I made a total mistake on my order by mistaking the size of the #4 burger and #1 burger. I though my order was prepared wrong , but it wasn’t. Even with it being my mistake Ms. Veronica up graded my order to what I thought I was getting at first. I made the mistake and the cashier, Kayla, did a great job taking my order. Me and my family eat here all the time and they always provide us with GREAT customer service from a great group of people. Veronica I appreciate you!!!
I absolutely love the fast and friendly service tthat I get every time I come to this spot! The young lady working the drive thru window was amazingly awesome. And her smile...WOW! Her smile alone made this a 5 star rating. (Visited 25 March 2020 approximately 2:45pm) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ok so I wrote a review of how bad a burger once was, uncooked, darn near raw and unapologetic taste that was nasty. One of the managers(for piracy reasons I will not say the name) at this location reached out to me and asked what was wrong, and I can tell she cared about this a lot. Yes it's a job bit for some its a way of life and this is her way. Please give her a raise. I went back today to see if DQ could redeem themselves...... Let's just say my order got ate up within 2 minutes of me getting home. No pictures are provided unless you can x ray my belly. Cooked perfectly to a sweet and savory bite. And it stays in my mouth with a pleasant taste. Thank you DQ for bringing a smile to my face.
Solid meal. I never expect too much from fast food but this DQ was very good. The interior was clean. The food was hot and fresh, even steaming. And it tasted great. Would stop by here again.
I don't remember the girl at the window's name but she was absolutely fantastic. We had asked for a drink carrier and she went as for to put kids and label all of them for us. I've had good service in the past but nobody ever went this far.
Quick, happy, friendly, kinds, efficient. First time here. Drove here after a very disappointing experience at the local Sonic...(stay away from them)> The drinks were perfect and we treated ourselves to a Dilly Bar! Yeah - We will be back!!!
Always fast & staff friendly and the food is good ! 1/2 priced drinks including limeade and slushes between 10:30 -11 & 2-5. Quick on/off heading North on IH35 (Hwy 79 exit)
Though this one has a tricky drive thru and not a lot of parking, the staff are super nice and the food is great. Tried one of the spicy burgers and it was really good. Not too spicy but just enough. Also we always love the blizzards here. We got the cake batter dough blizzard and it is a win.
Best Dairy Queen ever. Food is excellent and staff will be sure to give you top service even if you have special instructions. Will always come to this Dairy Queen even if I have to travel. 100/10 stars.
Always a great go-to when you want some DQ! The food and our orders are always spot on, the staff is wonderful, the ice cream and treats hit the spot, and the restaurant is clean. They offer excellent customer service, and we've always had a terrific experience here. Recommend! We love this DQ!
Very polite and great staff. Thank you dq for hiring such good staff. She made my day today. ❤️. I was not in good mood and talking to her based on her attitude she made my day. People should learn from her. Definitely will visit again not for dq. But for the staff there. By the way got the free cone very tasty. Thank you for the cone.
Great place amd quality of food! I wish the owners would open one in Pflugerville 😞
Tried to go through drive thru. The worker was out there coming to vehicles taking orders as soon as we drove up. Trying to be efficient I suppose. We couldn't look at the menu. She said we had to scan it to our phones. We did that. The online menu looked significantly smaller than the drive thru menu. I asked if that was all they had and she affirmed with an attitude and began to be rude. We didn't even stay to order. We had just come back from a multi state road trip and simply wanted some quick yummy food. I love Dairy Queen. Have for years. But when a they hire a worker who isn't customer service oriented, and treats customers as inconveniences, even Dairy Queen can begin to taste bad. 😟 Drove a few feet over to Short Stop and got fantastic service.
We stopped by Dairy Queen tonight and had such a great experience. The worker who helped us was so polite, friendly, and did an amazing job with our order. He listened carefully to everything we asked for, and the ice cream came out perfect. It was such a nice experience and deserves to be recognized!
