Went in for a quick bite, so jumped straight into a wee slice. The menu for single slices isn’t as extensive as I’d hoped it would be, but still plenty of choices such as the Detroit square slices that are pictured. I got the nduja with pesto which was flavourful and interesting (as well as drowning in cheese) and the other pictured is the pepperoni with hot honey. Both were solid slices and tasted even better with the ranch dip. The chips were incredibly crispy and very well seasoned (even tasted good this morning, cold!). The decor is very fun and relaxed, and since we were a wee bit later there was no queue and got seated easily. My only qualm was that the pizza took quite a while to reach us, where I thought the slices would just be flying out! Regardless sipping away at a nice coke and smelling the pizza fumes kept me entertained enough until the crispy slices arrived. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive so cannot fault the place at all! Thanks so much for a delicious meal, cheers :)
Top quality pizza, good portions and good prices. The slices are huge, thin and crispy just the way they should be. The crispy gnocchi and parmesan fries were also really good and are a meal in themselves. The fries stay crispy and the cheese and seasoning is layered through every bite, not just dumped on top like you see in so many other places. The service is excellent and it's a cool restaurant. Brilliant pizza place, believe the hype.
10/10 for food and atmosphere! Pizza was very tasty and good value, plenty for leftovers later tonight!! The food had a little wait, but it was worth it, would definitely come back again. The staff are so lovely and helpful, they couldn’t do anything more if they tried. Special shoutout to the FOH/ waitress with short blonde hair, absolute credit to any work place she’s in! Big thank you to the staff 🫶🏽🫶🏽
This was my first time here and honestly, it’s a gem! Totally worth every single penny. The pizza was delicious, the total vibe of the place was just so cool and definitely worth the visit. Shoutout to our server Megan, she was so helpful in helping me pick just the right pizza to get as I was definitely struggling to pick (THEY ALL SOUNDED SO GOOOD!!) and she was so sweet and kind the whole way. Round 2 is underway
Seriously, if you're into American-style pizza, you have to check this place out. They have a great selection, not too many options, just the good stuff. I've only tried their regular pizzas and the massive slices (you have to see them to believe it!), but they're easily some of the best non-traditional pizzas around. The whole vibe feels inspired by classic pizza subculture, and the taste lives up to it. Highly recommend! ( the mixed self service thing is one of the things left to be desired but they make up to it with quality vibes and mood )
Brilliant meal here. Detroit style pizza slice was a particular favourite! Tried new haven style and parmesan crust. Great spot for casual dining but also group dining. Very social vibe and great outdoor seating. We were served by the delightful Megan and Jada! They took out doughnuts for our daughter on her birthday! Thanks again!
Seriously delicious pizza – my favorite in the UK! I was so excited when I heard they opened a branch in Glasgow and had to check it out. Today I tried the Pepperoni pizza, Rosemary Roasted Potatoes pizza, and the DETROIT slice – from classic toppings to more unique ones, every slice was absolutely delicious. The portions are huge, and the prices are super reasonable too! I’m a huge fan of Civerinos. Since I live in Edinburgh, I’ve been to all their locations – Royal Mile, by the Meadows, and even the Portobello Beach branch – more than five times each. I especially love the Meadows location and go there at least once a week. But now… I might love the Glasgow one even more! The staff are super friendly, and of course, the pizza is just as amazing.
We stopped into Civerinos for food on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeted immediately by very friendly staff. The food was amazing, both the pizza and sides were delicious and were generous portion sizes. But the highlight of our visit was our amazing waiter Kerr, who from start to finish welcomed us and laughed along with us as well as doing an amazing job of walking us through the menu and giving recommendations. I don’t usually write reviews but felt it necessary on this occasion as an amazing impression was left by Kerr and they deserve their props! Will definitely be stopping in again on our next visit from Ireland.
First time at Civerinos and won’t be my last. Was going to see Wolf Alice at Hydro and dined here by myself. Pizza was beautiful as well as the fries with truffle mayo (recommended by Amy). A lot of food for what you pay. Amy was absolutely fantastic as well - I felt really welcome, she is a credit to the team. Great experience! Second visit tonight before seeing Florence (9/2/2025). Lauren served me this evening and was very attentive, friendly in manner and made my visit a lovely one (in addition to the amazing food!). Staff are lovely and this is my place to go before heading to the Hydro!
The food was amazing, but also, our server, Amy, was so kind!!! We forgot our leftovers we'd put in a box and they left the store to chase us and hand them to us during a STORM!!! So kind of them. I really appreciated it because it means we get yummy leftovers of their amazing food. I'd say 1-2 pizza slices is perfect depending on apetitie, plus a shared side if you're with another person if you're feeling extra hungry! Slices were max 6.25 or so, same with sides. Really well flavoured and balanced to be honest. The vegan pizza slices were super good, too. Allergies are good, too. Only pine nuts in the pesto in the kitchen, gluten free, vegan and veggie options :). Worth the stop!
