Cheapest beer in the airport, and the sushi hit the spot!
Had the Vegetable Roll ($8.75) - was delicious.
Winju was lovely! Excellent service.
Nice sushi, friendly server!
Bomb food and amazing service !
Seafood & a drink selection to die for !
The Bartender was excellent
Delicious! Even the rice 🤗. Fresh. I was so happy to have a clearly labelled vegan meal. With the self service I had my meal ready to eat within 2 minutes.
The bar tender was so kind and helpful telling me how I could make the delicious looking poke bowls gluten free. Thank you Les!!
Taste was not quite right for both rice rolls and drinks but service and being treated like a human at LAX is what matters to me more. 5 stars! :)
They made a fresh Pokebow. We got the Volcano one. It was good. The miso soup was great, too.
Lester is the MVP here. Friendly, and professional. If you want a good drink before heading to your gate, and a comfortable place to have one, this is it.
Shoutout to the bartenders at this spot! Got me absolutely slammered before I jumped on a plane for my honeymoon. Highly recommend lol
Les was great. Organised, clean and efficient. Would come here first, every time.
Great quick to go experience here today. Fresh salmon! $20 is pricey but it's an airport. I'm pleased. Took about 1 min from when I paid for my order. Would come back. I wish they did custome orders but it's small menu only.
Eating sushi in an airport seems like a risky choice, yet my only complaint was the price. Which, considering the combo of sushi and airport food, is to be expected. Service was professional and courteous. Offered suggestions. Food was prepared quickly. Fresh and tasty ingredients. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and an Alaskan roll. Alaskan roll pictured.
Feel like poke before catching your next flight? This place didn't disappoint. Poke was fresh and tasty 😋
Don't expect too much, we are at the airport after all. I like this place and I might come back. The sushi is pretty good. The service though is very slow.
Absolutely delicious Poke and great dirty martini preflight festivities 🥳 Nice bartender .. Edwardo is great ! 😊

Had a lovely poke bowl and miso soup, made fresh. They also serve various drinks, including wine from new zealand! The staff were all lovely, especially our server. Made us feel right at home and made our airport experience a lot better.
GoogleMaps says it's closed, but it isn't!! Amazing professional and friendly bartender who definitely knows how to make a pre-flight spicy Bloody Mary.
Didn’t expect anything good cuz of 2 starts reviews and it’s in airport. I ordered spicy tuna bowl and it was made fresh. It tasted surprisingly good, flavor-wise and freshness-wise. Id recommend if you can ask for fresh made cuz lots of negative reviews is those poke are made hours ago and no fresh.

Decent food for an airport endeavor but insanely overpriced.
Sushi and beer. Yess please
期待はしていなかったけど寿司もうどんも美味しかった。 ただ、高い
Hey it's airport food... freshly made pokey bowl went well with a hazy IPA... better than a lot of the other available places here.
Airport Japanese place wise, this is really good. The beef was very tender.

Expensive rolls at $10-20 each.
Pagas todo por tu cuenta, nadie te atiende, dice que los asientos son solo para dine in guest y te mueven de los asientos que por que esos son para el bar, es ridículo
It's okay pretty much summarizes this place. The poke bowl is no where near how or what poke bowls are served at a poke bowl restaurant where you can make your own, plus the poke bowls at this place is expensive for a few pieces of fish and cold rice that's clumped together because it probably came out of a package that was then reheated. I don't recommend getting a poke bowl here and you should just find something else overpriced at the airport, perhaps a burrito or sandwich.

Poor service. Opening times are not those advertised
Nothing special…
Got the Volcano Poke bowl and miso soup. The Jalapeno on the volcano tastes like jalapeno, that's all, the rest (salmon, tuna, edamame, rice...) all taste the same as a cardboard. Everything is clumped hard, you need some chopsticks force to pry the pieces apart. The entire body of rice was one huge single piece, and good luck breaking it into smaller chunks. Miso soup looks like miso soup, but tates like boiled green onions...and that's what i got. Won't eat it again if was given to me for free
Should have read the reviews first. Oh well, still on east coast time and a little delirious so it was edible. I had miso soup and the dragon roll. Soup was ok. Plastic spoon was not. Dragon roll was akin to buffet sushi, not the conveyor belt in Tokyo, but buffet...with crab legs. 2 stars as service was good. Pass next time. 👎🏻
Pretty disappointed with the food here. Very expensive for normal sushi rolls and they were extremely small and fell apart. They tasted good is the only thing that got them to two stars. Won’t be back
Bad service, miso soup was terrible, poke bowl was ok.
April 2024 Bought a box of raw tuna sushi and it was so disappointing. The rice was dry and hard and the tuna didn't taste any good. Also ridiculously expensive at 15 dollars, considering how small the portion was and how bad the quality was. It didn't feel like I was eating sushi.

