Opiniones de Sushi Sakana Dallas
We dined here on a Sunday evening. It was very busy, but we were seated promptly. The service was good and attentive. For starter we ordered the Crab Wonton, good choice. My main course, Spicy Chicken, was well prepared, with well balanced flavors. It included Miso Soup and Salad. My dining companions enjoyed their meal very well. I will patronize this establishment again.
Sushi Sakana was great. The service was quick, the staff was polite, and the food tasted really fresh. Everything came out nicely prepared, and the portions were solid for the price. Definitely a spot I’d go back to.
Blown away from how insanely delicious this food was!!! We had the croquettes, a yellowtail hand roll, the shrimp tempura udon, the bulgogi fries, and the chicken curry. Everything was a 10/10, and I can’t wait to come back ♡
This place has very great amazing Japanese food, bento box meal was interesting and so delicious, and ate one of the best sushi I ever ate. This cuisine is very worth a try.
Came during lunch and ordered A LOT of food and they did not disappoint. The service was incredible and I have really high expectations. The crab rangoons and the Tuna Nachos we're really good! Got the Baked Salmon, Sakura Roll, and the Wild Alaskan and they were all great! Definitely coming back again!
Great food and options available for everyone. The prices are great for the size of the rolls and everything in them. They do not hold back on the proteins, sauces and rest of the ingredients. Definitely will be coming back to check out the rest of the rolls I wanted. Got a dessert at the end which was delicious.
AMAZING FRESH SUSHI!! the atmosphere is very cozy and perfect for a first date. It’s never super busy which is really nice so it’s very personable. They were playing country music when we went which was alil weird for a sushi place lol. Other than the country music, the food was perfect. Definitely get the gyoza, best I’ve had in awhile.
I found this restaurant on Google and decided to have lunch here before going to the Dallas Museum of Art. I was immediately greeted and sat upon entering. The inside decor was very upscale and elegant. The lunch menu had plenty of options and great deals. I started with the miso soup, which was very flavorful. The sushi was 2 for $14, and I decided on the spicy salmon and shrimp. The salmon was my favorite of the two. The star of the meal was definitely the bulgogi bento box. The meat was beyond delicious and paired well with the steamed rice, shrimp tempura, and eggrolls. This restaurant was a 10 out of 10, I cant wait to return again.
So glad I found this sushi spot in uptown. It’s my new favorite. Incredible service, beautiful little restaurant and the friendliest staff. Both rolls I had were amazing, along with Takoyaki. Can’t wait to come back!
They have thick slices of sashimi and it's great quality! I went during lunch and got the lunch special sushi combo and sashimi combo. Also got the tropicana, the riceless roll. My favorite! I like the ambience of the place, beautiful interior. Theres also outside tables available if you want to enjoy the good weather. Only thing is parking is not as available since it's dallas. So you either pay for parking or get lucky with street parking.
Food and atmosphere was wonderful. We ordered 3 rolls and all were delicious, unfortunately I can’t remember the names but I did take a picture. Highly recommend Sushi Sakana.

Ordered take out. Sushi sakana was 10/10. My boyfriend and I live in the area and wanted to try. SO GOOD! The Wild Alaskan was my fav. My boyfriend enjoyed the rice-less rolls; especially the Spicy Kiss. All the fish was so fresh. Portion were bigger than expected. We will def order again. New fav sushi spot in the area!
We eat here 3-4 times a month and have been doing this for a long time. What is impressive is the quality and consistency of all items. The staff are super friendly. One of the best sushi places to eat in plano.
We had lunch at Sushi Sakana Uptown on McKinney Ave and it was a top‑notch experience. Between the California roll, salmon with avocado roll, two shrimp tempura rolls and the Vegas roll — everything was outstanding, especially for the lunch menu price. The atmosphere was comfortable, and service was solid. Highly recommend this spot for sushi in Dallas.
Such a lovely place! The food tasted so fresh, and the service was amazing — everyone was so kind and welcoming. The restaurant has a cozy and peaceful vibe, perfect for a casual or special dinner. I’ll definitely come back again!

Had dinner here recently and everything was just right - fresh sushi, clean flavors, and a calm atmosphere. A very pleasant experience overall. I'd happily come back again!!
The sushi at this restaurant was decent but nothing exceptional. The variety of rolls was okay, and the quality of the fish and appetizer was average - Fantastic Roll ($18) & Friend Calamari ($10). The service was prompt, but the ambiance lacked a bit of character. Overall, it's an average spot for a quick sushi fix compared to other DFW sushi spots. I might try again for their Happy Hour.
Husband and I had a great time there! We love the sushi! The price is not cheap but you are paying what you will get. The sashimi is really fresh. Staffs are very nice as well! Will recommend and come back again.
We enjoyed our time here. We came in for a late lunch (past the lunch menu options, unfortunately) and decided to share the handroll trio and the shrimp tempura plate. We tried to clarify with the waiter that we were getting three sushi rolls, and were surprised at the handrolled cones that we got instead. It's not their fault that we didn't know what handrolled sushi was, but we made the decision to order on false pretenses that weren't really explained by the waiter. Regardless, though difficult to share, the rolls were fresh and tasty. The miso and salad were quite good. The tempura and coconut shrimp were both good. The breading on the vegetables was heavy, and I didn't love it, though I think that's just personal preference. The asparagus was good and seasoned well. They gave us little bites of strawberry fish ice cream when they gave us our check, which was nice. We were full and satisfied sharing these two dishes between two people.

regular sushi prices at lunch by the piece are insane for what they are and not listed on the menu. Its about $38 for 8 pcs of salmon sushi, but their lunch or set prices are great. Really doesnt make sense.

****updated review**** While the sushi is really good the consistency is terrible and every time I order it’s always a different price I pay and what’s even worst is I order the same roll every time , the spider roll , soft shell crab , imitation crab , cucumber , avocado . I don’t like imitation crab so they charge me $9 extra to substitute imitation for real snow crab the last two times I order they charged me and still gave me imitation crab ! And the second order there was barley any crab in the roll at all literally 2 of the prices only had soft shell crab no real snow crab or imitation ! And the manager or whoever asked the sushi chef about it as the sushi chef told him he put plenty of crab in the roll! & I’m like wow he a plenty liar cause no way! So the manager ask me to bring the roll back up there so they can see . I WFM with my 1 year old I don’t have time for these games and spending my money where things aren’t correct is a problem . So I will only dine in going forth so if I have any issues it will be addressed right then and there ! Do better and accuracy of orders ! Really really good and fresh! I ordered the Spider roll w/ real snow crab and wow ! Very flavorful! Didn’t make it home !
