My favorite Starbucks to go to. Very conveniently located. I highly suggest to use the app to purchase your coffee so that you can take advantage of the points and free drinks they offer. My kids love the frappacinos there and cake pops.
I'm hooked on the Komodo Dragon dark roast beans. Been buying it for a long time and it's always consistently delicious! Plus, the treats there are good. Lemon loaf is one of my faves.

the service here is pretty great and I only had the wrong drink once their human beings so I dont blame them although I swear some of the customers that come in 😂😂 have no idea what their ordering like I want a pokemon drink like dear lord they have stated many times before you need a recipe in order to get those drinks their not normal drink items just felt like saying that because people like that really take their time in the line not understanding but service here is pretty good I have nothing to complain
Loved getting a treat after a stressful week. The staff was friendly, quick, efficient, and thorough. Drive thru is awesome! I know that some things are out of stock, but they posted a sign on the drive thru menu so it is helpful to have at least 2 choices in mind.
Kari is very nice, makes good effort to communicate with customers and that’s a great thing to see rather than a bland “okay your order will be over there”. She also makes sure my guava white tea lemonade has sweetener in it which many Starbucks location forget to do. Everyone at the Addison Starbucks really makes their store look amazing and feel like a real & safe & good place to go to for your Morning drink/food. 10/10.

Favorite Starbucks in this area. Me and my boyfriend go to this one from Carol Stream instead of all the others. They are a friendly sweet bunch of people. Also I'm that person with the complicated technical order and they have made it perfectly every time. They also have wireless chargers at the tables!
What can I say it's Starbucks, they have some of the best coffee creations EVER and this location has some of the most pleasant people at 7am, lol. No seriously, they are ALWAYS so very nice and personable! ❤️ No complaints here!
I was in the area and stopped here to get an iced tea. Grabbed my drink and needed to use the bathroom and the barista offered to hold my drink for me. Store was clean. Parking lot is really tight. Editing my original review-i was back in the area recently and thought I was placing my order here but placed it at the wrong sbux. I walked in here thinking it was correct but I quickly realized I was wrong. I explained to the cashier what happened and they made me my drink no prob. I apologized profusely but (I'm guess was maybe the shift supervisor??) said no prob is happens all the time. Outstanding customer service. If I lived in the area, I'd come to this sbux all the time.
The drinks were always wonderful. We went through the drive through. Because it was by 1 get 1. We get 6 drinks. We asked to have a time. Can you get more than one free? They said yes. When we got up to the window, that wasn't true. If we knew that we would have paid separately. We love going to Starbucks And I wanted to treat my parents. Since I missed my mom's birthday because of the weather.
First time here after a few years, but it was pleasant. Staff was very nice. Although the cashier didn't place my order right, the barista fixed it on her end. If I lived closer, it would be my location of choice. The drive through get busy though.
I love going to Starbucks I usually always go to the one by my house but when Iam at other locations I see I go in and check them out as well. I was at a Starbucks in the city where the manager was phoenix and I was such in a rich I didn't have my card on me I only had a S.B. GIFT CARD and there was only a couple bucks on it and he asked what I wanted anyway so I told him the drink and he even went and gave me Xtra toasted bagel w blueberries and a large water pulse my large frappuccino I wanted for free which he didn't not have to do great guy and manager thanks again phoenix.
The Addison location is great! Everyone is there to make your day better, and our drinks are always perfect! The barista's and team do a wonderful job. Even with a daily early morning rush the team handles it with a smile.
I love my Starbucks...generally you're going to get pretty much the same quality cup of coffee at any location, BUT this one is my favorite because of the excellent staff. I often will go a bit out of the way to go to this specific location. They're always so welcoming; friendly greetings, helpful with suggestions, interesting quick chats if my order is still being prepared by the time I get to the window - especial Laura/Lara (not sure of the spelling). Makes me feel like I got a coffee from a friend.

Got right in and out. For some reason my coffee wasn't "coffee hot" but it was quick. Other than the high price I loved it still.