Great pizza and a brilliant atmosphere at Civerino’s Glasgow. Everything was delicious and came out fast. Cara was our server and she was super friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Will definitely be back
I went to Civerinos in Finnieston with my daughter who has challenging tastes. My servers were amazing in helping my daughter finding something she loved. No word of a lie, they went over and above and I have never had service like it in a restaurant. Outstanding. I loved the pizzas, and the Detroit slice i got is top tier pizza. Will be back 100%. Love the place, and the servers and staff are amazing. Genuinely nice people. My carb dealer was LJ.
Great food and service from Lucy Jo. Nice and attentive without being too intrusive. Both adults and kids loved the pizza’s Atmosphere marked down one star as it’s quite cramped and I think tables need to be slightly bigger. Just my opinion. But food is amazing 🤩
this place def deserves higher ratings because it’s phenomenal! we got their buttermilk chicken - the combination of all the flavours was just wonderful and i really loved the touch of honey as well. although we got it to go, it still tasted wonderful. what more having it fresh off the oven! we’ll def be coming back here to have it in the store
The pepperoni slice with the parmesan and parsley dusting is one of my favourites. Pushed the boat out as well and got the vegan slice with crispy kale, tomatoes and caramelised onion. It was nice for a change, enjoyed the crunch and earthiness of the kale with the caramelised onion. Nice contrasting flavours. Enjoyed the spider web of Parmesan on the fries alongside the trio of dips – the best being the spicy chipotle mayo.
I had an amazing experience at this pizza place! The food was absolutely delicious, with a perfectly crisp crust and fresh, flavorful toppings. What really stood out, though, was the fantastic service from Lewis and Orla. They were so friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Their warm personalities truly made the meal even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Abby was very helpful during our visit and checked up on us to see if we needed anything else. The food was delicious too
Been here quite a few times and can safely say it is my favourite pizza in Glasgow and probably the best pizza I've ever had. Our great waitress Shona was really helpful and our chef Seb has done himself proud. Extremely well priced and would recommend 2 slices per person if you want some variety or a 20 inch pizza between 2 (both will be the same amount of food). Looking forward to the next one
Gorg wee pizza spot, Abby was such lovely server. 10/10 experience :)
Pizza was incredible especially the Parmesan crust 😋 Service by Lucy Jo was great 👍🏼
6 of us ,all adults had a fantastic evening in this funky little spot . The service was 1st class, the food was hot and flavoursome and of course we ordered too much. The bill for 6 including top was just over £100 but could have £70 if we hadn't had bigger eyes than bellies. Thanks to Kev and his crew we will most definitely visit again soon and we promise to take our pooch next time too as they are a dog friendly joint .
Food was great!! Our server chloe was fabulous aswell! Great place.
Lile I said to Lucy Jo, our amazing help at the restaurant tonight, this was the best meal I had in a very long time.
We had the most amazing family meal tonight at Civerino's. The staff went above and beyond for us all and the food was absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to visit again, would highly recommend a visit.
Stopped in for lunch on a whim. The rosemary potato pizza and garlic crust bites were fantastic and our “carb dealer” Cora was great! Looking forward to our next visit.
Great experience in Civerino’s Finnieston for Galentines. Lucy Jo was such a great server and really made our night. She served us her first Amaretto on the rocks and it was delish! Would definitely visit again xx
Had a lovely meal here! Delicious pizza and lovely atmosphere. Lucy-Jo was a fantastic server and so lovely. Love this place and would defo come again :)
Lucy-Jo was super helpful and made sure we had everything needed to enjoy our pizza! She was also happy to help explain things on the menu and made sure to read our order back to us so there was no mistakes!
Arrived for dinner with my daughter. Staff helped us find a table and were helpful throughout. Lucy-Jo explained the menu as my daughter is pretty fussy but the kids menu is a great deal. Great pizza and setting for food.
