I found this restaurant accidently, it was not visible on Google Maps. This place very special, food and service are wonderful. But there is a bit more than that. The interior is amazing, it's like a tiny museum with unique collection of the antique artefacts that will attract you and steal your attention and lead you through the centuries of different culture history while you are waiting for a food. Enjoy!

Ein Juwel! Unglaublich gute Küche! Es gibt eine Tageskarte, die oft wechselt. Der Besitzer kommt aus Island, alle Mitarbeitenden sprechen super englisch, die Grundstimmung ist gechillt, innovativ, cozy, modern. Ich kann es am besten mit Amsterdam oder Kopenhagen vergleichen, aber halt in dem kleinen, eher unscheinbaren Dörfchen Alcalá, direkt am Dorfplatz gelegen. Sweet & unique :) Und ein ganz besonderer Geheimtipp!

Pure joy to eat here! Service is super friendly, quick and professional! Food is great. We took the Chicken-Roll with Truffel-Pasta: Chicken perfectly done, not dry, not too juicy. Pasta was made on point, simmered in the sauce. The Filet Mignon was great too: Beef was precisely medium, as ordered, vegtables on the side not overcooked. Both dishes have been seasoned perfectly, what we unfortunatly cannot tell from the hospitality arround here on the island. They defnetly know what they are doing here! Pure joy of Craftmenship! Btw try the heavenly homemade Sangria!!! It is a hidden gem!

I came here with friends for a late lunch Mediterranean style! The restaurant was so busy that the polite waiter asked us to have a seat and gave us a realistic expectation of waiting time. Eventually we ordered our food and glad we displayed patience. For the food was among some of the best we had in the whole of Tenerife. From tuna, to squids, chicken & steak we ordered the entire gamut including the 3 specials of the day. We came out as victors in the end; our stomachs thanking us for the forbearance and ignoring the rumbling. After our food the waiter returned and thanked us for our time and gratefully offered us free desserts which were scrumptious. This was the best staff experience and we all enjoyed the innovative menu. Order anything here, literally you can't go wrong. Just go.

Fabuloso! Great find and a must visit. Excellent cocktails, brilliant starters (try the tuna tataki), super mains. Big portions so you might want to ask and consider sharing some of the plates like the pasta. Waaaaaay better service and food than the 5 star hotel nearby 😅.

Me and my friends stopped randomly in Alcalá and found this place, got a table without a reservation even at 7pm, food was delicious, loveliest people and atmosphere and we would add a sixth star just for the playlist! One of the best place to have a fine dinning. Well atended, the waiters were always paying attention to the customer needs. Food: wonderful taste, the menu is special and some meals are exclusive to this place. Easy to find parking around. Prices are well levelled with the quality of the attention and the food.

Leuke plek om te eten. Als starter namen we garnaalkroketten, een groene salade en tataki van tonijn. Dit alles was verrukkelijk. Nog nooit zo’n lekkere salade gegeten. Als hoofdgerechten namen we een vegan curry, de kabeljauw en plumeau iberico. Ook dit was zeer lekker. Afsluiten deden we met een super lekkere lavacake. De uitbaters zijn heel sympathiek en hechten belang aan de mening van hun klanten.

Ich war während meines Aufenthalts in Alcalá mehrmals zum Abendessen dort und es war jedesmal vorzüglich. Der Service war super freundlich, schnell und professionell. Das Restaurant selbst ist sehr liebevoll dekoriert und liegt wunderschön am Dorfplatz und das Essen war jedesmal verdammt lecker und herzlich angerichtet. Ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen dort zu speisen und selbst in den Genuss eines tollen Abends zu kommen. Vielen Dank dem tollen Team!

Top Empfehlung für ein leckeres Steak. Der Service ist wirklich sehr gut. Sind seit drei Jahren jedes Jahr für drei Monate auf Teneriffa und haben bisher kein wirkliches Top Steak Restaurant gefunden. Das On the Rocks ist wirklich Spitze. Steaks werden wie bestellt auf den Punkt gegrillt. Empfehlung ist die Cranberry Sosse!

Grossartiges Restaurant mit vielen leckeren Gerichten. Sehr freundliches Personal und anständiges Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Spontaner Besuch bei B on the Rocks. Essen war sehr gut (Beef cheeks, Salad with Salmon, Coco Lime Tarte and Rioja). Preis war angemessen, Ambiente mit Blick auf den Marktplatz durchaus nett. Eine Empfehlung für einen Abend in spanischem Ambiente.

Vervorragendes und qualitativ sehr hochwertiges Essen (aber keine kanarische Küche!). Sehr schön angerichtet und präsentiert. Sehr netter Service und gutes Ambiente. Es ist ein eher feineres Restaurant. Man sollte etwas Zeit mitbringen. Die Preise passen zur Qualität des Essens. Da es schon etwas dunkel war, sind die Fotos leider von etwas schlechter Qualität. Das Essen war aber wirklich hervorragend.

