I came here alone because I wanted to enjoy my birthday surrounded by nature, seeking good vibes and a chance to reconnect with myself. I wanted to pamper myself with a delicious lunch, and... I couldn't have come across a better place. I had a donkey stew that melted in my mouth, perfectly cooked and with a very harmonious flavor; maybe because there were only a few of us, but I was treated wonderfully, with great attention to my intolerances, among other things 🥳✌️✌️✌️ (important, for those who know 😉). They explained the menu to me and are very careful about the ingredients, with a trusted butcher. These details matter to me, and I'll have to come back to try the rest. The welcoming atmosphere made me feel at home. 🙏⭐️ Happy Birthday!! 😇⭐️ Now I'm going for a walk 😚

Everything was truly delicious! The appetizer of cured meats and cheeses was noteworthy, made with top-quality ingredients. We enjoyed the fresh tagliolini pasta with wild boar ragù, simply excellent. The atmosphere is very welcoming and quaint, enhanced by a magnificent fireplace that creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive: they immediately made us feel at ease. Highly recommended!

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews 🤔 The place is truly beautiful and quaint. Excellent service! Traditional, high-quality cuisine, excellent wine! And to finish, a wonderful digestive walk in the adjacent woods. I would honestly return.

Everything was perfect 👌 Arriving as a group of three without a reservation on a Sunday evening, we were offered a table inside. The waitress spoke excellent French (much better than I speak Italian 😅). We received excellent advice. The food was delicious and served quickly. From the appetizer (shared between three) to the main course, including dessert. The complimentary digestif rounded off this excellent meal.

L'Osteria dell'Alpe is one of those rare places that feels like home from the moment you walk in, thanks to the warm, attentive service from the whole team—especially Anna, who seemed to read our minds when it came to food and wine. We've returned five times already, making it a must-stop every time we pass from Switzerland to Lago di Como to enjoy their delicious local cuisine made with fresh, mountain-sourced ingredients like cheese and salami. It’s so special that my father even traveled from Hungary just to savor their famous Fiorentina and polenta—an unforgettable meal in a truly welcoming setting.

Sunday lunch with friends, but we overdid it with the appetizers, which prevented us from trying other dishes on the menu. They kindly offered us the option of taking away the uneaten dishes (I hate wasting food). Definitely worth trying again.

Ottimo cibo in un luogo curato e pulito, tipico arredo di montagna e piacevole atmosfera. Il servizio un pochino disattento, la carta dei vini l’avremmo preferita cartacea e non solo raccontata dal personale, i piatti sono giunti in tempi diversi ma per tutto il resto ci siamo trovati bene!

We visited this restaurant about ten days ago and had a truly wonderful meal. For our appetizer, we chose snails, which were flavorful and well-cooked; followed by a first course with a rich and flavorful venison sauce, and for our main course, a tender, perfectly cooked pork shank. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff, overall, exudes warmth and hospitality. However, I must report one unpleasant incident: the waitress who served us, seeing us take turns holding our two-month-old baby, commented that she was "spoiled" and that she could rock her so we could dine in peace. This, despite specifying that she doesn't have children but has "experience" with siblings. I found this out of place, especially in a family restaurant where discretion is expected. It's a shame about this comment, because, culinary-wise and for the rest of the service, the experience was excellent. We will gladly return for the quality of the food, hoping for a more attentive approach to customer needs.

Coperto caro, tre euro e non ci hanno nemmeno portato il pane. Conto caro rispetto a quello che abbiamo mangiato, tenendo conto dell' ambiente semplice e del fatto che si è all' Alpe grande.

Eight of us went for lunch. Don't expect large portions. The food was pleasant. The outdoor location allows for a stroll after a meal, although it's certainly not a big feast, but the natural surroundings still offer a beautiful view. As for the hospitality, it leaves much to be desired. The unpleasant thing was, after paying—and even more so, I dare say—feeling like we'd run away without paying. This was especially unpleasant in front of other customers, considering we left a €7 tip. Thank you for your hospitality, and if, as has been said, animals are better than people, I reiterate that among them, some honest people have remained on this earth. Enjoy your life ❤️