Was kind of slow the couple times I've been to this location, but I don't blame the workers, sbux like to understaff and overwork their employees. I would go to this location again.
Starbucks is Starbucks, however this Itacsa location does not earn 5 stars because of the consistently slow service during weekday mornings. Wait time is often 10+ minutes in the drive up with only 5 to 6 cars in line. Just make sure you have plenty of time before getting in line.
This is a pretty good Starbucks. The people are always very nice here and they make a really good drink. For some reason, the green tea frappuccino is just a little bit better here.
Hey there, Since Starbucks added vertical clover machines I'm hopeful again about the future. I hope they can add reserve brewed coffee to the menu.

This is a fairly ok Starbucks, the store is average and he employees too. Not a big Starbucks and pretty crowded at times. Not the cleanest but fairly clean. The parking around issues store is kinda painful at busy hours and the drive through can take a while in rush hours.. otherwise it’s nice to have a Starbucks right there..
Girls were nice, food was good and drinks were perfect. Only thing is that my order was ready and they didn’t call me so I sat there waiting for a long time. When I asked about my order the girl said “it’s been ready” how about oh I’m sorry we didn’t let you know, here it is!!
They’re usually quick, but they tend to add too much milk. If you order from here let them know to lessen on the milk.

This guy in early 20s with a monotone voice with some young girl in glasses by the drive through will laugh at what you order. Makes me feel uncomfortable. I don't mind coming here when they're not working.
They gotta fix the logistics of the drive thru. Its very complicated when the line gets long and blocks the road behind the building. Figure out whats the correct line when ppl are waiting so none of us fight each other to get our spot in line lol. Coffee and service is good.
I tried to order two things and they couldn't make either one: Impossible and carmel. Had to order a different drink and they totally tried to sell me a mess of other things like the sous vide eggs and every other sandwich. Dude, I'm a vegetarian and the driver; my options at super mega evil coffee shop are very limited. There is one marginally healthy thing on the menu and after sitting in the drive-thru lane behind seven cars and you don't have that one option, well, disappointed doesn't really cover it.
The drinks are always consistent which is good. All Baristas I have come across are friendly. The only thing that really turned me off is one time going through the drive thru I saw a Barista making an iced drink. She got coffee on the rim of the cup and she licked it off. I just hope she was making the drink for herself. Yuck. Unsanitary!!!

This is my go to Starbucks and the service and emplyees are great - last few times have had issues with drinks I ordered. This morning I received a Macha Grance iced Latte with NO ice - din't realize it till I was back on the road. I know there are many drinks to learns and oerfect - but NO ice in my iced Latte ?
I stopped coming here because of a certain barista/manager…extremely rude and entitled, her name is Brittany. I’ve recently heard she was let go, thanks goodness, I will be retuning.
I got more ice than coffee in my drink? And it wasn't like it was busy either my friend also ordered an iced coffee aswell and he had way less ice than me so idk the employees that took our order looked annoyed by our presence it was pretty weird
Originally was gonna give it 1 star but the staff is nice and the drinks are above average here. The biggest problem is the line here. They either have the slowest workers or this is the busiest Starbucks ever.
9/10 your coffee will taste different every time no matter what. And 10/10 they sound like they don’t want to be there no matter hour simple/nice you are. I’ve been a cross the country and never experienced such terrible service/quality from a Starbucks as this one.
I agree with some of the other reviewers there is not really any customer service at this location. Not a friendly smiling face in the place at all. The girl at the register didn’t really look like she wanted to be there. I ordered a vanilla cold brew but then asked for extra sweet cream she got a really annoyed look on her face then let the other barista know. She looks like she would be better off working at Hot Topic but not in food service
So they remodel it and it's just a to-go place. No place to sit down, no bathroom which I thought was illegal because if you're selling food products there should be the ability to wash your hands. There used to be a lot of great diversity with different Uber and Lyft drivers going here like myself kind of like a taxi hang out. They took that away from us. Update, received feedback that I should contact the care unit which makes absolutely no sense unless they can put in tables and chairs and remodel again and add a bathroom?
