The food is delicious! We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, hamburger, chicken cutlet parm hero, and fries. Everything was fresh, it was a generous amount of food, and so worth it! The fries are the best I've had in a long time, truly brought be back to my childhood. Delivery was fast and it all arrived hot. Highly recommended!

Had dinner on a Friday night around 9PM. It was very busy inside but they had seats available in the back which was perfect. It was calmer and quieter back there than by the bar area. Food was really good. The Buffalo Calamari was delicious. The Buffalo Wings were very meaty and cooked to perfection. The turkey dinner entree was perfect for $15. Had plentiful amount of food. The stuffing and turkey both cooked perfectly. Their dinner entrees come with a salad, vegetable, and potato. They have plenty of options on the menu. More than most bars I’ve visited. Wraps, salads, fried, not fried. Whatever you desire. Most importantly not overpriced and large portions.

I have not been in Wheeler’s since the 80’s, when it was a decent bar, and went last night for dinner with my son and am shocked that the place has not changed at all, and shocked at the terrific food and level of service. Every employee is well dressed, well mannered and goes out of their way to make sure their customers are happy. Surely will not take me another 35 years to come back!

Buffalo wings were good. Nachos were good. Been to this place many times, but never really ordered anything else. Last time I was there, I ordered the grilled chicken Ceasars salad. The chicken was good, I actually took all the chicken home because the salad, the romaine lettuce itself, was horrible. I don't remember the last time I had such horrible salad. I didn't feel like eating the chicken by itself. Either way, I recommend going there, just don't order the Ceasars salad.

Great place with excellent food! I come here frequently with my friends. We usually order the French Onion Soup, Caesar Salad, and Buffalo Wings. The wings are very delicious! I personally love the pastas here! The prices are very fair for the quality of the food.

THE place to go in Sheepshead Bay, whether you are looking for a drink at the bar or at a table, or a meal in the back. The majority of the staff has been there for a long time. The bartenders are great. They are very attentive and friendly, most especially Colleen and Danny. The food is delicious, (they are known for their mussels) and I love the nachos supreme and the mozzarella sticks. There is a large back room suitable for private parties. I highly recommend visiting Wheelers anytime you are in Sheepshead Bay.

In a time where where we find local restaurants sacrificing quality for profit, and the same location can be 5 stars on a Monday and 2 stars on a Thursday depending on who’s working, one place in Brooklyn never fails in the department of CONSISTENCY. I’ve been coming here for over 15 years, and the food and service is perfection every time. This is the one place I always feel confident bringing foodies from all over the city and friends from out of town because it will be a hit every time. My personal go to is obviously the wings, baked clams, cranberry blue cheese salad, chicken parm, mozz sticks. Never change Wheelers!

It's a nice place. It was my second time going there because I remembered my first. I was at a work Christmas dinner earlier at Patrizia's, and Wheeler's is walking distance from there. The service is great. I didn't eat there, just had drinks. The drinks were made excellently and they never ran out of cherries. The people are friendly and the bathroom is clean.

I went here last week Thursday and the staff was nice and efficient. There were 5 of us and our bill came up to $220. We all had a meal and muiltple alcoholic drinks so their prices are really reasonable. The food was really good. The drinks were strong but well made. My friends used to come here ten years ago and they said the quality has been good since then. I will definitely be returning.

We visited this place for the first time and were very pleased. The service was polite and attentive, the seafood platter was outstanding, and the pasta with chicken fillet was delicious — we really enjoyed everything. Drinks were brought very quickly. It was quite cold inside the restaurant, probably because it was freezing outside and the heating system couldn’t quite keep up, but overall we had a very positive experience and will definitely come back!

I am a margarita connoisseur of sorts. I just moved to Brooklyn and I habitually hunt for the best margarita I can find. This is it, back in Gresham, OR where I moved here from, there used to be a taco bar downtown called Uly’s, as a margarita snob; Uly’s was my bar until it closed down. My favorite drink there, the 1800 Coconut Margarita. Uly’s 1800 Coconut is a true 9.8/10 Margarita, I am shocked and delighted to say Wheelers 1800 Coconut Margarita is a genuine 9.87/10 and I bucket list must try margarita. Other notes about this place: terrific pricing, wonderful quality, excellent service, friendly vibe. I am dumbfounded. As soon as you stepping to this legendary spot you feel that Irish pub vibe , and it’s only one spot like this in Brooklyn, I suggest getting a shot if jameson, glass of Guiness, and pickle juice! For the food I suggest getting their steamed mussels in white sauce. You won’t regret!

