Amazing and delicious food. Very original and traditional place. We loved the service.
Great experience and people here! A legacy local spot to check out for nostalgic Japanese American local eats. Thank you!
have to try them. food is good
I'm a japanes food lovers ! this is one of the best Japanese restaurant in Monterey Park. Good food, good price👍
Been going there for 22 years, good food and decent prices!
We had a boat with chicken beef tempura and sushi We had a ball enjoy the company the food and the music we'll go be .👍
Very tasty food and big portions too, and the atmosphere inside is very nice
They are so nice to all the customers. Great food, and sushi is great
Tasty food, friendly, nice waitresses, affordable prices, great sake and tea.
My kids favorite Japanese restaurant. They already know us 🤗. Food is delicious and fresh.
been coming here for year. Get their sushi (tekka maki and salmon are always amazing and freshly prepared) .
Tempura, soup, salad and teriyaki chicken were all delicious! Reasonable prices, too!
Excellent service, food is fresh oner is very nice 👍🙂
Best sushi restaurant been going there for over 23 yrs
I dine here somewhat frequently. The service is very friendly and the sushi is fresh. I always feel welcome, which is not common for me in Monterey Park restaurants.
Shinanos is great. You'll pay a decent amount but it is well worth it. Awesome spot to make a date night out of. Great atmosphere although you wouldn't know from the outside. There are other Japanese spots that can keep up with Shinanos but this spot is definitely one to hit. Don't knock it until you've had the Boat special! Kick back some sake shots and enjoy your time. 🍳
My dining experience was very good the food was fresh very tasty, being the fact that we were celebrating my sister's birthday and it was actually a very nice setting the service was exceptionable and did I mention the food very delicious and the fruit on our boats were fresh and extremely sweet.
Great service, food, and atmosphere. Haven't tried the tatami rooms but it sounds great. The fact that they reopen is early as 5 is a huge plus for me!
We rarely go to Japanese restaurants but here is a little different. It serves real Japanese foods, not Americanized Japanese foods. We can enjoy it with the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese restaurant in Japan. My parents go to these lunch twice a week and every time they enjoy "Nigiri-Sushi". "Nigiri-Sushi" here is nice for Japanese. Other notable food is "Katsu-don", "Sukiyaki" and "Chirashi-sushi". And lunch price are very reasonable and volummy. Please try it and must enjoy.
Very friendly staff. A great first experience. Amazing quality; very fresh and decent sized pieces and rolls. I will definitely be coming back.
This little Japanese restaurant right there on Atlantic boulevard has been a staple in our family for years I remember my sister took me here maybe 30 years ago and it hasn't changed the food is still right there the service everything Cole would mess everybody up it did a number on a lot of people and I know that all these little restaurants they struggle to stay afloat I know they did just paying the rent but this place survived and I'm glad give it a shot when you're in the mood me and my sister go here all the time Anthony Matez your doordash / restaurant credit/ liquor store credit/scratcher connoisseur LOL I'm just playing have a good day everybody
Love this place. Been coming hete since at least the 90's. Crunchy tempura, great Sushi and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
I've been going to Shinano's for longer than I can remember. Great food. Great atmosphere. My family has always typically ordered one of their "Boats", a combination of meats (beef, chicken, salmon), mixed tempura, sushi, sashimi, and fruit served on a large wooden boat. Along with the boat comes rice, miso soup, and tsukemono. It is a feast! When it's busy, servers can tend to forget you, but luckily you'll have plenty of food to keep you occupied.
Honestly delicious. I wasn't expecting it! If you haven't had lunch here I recommend dropping by. The chef has skill that is readily apparent
Great food and good service. Been coming here for almost 40 years and it never disappoints. I'm a loyal customer.
Order the 2 or 3 combo. Generous portion. Light hand on the teriyaki sause. Awesome crispy katsu. Reasonable prices. Friendly service. They even have tatami rooms!!!
We've been coming here for 20+ years. The food is great, portions are on the larger side and very friendly service.