Very hit or miss. I always order online, and somehow rarley get exactly what I ordered. It's upsetting, paying this much money to sometimes have the correct order. Today I ordered online, as usual. My one drink order seemed normal and fine. The other was not even full and the bill was $10. Not worth my time anymore. Every drink is notoriously underpoured. It got to the point where my drink had almost 2 inches of foam on it. I started to ask for no foam and yet again the cup still wasn't full.
Waited 15 minutes in the drive through for a venti green tea lemonade that was 99% ice. Did it really take you 15 minutes to fill a cup with ice?
Been here multiple times, 9/10 times they get my drinks wrong. Wait time is always longer than usual. Then to top it off they give me inactive cards for messing up my drinks. Bad service!
Went through the drive thru and ordered a spinach feta wrap. The girl on the drive thru was very curt and her tone was rude and aggressive. Although service was quick, it felt impersonal. When I thanked her for my food, there was no reply. Now the food: The spinach and feta wrap is little more than a glorified hot pocket. It was clearly frozen and reheated, since it had cold and soggy spots in it. For over $4.00 this is an absolute rip off.
RACIST staff is extremely RUDE to minorities. I asked for a white mocha skinny and got the biggest attitude from the 19 year old metro - kid working the counter. he said they don't make "skinny" drinks here. While I was waiting I heard an older white lady ask for a skinny carmel machiatto and he didn't say anything about not making skinny drinks to her. This location is horrible service and racist. I went strait to the kid and told him I want my money back, he gave me attitude. so I asked for he manager and the even more so metrosexual punk 20 year old manager gave me attitude while he was giving me money back. I replied with some extremely rude comments off my own and told the African American couple going in that they only cater to white people here and they went to a different location as well. DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION.

Google and app states store was open at 5:30 so I placed a mobile order at 6:20. Upon arrival front doors were locked and no one answered drive through. Staff walk in after 30 minutes. Online customer support was very slow and it was difficult to get refund.
Got 2 ice mocha machiattos today and ask for 1 with wheap cream and I got both same way and when I complaint they just scoop out the wheap cream my daughter it's vegan so she just tossed, bad service very slow, that's why I stop going like I use to do it before.
I dread having to come to this location. They are always slow and the customer service is always subpar. On more than one occassion they've made my drink wrong and always seem bothered when I ask for it to be corrected. Im confused....I thought I was the customer?
Stopped by this location to get drinks at the drive thru for my daughter and myself. I noticed after waiting in line for sometime that the vehicles in front of me started to slowly drive away. I pulled up to the drive thru speaker and no one asked to help me total silence. Finally someone said "The drive thru is closed. You'll need to come inside" There was no sign saying the drive thru was closed on the large menu board where you give your order. No large sign in the traffic lane indicating the drive thru was closed. Just lots of people waiting in line, getting frustrated and driving off. Very poor customer service.
This place is the worst, to begin I ordered 5 mango dragon fruit drinks which looked like water inside a cup, because they did not have the purple fruit that gives the color, I tried to be understanding, I ordered 2 more drinks (Mocha). When I arrived at the window and tried to pay, I was told they would not accept my money ($100 dollar bill), I asked why, and got no explanation. At that moment I did not know what to expect from them, I tried to pay again with a $50 dollar bill and the cashier said "I'm not sure if we take $50 dollar bills also". By that point I was losing my cool. After some drama they took my money and asked me if I wanted a cup holder for my 7 drinks and me being a human with only 2 hands replied "Yes please". I'm not sure if I want to return to this location. This was a bad experience and definitely unforgettable.
