Actually I was surprised that this was a memorable dining experience. First of all the CDC guidelines are adhered to stringently, then the young lady hostess was truly handling the drive-thru window as well as the counter and doing it professionally Then there was my meal cooked to order and full of flavor.. Store#31831 Ordered 8 piece grilled shrimp. Ruth took my order she was extremely professional and the most important part was she repeated my order and got it memorable and correctly. As I proceeded to the window Sarai was also professional and pleasant. The service was superb and quick. The food was hot and delicious!!!

I went thru the drive thru a few evenings ago and my food was so fresh ! I fish and shrimp platter !! placed a large order and both me and my man agreed it was delicious and hot . It stayed hot thru a 25min drive to Hollywood!!! Thanks y'all !!

Haven't been here in years and decided to try it out. We'll let's say my fish and chicken was drowning in oil. Flavor is no longer what it use to be. I couldn't finsh the food. All other items (rice,corn, hush puppies were good)

This is literally the only Long John's left in South Florida and is well worth the drive. I always love the food here. Platter's are fairly priced and the food is always cooked fresh. I absolutely love the cook she is an Icon and queen, she seems like she's mean but please know she's the only one holding this location down and runs a tight ship. She cooks something fierce while looking fierce. I come to this location for her and the amazing food she makes. The young man at the counter that took our order was friendly and attentive. For the other young man that came in 30min late please be mindful of your fellow staff and guests, your tardiness held up the drive through and Dine in, but luckily the young man that took our Dine in order held the rush down like a champ. Thank you for your amazing guest service. My only complaint is that this location is dated and in disrepair. The employees and guests deserve a nicer restroom. The dining area needs their lamps repaired some of the lighting fixtures are damaged and dangling from loose wiring. But other than that this location is always clean and food is always on point. Again worth the drive for some good fish fry! Thank you! Hope to see a location re-open in Miami we desperately need one.

Went on Mother's Day going back today the food is spontaneous. I have to travel to Broward county cause they closed the one down here in Miami. I wish they can please open up another location in Miami even tho the one in Broward is perfect. Just wish I can have one closer to me

I was skeptical with a few of the reviews and I decided to give it a shot. Let me tell you my fish and fries were hot crispy and delicious! The staff were polite and friendly when they took my order. I went a second time and experienced the same quality service. This location is one of the very FEW Long John Silver chains in the South Florida are remaining and standing strong let’s support it!

It's hard to find a LJS these days, but this is a good one. The food is great and always hot which is critical for fish and chips. Love it!

I love the chicken at Long John Silver’s and when I go to the restaurants I always get decent sized chicken ! Every time I’ve ordered Uber Eats / Door Dash I literally get super small pieces of chicken that look like scraps- some of them barely have any chicken in them!! I rarely complain about food but I spend $30 using Uber Eats and Door Dash and feel like I didn’t eat!!

I ordered inside - Dine-In Area: IMMACULATE/CLEAN Service: FRIENDLY/ACCOMODATING Food: DELICIOUS, HOT (temp-wise), CRISPY and this is AFTER arriving at my destination as it was take-out. Food is cooked FRESH, larger orders will take a bit longer - BUT SO WORTH IT. Enjoy!!!!

One taste that has never changed is the flavor of the fish at Long John Silver’s. This particular restaurant was clean and the staff were kind and courteous.

Bro, I was so mad when they close the one and Hialeah like I was like your why I was getting it back to back. At least put one at Liberty City. I know it's going to be packed though, but it's going to be worth it. But like if I was rich right now, I would have bought one.

I have not been here in years because they closed the ones in Palm Beach County. But, I love Long John Silvers. I had the baked salmon dinner and my sister had the Shrimp and fries and the food was delicious. The service was great also. I will definitely be going back.

I got to tell you for fast food chains. This is one of the nicest, cleanest, best service places I've been to every time I go, I'm driving from Pompano, just to get the food. The service is great, Willie is amazing and the staff that they have is also amazing wish they had more ppl but they do a phenomenal job, I highly recommend.

Oh Long John Silver (LJS)! I’ve been eating at this location for about 10 years since I moved to Broward and I have to admit the change I’ve seen these past few years from the Ownership just brings warmth to my hospitality heart. It first started with the Customer Service and each time the drive thru and dine in was a better experience. Then over the past year the food quality got even better. The tables were cleaned almost immediately and while the building is on the more outdated side love is still put into it. Best of all no employees on cell phones all engaged in work! Today’s visit took this LJS location to another level when a gentleman in a long black dress shirt and wearing a LJS hat who I presumed was part of Ownership/Management walked around knowing everyone’s orders and striking up conversations with each table. I took notice of the faces and it almost seemed like each person was not only surprised but were in appreciation…almost as if they needed this brief encounter to break away from whatever they had going on in their life. A moment like this gives me hope not just for the LJS brand but for the community as a whole.