The restaurant has been there for 30 years...great service and food
First time here and went with the Una ju. Una ju is lightly showered with sauce over rice and miso soup on the side. The eel melts as soon as it touches the tongue. Will mosdef be back to try a different dish
AS THE STORY GOES, IF ANYONE REMEMBERS " YAMAS" ON MAIN IN ALHAMBRA. WAS MY FAMLIES FAVORITE JAPANESE RESTAURANT. SADLY IT CLOSED. WE TRIED MANY OTHER RESTAURANTS, BUT TO NO AVAIL. CAME ACROSS SHINANOS IN MONTEREY PARK. DELICIOUS! NOT YOUR HIP MODERN RESTAURANT. VERY COMFY & WELCOMING. IT'S GOING TO BE OUR GO TO JAPANESE RESTAURANT. THANK YOU ALL WHO WORK THERE. SEE YOU SOON.
We have been coming here for over 10+ years for a reason..FOR A REASON!!!! Food is consistently amazing, prices are excellent, service has been great and the Tatami Room is a must!!!!
My falvorite japanes place to go. The portions gor the pricecare great. The staff are very pleasant. The service is usually pretty quick. The food is delicious
Great service as well as great food. Shinanos offers a wide variety of food that is made and served fresh. This is a great place to eat and experience a close to authentic Japanese restaurant.
I been coming here with my brothers for a couple of years for the Yosenabe soup. It's hard to find this soup in many places and they make it very good.
Just feels good to enjoy food freshly cooked! Done safely as possible with limited seating, of course. Tempura was very nice and crisp. Beef teriyaki was delicious and succulent. This is the Go-To spot for getting those Japanese comfort food cravings fulfilled.
My family visited Shinano for the first time and enjoyed it. The service and food was excellent. I had the Sukiyaki and it was delicious! The meat was sweet and tender; the vegetables were good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Great place to dine and visit! The atmosphere is alluring and the wait staff were excellent with their hosting services. Moderately priced food & drink that matches today's level of Quality! 5 stars all the way! :)
Great sushi spot and enjoyed talking with Uton the chef Staff was friendly and service was quick. Will go again
First time going to this place...very delicious and fresh. Loved the tempura! Our hot green tea was very good and tasty...different from other places I have tried. Will be back...it takes a little to get your food but fresh food takes time. 👍
Great little gem in Monterey Park. If you like oysters, and you get there early enough, you'll be treated to the largest, tastiest oysters around. 😋😎🤘🍣🍻🍶 Update: Still great in 2025 😊👍
Went here for lunch for a little family luncheon. Wasn't that busy, only a few other customers, so seating was pretty quick. They got some decent lunch roll specials and a good variety of the usual Japanese dishes. I got the sukiyaki bowl and some of my siblings got the lunchb bento combinations. My sukiyaki bowl was an actual bowl of sukiyaki with a side dish of rice and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bento lunches were decent too: usual combinations of protein, rice, tempura/sashimi, veggies, and potato. Also tried the salmon skin roll, but honestly didn't like it. Tasted a bit too burnt for my liking. Overall, another decent Japanese restaurant to try out if you're looking another place to try out.
We are regulars at Shinano as it’s just a walk away from our home. What keeps us coming back? The great food, deal and people! We love sitting at the sushi bar, where Oda gives us amazing service. We haven’t found better oysters in the area!
Very chill and home like vibes , made to order sushi/sashimi. Nice modern music to keep you entertained 😉. Definitely will come back here to try a lot more that they have to offer.
I had the teriyaki chicken and salmon plate with white rice and it was delicious! I called before and just picked it up. They were very polite and professional! I will definitely be returning!
This is the BEST JAPANESE RESTAURANT within 20 miles from N. Whittier. The food is Amazing, they have the friendliest Staff and Great Pricing. I have been coming to this place for 40 years.
The food here is great! We sat at the sushi bar, and asked the chef about the various rolls. He was very knowledgeable and answered all questions we had. We settled on the pink kimono roll (a special roll I think) and a garlic truffle roll. Both of those rolls were AMAZING! A lady who I think was the owner came by, and checked up on us. She was super nice!