Hot, fresh food with great service. Need I say more. Wish I had gotten there a few minutes before 5pm to take advantage of the happy hour, but I was still satisfied. The cost was a little pricier than I had expected, but the food was worth it.
My family and I stopped by for dinner tonight. The only real complaint we had was we were parked from the drive thru. This normally wouldn't have been an issue, but they gave us our ice cream sandwiches before we were parked. By the time we got home, the ice cream sandwiches were very melted. I wish they could have been brought out with our food instead.
The service was very friendly. Place was neat and clean. I had only the triple cheeseburger without the sides and to be honest if you got to pay $10 for a hamburger it has to have the wow factor which I didn't experience it here. Overall good.
Wow, I'm so impressed with DQ's new and improved fast food menu affordable pricez and taste. However they always seem to be under staff during day time. Fix the timing of service and I would give them a total rating of 5 stars.
They were all confused with my order and gave the wrong sizes of blizzards. It was OK as usual in terms of quality and taste.
Took forever to get my food. They were pretty busy and people were waiting right alongside me. The young lady delivering the food had a pleasant attitude even though she was working her butt off to get the food out to everyone.
There was some confusion over the flavor I ordered and I had to request a new flavor at the drive thru. They were also out of the drumstick blizzard so I had to request something else in place of that as well but I really appreciate how quickly they were able to remake me different flavors The young lady in the drive window was super sweet and helpful with trying to explain the mishap. I appreciate the good customer service
Food and blizzards were rushed and sloppy. Taco shells were broken and missing ingredients. Kids hamburger was microwaved and inedible. The place was very busy but no excuse to maintain quality
Got a mini Mint Oreo Blizzard and a small Turtle Blizzard, both were good till the bottom 1/4, which was not mixed/just soft-serve. But the guy taking orders at the drive through was courteous and efficient.
Went there tonight especially to order fried cheese bites and jalitos, which did not disappoint. Love the food from DQ. I went there after 10 pm. I was the only one in line and they asked me to pull over and wait for the chicken strips to be cooked. It took about 15 minutes. However, the food was delicious. Burger was great and the onion rings superb.
Not the best customer service and that's bc they always seem short-handed and always busy. I'm NGL, as long as I come here and I'm getting my yummy bizzards, I don't care. If they get my order wrong, they ALWAYS try to make it right and that's all you can ask for. The food for me is better than Sonics, but the blizzards and the shakes are where it's at. The prices are good and won't break the bank. If you like ice cream and yummy Blizzards, then this is your spot! The new cookie Blizzard and the brownie caramel Sundays are awesome!!
Old school Dairy Queen. It's been in Round Rock since I was a kid. Looks the same as it didn't since I was a kid. Lol. Food is always served hot and as ordered. I only gave it 3 stars because it's a fast food chain. There is nothing special about it. Desserts, though, are the best thing about Dairy Queen. Always get dessert. People are always friendly, and service is always stellar. They are always smiling and seem happy to work there. If you haven't had the peanut buster parfait, you're missing out. Seasonal dipped cones are always amazing too. I wish they would bring back the churro dipped cone.
At first, the workers, specially the manager, seemed too stressed. She was starting to do everything in a fast, clumsy way and taking clients’ orders too quickly and carelessly. When we finally were able to order and received our food, the food we got was actually well done and tasted pretty good. The prices are cheaper than most fast-food restaurants and the taste is almost the same. Worth the wait.
My chocolate malt tasted great! I'm so glad I discovered this DQ! It was easy to place my order--the speaker was clear. When I got to the window I could see a well oiled machine of employees working together, moving easily around each other to get individual orders completed. I look forward to returning.
Old school DQ vibe in the decor. Outdoor covered patio. Pretty typical DQ menu. Meal was basic DQ variety. I had the tacos which were decent. Kids meal cheeseburger was actually kid size unlike some othef local DQs which give you a adult sized burger. Bathrooms were clean if somewhat cramped, do I really need three different hand drying devices along with two soap and hand sanitizing dispensers clustered around a tiny corner sink that I have to squeeze by to enter? Probably not. Snickers blizzard was good as was my wife's chocolate malt.