I don't know how they do it here the rest of the day, but when I was here at 3:30 p.m. they were doing it for real! This was the best Long John Silver's fish and more platter that I have had in many years. Keep doing what you're doing yall, that was excellent 👏

We drive 20 miles to the Oakland Park location quite often. It's one of our favorite restaurants. As with ANY restaurant, sometimes the food isn't as great as others, but most always, it's the absolute best. We've talked with many customers who have been meeting friends for lunch at LJS for 'litterally' decades. We highly recommend the LJS at Oakland Park.

Our experience at LJS was phenomenal. Our server, Denise was kind & made sure our meals were hot and fresh. The Tartar Sauce had a weird, but delicious spicy kick to it. The Fish- Oh My Gosh! Words can’t explain the texture and flavor of both the Deep fat fried fish, and the Chips. Hushpuppies were hot, and as soft as normal hushpuppies should be. The seats were firm, and comfy. I am definitely going back here.

Being from the mid west, I grew up eating Long John Silvers. There are so few locations still in business that I was tickled pink to find this store. I drove from Miami for a 3 piece with slaw, fries and extra crumbs! It was delicious!! Everything I remember it to be. The store was clean. The bathroom was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this store and fully expect to visit it one more time before I head home next week.

LJS is a rare treat since there are none near my home. The chicken planks hot from the fryer are simply amazing. Love the nautical decor including the bell. The only thing missing is the classic wooden gangway out front of the store. Today I am as happy as a seagull with a french fry!

I went here for a quick fried fish and shrimp meal. I fish are good size. The chicken filet is filling. The shrimp are a nice addition. I like to get an extra fish and/crab cake. The grilled shrimp Al a carte is also good. The grilled seafood meals are another option with less gluten due to no breading. The drink is diet code. Overall good

What's up googlers just wanted to tell you guys how much of a great lunch I had at Long John silver's, I walked inside to a very clean restaurant with some table still closed due to covid respecting everybody's space the restaurant itself wasn't packed when I got in there I was the only one eating eventually a family walked in and three more customers , there were about five cars at the drive-thru... So it was a steady consistency flow. I ordered the two piece 🐟🐠, it came with french fries a fountain soda drink and two signatures Long John silver hush puppies the food was so delicious you have to check out my YouTube channel for the food eating review... The fries were perfectly cooked very well seasoned I love the color that they had almost a reddish gold brownish color, I have to talk about the two piece fish it was so big the size of my hand I was only able to eat one and I had to take one to go home and of course how can I not talk about my favorite the reason why I came to Long John silver's was for the hush puppies once I ate then I automatically remember that taste when I was a little kid delicious so good, I want to give special thanks to a woman named Samantha this girl was at the drive-thru taking orders taking orders of customers inside the building and walking to the back and cooking some food or help packaging the food up to go incredible work ethic this woman has, also super friendly customer service was absolutely professional and friendly... Food always comes out super fresh even though it's considered fast food. I drive 30 min just to eat this since there isn't any near me. They are very under staffed which delayed the good, but still fresh. Feel like it could be cleaner in there too.

Yep I’m giving Long John Silvers 4 stars. It was honestly almost 5 but the hush puppies were a bit dried out. For a solid and simple meal of fish and chips this is our go to place. They cook it fresh (probably from frozen but it’s still good), the fries are good and they give you malt vinegar, simple and great. I will say we’ve tried the chicken here too and hated it, but who orders chicken from Long John Silvers?

Ok, so not the Long John's that I grew up with as the food was hot and tasty ... the inside of the restaurant was remodeled, clean, and welcoming, and the staff really pleasant. They've got online coupons that make it pretty dang affordable .... It was a great surprise!

LJS has always been a go to when wanting chicken planks. I’m not a fan of seafood but their planks are really good. I always ask for extra crumbles too. I’ll be hitting the gym hard tomorrow! This place is currently under construction and the humidity was really high making it a bit uncomfortable to eat. Service was great, and food was a great temperature.