Was pleasantly surprised to find this place. I had gone to the restaurant up the street but one recent Saturday night, that other place had a line outside and I have a slight allergy to lines for restaurants. Especially in Los Angeles county in particularly in Monterey Park where there are so many excellent options. To prove the point I saw this place which almost never has cars in front of it even though it appears to be open. intrigued I found out in fact there's parking around the back and they have plenty of regulars. The reason why they have plenty of regulars is because they have a buy one get one free sushi roll deal which I at least assume accounts for some of the fandom of this place. I like the fact that it feels like a family run restaurant and that they serve chowanmushi. And a very tasty sukiyaki. Among everything else that they served it's very good. I like the fact that they have mixed matched dishes and serving plates. The service is good although they do tend to get overwhelmed if there's a lot of people. What's really charming is that there is a separate room that is set up in the traditional Japanese style which are available to reserve a day in advance. Still I have yet to take advantage of them but I will get around to it at some point. I highly recommend the place also because the prices are decent and actually are very good for the quality of the food. Not a big fan of the music they play but mostly because it's too loud
YUMMY! Sushi rolls had great flavor combinations, beef teriyaki was tender, Tempura was crispy. Portion size was plentiful. Service was friendly. Highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing experience at Shinano! 🍣 We ordered sashimi, six different rolls, and tempura — everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor (my faves were the Cajun Salmon Roll + Salmon Lava Roll - not pictured because I dug in immediately 💀). The sashimi melted in our mouths, the rolls were creative and delicious, and the tempura was light and perfectly crisp. 😍 Did I mention they have a BOGO 50% off on rolls right now? 👀 (STEAL!) AND you have a chance to win a Labubu with a $50+ purchase? Bummer that I didn’t win it, but it was still fun to spin the wheel. 😁 Friendly service with an authentic ambience, which made it even better. 10/10 recommend. 🤩 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wow! Such a good meal. The flavors were delectable, and you really feel the touch of Japanese tradition with every dish. The customer service was top-notch as well. Make sure you order from the specials menu!
Love this place! Food is always fresh and tasty highly recommend 🍱
Very reasonable and good quality. Thumbs up from us. We got the chirashi, dinner bento, a specialty roll and tempura. Ate everything

This is our favorite sushi spot! The servers are super friendly and the atmosphere is great! It’s a little hidden so we almost passed by it but we’re glad we stopped by. I just wish the servers had a little more help with some more employees because this place can get a little slow because of the server to table ratio. Otherwise, please stop by here for great food and friendly faces!
I've been coming here for almost 25 years, the food is always excellent. The sushi is always fresh and now they have a buy one roll, get one 50% off
Love the food here & the people are nice here.
My favorite old school Japanese restaurant! My family enjoys the Love Boat when we are all gathered, but when it's just a few of us, our favorites are the Nabeyaki Udon, the 2-item Bento box, and the Sukiyaki. Sushi chef on premises makes delightful fish delicacies. We had a family birthday party in the Tatami room, where we ordered a few Love Boats and lots of sushi and the staff made us feel very special with their attentiveness.

Food was good but being 1 of 3 tables in the dining room, the service was extremely slow especially for the lunch hour. Has to ask to get a beverage.
Very decent food. Great price. Good service.
Small restaurant, very good food and very decent portions, sushi bar and a great variety of food, friendly staff.
Service, Food and prices are consistantly Good, never had to complain about this place, we being coming here for 20yrs+
The place is a little run-down, but the service and the food were great.
Food was excellent, but service was somewhat slow and random. Some things may take a while to prepare, but usually a server will check in with you and confirm that your order is in process, and that didn't happen. They also have floor-level tables with cutouts underneath for one's legs, but I don't know if you need special reservations to be seated there. I was there for lunch and no one was using them.
Yummy Japanese comfort food. Been coming here for years. CC consistently delicious.
Not sure when the new owners took over this place haven't been here for about for about 6 months but the food was delicious And I definitely would go back again. Service was a little bit slow they are short staffed. I was a bit disappointed with the chawan mushi thought it was a little bit on the dry side but everything else was delicious. Pricing is reasonable . I'm surprised they haven't raised their prices. I am glad I went back for another try.
Shinano is a mom and pop shop that has been around for a long while. Its less of a specialized sushi spot and more of a Japanese diner that has adequate sushi and sashimi options. I've been going here on and off for the past decade, each time the service was always courteous and helpful. I've mainly gotten the chirashi bowl or nigiri assortment set as well as their lunch specials (Teriyaki). Their portions are pretty generous and their price is higher than the local average but within reason for Japanese food. This is Japanese comfort food that hasn't dropped in quality despite its age. Dining at the sushi bar with Chef Ota definitely makes it a better experience.