Ask for the bag instead of the cup holder for the 4 drinks , she’s told me usually people take the cup holder and put on the floors mat , I think she suppose to tell me take the cup holder and put seatbelt for the drinks that’s make more sense lolzzz …and the way of her eyes show the annoy look I can tell , never did the review this is my first time review after they’re remodel went 3 times and my fourth I decided you know what this Starbucks deserve my bad review 🤣😂
I've been here many times before and the service was ok...but recently the baristas are terrible. Last time I was here, I placed a mobile order (cin dolce latte) and took me about 15 min to arrive. Upon arrival my order wasnt ready. The barista didn't even acknowledge I was waiting. Took her about 10 min to make my order (INCORRECTLY) didn't apologize for taking FOREVER and when I told her my order was wrong she became upset and walked away. A different barista remade my drink who was equally as rude as the first barista. I mean if u don't like ur job then get a different job. Don't be rude. I will definitely not be spending my money here anymore!!
Can't even get coffee at this location. 75% of the time my $7 drink is not right because their machine does not make shots correctly. I get coffees with four shots that taste like they don't even have coffee in them. My wife is the one who pointed this out to me she should know she worked for Starbucks for 10 years
Bad service.....I came with my Mom and ordered two hot drinks. I was waiting for the girl who took my order to tell me that our coffees were ready, but she never did. What surprised me the most is that after a while she took other girls to their table and that's when I asked where our drinks were? She told me that they were waiting on the other counter for a while, however nobody ever said anything. I am a Latina and I felt very discriminated against. The name of te girl is Ashley...
They are never prepared, they don't pay attention to their inventory. I order via the app once I show up for pick they don't have my items it happened three times. I didn't have that problem before not sure if they're under new management.
Thursday 12/5 my boyfriend and I went to this Starbucks for the buy one get one free deal that they have every Thursday this month. He ordered a large Pink Drink and I ordered a large Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte. Both drinks were watered down and tasted bad. The next day him and I were both in bed sick with food poisoning. It lasted 24 hours. Never going there again.
I have been to this locations twice. I have had to wait after placing my order over 25 mins. The first time they gave me the wrong coffee. This second time I waited and got to the window and they didn’t even have my drink ready. So since I’m on my lunch I left with nothing. Horrible location
I am so disappointed in this Starbucks on Lake Street in Addison. I get there is reconstruction and new renovation, but the original sign said they would be open today and they are 100% still demolished. At least keep customers updated accurately so we don’t drive out of or way on the day it’s supposed to be reopen. And in fact, this reconstruction doesn’t look like it’ll be finished for another month. You've lost all my service moving forward.
Always have a really good experience at this Starbucks but the lady that just took my order and payment was very rude and racist. That’s not an acceptable service
Barista Jonelle very rude and unprofessional. I understand as a customer service representative we make mistakes but she was very rude. Not once did I have an attitude with but she definitely did. I placed my order through the Drive Thru I asked for a Venti Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. She asked again what drink was it I repeated it and she did as well. Once I got to the window, and she handed me the drink I told her the drink was a Venti not a Grande. Barista Jonelle got super upset and said she put in on the screen. That Screen didn’t stay for that long up there. Overall very rude and unprofessional. It’s upsetting because I’ve never came across someone like this at this specific Starbucks.
I will be avoiding this location at all costs. The employees here are rude and seem to legit hate customers. I recently lived in Glendale Heights so the location on Army Trail and Bloomingdale was where I frequented and they were amazing!! I loved all the baristas there, they were always so welcoming and friendly. In addition they always got my drink right. This location has messed up my drinks multiple times and when I politely asked them to fix it, it appeared they were annoyed (their facial expressions say it all) and then messed my drink up again! I am frustrated because this location is closest to the home we purchased so now I just go out of my way to visit the location on North Ave because I cannot deal with how anxious this location gets me with their mistakes and then attitude when it's brought to their attention.
