over a card and tried to involve me in the discussion, which was very rude and inappropriate. We had one drink, enjoyed the fantastic view, and left. Many rooftop options, avoid this one.

Only good thing about this place is the bathroom attendant Ibrahim. Came in knowing it’s a club and drinks would be more expensive, but the tequila soda I paid over $20 for was extraordinarily weak. Having learned my lesson about ordering liquor from the place, I went back for a second round and asked if they had White Claw. Bartender hands me a Surfside (a little more than $11 for the can), and then PROCEEDS TO SIGN FOR ME, TIP FOR ME, AND TAKE THE HANDHELD AWAY before I can even touch it. This was an extremely quick movement, like he is very well practiced at signing and tipping for customers while they’re putting their cards away the moment they tap. I tipped 20% on my first round. I don’t know what the average tip at this business is or if a noticeable number of customers don’t tip, but frankly, that’s not my problem. You CANNOT sign and tip on a bill on a customer’s behalf. That is outrageously disrespectful, and probably illegal. Maybe he felt overwhelmed by his ~7 customers at his nightclub bar, but that does not excuse this. Truly appalling. I wonder how much money he steals from unknowing customers per month with this kind of behavior. Dude needs to be fired