Without doubt the best place we ate at while in Tenerife. The filet mignon and entrecôte were excellent and the service is really great. If you’re looking for a local quiet vibe away from the noise then this is it.

On last day of our holiday last week we had a great meal, it was a shame it was the last day or we would have gone back. Slow cooked beef cheeks with orzo pasta were delicious, my wife had the spinach risotto which was also great. Both dishes had lots of flavour. Highly recommended

Do 16 mają branch. Ale i dasię bardzo się najeść wszystkie produkty mega Świeżutkie. Alkoholowa Margherita i bardzo Pyszna. 😋 Bardzo ładne miejsce- sam lokal , W centrum przepięknego miasteczka.

Food and drinks were Master Chef level in presentation and taste. Choices for both vegans and carnivores that take you on a gastronomic journey of delicately balanced flavours. Staff was friendly and humorous, but also attentive and helpful. A special shout-out to the barraquito hand-crafted by the bartender. It was a shame to stir it after all the work he put into the preparation, but he said that's what one is supposed to do. Before we left we booked another night for next week.

We recently visited B on the Rocks in Alcalá, and it was a highlights of our time in Tenerife. From the moment we sat down, everything was absolutely perfect. The setting is stunning—the restaurant has a unique, elegant aesthetic with beautiful architectural details (the arched window and metalwork are gorgeous). The service was top-notch; the staff was attentive, welcoming, and made our group feel right at home. It’s the perfect spot for a long, relaxed dinner with friends. The culinary presentation and flavors were outstanding. We tried several dishes, and each one hit the mark. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, served with a delicious Sardinian pasta and Madeira sauce. The pasta dish with chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce was incredibly comforting and well-balanced. Do not skip dessert here! The Coco lemon tart was light and flavorful, and the chocolate Lava cake was the perfect sweet ending. If you are in the Alcalá area, B on the Rocks is a must-visit. Whether you are looking for high-quality meat, refined pasta, or just a beautiful place to enjoy a night out, this place delivers on all fronts.

Wir waren heute Abend da und es war fantastisch! Unfassbar freundliches Personal und super leckere Speisen. Preis total in Ordnung! Wir würden (würden wir hier wohnen) sicherlich wieder kommen. Aber sind ja nur für den Urlaub hier. Auch als deutsche Touristen haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt & es wurde ausgezeichnet englisch gesprochen. Große Empfehlung von unserer Seite. Das Lokal an sich ist klein aber gemütlich und draußen hat man auch einige Sitzplätze. Angenehme Musik und entspannte „mediterrane“ Atmosphäre.

Unfassbar gut!!! Der Rotwein ein Hochgenuss!!! Die Käseplatte hat mich völlig überzeugt. So gute Oliven habe ich noch nie in meinem Leben gegessen! Käse ist eine Wucht und die Atmosphäre umwerfend schön. Ich bin so begeistert… Und ich habe eigentlich immer was zu meckern 😉😂 Nein Spaß… ich bin wirklich sehr anspruchsvoll und weiß was Qualität ist. Hier würde ich am liebsten mehr als 5 Sterne geben. Der Cortado zum Schluss war so super. Einfach rundherum gelungen… schöne Musik war auch noch dabei🫶 danke!

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und der Service war wirklich angenehm. Ich habe mich spontan dafür entschieden und bin mehr als begeistert von der Qualität der Speisen und Getränke. Unbedingt den Sangria probieren der schmeckt etwas anders als gewohnt aber lohnt sich auf jedenfall. Die Musik spielt alte Klassiker der 70/80er was natürlich auch für meinen Geschmack voll ins Schwarze getroffen hat.

The moment we saw the restaurant we knew it was special. Exquisitely decorated with charming friendly front of house staff. The waiter at our request advised us on what to eat and drink. Scallops in truffle foam: remarkable. The atmosphere was great: staff very helpful but not intrusive. V professional. Food was just superb: beautifully presented + tasted so good. We had fillet steak + chips / sea bass with risotto: all cooked to perfection. Local wines were sensational. We are going back in 3 days. Best food we’ve eaten in Tenerife. Michelin standard. An evening we wont forget…..

There is absolutely nothing not to love about this restaurant — it’s an absolute gem. We ended up visiting on two consecutive nights and honestly wish we had discovered it much earlier in our holiday. The service is outstanding: warm, genuinely personal, and faultless. We didn’t catch the names of the three staff who looked after us, but every single one of them was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The food is simply top class — beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and consistently excellent. From start to finish, everything was perfect. We cannot recommend this idyllic restaurant highly enough and would return without hesitation.

My wife and I are spending our anniversary on Tennerife and we came across B on the rocks. Food and service were fantastic. The Iberico Pork hit the spot while my wife wanted a modification to the spinach risotto and the restaurant was overly accommodating. We will definitely he eating there again.

