First time eating here. Very calming vibe. Food was good. The key line curd in the waffles was deeeeelicious. We really liked starting with the pastry basket, definitely worth the $10. Our server was good but could have been more attentive.

Loved dinner our first night at Vero Beach! We arrived at 8:30 and had the swordfish with broccolini and gnocchi - Divine! And my husband had the wood fired pizza!

Dinner was Fantastic !! Hands down the best overall meal at any Disney Resort !!! This is not your typical Disney inconsistent over priced blah food. Prices are unbelievably better than Orlando DVC resorts and the quality of the cuisine is second to none !!! From preparation to presentation, the care that was taken is apparent !! Kudos to the whole culinary team and chef. Grill cast member was on point . Steaks and burgers done perfectly to temperature . Will absolutely be back . Keep it up!!!

Why is this place not ON A WAIT here at 9 AM for bfast??!! The food's AMAZING. We ordered the eggs Benedict, and they were perfect in every way! The grits are crazy good! The atmosphere here is incredible, but the best part of the place (aside from the food) was our server, Muriel. She was friendly and helpful, always ready with refills and sparkling conversation, but at the same time, she gave us plenty of space. She is definitely a professional in every way :-} When staying at Disney's Vero Beach Resort (which we also highly recommend!), don't pass over this excellent dining opportunity. Seems everyone wants to come at dinner, but please don't overlook the hidden gem that is b'fast!! When you come in, ask for Muriel. Tell her Josh n Dann sent you!

We enjoyed a great evening at Wind & Waves Grill at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. The atmosphere was great. The host Guadalupe and server Jill were very welcoming. The food was delicious. Roasted Chicken, Fish and Chips, Salmon, Strip Sirloin Steak and the Pork Sirloin were great selections and large portions. A place to try if you are in the area. Tony Toronto Canada.

The excellence of Disney, at a Resort by the Beach. I can’t recommend this place enough! After a quick temperature screening, we were brought to our table by a hostess from the check-in podium. Our Server quickly came over and introduced herself and brought us some dinner rolls and corn bread to get us started. My Friend and I ordered the dinner special Chicken Tortellini Soup as our Appetizer. It was delicious! It was made with several different kinds of fresh and vibrant vegetables and had a tasty broth. We were both shocked at the portion size and quality for the price, only $10! For our Entrees, we both selected two of the specials. For me, the Butchers Cut: NY Strip Steak Fajitas, and, for her, the Wood Fire Pizza: Turkey Ranch Club. Both of us really enjoyed our food and appreciated the attention given to both the presentation and the quality of everything we were served. We will definitely return in the future!

Great specials, rest of the menu is good, but specials are great. Good selection of beer, wine and drinks. And always save room for dessert! Make reservations ahead of time when you can, always helps. All the kitchen staff and servers are phenomenal. We thought about going into town to eat but realized we didn't need to as we enjoyed all three nights at Wind and Waves so much. Don't forget your DVC discount if you are a member. Recommended.

We had a complicated order and the waitstaff was sooooooooo accommodating! The best part was when the chef came out to understand our dietary requests and needs. Each of the times we stayed here, we truly got the impression that the staff here was dedicated to us and cared about how to keep us fed and happy. I will absolutely be coming back here again. Thank you to the whole team for such a spectacular experience and helping us celebrate our special birthday weekend.

Wind & Waves Grill at Disney's Vero Beach Resort is a wonderful casual table service restaurant. The menu is very varied, something for everyone! Food was delicious and expertly prepared in their open kitchen. Service was top-notch Disney style! The atmosphere was relaxed and casual. Reservations highly recommended, as seating is limited.

I was in Vero on a business trip when a friend recommended the resort restaurant. I forgot there was a Disney resort in Vero! I came in for a late dinner. The service was great, as was everything I ordered. I had the Apple Bibb salad and the shrimp and grits. The salad was fresh and delicious, and the shrimp and grits looked as good as it tasted. I told the server that was probably the best shrimp and grits I have ever had. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Vero. I hear their brunch is amazing!

Excellent service and excellent food! Highly recommend if in the area or staying at Disney's Vero Beach Resort! The fish of the day was swordfish and it was perfectly cooked and I got the shrimp which were just as good as the fish! The crab on top was delightful and fresh. I wouldn't normally eat seafood my first time at a restaurant but I felt daring, I'm glad I was.