Really good sushi where you wouldn't expect it. The ambiance is really just OK, but their fish has been fresh on every one of my visits (which has been a few). Nice bar, but I always prefer asahi and/or sake.
I live in this area for long time, I have seen this restaurant but I do not know it is opened or not? I am delivery driver, I went here and picked up some food last 2 weeks around 8.00 pm, I was not sure it’s open or not because in the front of this restaurant was very dark, no light on, no car parked in the front. After I went inside I found this restaurant is very nice decoration and long Sushi Bar ( my first time). I took my son to try this restaurant 5 days ago, I found the same atmosphere, it’s very dark in the front, they forgot turn the light on, no car park in the front, they have a small sign showed main entrance in the back of restaurant. But I parked in the front and walk to the back, so another customers parked behind me and tried to go inside by the front. We tried many kind of food, We found everything is DELICIOUS, ORIGINAL TASTE, QUALITY FOOD, REASONABLE PRICE , SUSHI BAR CHEF SENIOR LOOK VERY PROFESSIONAL. I would like to recommend THE OWNER to change your strategy businesses 1. Do not forget to turn the light on in the front. 2. Change OPEN sign from paper to be big light sign. 3. Main entrance should be in the front and provide some chairs for waiting . 4. Allow parking in the front first and additional parking in the rear( show your business is very busy) 5. Put some glass to your front door ( can see through and show very nice decorations inside) I will take my family to this restaurant again and again. Everyone should come and try original Japanese food here.
1st time here, it was decently packed. Service was good and the food wasn't bad. I ordered the sukiyaki which was delicious, their dynamite is not like your usual dynamite- I wouldn't order again. Sushi is average, would come back again though.
We had an early family dinner tonight at Shinano. Combination dinner set w/ 2 items (chicken and tempura) a Salmon Lava Roll, Salmon Lemon roll and Miso Eggplant. Everything was good. Food tasted great. Service was quick and the server checked on us multiple times.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shinano Japanese Restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant boasts a throwback cool vibe that transports you back in time by 20-30 years. With warm lighting and wooden screens separating the dining room and sushi bar, the ambiance was incredibly cozy. I visited for lunch on a typically slow Monday, and the service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying the shokado bento, as it was surprisingly good. The tempura was light and flavorful without being too greasy, and the portions were true to Japanese tradition – just enough to leave you feeling satisfied. The quality of the sashimi was superb as well. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience.
Came here because the original place we wanted to go to had too long of a wait. We arrived around 7PM Friday night and was able to get a table upon arrival. The food was good. Nothing extraordinary but it was good and came out pretty fast. Spent $140 for 3 people.
Old school Japanese and sushi restaurant with many traditional menu items. Food ranged from good to excellent and service was top notch, although may have been a little overwhelmed when the restaurant hits its peak (around 6-7pm on the day we went which was a Sunday). We were celebrating my mom’s birthday and in a large group of 11. We were able to use a side room, just off the main dining room, which was very cool as we were loud and messy :). They also have some traditional Japanese dining areas, sit down style, which looked to accommodate groups up to 8 people or so. Not sure if they are staffed for that, but may be an option with up front notice - sorry, forgot to take pics :(. We ordered too many items to list, but some key takeaways. Their “boats” can definitely serve more than 2 people as noted. The sashimi and California rolls that come with the boat is very small, but otherwise huge servings and probably serve four people, especially if you add a few sushi, sashimi or rolls. Steamed clams appetizer was delicious and again, larger serving than anticipated. Grilled squid was also a standout. Whole squid, grilled to perfection. Spicy tuna nachos, Brussels sprouts and jalapeño Hamachi were also table favorites. Nigiri sushi, which is what I ordered was good. Not really a standout, but if you are there with a group and want to try different types of dishes, this is the place to go. Service was really friendly and helpful, except when they were very busy, but we were there from 5-8pm and for the most part very happy. Especially how helpful they were with some of the extra service that comes with a birthday (think cake, extra plates, candles, lighter, etc) and large group (think extra plates, bowls and chopsticks for sharing). Consensus was that we will be back for future group dinners due to the side room, food and service. The one thing I would ask them to work on is their restrooms. Women’s restroom didn’t have liners and men’s restroom didn’t have paper towels. They addressed it as soon as we brought it up, but seems like an easy item to fix before opening. Hoping to update to a 5 star review after the next visit!
