American Junkie in Hermosa Beach is a must-visit spot for a casual cocktail, lunch or dinner. We stopped by during a beach bike ride and it was the perfect pit stop. This place has great views from their outdoor patio seating. We enjoyed a beer & spicy margarita in the sunshine, with a nice breeze, and lots of people watching. We shared some buffalo wings, which had just the right amount of spice and crunch + the classic cheeseburger which was juicy and cooked to perfection The service was friendly, prompt, and our server was very attentive. The prices are also reasonable given the great views and tasty food. Whether you're strolling the strand, cycling around Hermosa, or just looking for a solid casual dining experience, American Junkie is a great spot!

Had an awesome time here with friends. Food was so good I ate the Mushroom Burger. Coming soon Pic of burger. Tater tots were crispy and warm. Can't leave out the service enjoyed every bit of it. Not to mention the Ping-pong and Dance room.

It's a great place with a nice ambiance The staff is super friendly and the food is actually really good. Great happy hour prices, drinks and food and most importantly right on the pier. Service is awesome and that's what we are all looking for. Oh yeah they make a killer old fashioned and it's on the happy hour menu. Rebecca was the best the greatest in the place. Ask for her. Still a great place to have a drink and food.

First time to Hermosa beach and this restaurant. An amazing place. We opted for outdoor seating and we went for dinner. Food was wonderful. Potato tarts were crispy. Veggie Pizza was awesome and very tasty. Mango Jalapeño Margarita was wonderful. Food was fresh and clean. Lot of Vegetarian options which made it a perfect evening. Service was excellent. Special shout out to Tiffany. Was very kind and patient in taking our orders, serving and constant follow-up to check if we doing good. The attitude and tone of service is highly appreciable. There was dance floor with music in the back and it was a treat. Highly recommend this place if you are visiting Hermosa beach.

Our server Kristine was a sweetheart and her coworker Rafael was so awesome! Great people! And the food was even better! Got shrimp tacos, wings (Buffalo and honey jalapeño), a burger and fries. We enjoyed and ate all of it! Definitely would eat here again and recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Awesome food with plenty of TVs to watch sporting events!! We tried and shared the shrimp and wings and they were excellent. I highly recommend the jalapeno honey wings. It was such a great flavor. Just enough heat and sweet. Nothing over powering. Love the space. Super open with skylights and an open entrance. Friendly service. Really close to the pier. I really liked this place!!

This is a fun place! The drinks are super tasty, super friendly wait staff, and the best chicken tenders and chicken wings I have had in a long time. Both the tenders and wings are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The live music is a nice touch. There is also a ping pong ball table. Definitely would recommend this place for a quick bite!

The vibe and music in this place was really dope. The food isn't too expensive compared to local businesses and it tasted pretty decent. One thing that could improve though is the treatment from the waiters. Wasn't much communication throughout our stay and I was rushed to place my order even though they weren't closing for over an hour. If you want some good American food then I'd definitely try this place out!!!

We showed up during brunch hours on Sunday, and this is a sports bar in Hermosa Beach so we fully expected there to be a crowd of folks watching the game (totally fine with us). What we did not expect was to be treated like we were less important just because we were not watching the game. My friends and I were not given access to a physical menu (also fine with us) so we relied on the digital menu from a QR code at the table - this menu is exactly the same as the one that you can see when you visit their website. For some reason the football game being on TV means that the brunch menu changes? Specifically it means that you cannot order the bottomless mimosas advertised on all of their menus. This did not make sense to us because that is the only part of the menu that changes and that is not specified anywhere. Because that was the reason we chose to go to this business, all I wanted was to ask some clarifying questions to our waitress (Natalie). First, I asked if this was going to be the case during any Sunday sporting event, which would mean that this item is pretty much never available, and she said she didn't know (that is fair, not a big deal). The problem was that this was the reason we came, but we decided to give you our business any way and just try other things your menu had to offer. Unfortunately, after this interaction Natalie could not be compelled to treat us with any decency. I tried to ask her another question, and she walked away in the middle of my sentence without a word. I'm sure its easy to read this and feel like I gave her a distasteful attitude that provoked this response, but to that all I can say is that I highly value members of the service industry work force and still tipped her 20% because that is what I believe in. I asked the question again when she brought us our food because I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, and even though I got a response this time it was less than polite. During our meal she rarely checked on us, and at no point did she even attempt to make suggestions from the menu that may have been a good substitute for the mimosas we came for. I don't work in the food industry, and I don't know what the policies and/or management roles are at your business, but my only suggestions would be to advertise recurring changes to the menu that are influenced by specific events (I feel like you could easily specify on your menu that mimosas are not served during sporting events), and maybe encourage a more professional approach to questions among your staff. I can tell you I would not have chosen your business for our outing if I had known about this menu change, and I can say this this experience makes me unlikely to choose your business over the many other in the area. Beyond that, all I can say is that I hope any of this information matters to you or your management team.

Bartenders are skimming money off the top. Ordered three 805 drafts paying cash. First beer $7. Second beer $9, third beer $10. Once I complained about the price difference bar tender said she made a mistake $9. The owner managers need to look into this scam their employees are doing.

There was no reason for the bad service other than a substandard expectation. First I couldn’t get my beer because the waitress couldn’t remember what I ordered. Then it took so damn long to get a bill, then another 10 minutes.to come back with my credit card so I could actually sign and pay. The manager was standing within 5 feet of me the whole time as I asked over and over again for service at every step. This was a Friday night with max 50% capacity.