Got a double espresso and a bacon egg gouda ciabatta. $11. The bread was so chewy all the ingredients shot out the back.. The bacon was wiggly and undercooked.. Last they need to dial in their espresso. It was so bad I threw it away.. Yikes.. Better off with a gas station breakfast
i always come here in the mornings, never have an issue till today in the afternoon . barista took my order, i ordered two ventis and three grandes and she asked if the screen was good which i said yes (my mistake) however she tried handing me one of the venti drinks saying i said grande, i said “oh my gosh im so sorry i meant venti” and she goes “you said grande” and looked upset. i did hear her tell one of the workers “now she wants a venti” all annoyed. okay i was never rude, never gave her attitude i apologized which i didn’t have to. but it’s so unprofessional to talk about someone like that why couldn’t she wait till i left? i never had issue till now don’t know her name but she was way too grown than the rest working that shift. she later says “next time look at the screen so this never happens again” like what. i work in customer service and that was so unprofessional everyone else is so nice though . hopefully i never have this issue with the same person again.
UPDATE: It was recently converted to a pick-up location…..in Addison?!?! Not Chicago or any busy metropolitan area. ADDISON!! How does this make sense? For a company that talks a big game about it being a 4th place for customers, this remodel is the complete opposite of it. It was a lovely cafe, that was also remodeled not too long ago, that had a great vibe. You took that away because…why? This was a good Starbucks. The atmosphere is spacious and has that classic Starbucks feel. But the service is either hit or miss. I've ordered drinks here several times, and its either a hit or a miss. I remember having to teach a partner how to make a drink that I ordered. I hated doing it, but somebody needs to train the partners more properly on the bar. If they could fix that, the Addison Starbucks would be a great store.
I came here today with my friend on our lunch break to order cold brews. When ordering, the partner rudely interrupted me multiple times. I understand not being able to hear as I am a partner and get it can be difficult to hear people in the drive thru, but she was rudely cutting me off at every other word. I think her name was Jade, she had red hair. Then at the window, I let her know that I have partner numbers. She talked down on me extremely condescendingly to let me know that I should have a partner card. They don't even send those out anymore! I have been a partner for 8 years and have NEVER encountered an issue with this. My driver's license matches my name that comes up with my partner numbers. I didn't bother arguing with her because quite frankly I was shocked that a partner would speak to another partner this rudely. If you are this rude to a partner, I cannot IMAGINE how rude and awful you are to other customers. I am having a very stressful day as I am moving across the country tomorrow morning, and I just wanted a pick-me-up. My brain is fried so maybe I was a bit slow with my order, but I am genuinely shocked at this treatment.
The customer service here is horrible! I went back in because my drink was made wrong & the bald guy with the black shirt button up shirt and beard was SO RUDE! He snatched the drink from me while I was explaining it to him & just walked away. He had a horrible attitude when HE DIDN’T EVEN HAVE TO REMAKE THE DRINK. He told the girl on bar to do it. She was rude as well by giving me dirty looks when she gave me my drink back. I think this location needs to issue training on customer service ASAP because it was HORRIBLE!
Bald worker was extremely rude!!! Didn’t know it was a pickup only and he shook his head and walked away from me. I thought Starbucks number one priority was customer connection. Seems like a lot of these reviews are poor attitudes from the employees. How are they still open😂
Worst location to go to. Only 1 counter to order and the girl at cash register was busy gossiping with one of her friend/customer for 20 minutes while we had to wait to order. Where's the management at ?
Wouldn’t let me do zero stars... the slowest Starbucks in the nation I've ever been to. &they have the most rude girl working the drive-thru. Worth the drive to the surrounding towns locations. Also this is my first review, my experience was so bad I had to make an account to share the knowledge.

I live & work within 5 minutes of this Starbucks and have given them many opportunities yet I am disappointed in the amazingly slow service in the drive thru. It doesn't matter what the day of the week or time of day I go, the service is REALLY slow. The other issue that I have is that they run out of product. Three times now I have ordered the reduced fat bacon sandwich and they have not had it. I have brought up my concerns to the both the manager as well as the district manager yet the service has not improved. I love Starbucks and spend a lot of money here. I truly want this location to "step it up" since it is so close to me. Come on management, you can do it!!