I've walked in once and remaining times have been through drive thru. Love the hushpuppies! I would suggest that they don't leave food out under the lamp for so long. I got the chicken basket last time and the chicken was not as freshly cooked. Overall, the people are nice and I will return.

Food was good. Staff was in need of assistance. Girl at the front did not get the orders right. She needed extra training. Fish taco was good. Should let me know my meal does not come with a drink if i am ordering to dine in. I had to place a 2nd order for a drink.

I am a big fan of LJS, but they've made changes that has TOTALLY changed the experience! First... they've started charging for condiments like cocktail sauce (even when you order shrimp), malt vinegar, etc,They do give Free tartar sauce! The dining area seems sterile and unwelcoming! The employees seem like they really don't want to be there, except to get their paychecks! I sure hope they change things baçk to how they were! Especially, please give

The food was good. Only thing that bother me, we had three meals. They wanted to give us only 8 condiments limit. I am not sure if that is per meal or group. Either way it is not even. That can not be divided evenly. I do not know about you all, but I use condiments on my fish, shrimp and fries. That will not due. Never was charged before.

I've not been in a while, but this building is very tired and falling apart. Ordered the 6 piece fish and 6 piece chicken from order to receiving my food in drive through was around 15mins with only on vehicle in front of me...food was good but too long to wait.

I remember the first time I tasted LJS as a child. It was one of the best foods I'd ever tasted. But, that was in New York and many many years ago. Fast forward 40 years and miles of geography and it brings me to my experience today. I was craving LJS ever since I saw it's coupon in my newspaper. I waited and anticipated my visit. Wow, was I disappointed! The service was blah and the food was worse. My coleslaw was dry (Yes, dry coleslaw). The fish, albeit, not greasy it was very dry as well. The chicken was good, the hush puppies were gummy and the fries were fries. But, I went there for some good fish. And that, I didn't get. I think I'll tuck my childhood memory away as well as this experience and look for another place to satisfy my adult cravings. Whatever happened to LJS? Perhaps, GONE with Radio Shack. Bye Bye LJS.

I don't seem to be earning reward points anymore. My points have been stuck at the same amount, 565 for weeks, despite placing new orders in the mobile app.

They only had two people working and even though they weren't busy it was impossibly slow to get everything. Also the person taking orders was handling the drive-thru and the front counter and went from taking money to serving food without ever cleaning her hands. The food was way greasier than even is normal for a Long John Silver's and it tasted like the oil was old. On the plus side the inside of the restaurant looked nice. 😊

Not worth the money at all. Used to be really good, but you can get a whole shrimp boil, seasoned well…for the $20 I paid for this food. Just wasn’t worth it. And tastes like it was cooked in old oil.

I went to Long John Silver's to get a BOGO offer on one of their platters after I got a coupon offer that was sent to me from their company. I tried to order on line but it said they would only delivery the meal by one of the many delivery services. I did not want to pay the delivery fee and I wanted to sit down and eat at the restaurant. I decided to drive to Long John Silver's and pay for it there. When I was almost there I had a mild accident with another car. When I got away from the accident, some 2 hours later. I proceeded to the Long John Silver's location only find that the store was temporarily closed. Not my best day.

Order here after seeing an advertisement online, The presentation did not look like what I seen but however the food was OK but I would not re-order. The place was empty and dead as if no one hasn’t been there in a very long time. I went to order the coconut shrimp which was fried fresh but I believe was frozen prior as I bit into the shrimp hot water or oil pops into my mouth.. fish was fresh, fries was warm, hush puppies cold. Not for me. Staff isn’t too friendly either.

I am a door dasher and I went to pick up an order for a customer at your Oakland park Blvd location. When I arrived all the doors were locked and there was two lady employees inside taking another young lady’s order when I asked why were all the doors locked and that I was there to pick up a door dash order showing my phone screen and signaling them they waved me off saying I had to go wait in there drive thru line of approximately 6-7 cars. Door dash has strict rules regarding picking up an order and waiting in a line of any sort is not instructed. They locked the drive through window after I requested the managers name and store number. They are operating the business location and handling LJS customers like they are worthless and they are doing whatever they want to do in the store I don’t understand their behavior let alone why all the doors were locked almost three hours if not more before closing time I really hope something is done about this and it’s just not a waste of text because someone unfortunately either didn’t get their food or was extremely inconvenienced getting it later than they had to those ladies certainly need to reprimanded for that behavior because it was unnecessary and I’m sure not the representation LJS WANTS TO HAVE IN THE COMMUNITY NOR WITH DOOR DASH THE COMPANY. The food is usually good. To bad they don’t put their own hot sauce and malt vinegar out anymore! The worst part is the way it’s being ran. Plenty times going by it’s closed before closing, the inside is closed before closing and majority of the employees are just down right rude. What did it for me was dining in last week at about 8:30 this girl comes to the dining area and yells announcement we are closed. My husband responds with are you telling us to leave? She says yes you need to wrap it up. It was very awkward and aggressive! We had no plans on staying over night we were actually almost done. That was one of the rudest and strangest expertises that I ever had. I have never in my life even heard of such a thing from any establishment. It’s a real shame that the employees are trying to send this company into extinction, there are hardly any locations left…

