I love the staff here! I go almost every day and they're always kind. Food is great as well.

I agree with other reviews that the prices are really inflated. But the staff are super friendly and there is a great variety of options. I got a great vegan Cafe Gratitude spicy tempeh salad that was the perfect grab and go for lunch. They have many other vegan options such as a bbq tofu sandwich, Southwestern salad (easily made even by subbing tofu for chicken and requesting no cheese), and they even have Halo brand vegan ice cream.
$15 for a poke bowl that didn’t have much flavouring

I honestly love eating here. The salad bar is great, the hot plate section is inviting and comforting, and the sandwich bar is the best of them all. It just costs a bit much to eat here regularly
One of the good food options at USC. It can be a little pricey but their sandwiches and hot food is good as is there selection of pre-packaged foods. They have a nice staff and if it's not right at lunch time this is generally one of the fastest options for lunch.
Expensive compared to a grocery store, but a great option for healthy on campus food. There are good sandwiches, salads, and entrees like chicken and salmon, as well as a small selection of fruits, vegetables, drinks, and snacks.
Seeds marketplace has great lunch alternatives lasagna, salad, sushi and chicken strips. If you want amusement park style chicken strips this is the place for you!
Great customer service. They are very busy but do their best in serving their customers in a friendly manner. They have they traditional rush hour from 12-2pm. I usually go and grab cookies from here as well as their Salmon plate. Definitely a place to try when you are at USC.

Despite my review, this is one of my favorire places to eat on campus. With the Cardinal and Gold student meal plan, you can eat here twice a week, so I recommend this place to any USC freshmen who are required to have this plan. The pictured salmon teriyaki bowl is available with this plan and I have it often! For the regular patron though, their prices are very high especially for concession items. There are also very few vegetarian meal options among the student meals or concession items.

When there's only option for dining, there's really not much of a choice. However, given the options at Seeds, there's still a good amount of variety. There's sandwiches, panini's, salads, pizza, wraps and some daily hot entrees. There's also various choices of cold sandwiches and sushi in the refrigerated section. It'll be nice if they labeled the prices for all their food items, such as the pizza and hot entrees to keep me from guessing. In the end, I ordered the chicken panini and I got to say it was quite tasty especially since it wasn't made till you ordered it. However, for $6.99, it was a bit overpriced for what it is since it's a lot smaller than other panini's I had at other places. There's also extra costs for "extras" or "premium" add ons. Fountain drinks or a small coffee are $1 more when you ordered an entree or sandwich are reasonable (Note: there's only 5 choices of soda from the machine). Unlike what a lot of other reviewers mentioned, the place wasn't packed at all when I came here for lunch around noon. There was only one other person in front of me in line. Credit cards are accepted.
They should work on improving the quality of their foods in correlation to their prices. Very good pricing for breakfast and good preparation of breakfast. Additionally, the formatting of the store is a little confusing and could be more clear.

Got the pesto caprece and it was ok. However the person making it was rude. Rest of staff were fine. Price was on higher side.

I love this place so much and I get food here every day but this is the third time the dude taking my sandwich order has been so obnoxiously rude to me for no reason. Asking for bacon on my sandwich or to change my bread type should not warrant an eye roll and snarky comment. What’s with the attitude😭

$14 for PB&J sandwich. At least cut it in half!
This shops totally sucks on campus. It literally sucks students' money . The cafe gratitu is 11.99... If u know what I'm saying, it's unfair price

The staff is great but the prices are marked up ridiculously high because students are willing to pay. Today I accidentally paid $12.50 for two pieces of soggy bread and some lunch meat. There wasn't even cheese... The only positive thing to come from this is that I have learned to pay closer attention when I am checking out.
Im and African American male and I’ve gone twice and had workers inspect my checkout screen and made sure I was checking out when there were other customers in the store. I asked them why does this happen so often and they said they are there to help despite the fact that I never asked for help. And there were literally other customers having issues that weren’t being attended to. It should be noted that both times the workers were older and not the students
I work at USC and can't believe the ridiculous prices to eat there. I bought a Cobb salad at seeds and they wanted to charge me $2.00 extra for croutons!!! UNBELIEVABLE 😠
Their Meat Lasagna is very bad.. had a hard time actually finishing it despite being hungry.. and definitely not worth the price!
$8 for a Synergy Kombucha. Any other store it’s $4 at most. Disgraceful for an institution that should be serving students.

50% price mark-up simply for the sake of being expensive. Everything is roped off and generally unpleasant experience. Do better