Overall, a pleasant dinner experience 🙂! My friend recommended it since she lives in the area. All of the employees are really friendly and courteous ☺️! We came here for dinner after watching a movie at the nearby AMC Atlantic Times Square. Since it has been colder than usual in Southern CA these past several days, we decided to get udon. My friend got the regular udon. I got the Nabeyaki udon. Our waiter was friendly, and checked on us and refilled our green teas 🍵 at least once. They might have been shorthanded because he wasn’t able to be as attentive after more people came in. We had to wave him down to ask for the bill 💸. A fly seemed to have entered the restaurant at some point when perhaps the front door was opened by a customer. It was flying around and we found ourselves constantly waving it away from our food. Finally, our waiter came with a fly-swatter and tried to swat and shoo it away. I don’t think he meant to make a commotion. But there was just so much swatting and shooing activity right around where we sat in his attempts to try to get to the fly. If it wasn’t for that, we would have had a much more relaxed dinner without having to look constantly around us for the fly possibly landing on our food. The udon 🍜 was hot and delicious 😋 and our green teas 🍵 kept us very warm as well on a cold day 🥶! There is a small parking lot in the back of the restaurant and we easily parked there 🙂! Overall, it’s a really nice and quaint restaurant in the heart ❤️ of Monterey Park where you can get seated and served right away ☺️!
It was very quiet and the food came out pretty fast. In my opinion the food was good and it looked well made.
Tasty Chirashi Bowl @ a nice price. Chirashi Bowl, miso soup, edamame, ice tea and a Kirin for $35 (tip included)

Pretty good for a casual dinner.
3 stars= it's...okay. I think that's the perfect rating. Nothing to brag about and nothing to really complain about. Food was ok. Service was ok.
Not sure what happened the night we went, but we waited a long time for our food to come out. Hopefully, the restaurant works on it.
I know this place is a staple and been here forever, and it shows. The food was fine. The place needs a makeover, like new carpet or at least take the old carpet out and a deep-clean.
The new and improved Shinano is more or less the same. Portions are less, taste is bland.. Credit card machine was also down for the longest time. I don't know, really don't know how it'll hold up compared to when the previous original owner sold it.
I do not recommend calling or using an app for takeout. I only recommend dining in. My sister used Postmates to order takeout for our family. The app said the food was ready as we were driving over there. First of all, the place looks shady when driving up. You have to park in the back. And the door looks like something you'd see for a house, not a commercial building. And when you enter, you're transported back to the late 1980s. The couch had that squiggly abstract pattern, and the restaurant was carpeted. And there are no windows. We told one of the employees that we ordered through Postmates, and she said it would be ready in a few minutes. Ten minutes passed, and nothing. Once ten turned to 15, we asked how much longer. She said she would tell the chefs to hurry. So that means our order wasn't ready at all. Not sure if that's the app's fault or the restaurant for marking that it was done. Fifteen minutes turned to 30, and our order was finally complete. We ordered six rolls and fried calamari. It should've taken the usual 20 minutes to make. And as we were waiting, other people were also waiting for their orders, some using an app and others that called it in. I understand that restaurants had to adapt very quickly due to the pandemic. But if the chefs can't prioritize online/phone orders with dine-in orders, then the restaurant needs to either train them or not have online options. I should note there were 2 sushi chefs and not many people dining inside, along with maybe 4 more people in the kitchen. So I don't think staffing shortages were the issue. Speaking of the diners, they also look like they've been going there since the 1980s. Which I guess is a good sign- they all looked local. And as for the sushi: it was actually pretty good. I wouldn't say it was worth the wait, but I'm glad they were tasty. I'd probably come back here to dine in and check out their menu. Sometimes the apps don't show everything or don't describe it well.