The napkins are self-service but are located between two tables, and if the two tables have customers, the napkins aren't accessible. I have lived in Round Rock 38 yrs and don't remember DQ having this set up before! I will not be eating here again if the napkins are in that location when I walk in!
They were out of tomatoes but that's not why I gave 3 stars... I order my burger without mustard and onions, when I got home I opened my burger and both those items were on it. I took off the onions (it was easy) but they also smothered my burger in mustard! Ketchup didn't even help and of course we didn't get any napkins and we had a toddler with us! Napkins people come on! Very disappointed! ☹️
Wrong drink, missing drink, very slow service, but the food all came out accurate. Eventually. Felt like the location was understaffed or that the staff was still in training. Fries were good.
They were a little busy but the wait wasn't too long. I ordered 5 meals so I expected to wait a bit longer. My burger bun was soggy on the top so I didn't eat the bread. I took the burger off and ate it separately. I also wanted to try the orange Julius drink but the cashier didn't know what I was talking about so unfortunately I didn't get to order one.
Haven't been to DQ in years but with the temperatures hitting triple digits me and the kids needed a Blizzard. The cashier was very polite and the food was good. Blizzards were excellent. My only complaint would be that the tables and benches were dirty. I had to clean up a booth myself so that we could sit down. Other than that I will definitely be back this summer!!
Definitely not a Mayfield DQ but it's aight. Food was good. Customer service not the best.
Good place to go too, not fantastic. They forgot my blizzard but fixed it quickly. Parking lot and inside of store is nice enough, wished it looked more inviting. Pretty good 7 dollar deal. Fries were better than expected.
They aren’t apart of the app, Kay said at the drive through. You would think they would have to if they have the sticker on their windows??? 23.54 for 4 small blizzards and a small shake. The building is rough looking. There was no line and the wait wasn’t long at all. Not sure I would come back to this one.
Jalitos one of the best burgers but not at this place. Ordered 3 Jalitos burgers and 2 regular belt busters with cheese. The fried jalapeños were burnt and the burgers smelled like gasoline. Both the Sprite and Coke at the soda fountain tasted more like carbonated water than soda. Everyone tossed their meals in the trash. Service was good.
Really bad location by people that don't care about quality and service. I came here when it was empty and they completely messed up my order and I wondering how? Cold fries, messy burger. Nope, never coming here again.
This burger and fries were not hot enough and the food was not fresh. I had to wait for some fresh fries. This place was not a good visit.
I ordered a cheeseburger kids meal with a milk and a med. Mocha moo-latte in the drive th. Worst moo-latte I've ever had, the milk was blinky and warm, the cheeseburger and fries were cold and the kids working were kind of rude. After eating 1/2 of everything, I felt I'll. You'd think for $10.90 you'd get a decent meal
Went to DQ for food and ice cream which were both satisfactory. The employees obviously did not want to be there. The lady who took our order seemed quite unhappy and not friendly in the least. I will probably not be returning to this dairy queen
My grandsons and I were disappointed. The ice cream lacked flavor. They threw the cones away half eaten. My grandsons are 5 and 9. I got the caramel fudge cheesecake blizzard and there was no caramel that I could see or taste. Also, very little of the fudge and only slightly more of the cheesecake bites.
I ordered at the usual dinner time... i got steak finger basket, hamburger, chicken strips, with a grilled cheese kids meal. The fries we received were cold and tasted old. My daughters grilled cheese sandwich was very bland. Again. Fries were cold. The chicken strips were very hard. Like they were overcooked or left under the hot lamp for tooo long. Again. Fries were gross. The burger was not great either according to my son. The meat tasted old, parts of the meat were hard. Fries were the same. I had no issues with the steak finger basket other than the toast being crunchy and the fries. The fries were horrible. Im not sure if this is a usual thing or not.. this was my first time at this location, so i dont know, but I'd say eat somewhere else.