Wir waren schon zum 2.Mal hier. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und man kann draußen wir drin sehr schön sitzen. Die Vorspeisen sind sehr klein, z.B. das Lachstartar aber hervorragend. Toll abgeschmeckt und hübsch angerichtet. Die Hautgerichte, Couscous vegan mit frittiertem Blumenkohl beispielsweise und auch die geschmorten Bäckchen vom Rind waren wirklich wunderbar. Macht weiter so !

Guys, this place is a hidden gem. Incredible fillet mignon with the best pepper sauce. Great lamb and burger with fois gras. Great mojito and hugo on top of that and we have the receipt for a great night. PS great music!!!

Hier in de avond gegeten. Misschien waren de verwachtingen te hoog vanwege de hoge reviews, maar het is zeker geen 5 sterren waard. Ober (erg vriendelijk en attent) vergat eerst het brood en daarna ook nog de bestelde tweede fles water en bracht alleen de schijfjes lemon. Voorgerecht met tonijn tataki ziet er mooi uit maar de zoete aardappel past naar mijn idee niet bij de tonijn met wasabi. Als hoofdgerecht solomillo burger met froie gras besteld. Had iets moois kunnen zijn (een plak foie gras op een gebakken steak tartare van ossenhaas had ik gehoopt voor 26 euro), maar het was gewoon een burger met een gesmolten kaas. Foie gras zat er doorheen?, maar heb ik niet kunnen ontdekken. De burger rook ook zurig / bestorven dus niet opgegeten en teruggestuurd. Dit werd zeer netjes opgepakt door de bediening die dit gerecht van de rekening heeft gehaald en ook nog een desert van het huis heeft aangeboden. Mijn vrouw had een salade met langoustines. Die was prima al vond ik persoonlijk de langoustines veel te ver doorgebakken. Lokale wijn gedronken. 8 euro voor een glas is te duur voor een lokale wijn... Kortom geen goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Zou hier niet nog een keer heen gaan.

Strong Finish, Shaky Start. The meal began modestly — the starters were fine, nothing more — but things improved dramatically with the mains. An unusual reversal of the usual pattern, and a very welcome one. The main courses were genuinely excellent and easily the highlight of the evening. That said, it doesn’t come cheap, and the pricing sets expectations high. The staff were extremely friendly and well-intentioned, though the service felt a bit disorganised at times. In short: come for the mains, brace for the bill, and enjoy the warmth of a team that clearly cares, even if the choreography needs some tightening.

We had a good evening, food was good however I think it’s way too overpriced for what it is. Service was too slow and we also received the wrong dish that supposed to go to a different table. I had the sea bass with risotto which was nice, however from the photo on google, all the plates had 2 sea bass fillet and I only was given one. I can highly suggest the slow cooked beef cheek and the scallops, not very impressed for the langustine bisque.

Lindo lugar muy bien ambientado, la zona muy tranquila. El vino muy rico pero muy lento la comida ,que valió un poco la espera ya que le faltaba un poco de gusto a mi parecer. Lindo decorados los platos. Mi novia al otro dia estuvo con vomito y dolor de estomago por culpa de la cena

La comida en este lugar ha sido bastante buena pero los precios no han sido al mismo nivel: 28€ para un pato con una puree de papas! Y quasi 3€ cada croquetas ! Esta muy lejos de ser una estrella Michelin ! Come on ! Be more realistic with your prices. They are far from what we had in the plates.

We were really looking forward to having lunch here today. According to the opening hours, lunch is served until 4:00 pm, and we arrived at 3:45 pm. Unfortunately, we were told that the kitchen was already closed and lunch was no longer available. This was very disappointing, especially because we planned our day around those opening hours. Clearer communication or adjusted opening times would have helped a lot. It is particularly sad because we visited this place two or three times last year and everything was always perfect. That makes today’s experience even more disappointing.

Mi pareja y yo íbamos con unas expectativas bastante altas y ha sido una desilusión al completo. Pensábamos tener una velada para disfrutar y nada más lejos de la realidad, platos sin gusto ninguno, insulsos, algunos los dejamos a medias, una desilusión al completo. Sinceramente para los altos precios que tiene nos esperábamos algo increíble y para nada. Es una trampa que vende alta gastronómica y para nada es lo que ofrecen en realidad. Hay opciones cerca de otros restaurantes muchísimo mejores en todos los aspectos.

Fuimos a este restaurante por sus buenas reseñas y porque vimos algunas fotos de su comida y nos parecía bastante bueno, nada más lejos de la realidad. Las porciones de comida minúsculas, sin ningún tipo de sabor y sin ser nada del otro mundo, muy baja calidad. Ya cuando nos trajeron la cuenta nos parecieron exagerado sus precios. Hay opciones mucho mejores a su alrededor, ni volveremos ni se lo recomendaremos a nuestros amigos.

No recomiendo en absoluto este local por muy cuki que parece. Estuve con diarrea y fiebre durante dos días por comerme la dorada con risotto (seabass). Hay otras opciones de restaurantes con calidad de comida muuucho mejor que este. Si miras por tu salud no vayas!