Food was ok before i found a bug inside my soup. no same way as it use to be years ago , my girl and i went for dinner we had some nabe and we never got the kizami. Waitres were noisier than all costumers, but not my restaurant so who cares. Service was poor. Maybe it was not our night to be there
My Sushi was fine but my partner's dish was not so good....in her words...."disappointing". The quality of the beef in her combination bento box was not good, fatty and scraps of beef...not what she was expecting.... service was good but sparse.
Miso is good except wish they'd use ceramic bowls plastic is so bad. Its an old classic in need of a fresh revamped menu. The setting is traditional with quaint private rooms.
Rolls were okay. Spider roll and cucumber eel roll were great. Chef was rude and standoffish. Hands dishes to you by pushing it into your hands and doesn't make eye contact when he does. No sushi plates were given and when asked he handed us ginger plates instead. What is different and cool about this place is that there is floor dining in private tatami rooms.
The service was on the slow side. One person as the waiter, bus person, and greeter. Three tables were being served at the time. I ordered a combination sashimi and tempura plate. It was pretty good. Tempura was crunchy on the outside. Sashimi was fresh and very good. Two pieces each of yellowfin and salmon. California Rolls were very good too. A good place to eat, but the need to step up on there service.

For being the oldest Japanese restaurant in San Gabriel valley. They suck. Service is horrible especially if you are white. Went for mothers day and was very disappointed. Go to osho much better
Its an older place. The food is good but their service is really bad. We waited 10 minutes before they even took our drink order.
Several B-rated experiences now, ordered 2 garlic albacore rolls that took an hour and one was clearly a california roll topped with albacore while the other was not. Im down to wait patiently for something tasty, but cut corners = bad review. Many of my families sushi orders were falling apart. & gross water :( -- darn, hate to be a hater
The food was not that good. Nor was it flavorful. I tried to take into account that it was delivery, and the food was cold when I got it. But the taste doesn't make me want to visit and the Wasabi was not strong. The dining maybe a good experience, but based on the food alone... I'll pass . And my postmates delivery driver, sucked. I wished that I didn't tip him. That idiot left my food at the office if my apartment complex. My apt. number was listed with the address, if you found the address, you could have found the apartment

We had a party of 9 for dinner. Our reservation was for 6, one hour after opening, so not overly crowded. The food was good, but the service was not great. The food took quite awhile to get served; then one plate was missing. It took forever for them to figure out what happened (at first they said the kitchen had served all the food ordered. They just had to count the plates on the table! Or as if one of us just forgot to order!). The missing plate took forever and was finally served until all of the other guests in our party were done eating!!!! The waiter did admit it was his error; but we should have at least received a discount. Also, our drinks were never refreshed. Won't be going back.

Nothing special were out of first 3 items on their menu when I finally got to order they are slow rude and selective with who they wait on hardly anyone in the place and it took 45 min to take our order that's when we had to say thing cause they took someone's order that they seemed to know and got there after us the simple roll I got was mediocre not great sake was only thing good i had NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN
Horrible... called in order for pick up at 5pm They told me 1 hour. I arrived and waited an additional hour for my food.
Sushi taste ok the part i didn't like is when they're looking at you to make sure you hurry up and eat they keep up coming up to your table done are you done so very rude
I waited 40 minutes today -- 15 minutes for the table, 5 minutes for the server to take my order, and 20 minutes for the food to come. The restaurant was not full; there were empty tables, but the young guy server "discriminated" against single people. He wouldn't let me and another single lady behind me sit at the 4-person tables and insisted us to sit in the 2-person tables. And he wouldn't seat us in the sushu bar either, whose chairs were all empty. That lady ended up waiting much longer than me. Those empty tables remained unseated until the restaurant was closed. And 20 minutes was simply too long for a lunch special of the day. The server never refilled my water. I would not go back.
This place gives priority to Asian people. After waiting 15 minutes, my family and I were so excited that we would be the next to be seated. A Japanese family came in and the waitress told them that they would be seated after us. So this family decided to wait at the bar. I became restless and decided to see what family was almost done eating. To my surprise, they had already sat the Japanese family that came after us. Feeling discriminated, we decided to leave and will never come back.
place is cute kinda good food. Although the servers are very slow , the sushi chef is slow and prioritize regulars orders been waiting for one roll for 30 minutes , lady took forever to take my card barley checked up , they all seem nice but very slow