While in drive through, we experienced a few problems. I ordered three meals and was short one order of French fries. The main problem was we ordered two large Dr. Peppers and the lady gave us the first one. As I was taking a drink and realized it was nothing but carbon water, she came back and advised that are out of Dr. Pepper. I told her about my drink and she said they are aware of it. So why did they give it to me? I asked if and how long until we could get Dr. Pepper and she said they didn't know how long it would be. Don't give a customer something you wouldn't drink or eat.
Great blizzards, but terrible service. It took 15 minutes to get three blizzards and we were the only ones in line! All but one employee were clueless as to what was going on with the orders. In fact, we ordered one of their royal blizzards and the person making it asked us if WE knew what ingredients went in it—he "couldn't find the recipe card." We ultimately had to order a different blizzard.
This place is staffed with staff that delivers burgers without the beef patties, including taking long in delivering an order to go plus the atmosphere is dirty and not clean.
Stopped at the dairy queen on 79 next to 35. This has to be the worst Dairy Queen I've ever been to. The two ladies working there at 1pm on March 17 are the rudest saddest excuse for a customer service restaurant worker. I ordered a large strawberry sundae. The cup might have been a large but the serving was definitely not. The ice cream was about an inch in diameter and stood several inches. So narrow it was leaning. The employee grabbed a can of whip cream, smacked it against the counter to remove the lid. Then put a dob of cream on the very top of the ice cream. She handed it to me. I said, is this really a large? She just said, YEP. Thats four dollars and some change. Have a nice day. I'll never go there again. I'll go to Hutto. If the franchise owner thinks this is how to run a store? Corporate needs to take a look at this owner.
Undercooked fries, bread that's not even grilled...... for 20$ id expect well cooked fries that are not soggy and mushy, and properly grilled toast. I guess this is what you get when you hire kids to run a store, and not properly train.
This Dairy Queen is definitely not as good as the surrounding Dairy Queen‘s. The food is not as good. The ice cream is not creamy… it tastes more like a mix that frozen with water. If you want a special treat like ice cream, you will be disappointed here. Make the drive to Georgetown or Hutto to eat at those Dairy Queen‘s. Or Culver’s and Andy’s are right up the road. Baskin-Robbins is right next-door. The competition is steep they better step it up.
I haven’t been to a DQ in over 5 years and now I know why I haven’t. The crew working a Friday night seemed INCOMPETENT. There were over 7 members working and I heard no communication. Just silence. If there was a manager there, could have fooled me. No wonder the service was poor, there was no one encouraging a hustle, so no need for workers to acknowledge the fast paced environment of fast food. All I ordered was a blizzard and I waited over 20 min.
It's been years since I last visited this location. It's been over 1 year since I last visited any DQ for that matter. I wasn't impressed & most likely won't be back for a while unless I happen to be in the area, starving, & nothing else is open. The chicken strips were decent, not terrible but not anything special either. The french fries were terrible. Small portioned, overcooked & warm, at best. In other words, far from fresh. The employees could use some training as far as customer service is concerned, as well as, interpersonal skills. It was quite noisy as things kept being dropped from behind the counter. IE: brooms (multiple times), various other unknown objects. They began closing down the restaurant, (mopping the dining room floor, etc), while I was eating so I felt extremely rushed, even though they still had an hour left before the restaurant closed. It's quite small so I wouldn't expect it to take that long to complete closing duties. But I get it, they want to go home asap after they close, not be stuck at work doing sidework. I probably would have overlooked the closing distractions had the CS been a bit better, & more importantly had the food been at least average. Fresh, not old. It's fast food for crying out loud. It takes a couple of minutes, at most, to prepare the menu items I ordered. Oh well. You get what you pay for I suppose.