The food is amazing the service is great and I highly recommend the mussels in the white sauce because they are one of the best I've ever tried... The drinks are good as well and I've noticed some reviews say that the bar/restaurant is outdated but that is the point this bar/ restaurant is a staple in the community and I appreciate that they leave it as is...

We started out with a glass of white sangria which was fruity and fresh. Appetizer nachos with everything set on the side so tasty especially the salsa and guac. Delicious blackened salmon sandwich with a baked potato and a lightly fried fillet with french fries were perfectly cooked! Dessert vanilla ice cream!

I've been here a few times over the last few months and never been disappointed. The drinks are perfectly priced (different variations of Moscow Mules for $9, not bad for NYC!) and so is the food. Service both at the bar and seated is quick and courteous. Can't say enough about their buffalo wings... Pictured is the Wheeler's Club (double decker sandwich with a BLT on top and turkey on the bottom). Fries were fresh and salted well.

I've been coming to this local spot since 1986. Great food,great bartenders and great crowd no matter the time of day. Have never stopped coming back even after I left my beloved Bklyn. Always liked Wheelers for a casual dining experience! Been going there for years! Lots of great options! Not just pub food either! Lately the freshness of the seafood has been questionable. We sent back a dozen clams last weekend (6/5/22), because they smelled overly fishy and suspect. The baked clams were from the same batch, so we tasted but didn't enjoy them either and sent the rest back. The restaurant did not charge us for what we did not eat. Hopefully this was an isolated incident and we can trust Wheelers to have fresh clams for our future seafood dining experience.

As for food… • Chicken fingers and fries are my go to- super crispy and yummy with a drink. • Wings are okay • French onion soup (one of my fav soups) was super salty with way too much Worcestershire sauce. Onions were half cooked, not caramelized at all, and it came without soaked bread? Which in my opinion is like the essence of french onion soup, so that was sad. • Goat cheese & pear salad isn’t too bad if you like sweeter savory profiles. • Guacamole smells like playdoh, and tastes like avocado lotion - so gross, like so so gross. • Salsa tastes like marinara sauce with jalapeños. • Fajitas are bland, and taste like they were reheated leftovers from two weeks ago. ^^ probably my mistake for ordering mexican at a bar.

Nice place, great for singles. Ordered the onion soup. So salty that I could not finish. My friend watered hers down to dilute the saltiness. Way too salty. Cezaer salad was ok. We were a group of 10 so not sure if service was less bec we were a bigger group.

It's your typical watering hole (bar) we ordered a lot of appetizers & even more drinks to wash the food down. Wings were good but a little soggy. Everything else was great, service was great & it's Inna decent location to find parking or get dropped of. Definitely a good after hours spot to chill out & unwind.

Been there several times and always order buffalo wings cause they're good. Not too salty or saucy and still have a crunch. The mussels in red sauce were okay. My friend seem to like them a lot. I prefer my mussels in garlic butter and well seasoned. The steak and chicken tid-bits was good. My friend and I prefer the chicken side lol.... We'll be returning.

Several tables are available with servers for customers dining in. Soups 🍲, salads 🥗, appetizers, burgers 🍔, sandwiches 🥪, entrees, pasta, wraps, quesadillas, fajitas, sides, desserts 🍨 and beverages ☕️ are on the menu. I ordered a cheeseburger deluxe and filet of sole entree with string beans 🫘 and a baked potato 🥔. The food was very good and tasty. Friendly and helpful staff.

A nice local place. The proportions in my Margherita where not perfect. To much lime and not enough of everything else. But passable. It's not an Italian restaurant so why I ordered Italian in not sure. It was OK. I had eggplant parmigiana with linguine. The eggplant was very thick so that it wasn't cooked evenly and should have been cooked just a little more. They pasta was not aldente but was tasty. I'll give them this. They portions are not skimpy at all.

Wings were meaty. The blue cheese dressing was tasty. If you liked your wings to be bread and fried, this is where to go. We order nachos, it was only okay.

But, food is just OK, certainly a variety of choices on the menu and specials, but nothing you can't get better elsewhere, in all honestly. Had the Steak Thumbits (steak on garlic bread with melted mozzarella cheese and steak sauce), which I've been raised on (half-joking?) - again, I've had better. Wings were good, but I've had better. Beer cold and plentiful, so there's always that! Kids are welcome, certainly, and the back room may offer a more quieter setting for them. If you're looking for a unassuming place to bring mom or dad to lunch, bingo! Street parking, both metered and residential.