I just don't think waiting thirty minutes in the drive through for two pieces of chicken qualifies this for fast food.

It was horrible. My chicken wasn't done. My french fries were very very dark. They were not good. Everything was lukewarm. I will blog on here every single day until they fix it.

I ordered a combo meal. I was dining inside the restaurant. As I was finishing my food, I noticed there was a piece of hair. I threw away my bag and informed the cashier. The cashier told the manager. She said she can't refund me without the food in present. I took the food out of the garbage and the hair was gone. Now she made me feel guilty. She said she's not going to refund me. I am certainly positive I saw hair. There was nothing she can do to refund me. I did not enjoy my experience here especially when I have to pull something out of the trash. Hygiene quality is very poor. I should not have thrown away the food in the trash. I should have taken a picture or showed it to her immediately in person. Three things that made my experience unpleasant: 1.) Hair on my Food 2.) Pulling stuff out of the trash 3.) No refund for my food

We drove an hour from Lake Worth to come to get food because we do not have a location anywhere nearer to us. First the staff and kitchen were arguing with each other right in front of us which was very uncomfortable. We placed our order and also added the crumbs, this was on the receipt when the kitchen got it. When we checked our order we were told by the kitchen that they don't give those out anymore and we're very argumentative. We spent over $40 and it was the worst experience ever. I also contacted their customer service and no one has responded to me yet. Do not go to this location you will be highly disappointed if you do.

Trash. Did the drive-thru. Told the kid I wanted green beans and waffle fries as a side. 2 chicken 1 dish combo, and a six piece order of hush puppies. He read it all back and said Cole slaw instead of green beans. No big deal, I corrected him. Get to the window, pay, told to pull up to the door. Short wait, very nice young lady brings out my order “2-1 piece with coleslaw”. No. Green beans. She runs in an gets the correct side. Get home, open the box, two hush puppies as a side, charged for a 6 piece that I wasn’t given. Absolute trash. The girl was sweet. Everything else sucked. Fish was dry and over cooked. Chicken sucked. And the baby who’s obsessed with hush puppies spit one of the two out. And the beans were cold.

Firsst traveled over a half hour to get to the restaurant in the first place. 2nd they didn't offer food on menu in the app. 3rd the app didn't work. 4th After the girl at the counter said she would honor the app reward SHE DIDN'T. 5TH when i spoke to the manager and asked him about it he said they are nothing allowed to do it. 6 After he "refunded my credit card" refused to give me any copies of the receipt or credit or even allow me to photograph it. 7 never again!!!

Deplorable. Had I saw that my fries looked like it crawled halfway out of the oven on its own, I wouldve demanded my money back. LJS needs a facelift and to cut down all those surrounding trees for more visibility. I was starving so this $16 costly experience was very disappointing. 👎🏾

Back again to pickup another order placed on line besides saying that order was going to be ready in 20 minutes it took 30 minutes. When asking for sauces, everyone I asked for they didn’t have. Then when I mentioned that since last time the place was improving and her response was she only works here with an attitude and turns around. In other words she is here to collect a check and nothing else. Why places like this are still open…? Twice going to this place and service and food goes from bad to worse. Ask for sauces they do not have any, then their attitude is like they will get paid if they do business or not. Then come back and ask for what I asked when placed the order they are out. Ask for side orders, they are out… I just wonder how a place that is usually empty and they have this service can be open to the public.

Food was barely warm even though I asked twice to please make our food was fresh out of the fryer and hot. Denise the cashier was very sweet and I heard her ask the cook to do this. They were not that busy at that time. But needless to say the look on the cook's face when she asked, I wasn't surprised that it wasn't done. The owner was there on a previous visit and it was hot and delicious and not greasy leaving a coating on our tongue. This is too much money to spend and not enjoy and be satisfied with.