Ordered a chicken strip basket and got cold chicken strips. When I took it back the lady at the front counter seemed frustrated and replied you'll have to wait 7 minutes. I said that's fine I would like fresh food for the money I've spent. I had to go stand by the counter after 8 minutes to remind them I was waiting on my fresh food. Finally she got the cooks attention and he brought it up to the counter. All in all.. just disappointed.
My experience at this location was disappointing. Ordering took several minutes, and although the staff repeated my order correctly, things went downhill at the pickup window. The employee’s tone felt condescending when I misunderstood a question about my cone. After I paid, she shut the window. Inside, I saw one worker making my cone with her bare hand, and another worker preparing our Blizzard while switching between touching the screen and the ice cream without changing gloves. Neither seemed ideal from a food-safety standpoint. The double-dip cone I received was cracked, and when I asked for a replacement, I was told “it’s supposed to be like that” and that remaking it wouldn’t help. While I tried to juggle the cone and two Blizzards, I heard the employee sigh loudly. She kept shutting the window before I could ask questions, and I had to wait for her to reopen it just to find out which Blizzard was which. When I got home, I realized I had been charged for mediums instead of the smalls I ordered. This is my second bad experience at this location, and I’m not impressed.
Went in tonight to get dinner… the steak fingers were old and dry. The fries were cold and undercooked. Soggy. The blizzard was good, but those are nearly impossible to mess up. Tried calling and the number went straight to a voice message. I kept my receipt and will go and complain in person tomorrow.
Used to be good but going to have to find new spot. Look how they served my burger. Everyone that works there is as unfriendly as they come. If you don't like working there quit. Why give people crappie good and even crappie service. Mooyeah burgers is better just a little further away from me but don't plan on getting robbed again.
Very slow! Chicken strips weren't done steak fingers weren't done after they asked me to pull around and I waited for 20 minutes I went inside I had to wait for another five minutes from to get to me so I could ask as a look at my food sitting up there under the warmer. If you're going to take forever you think you could at least get it done all the way!
Blizzards are not made the same anymore. I got a mini banana split blizzard. It had one small piece of banana, strawberry mashed specks and some pineapple. Fruit was mixed in only half of the ice cream. Next time I went I got the larger size thinking they would surely mix it better....I was wrong. Got almost all pineapple and small piece of banana. The bottom half was untouched ice cream. If I go back I'd be better off getting a banana split then take it home to mix it up myself.
I placed an order to go by phone for a curbside pick-up due to Covid 19 precautions. They told me the order would be ready when I arrived, but to stop by the drive-thru window for payment and pick-up. When I arrived at the drive-thru windows for my order. The clerk instructed to pulled to front of the building and someone would bring out to me shortly. I didn't know that the order would take another 15 - 20 minutes to complete. They finally bought the order to be; no apology, no customer service, or correction on the order. I asked to speak Mgr on duty, he never came to the phone. Save yourself some time and trouble. Please visit another location.
I never eat from here and looks like itll stay that way. Employee lena or leena or whatever is a sad excuse for an employee. Girl they do not pay u enough clearly so go get a job youll be happy working cus ur attitude was unnecessary. But if u wanna clock out and keep the same energy lmk girlie 🩷 10 stars to the employee who gave me her name 😊 word of advice to the manager: LET THIS GIRL GO FOR YOUR BUSINESS. Being snarky and attitude filled to both the cars in front and behind me. Like girl all he asked for was marinara sauce u dont have to yell at the top of your lungs at the poor old man…. im self employed so couldnt be me. 💅🏼
The manager (name is Leena) on nightshift 05/29/23 must have a miserable life. Me and my wife just came for ice-cream and where practically pushed out of the store/made to hurry up. I also heard some dashers talking amongst themselves that they've been waiting for almost a hour and she was yelling if you don't like it you can leave. Will not return with Cruella DeVille still working there. Multiple reviews show how awful of an employee she is yet she still has a job.