Celebrated our 59 th Anniversary at the resort. First up to Green Cabin for Cocktails & then down to wind & Waves for a wonderful dinner. Our server Amy was a delight, the food was delicious & even gave us buttons & a beautiful dessert. Can’t beat Disney Vero for a fun day. We ve spent many times at Disneys parks & they all are Fabulous & do welcome you home

This is straight up a higher end Disney restaurant with all the amenities and service you expect. We were here during Covid-19 and they are taking it seriously. All the staff wear masks and they are doing enhanced cleaning. We were here for my oldest child's birthday and I had to make the reservation through the Open Table app. I am happy to say that I have already been using it which made it easier. Because of the limited seating you definitely want to make a reservation in advance to insure a place. Things are a lot different than they used to be around here and it was our first visit since the remodel a few years ago. The restaurant has a more seafood orientated theme now but there are still a few things I can have off the menu. We were greeted by cheerful cast members a the front and seated immediately. Our server was very friendly and informed us that we did not have to wear our masks at the table. I told here we would wear them when any member of staff was around for everyone's safety. She thanked us for that courtesy. She was very friendly and appropriately attentive throughout our meal. A chef was brought to our table to address my allergies and other digestive issues. As usual they were very friendly and helpful. They helped put together a meal that I could safely eat and enjoy. My oldest whose birthday it was got the pan-roasted chicken with sweet potato risotto, haricot vert, balsamic-blueberry chicken jus and cornbread crumble. To my surprise they ate it all in one sitting. My youngest got the grilled salmon with cornbread panzanella, beets, grilled fennel, mushroom and thyme-cranberry vinaigrette. I am not much of a fish fan and I liked it. I ended up with a filet, butterflied with a house made steak sauce, green beans and mashed potatoes. Everything was perfectly prepared with wonderful flavors. After dinner they brought my oldest a birthday cupcake and my youngest got the Signature Turtle Sundae with dulce de leche ice cream, toasted pecan-chocolate bark, waffle cone bits and 2 solid chocolate turtles. i love vacationing at better resorts like Disney's as I always get great service and I can count on the food being top notch. You pay more for the better restaurants but in the end it is worth the price.

Great food option at Vero beach. Options for food are severely lacking in the area and this is a solid choice. We had the shrimp and grits and the salmon and they were both great. Shared a turtle sundae for dessert and it was also very good. Expect to spend $20-35 per person for mains and about $10 for appetizers or desserts.

5 stars in all areas for breakfast! Portions are large and very tasty. Beautiful restaurant with great service. Recommend the s'mores frech toast!

As you would expect at a Disney property, the service was phenomenal. The meal was also spectacular! Perfectly made with flavors that combine to be even better. We couldn't have asked for a better or more relaxing meal.

Retired Starwood Chef of 18 years and Florida resident for 24 years. Been to every Disney restaurant in Orlando several times. This restaurant is by far the best restaurant we’ve eaten in. The flagship of Disney. Short and sweet, every ingredient in every meal is done perfectly No shortcuts from the bread service to the desert Everything seasoned perfectly, sauces reduced to perfection, meat seafood and vegetables amazing Service is amazing I take my hat off to Chef Doug and his amazing crew for taking the time to be perfect We were the last table and the true mark of a great restaurant is when the last meal is as great as the first meal. Hat’s off!! John Cassidy EDIT 9/16/20 Back for a visit to this beautiful resort and if course to dine in Disney’s Flagship Restaurant Had the pleasure of meeting Chef Enrique and he has his tight, well trained amazing staff running a tight operation. Attention to detail is evident with everything from bread service to desert Manhattan Conch chowder was magnificent Crab cakes outstanding Wedge salad too goof and fresh for words Braised short rib was stunning Corvina catch if the day was sweet and tender and hollandaise was smooth as silk Deserts cecadent and delicious We will make another four hour round trip next week to once again enjoy a fabulous meal here. Bravo Chef

This little hidden gem is fantastic. Food was served hot and beautifully plated. Just the right amount of seasoning on everything, also. Our server, Kate, was so accommodating. She took care of us so well, and our 9 year old was even happy.

