On January 16th of 2026 I stopped at churches for an order of chicken tenders, It took them a really long time to prepare my meal, but it did finally arrive. When I opened the box, everything looked normal, but I did detect a rather strong old grease aroma. I decided to go ahead and give them a try, big mistake! There was a very strong flavor of a chemical of some sort,with the horrible old-grease taste. I quickly spit out the food and disposed of the entire meal. Just go elsewhere for your food.

Disgusting Disgusting Disgusting! This place needs to go to church and learn to put effort into their operation. I love salt but this place takes the cake. The saltines almost killed my wife and I. The wings were not even attempted to be tossed with the sauce. The craggly lady at the counter wasn't in the mood for a customer. Considering they don't get many you think she would be happy to see us. Of course she forgot the wing sauces and I had to go back in. Unfortunately I didn't open the box and check for my missing biscuit. The biscuit my wife did get was stale and gross. Avoid Avoid Avoid!! At all costs!

2 thumbs down, got no service and to top it off the place was empty. The chicken looked old. The two young workers looked like they were ready to fall asleep. Traveling from El Paso, TX. I have never seen a churches so dirty.

I feel dumber from my experience here.. if anyone wants to know where I’m at. It’s still at churches waiting for my food…. Figure it out people.

The lady working the counter is completely incapable of taking orders.It took her a solid 5 minutes to take ours. She asked us multiple times if we wanted spicy or not and still got it wrong then she charged us for drinks that were supposed to come with the combo and was borderline rude when we were waiting for the food.

They never have spicy, doesn't matter when you go they dont have it, if you sell that much youre constantly dold out, make/prep more!

This is my first time visiting this location and will for sure be my last. I waited in line for over 30 minutes to only get turned around with that they were out of chicken. I mean why take my order? I am so happy Sonic drive in was nearby. Everyone please go there. Stay away from this location of Churchs Chicken. These were the most incompetent workers I have ever come across. Date 4/18/25.

Only giving one star because I have too. I know so cliche. Ok, so I arrive one hour before closing and was told they could make my order fresh. I pull around and wait 25 minutes only for them to come out and say they ran out of chicken. I was like “how?” I mean no one else has come through the drive thru but one other car. They proceeded to explain that they received online orders. Ok now it’s 9 minutes to closing time as I wait in the drive thru again because I request a cash refund, and no other cars for these “online orders” have arrived. So what’s really going on? Aaron C. was the cashier.

This place is terrible, they need to change their frying oil more often, the chicken tastes nasty. So did the mashed potatoes. I wish I could give them less than one star.

So no idea what's up with the five star reviews but this place is horrible. Teenagers at the register being super rude. Forgot multiple parts of our order, more concerned with talking to friends then actually working. Soda machine messed up and out of multiple things, saw they had to give refunds to multiple people. Lovely business here, avoid and go to McDonald's or something. Might get better service.

Giving one star because zero stars is not an option. The line at the drive thru was long so I chose to go inside to place my order. It took several minutes before someone noticed me standing at the counter to place an order, which is understandable because they were busy trying to fill orders. I placed my order and while waiting, I struck up a conversation with another customer who stated that he had been waiting for 20 minutes for his order. This gentleman went to the counter and asked how much longer it would be and he was asked for his receipt. He was informed that his order must have been accidentally been cleared but if he would wait a few more minutes, his order would be ready which required an additional 10 minutes. One of the employees asked if I had placed an order and when I said yes, he asked to see my receipt because he couldn’t find my order on their board either. After waiting for 40 minutes and not receiving my order, I requested a refund and left. I understand that some chicken or other menu items may need to be fried to fill all of the orders but when the orders are removed from the board before the order is filled is incompetence of the employees. There were three employees in the front and another one in the back so they were not short-handed. I completely understand that someone may get flustered when they’re that busy but to clear orders that aren’t even filled and not even offer an apology for the error is inexcusable.