The service was horrible!! This has been a mother's day tradition for us . Since tomorrow is Mother's day and Covid-19 hit . I know everyone going to be out. I didn't want to risk it so we came today. They just throw our Burger's and fries in a big bag. Very sloppy . Also my banana split was made sloppy. I called to speak to the Manager and I complained. I was like paid for pecans and whipped cream. I only got 6 pecans . I didn't even mention I didn't get whip cream. The manager response was the pecans are free and was rude. Okay even if was free. Please take pride in your work because this was supposed be a special day. Service value has go down. Very disappointed.
We live closest to this Dairy Queen but drive an extra 15 minutes to go to a different because the food and service are not great. We have tried multiple times and it always falls short.
My burger was cold and you could tell it was leftover from lunch went around 2 pm also the fries were hard and cold. My husband's burger and fries were the same. Very disappointing we have been to other Dairy Queens and have never had our food come to this way.
🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 Wow what can I say…. horrible food, nasty restaurant, don’t waste your time or money here.
I am a frequent customer at this location. However, this will be my last visit. While waiting on the window to get my blizzards, a young lady employee got something on her hands and started licking all her fingers. She was not wearing gloves and DID NOT wash her hands after. She then continued making desserts while grabbing everything with her dirty hands. Not acceptable. Management must do something as this is a severe health hazard. Wife and I decided to throw desserts away. Very very disgusting
Need to update menu it says they have meals half off for happy hour but it’s false advertisement smh
The line was wrapped around the building for absolutely no reason. Get to window to pay and it's basically a whole party inside. Have fun at work by all means, but do your job first. Ingrid & Shamarrow were the 2 extremely loud ones at the window. There's no way there could have been a manager on duty. Overall poor service. Better training is needed.
Ordered food, paid, then was told to go back through to drive though. Received tenders that were stale, and fries that were soggy. Would not recommend getting food closer to closing time.
This location has some of the worst staff for service. The attitude is awful! They don't listen to your order to make it even remotely close to what you want and do not like being asked to fix it or remake it. They make you wait for part of your order in the front of the building for over 20 minutes before you have to go in and remind them that you're still waiting on things you already paid for. They are clearly not managed properly
Ove been ordering at this restaurant for years, and they never flip the blizzard. They also REFUSE to do the free additional blizzard or refund on first. I ordered tonight (Feb 22nd 9:01 pm. Putting this in because I EXPECT the manager to fix this. The snarky attitude she had when she said "I always flip my blizzards" was extremely disrespectful. Then she not quite slam the window on us so we couldn't rebuttle. Please fix your employees attitude and work ethic ASAP.
We went in at approximately 9:20PM on the way to work. We walked in and the girl behind the counter said "You're gonna have to wait". She completed what she was doing on her tablet and we waited. Other patrons were getting upset because they hadn't gotten their food yet. At 9:35 since the girl hadn't even taken our order or even acknowledged us, we left and went down the road to McDonald's - not what we wanted but had no choice. I have never been to any of the Mayfield DQ's and been treated this way. Absolutely makes me not want to go to any of them anymore.
Drive threw worker was flat out rude and gave a attitude when i forgot to give the 3 cents of change. corndog bread is slimy and burger is just flat out gross, wont be going back
Manager Joel and employee were doing nothing in an empty restaurant while my mobile order was still sitting iniPad. Gave me attitudeas I asked how long order would take. Proceeded to cancel order. Will never return to this location!.
It’s was cold last night (1/8/22) and the thought of a warm like grandmas bowl of chicken and dumplings would hit the spot. Which the last time before the Pandemic was better than grandmas. After waiting over fifteen after I ordered, I finally got my bag of mouthwatering chicken and dumplings. I rushed home! much to my surprise when I got home and opened the two containers and peered inside, I saw greasy, watery, nasty slop I wouldn’t feed to my dog. It smelled as bad and tasted worse, I threw both of the containers in the trash and waisted $12.00 dollars that’s harder earned these days. What’s the problem people, the food service was not customer service. Note: when I was given my bag, the girl at the window had no idea I hadn’t paid, when I corrected her and paid, what a mistake I made.