The portions were big, which made the meal even more satisfying. The mojito was also refreshing and tasty. My family and friends went to Wheelers for dinner yesterday. the food was amazing. I have a 16-month-old child and my friend has a 6-year-old daughter. The children did not want to sit down and were wandering around the dining hall. The manager constantly came to our table and said that other customers were disturbed by the children. There were two tables in the hall including us. This manager always bothers us. He is a very rude man. When we told him that the children did not want to sit down, he got very angry, spilled the beers on our table, started yelling at us and wanted to kick us out. Our children were very scared and started crying. The manager needs to be changed urgently. Disrespectful, rude, bad person. Otherwise you will lose customers. If you have children, do not go there. You will be treated very badly because of the manager.horrible manager horrible!!!

You guys should be embarrassed of the food that you let leave your kitchen it’s disgusting completely threw everything out in the trash over $40 of food but you know what that is not the main reason why I am upset and appalled. This place is decent, food is ok but can a lot better, music is good and overall the place is a good way to spend your evening if you just want a drink, but unfortunately there are some very ungrateful and impudent waiters, I was getting ready to pay my bill but since my financial situation is not that great at the moment I left a 2 dollar tip since it was all I could possibly leave, but after the waiter came up to our table where 6 of my friends were sitting and publicly shamed me by saying “are you joking” and “if your going to tip 2$ don’t tip at all” and after that tried to find out where I work which was not even connected with the situation, this shocked me because I work in the restaurant business and I know how much tips matter especially when they are not included in the bill, but to come up like that and embarrass you informs of everybody is borderline wrong, no matter the situation tips are not mandatory and because of waiters like that people want to cancel tipping culture which keeps restaurant businesses alive, I don’t recommend this place if there are any other options near by go there.

Manager bald guy is rude and impolite He said he doesn’t care about laws and will not let me sit with my Service Dog while my friends were waiting for me inside at the table. My dog has service pet vest and ID on it. But he started saying that she’s too big(45lb????!!!) and he doesn’t let only pitbulls!!! That’s the reason, I was shocked, been there lot of times and never thought that place has so unprofessional management . Just wasted time coming there, had suddenly bad experience about the place I thought I know. That’s very sad when people has some stereotypes but can do what they want having just a little power.

For the price the food wasn’t worth it. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and nachos and couldn’t finish either of them it’s not hard to make a good quesadilla or plate of nachos. The food presentation was great but lacked flavor. One of the staff who I assumed was the manager was aggressive towards his other staff who were attentive and kind. The ingredients were great but for some reason they didn’t go well together on the plate. This place is great for drinks but not so much for food.

I went to this restaurant on Saturday with a group of friends, and we all ended up with severe food poisoning afterward. Within hours, we started feeling sick — nausea, stomach pain, fever, and weakness. My condition got so bad that I had to go to the emergency room to get an IV for dehydration and fatigue. This is absolutely unacceptable and shows a serious lack of hygiene and food safety standards. We went there expecting a pleasant meal and ended up dealing with days of sickness and medical bills. Clearly, something is very wrong with how their food is being handled or stored. It’s shocking that a restaurant can operate under such unsafe conditions. Avoid this place at all costs. No meal is worth risking your health. I’m posting this to warn others before they go through the same terrible experience.

SEVERE FOOD POISONING …AVOID THIS RESTAURANT! Do not eat here!!!. We visited this restaurant as a group of four on Saturday at 9 PM and ordered wings, nachos, quesadillas, and french fries. We believe the chicken poisoned us. All four of us spent the entire night violently vomiting. My fever spiked to 39°C forcing me to go to the hospital for emergency IV serum treatment. Over 24 hours later, we are still suffering. I have severe body aches, extreme weakness, and am still nauseous . This is not a simple stomach bug; this is severe food poisoning caused by their negligence. This restaurant plays with people's health. Their blatant disregard for basic food safety in the pursuit of profit is absolutely unacceptable. I am taking legal action. Do not make our mistake. Avoid this restaurant at all costs for your own well being.

Drinks were good. But food horrendous. Nachos and fries. How bad of a cook you need to be to mess up French fries??? You can tell they reheated them in the frier. How hard is it to make it fresh. The nachos I cannot tell you how bad it was. They just slapped everything together on the plate. You obviously come here to get a drink but you can’t eat!!!!
