I recently used Mechis for catering my father’s birthday, and the experience was nothing short of amazing! The food was an absolute hit—every single dish was packed with flavor, extremely fresh, and guests couldn’t stop raving about it. People were even taking food home because they loved it so much! Many of my guests were shocked that food this good could be found outside the city, with some even saying it’s better than what you’d find in the city. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the presentation to the perfect balance of flavors. The price was affordable, and to top it off, we even received a free salad, which was a thoughtful and appreciated touch. Mechis exceeded all expectations, and I’ll definitely be using them for every event I host in the future. If you’re looking for top-notch catering with delicious food and excellent familiar service, look no further than Mechis!

Not only is this the best food in town the atmosphere and the attention from the owners is so beautiful! They make you feel so welcomed and like family. I am going almost weekly at this point. Try the habichuelas con dulce, moro, white rice, and oven roasted chicken, yuca with onions, the oxtail…. Literally EVERYTHING IS AMAZING!!!

So far, I have tried the pernil, rice and beans, and the steak and cheese hot sandwich. Everything was very good. The owners and staff are very kind and friendly as well. I will definitely visit again and recommend to family and friends.

Love, love , love this place! My husband, son and I were visiting from VA and found this spot Saturday for dinner. We had the chicken & cheese and beef and cheese pastelitos (empanada). Yum! We also had the yellow rice with beans and stewed chicken & beef and a berry bowl. SO SO good! We loved it all so much we went back Sunday for lunch before leaving town. We all would highly recommend. Not only was the food fantastic, but we were treated like family. ❤️

I’m so glad that we found this little spot. The food is authentic and fresh, it reminded me of the food in the Dominican Republic. The service was great, the owners are the most humble and friendly people. I am so excited to continue coming to Mechi’s for all of my cravings. By the way the beans tasted delicious, I can have them everyday. If you’re looking for good Dominican food this is definitely the place to go.

My first time visiting this establishment after reading all the reviews i was nearby and decided to try the pollo guisado white rice and pork chicharon along with freshly made flan. Everything was 10/10. Excellent food made with lots of love. The service was also impressive she was super friendly! Please visit and enjoy the best of what Dominican Republic has to offer!

The food is really good and the staff is very friendly. I wish they would change the name because you would never know they have Spanish food. There is no parking lot. The prices are average but you get a lot of food.

Stopped in after a day at the Outlets and it was a great find. These folks are legit Dominican from el Cibao. Food was fantastic and the service was even better. We got like 6-7 plates of food to go and when we got home, everyone was super happy. mofongo, bistec guisao, pollo guisao…all were fantastic.

The staff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean, but my two visits have shown that the food just hasn’t met my expectations. The oxtail was both watery and tough. I ordered two different meals, as I like to try various dishes, but unfortunately, neither was satisfactory. I'm sharing this feedback honestly.

Food was decent. Paid $30 for two platters that consisted of only rice and pernil. They give you a ton of rice but would have been nice to have included more sides. Felt a bit overpriced. Seating is tight. It’s more of a take out counter. They do have a few stools against the wall if you’d like to eat in. Service was a bit slow.

The chicken they serve was most deff very old/overcooked , it actually bent the fork and knife they gave us, as well as I couldnt believe how expensive the food was compared to the quality