Fantastic quality food at a reasonable price. The items at the restaurant range from ~ $12 to upper $40s. The flat breads are a great low price value item that has a nice taste. The swordfish was well prepared and presented with care. The desserts are fantastic too.

2024 Daily specials are good. Mahi mahi over couscous and beet gnocchi. 2023 Excellent fish options. Had the Oscar grilled swordfish which was delicate and not drowned in sauce. Grilled Broccolini. Maha Mahi potato crusted was wonderful also, and nice flour less chocolate cake. 5 stars up from 4 in 2021. 2021 Seafood specials are very good. We had the tile fish with balsamic sauce and quinoa and zucchini stuffed squash. Rolls and butter service was tasty with 3 types of salted butter. Market next door has nice items too.

I had the Key Lime stuffed Mickey Waffles with bacon and an additional side of grits with cheese- it was one of the best breakfasts that I have ever had! Everything was perfectly cooked and the service was fantastic! Highly recommend!!

We've been here many times on our trips to Disney's Vero Beach Resort. Restaurant very rarely let's you down. I love their open kitchen and Disney is great at accommodating food allergies. Steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and my dessert was fantastic. Corkage fee is $25 as of this writing. I recommend it to anyone who visits the resort.

Lots of options for a quick to go meal or snack. Staff was super friendly. Love that the magic of Disney extends to the other resorts. They even have treats from Disney!

Really enjoyable breakfast. Had the key lime waffles which were actually really good. More tart than sweet which I liked. Located right off the main lobby headed towards the pool.

Breakfast burrito is outstanding. Fun vibe and cast members are always very kind and friendly. This is one of our favorite breakfast spots in Vero.

Went for the character breakfast with my 2.5 year old son. We had a great time. The food was tasty, pricing not bad for the experience, and the staff were kind and attentive. They made sure my son had a chance to meet both Pluto and Goofy before we left.

Wind & Waves Grill is open for breakfast contrary to the hours posted here on Google Maps. Try the specials they vary quite often. Had the Cordon Bleu skillet with Dijon hollandaise, amazing. Each flavor complimented the others. My son hade the key lime waffles. He never finishes his plate. It was spotless! 😉 Use OpenTable to make table reservations. The vibe is very laid back. Have a drink and enjoy the sound of waves crashing on shore.

Food was excellent! Good size portion for the prices we felt. Service was excellent, server was attentive and quick - very pleasant! Excited to go back again - still thinking about the food we got from the other night!

Their burger is the star of the menu. I don't eat meat and when it's served I want one. They do offer a vegan option each night and that is why I love Wind & Waves. The have consistently great food, good service and the warm Welcome home Disney greeting as you first enter the property washes away the day.

Wind & Waves Grill is the main dining venue at Disney’s Vero Beach resort and serves both breakfast and lunch. Since this is the main place to eat at the resort, I highly recommend that you make reservations via Open Table. We made reservations for both dinner and breakfast. The menu isn’t large, but it has a decent selection. There are daily specials that usually include a pizza of the day, a steak, a seafood dish and a plant based dish. There are also daily breakfast specials. We ate both dinner and breakfast here several times during our weekend stay. For dinner, a few things we tried were the wood fired pizzas, which weren’t bad, the Oak Grilled Filet Mignon, this steak wasn’t bad, we still think the best Filet we have had is the Black Pepper Filet on the Disney Wish, the fish and chips, which we also thought were OK. They were made from Mahi, and while Mahi is a good fish, the ideal fish to us for fish and chips is cod or haddock. Our two favorite dinner items were the Vero Beach burger (which was huge), and the Bibb Lettuce Apple salad. Dinner included house made Hawaiian rolls and cornbread. We enjoyed the breakfast at the Wind & Waves Grill much more. My favorite item was the Biscuit Duo. This was 2 biscuit sandwiches with your choice of side. My wife tried the strawberry and banana french toast, which was the special of the day, as well as the “make your own omelette”. We never got to try it, but the stuffed key lime Mickey Waffles looked amazing. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Prices were as expected for a Disney resort. The filet was around $39 for example. Breakfast was actually much cheaper than I expected. Overall this venue is a nice restaurant. For quick service, you can go around the corner to the Wind & Waves Market for sandwiches, nachos, dole whip, churros and more.