We got: Giant mozzarella stick Classic fries Marinara, mozzarella, fresh buffalo mozzarella & basil slice Buttermilk fried chicken & pepperoni 20" First of all, I don't know what we were thinking ordering a 20" pizza as well as sides ( but the leftovers made for a nice dinner the next day. Classic fries were delicious, had a nice seasoning. The mozzarella stick was nice but as l've said in previous posts, I just prefer a regular sized mozzarella over these huge ones that are trendy right now. Anyway, it still tasted good but at £6.50, I'm not sure it's entirely worth it. The slice was pretty tasty, nice sauce and the crust was lovely as always. Now onto the main event. I enjoyed this, good flavours and along with the chicken and pepperoni there was a chilli honey which was really nice. And of course the crust dipped in the truffle and garlic aioli as well as the chipotle mayo was incredible. Civerinos is a great little spot in Finnieston, I'll definitely be back at some point to try more as I love that they do slices. I'd also say that apart from the mozzarella stick it's pretty good value for money as the portions are really big and the food was delicious.
Wish I could rate this 3.5 as that's how I really feel - I had a medium-high experience. Left satisfied enough, but won't be going back. At first, it was fine. The server was super helpful in letting us know about the sizes and how much we should order. Then, once we ordered, things took a bit of a turn. We ordered two 14" pizzas. They took about FORTY minutes to get to us. I've seen pizza places take a long time before and it was Saturday night so I wouldn't have been super surprised if it weren't for the fact that people who had been sat after us were getting their pizzas within a reasonable time. At no point were we told why it was taking so long. Then pizzas arrive - yay! But no yay, my pizza was COLD. 40 minutes and my pizzas not even warm? Our second pizza was hot, so I imagine the wait must've been to refire the second pizza, for whatever reason. Then we mostly finish our pizzas, leaving about 1 slice each. We can't take it away as we're headed to a gig after. Yet the server kind of tries to guilt trip us into packing it up to take away?? Asks a few times after we say no thanks. Then we get the bill and realise how much our cans of sprite and irn bru cost - they were nearly £4 EACH? Our fault for not reading the prices, sure, but WHAT. So, all in all, was acceptable enough but won't be going back.
Loved the food pizza was massive! Vibes are chilled and relaxed! Defo recommend 😊 L-J was fab!
The square Detroit style is where it's at! So good! The other pizza is good but I prefer others. The fries could be cooked longer to make them better. Cool vibe, not the most comfortable seating though. Great prices & huge portions
the food here was great! we ordered the 20in pepperoni with fries on top and were not disappointed. -the photos do not do the sheer size of the pizza justice but it was massive, the thin crust meant that although it was a lot of food it was not sickly. -the fries we had on top were especially good very well salted and crispy. - all the staff were very polite and there was quick service. - it was quite quiet when we went but this is probably because it was late on a sunday. - overall great place and perfect for a meal with friends
Our server Lauren was great, but felt the pizza slices were lacking in toppings and lacked coherency, all different thicknesses and crispiness even though they were the same base. Loved the gnocchi but a massive portion!
Will have to come back and try again because our slices definitely weren’t fresh. Un-enjoyably crispy and cold. Pretty disappointing for the price. Hopefully better second time around
Pizza's were ok. Chips had far too much rosemary, especially when you ask for them plain. Mozzarella stick was fantastic. Service, seemed to prioritise takeaways over dine customers.
Well well what can I say about Cicero’s ? The food was flavourless and what imagine would be served at Italy KFCS My glass was dirty they need to clean the dishwasher ! The tizzed up staff girl was very rude and her shoes were smeling while she served us. She had arguments with other customers and started huffing and frying !! Very un professional The restaurant has good atmosphere but the tablecloth gave me a migraine from the pattern Might not come Back sorry
Are we joking? I used to like this place a couple of years ago but the food has gone so downhill. I used to like the aubergine pizza but they took it off the menu. This pizza was just burnt, every bite. The Detroit style pizzas are a miss too. Service was nice but unfortunately the food has not been good.
Staff was on their phones the whole time we spent there. Had to wait for 10 minutes for staff to give us the bill, even though the restaurant was empty. We had to approach them to the bar to get it. Pizza was lacking on toppings for its price. Tiramisu is very sour, it looks like they have used sour cream instead of mascarpone which ruins the taste. Either that, or it is spoilt. Will not come back. Huge disappointment compared to previous visits.
Very rarely feel the need to leave a review but was left so disappointed. New York slice was tasteless and dry, has clearly been out for a long time, sides were also very bland and overpriced
Well, where do I begin. I was recommended this place by a few people and I was sorely disappointed. From entering we were 'greeted' by a sour faced blonde girl, she sat us at the most awkward table in an almost empty restaurant. Service and atmosphere was atrocious, the tension between staff is obvious and the blonde who sat us was just plain rude. Once our food was ready we waited a further 10 minutes while she took photos which took away from how fresh it could have been if instagram wasn't so important. Her long extensions also dipped into our gnocchi.. The other waitress was lovely and the potion sizes are amazing but entire experience was ruined by 1 bad egg... Also keep an eye out for the service charge that is on the bill. Maybe order to go