We literally just drove through the drive through and got our order that we asked to have repeated to us 3 times., you think it would have been correct. Nope one burger had everything my husband allergic to and can’t eat that we asked not to put on the burger. It was completely wrong. The burgers are soggy wet and were not even wrapped correctly. The fries are cold. Everything was just thrown in the bag. I been calling for the last five minutes to let them know, they keep hanging up on me. I hate writing bad reviews and I try to let them correct it, but if your going to hang up on a customer who just wanted their food corrected. Then you asked for a truthful review!
I received a $15 gift card and decided to put it towards a meal and dessert for my 2 teen aged grandkids. I ordered a spicy chicken basket and a steak finger basket with cheesy bites instead of fries. Did you notice how I didn't say the combo. Well the young woman proceeded to hand my kids two huge cups. So I'm like ok. Then she says , that will be $29.10 😳 I'm like wowwww. So I squint my old eyes as I look at the menu and realized she had rung us up for the combos which I never get at any restaurant. My kids prefer water anyhow. But by then my kids are standing next to me with full cups of coke. So I pay $15 gift card and she said I had a balance of $14.10. I hand her a $20. She gives me change back. A $5 dollar bill. I'm still in shock at how can junk fast food for only 2 people be almost $30??? So I decided to look at my receipt while my kids ate , and I realized she had short changed me by .90 cents. Almost a dollar. So I ask about that and she says , well that's what the computer told me to give you back. I'm like , whattttt!!?? So she calls someone higher up, lol. And she gives me .90 cents and says I don't know why that happened! So I go ahead and tell her about her cashier bringing it upon herself to order us combos even though that is not what I ordered!! All she could say was . "They drank their cokes , didn't they!!!!! So , did my kids get dessert. Yeah from the HEB down the road!! The end
I ordered the cheeseburger deluxe lunch special and was really dismayed with the quality of the food and the service. The cashier forgot to give me my soda and sundae that comes with the meal. I had to remind her. The meal was terrible. The burger was cold, and the soda was flat. The fries were sub standard too. I complained to the manager who offered a free meal but made condescending comments like I was an idiot during our 5 minute conversation. There were no other cars there at 1 pm which tells me everyone in nearby area knows their food and service is disappointing. Do not go to this location.
I ordered and paid for steak fingers and got these dried up chicken fingers! I worked 15 hours and was tired. I drive home, showered, and sat down to enjoy my food. Never going back! Oh and Madison at the window needs to work on her customer service skills! Don't come to the window thinking your on the next customer and then say 'oh' with disappointment oozing from your lips like I was your worse enemy.l, and quickly slam the window shut!! Too many fails at this location (309 W Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX)!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
Beyond upset with this place. Went through the drive thru. Ordered and when we got to the window I asked if we could please make sure the fries were hot. She told me to pull around to the front. They forgot about the order. We waited 10 minutes and my husband went to get the food. Needless to say fries were cold and no offer for a voucher or anything.
I come to this DQ very often and tonight was my last visit. I get to the window and the young lady was handing me my order. I asked her if she could remake my parfait and she got mad and closed the window telling the other girl I wanted it remade. While they all stood looking and giggling. She had to get the manager to help with my rewards that I had. Then I asked the manager to help in remaking my parfait and she did because the young lady was messing it up again. I get home to only to see the banana spilt I ordered looked a hot mess. I live 2 minutes away and I will go on 620 from this day forward.
Ordered DoorDash for 3 ice cream treats They gave DoorDash the wrong order. I was told my options were to drive to the store (why then did I order DoorDash?!?) or complain to DoorDash that they gave me the wrong order. This was from DQ’ s manager. They didn’t this lousy location did. Don’t order from them!!!