Szkoda że nie można dać 0. Okropna obsługa.
Ordered the rice bowl. Awful. Runny rice, probably with day old chicken. And worst of all, $17 for that bit of horror. Avoid.
Horrible food, horrible service. Not recommended
pleaseeeeeee dont ever come here ! worst !!!!!
Awful. Slow.
Aggressively mediocre
May 24th around 3pm , very embarrassing business, had a guy who was about to help me but he had to clock off because of a shift change, the lady who was supposed to help me left the bar with her supervisor, leaving the whole bar empty for nearly 30 minutes. The guy who was clocking off came back and asked if I had been helped, told him about the bartender leaving and he said I'd be better off at another bar since the bartender was not there. Imagine that a business who's employee is telling you to go somewhere else, Very bad on the establishments part, people walked past looking interested , standing next to the bar but leaving since no one was there to help. They need new employees or more employees. Never been to a business where the front of the house is not staffed.

They were not making poke bowls fresh, so got a premade one and it was inedible. Old cold rice, fish was gooey, dressing way too sweet. Ate 4 bites and threw it away - what a waste of $18
I got the dragon roll and a mango lemonade. The roll was disgusting, the avocado was old and the spicy tuna and rice were mush. The glass was 3/4 full of ice, and while good was not nearly worth the price. Save your time and money and don't eat here.
Not one to leave reviews but the spicy tuna roll tasted nothing like tuna. The tuna poke had the biggest tuna cuts i have ever seen, hard, tasteless, hard rice. Barely no sauce. Just awful. And the owners leave two people in charge of a restaurant with hundreds of people. Need to sort it out asap.
The WORST onigiri (triangular rice cakes) I've had in my life. I did not purchase it with high expectations, being in the airport. Even so, as a fan of Japanese food (or just food in general), I was VERY disappointed that my lunch ended up being cold, hard, bland, unpalatable rice (I don't think it was even sushi rice), with a VERY minimal amount of mentaiko (the roe filling it was meant to came with). Not to mention the service I had was very very slow considering they had 2 chefs and 1 ?manager, and only 1 customer before me. Disappointed is an understatement. If I didn't have a flight to be catching I would be asking for my money back.
Worst sushi I ever ate. Save your money. The rice wasn't even good. Bland, flavorless, disgusting, over priced. The rolls were falling apart and I could have made them better blindfolded. Who let these so called chefs even touch food? They destroy it!
No signage to tell you that you can choose any seat. Until you approach a staff member do they tell you that. Furthermore, no one told me I could not share a table with someone. I asked the person at the table, and the person kindly agreed to let me share the table, however a staff told me off in a condescending manner that I could not share the table and I had to wait my turn. After finally getting a table, I had to wait around 4 minutes just to get a menu. Everyone is just doing their own job and no one cares. Shameful service
If you've had great sushi before you'll be completely disappointed with this place. Cannot believe the amazing sushi place that is now P.F. Chang's was closed and this less than satisfying place is open. Customer service left a lot to be desired as well. Find another place worth the Los Angeles high prices.
Awful even for airport food.
My one star is only for the lack if service, it is in no way directed at the food, i cannot review the food because i was never served. I waited patiently for 15 minutes, and was passed several times by multiple employees and was never greeted. It was not busy, 2 customers at the bar and a small family sitting next to me who was visited 3 times by a server.
Their miso soup is so salty that it’s inedible and when complained staff didn’t care and not keen to even listen . They wouldn’t make any money if they were not placed at the airport .
Stunning deceptive advertising Poke bowl minus cilantro, crispy onions, jalapeño slices. Disinterested guy behind bar no help.
Sushi did not look good so I got an (expensive) onigiri. Worst onigiri I have ever had. I do not recommend this place.
It took them 45 minutes to make 3 orders of nagiri salmon, I wouldn't recommend going there unless you have 1 hour minimum to spend before you get your food.
This is by far one of the worst food / bar experiences i have ever had.... Only 1 thing available on the "menu" no draft beers available, the staff actually wanted me to leave, outlets covered in duct tape.... The worst poke bowl on earth is here and if thats what you're looking for come here!
The worst poke bowl but $20. My plastic fork couldn't even penetrate the rice because the rice is hard as rock 🤮
I purchased the Vegan Beet Tofu Poke it didn’t have any beets. Spoke the manager and he said it’s “Beet Tofu”. I mentioned that it is listed as separate ingredients. All he would say is it’s “ beet tofu “ what an Idiot. He wouldn’t help me😂
not good. Not sure if it’s fresh from the day of. Got the poke bowl. old rice not fully cooked and frozen. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Their plastic spoon tasted like dish washer, the staff changed it right away without additional explanations, and no surprise on her face neither which seems like it’s normal. I am highly doubting they are reusing the plastic spoons. Worst experience ever. For sure won’t be back again...

I should have read the reviews before I walked in, They say it's a gamble eating sushi at an airport, this one is a gamble for sure. Poke bowl rice is frozen, rice is so hard it would break your chopsticks, rawfish is not fresh, tuna roll here gotta be the worst roll I ever had, $40 down the drain, threw the food straight in the trash. Usually not the one to leave bad reviews, but this one fully deserved it.
$30 for half a shot of vodka in a mixed drink. Horrible service from bartenders that sat on their phones the whole time. Had to repeat my order 4 times to them. Will never come back.
LAME bartender with a lame personality and didn't attend much. Also made lame drinks. Very disappointing.