They couldn't break a 50$ bill which makes no sense with how much cash they bring in, and to top it all of I have kidney disease, I'm not allowed dairy which so ever, so they put milk in my coffee. Few people are really nice but rest of them don't have a clue.
My mobile order said it would be ready 3-7 minutes, but it was not ready do go until 23 minutes after I placed the order. 3 people were waiting a long time for their mobile orders. One special person walked in with me, passed the pick up counter, walked to the order, counter got her drink and left. She was in and out. Once I finally got my drink I noticed my customizations were ignored and I ended up with a drink I didn’t even like with no time to return it. I will not be back to this location. The one on North and Kingery has way faster and better service and the customers are treated equally. They are busier, but they don’t wait for you to arrive and wait before they start making the mobile orders. I am always in and out that one.
EXACTY SAME COFFE ORDER. Photo on the right incorrect photo on the left correct. I asked for it to be remade because it was incorrect as you can tell STILL INCORRECT!!! I order very specific and PAY A VERY GOOD AMOUNT FOR MY COFFEE. For it to come wrong TWICE is honestly unacceptable to me. I was made late to work and a coffee I paid 15.99 went straight to the trash.

they’re friendly enough here but they have a remarkable ability to mess up even the simplest of orders here, the things i’ve received instead of a black coldbrew are bewildering.
The lady working the drive-through this morning could have been a little more friendly and welcoming. I approached the window with a smile to pick up my birthday drink. Although she was wearing a black mask and I couldn’t tell if she was smiling, she didn’t say hello or greet me. I said, “Hi, good morning” to her, but she ignored me. When I told her I had greeted her, her only response was “yeah.” I understand we all have bad days, but someone who isn’t people-friendly shouldn’t be placed at the window interacting with customers. Experiences like this are disappointing and make me hesitant to return. Next time, I’ll probably drive a little further to get coffee.
Worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Worst customer service I've ever witnessed. They ignore anyone who walks in so don't waste your time. Oh and they repeatedly get the drinks wrong. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND worth 0 stars across the board.
My last experience at this particular Starbucks location was extremely unpleasant. I went to order a venti pink drink but requested for it to be split into two grande cups. However, I was told that it was a store policy that they no longer offer this option. I found this policy to be questionable since there was no line at the store, and I was the only customer there for a good 7 minutes. The barista who helped us at the window had a condescending and prejudiced attitude, making the experience even worse. It seemed like she had a problem doing her job and giving customers a positive experience due to her entitled demeanor. It's important for Starbucks to ensure that their employees treat all customers with respect and are not misusing policies that may hinder their ability to provide good customer service. I took the time to research this policy and understand the reasoning behind it, but it would be beneficial for Starbucks to reconsider and provide clearer guidelines for their employees. This would ensure a consistent and inclusive experience for all customers, regardless of their appearance or background. In situations where the policy does not apply, employees should be able to accommodate reasonable requests like mine without pushback. This will ultimately result in happier customers and a better overall experience at Starbucks locations.
This was already one of my least favorite Starbucks. Afternoon and evening crew are not friendly. Now they changed it to pickup only, they want no one to linger there or use the restrooms anymore. So unwelcoming. Can’t see what they’re doing in the back. Saw a bunch of flies going in and out of someone’s food that was ready for pickup. When I got my drink they come to see who you are but didn’t greet or say a word to me. Take the extra time to drive to another Starbucks
All of the employees looked so annoyed to be there and annoyed that we did not put an online order. I thought maybe this person is having a bad day. Nope, it was every single person that was working in that establishment. After seeing the third person with an attitude in there we felt so uncomfortable even being there. I ordered a brown sugar oat shaken espresso. It was made with classic syrup. My friends coffee was most likely made with regular milk instead of almond since she got sick right after. I don’t like complaining so I just kept my coffee the way it was made. But this was just such an unpleasant exchange.