Literally stood at the counter for 3 minutes while people were just standing there talking in front of me. Not a single one greeted me only “what can I get for you?” And “anything else?”. Kinda shit and won’t be coming back 😅 came here for a throw back and I was very sorely disappointed
Horrible experience... waited for 25 minutes for two hamburgers. Drive through guy sent me to wait out front in my car. Finally I went inside and was ignored by the drive through window person. I noticed our bag of food at the kitchen window. Finally the drive through window guy came over asked what I needed to order. Will not be going back. The we're not busy
Tonight I came by for dinner. It was a pretty busy night I’ll admit. I placed my order at 8pm. I did get anxious to say something a little sooner but cause it was busy I didn’t. But after 30 mins I walked to the counter and asked about my food. Not only had it not been started but also over looked and never retraced. I sat for 30 mins after paying and wasted my time. Once I found out it hadn’t been started I requested a refund. I had no more time to waste and did not want to give this business my money tonight. Maybe another time but yall dropped the ball tonight
This happened on a Thursday night. I’m at the drive-through waiting to order for about five minutes until somebody finally speaks to me. I I ordered a plain burger with a couple of blizzards, and a Parmesan chicken basket, whoever was taking my order, kept trying to rush me, and I could barely understand whatever she was saying. I get to the window as she starts yelling my order back at me; So fast that I can’t even understand what she’s saying. I stopped in the middle of talking so I can confirm my order and I ask if she got the Parmesan chicken basket and then she tells me they don’t serve that anymore. Why have it on your website and let Me order it and then tell me you don’t have it when I try paying😑 Lady at drive-through was super rude. They kept forgetting many things and when I finally got back home with my order, my plain burger has lettuce and onions. I loved Dairy Queen and I keep coming back Because the food is good but Each time. The service gets worse. Y’all need a better hiring team because this is ridiculous. I think I’d rather make the drive to Mayfield, Dairy Queen🙄
Worst Dairy Queen experience of my life. When my wife tried to order a BLT they thought she meant hunger buster and was told by an employee “we don’t have those here only at the Mayfield Dairy Queen’s.” Multiple mistakes on the order such as wrong drinks and modifications that were requested were not made. And to top it off I ordered 3 grilled cheese kids meals and not a single one had the cheese melted. It was like the cook took 2 pieces of bread and just put a piece of cold cheese on them. The Mayfield owned Dairy Queen’s are far superior to this one and they have a location less than 10 minutes from this dairy queen. You will be much better off just going there. I will never be returning to this location as this is not the first time an issue like this has happened.
Our family came here for desserts. The cashiers were not nice. We ordered 5 desserts and ate at the patio. Service was fairly fast, but every time I picked one up dessert and took it out to our table, the two cashier girls were rude and never once smiled or spoke (even when we placed the order). It was off-putting.. There were also unable to tell me which DQ app to use. Actually, they never answered my question at all. I figured I’d just scan my receipt when I got home. Most of the food was good, but my daughter ordered a peanut buster parfait. There were very few peanuts in it, but a lot of peanut dust and husk. It was almost too salty to eat, but she didn’t want to go back in and get another from the mean girl brigade. If you want fantastic service at a DQ in Round Rock, go to the one at 620. It’s with the extra few minutes drive. You’ll leave happier than you do at the Palm Valley location
Took my order, told me to wait out front even though no one was behind me in line, somehow took 20 minutes for the food, even though there was only two people in front of me. My chicken sandwich was one of the worst pieces of poop I’ve been served at a somewhat fast food restaurant. Straight up brown rotting lettuce and the highlighter yellow part that’s bitter as heck. Then saw the chicken must have gotten frost bite and been rotting away or was double cooked. It was black and hard as can be. I’d love to talk to the management of this location.
Went for the dipped ice cream cone due to 109 heat index all day and needed a cool treat. Went inside at first but couldn’t stomach the rancid, moldy, foul body odor stench emanating from within. So the drive thru was also unpleasant thanks to a curt , hurried employee with zero manners. Overall I have to say it was a bad experience.