Spicy Bloody Mary is great! Good taste and just enough spice. Mickey waffles were a hit with the kids! I wasn’t super impressed with the loco moco. The rice was over cooked and soggy. Overall we will come back. Hope the characters will be back appearing soon!

Just Ok. This resort needs more restaurants and/or more food options . Our waitress was wonderful.

Had a great breakfast at the Wind &Waves Grill. The staff, as usual were fantastic. The food came out fast and was delicious.

Very nice place to eat at a Disney resort, and the service was great. The food is good, but not as good as some of the restaurants that Disney has at MK. Overall, a good experience for dinner.

M

Very good breakfast and dinner. Disney always has great service and food. Some places better than others but Wind & Waves did not dissapoint.

J

This is a nice little restaurant with great food and service! The menu is fairly limited, so not the selection we found at other restaurants in the area. However, they have daily specials and the food was good and the presentation was also excellent! One thing I want to note.... This restaurant is inside the resort. So, if you are coming from another area to dine, the restaurant is NOT well marked. You have to enter in the main lobby doors of the resort and wind through to get to the restaurant. Additionally, there is a guard house at the entrance to the resort, and they will ask you to park across the street and walk over.

R
Randall Olson

The host couldnt make up his mind where to seat us and mumbled to himself. Just make a decision please. Was told to come here because the chef comes to the tables to discuss any orders. I have celiac (gluten free). That didnt happen. Asked waiter if something was gluten free. He came back and said no....but didnt offer any alternatives. Didnt think ahead. Pork chop was good though....especially the bacon jam. Asked what kind of gf bread they served me since it wasnt bad...he forgot to find out. Needs more attention to detail

While the service and the atmosphere was great, the two dishes we tried were only OK. The roasted chicken was a pressed portion served with two “corn cakes” (fried polenta) served on a bed of wilted greens and creamy balsamic onions. It was delicious but could have done without the onions. The burger on the other hand came with everything loaded on it including barbecued pork belly, cole slaw and an onion ring. The pork belly had too much of a sweet - smoky flavor and did not go with the burger. On top of that it was hard and overdone (shown in picture.) We had to remove it to be able to enjoy the otherwise delicious burger. I would still recommend the restaurant and would try it again.

4 of us had dinner tonight. 2 had filet. It was very tough. One had pork tenderloin it was also very tough. One had chicken. It was just ok. No plans to ever go back.

S
SharmaX

By far the worst experience of the year. Service was good as always but food is below any standard you can think of. Salmon was nothing but bones and ribeye was just fat and a waste of time. Quality has been going down for a few months but this is the end, no returning from this time. Keep cutting corners to boost profit. Bye mickey!

m
mark leach

Great service. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Your steaks are pathetic. The strip is a thin cut with lots of fat and grizzly. It should be at least 1 inch thick and about 2 inches wide by 5 inches long. I was there last night knowing not to Oder the strip steak so ordered the filet mignon instead. Not very good. I kind of doubt it was a certified filet. Probably a sirloin.

Worst EXP ever. 90th Bday of our matriarch and we chose to spend it here. We could not sit until all of our guests arrived and we had to sit apart from our party since they could not put us al together even w reservations made weeks prior. Waitress never asked if we wanted refills and food was horrible and inedible . She was never seen throughout the meal and when it came time to pay she took all and never asked if we wanted change we had to find her for our change. The patrons made our night special they all sang happy Birthday and told her how beautiful she was. NOT THE STAFF.

b
brad kenn

Worst Disney resort restaurant we’ve ever been to. All the food was borderline inedible. The French onion soup was flavorless. The rolls were limp, bland, and lifeless. The pizza was drenched in grease and floppy. We wanted to really enjoy it, but we’ll never be back. The service was the only bright spot. Overall a massive disappointment when compared to other DVC resort restaurants.

A
Anthony M

Went there once, food was raw. Gave it another chance a year later, and once again food was raw. They got to hire better chefs lol. Wouldn’t recommend, if you’re paying for expensive food it better not be raw.

K
Kylie Brenneis

All the food was very mediocre. Fish and chips soggy, steak tough, shrimp & grits drowned in sauce, nachos sparsely topped, burger dry.
