Non sono solita fare recensioni, ma ne valeva sicuramente la pena per la cordialità del personale. Ho cenato con il mio fidanzato e abbiamo entrambi amato sia primi che secondi e sicuramente la gentilezza e spontaneità soprattutto dei titolari. Un angolo di serenità a due passi da San Pietro. Carla e Roberto ti fanno sentire a casa, sembra di mangiare nella sala da pranzo di casa tua. Ottimi primi e succulenti secondi. Cantina ben fornita e sublimi dolci fatti da Carla. In cucina una brigata di giovani ragazzi gentili e disponibili sotto l’occhio vigile dell’austero Roberto. Un posto da consigliare per una cena all’altezza delle attese.

Superb neighbourhood italian restaurant owned and operated by Roberto and Carla since it's early days. Serving locals for over 20 years, the menu includes an array of items with a Tuscan flare. Our custom sharing meal for 4 started with a pasta covered in rich cheese white sauce, capellacci stuffed with prawns and fried artichoke. Our main was a grilled Florentine t-bone large enough for sharing. All paired well with a glass of red wine. To finish, Carla's millefueille cream and fruits. Where do I begin? My wife and I had the absolute best meal & dining experience at Roberto's & Carlotta's Ristorante, La Picccola Toscana. It is one of those places that is perfect from the moment you step in the door, until the moment you leave. The atmosphere was warm, romantic and inviting. Both Roberto & Carlotta made you feel like you were at home and part of their family. From start to finish, each course was true perfection. The pear, almond, cheese starter was so delicate. Both the beef with potato course and fettuccine tartufo were cooked to perfection . The tiramisu was the best we ever had. Both my husband and I have dined at many fine restaurants in Rome, Florence, Milan and throughout Italy. But we both felt this dinner was the best we ever encountered from start to finish, hands down. Gracie Mille to Carlotta & Roberto for making our night in Rome one to remember. Had dinner with friends after visiting Vatican city. Was a bit far from the station (around 10minutes) but the food was so worth it! The capalletti stuffed with prawns has rich flavours with lemon sauce. T-bone steak was good too! Must try the millefeuille. The staff were super friendly!

This was hands down our best restaurant experience during the few days we stayed in Rom. Everything was just right. The owner was super friendly and happy, like something you would expect from a typical Italian restaurant from the movies. And then there is the food, which of course was the highlight. We even had some dessert recommendations, which were great as well. So for anyone visiting Rom, don't miss out on Piccola Toscana!

We were welcomed to this wonderful spot by the owner Roberto last Saturday. My wife and four other friends/family were treated to an absolutely wonderful & decadent experience. The service, the atmosphere and the food was absolutely over the top amazing!! I wouldn’t know where to start or stop in describing each wonderful bite that our entire group enjoyed!! And the wine, we were steered in the proper direction to cap off an amazing visit! Thank you Roberto & Carla , you spoiled us Canadians completely!! Grazie, and as a rule I’d say , always listen to your barbers recommendations!! Ciao!

Walked into this restaurant, nice atmosphere, white linen table cloth, really nice staff and great service , excellent lobster linguine , pasta with truffle was delicious , ham and fennel, olives, orange salad was a great start. Ordered also the slow cooked pork rib, .. a bit oily , would have been good if served with lemon ! Overall a great dinner Dessert was divine .. 110euro excluding wine

Outstanding experience of original Italian cuisine! The place is for locals mostly what is making it very specific and remarkable. The service was great, pastas were delicious. Nice choice of wines. Highly recommended to visit. Prices slightly higher then in simple bistros

Great food and amazing service. Highly recommend the deep fried anchovies and they are super simple yet extremly flavorful. The lasta dishes were very decent as well. For dessert,they had one of the best tiramisu i have tried. Service was extremly helpful and warm.

Ristorante di quartiere in zona prati. Molto valido il servizio con consigli su abbinamenti e vino. Uovo al tartufo e fettuccine al tartufo ottime, accompagnate da un buon vino. Prezzi leggermente alti, ma la qualità non dei piatti scelti è stata buona. Consigliato.

Anche i primi piatti che abbiamo mangiato non erano degni di nota in quanto necessitavano di una spinta di sapore. Buono il gelato di gelso con frutti di bosco. Peccato che tanta buona volontà della signora non riesca a far sollevare una cucina che rimane anonima anche perché i prezzi sono un po alti.

We were celebrating our parents 60th wedding anniversary with a family group of 13 from London and were excited to eat here having seen the good reviews. Unfortunately, we had a really poor experience. The starters arrived 30 minutes apart and some never actually appeared. We were also offered a bland tapenade while we waited. The main courses didn’t arrive as ordered, and the sides arrived 15 minutes after the mains. The service was terrible. It really was so average. Good help with wine choices didn’t compensate for a really poor dining experience. We would not come back.
