My wife and I are here for our 19-year Anniversary. We started off with the Southwest Spinach Dip and Heritage salads. The salsa that came with the Spinach Dip was GREAT! The spinach dip was great, too. For our main meal, my wife got the Norwegian Salmon and I had the Ruby Red Trout. Both were exceptional. Thank you Dakota for waiting on us and making our night special.
The ambience of this place makes you feel like you should be wearing your "Sunday Best," but the experience is quite casual. The servers are dressed well and are quite attentive to the diners needs. They are also quite informative and knowledgeable. I ordered the Tyler Club because I wanted something a bit lighter for dinner - the burgers sounded great but I didn't think I needed a half pound burger at the time. The sandwich and fries were great (the sauce was delightful), but the real star of the show was the Smoked Old Fashioned. My server KD suggested I let the bartender Rachael know. So I did! Wonderful experience and I look forward to coming back whenever I can!
I’ve been here a few times and always leave satisfied. This past Sunday we were there for the brunch and had both the donuts and southwest spinach dip as appetizers. I have ordered the ruby red trout several times because it never disappoints. The whipped potatoes are delicious. The charred half lemon adds tremendous flavor to the fish and potatoes. My party loved the Carnitas sandwich and French toast. The double chocolate crazy shake has two brownies on top with fudge coated glass and chocolate chips. Yummy.
This is one of the most casual, but fancy places I have been to in Tyler. Everything we got was superb. The waiter that we had. He was very nice accommodated everything that we needed. I would recommend this place to any family that someone on a budget, but is also looking for a little bit of business casual. I got a carnitas sandwich, with fries and Gouda mac & cheese. That is one of the best mac & cheese I’ve ever had! I also got a smoked old-fashioned that’s one of the best experiences I’ve had with the making of an old-fashioned.
First time trying Twelve in Tyler. First off, our server Addeline was amazing!! She was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the Italian meatballs, they were phenomenal!! They were so good, forget to get a picture before we ate them. I had the hickory burger, and my fiancée had the 903 burger. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted great!! The fries were good, especially with the BBQ ranch sauce to dip in!! We shared a creme brulee. It was the perfect way to end the meal!! I definitely recommend visiting Twelve, and we will be returning soon to try different menu items!!
First time here and could not be more impressed by the interactions by both the staff and Mgmt that continually checked on us as the brunch progressed. Their new garden fresh omelet lived up to its name and did include just the right balance of vegetables and ham. Breakfast tacos were awesome as usual. Their atmosphere was impressive as well and seating was spaced just right to allow the privacy one would wish for. Dan
We had dinner here of the first time last night and Dawn was the best waitress we have had in YEARS. She made the entire night fun and knew what we needed before we did. She made great food recommendations too! This establishment is lucky to have her, she is truly that amazing. Thank you Dawn for being so amazing and making our night so special. P.S. everyone must try the chocolate cake, it was the BEST.
Truly a fantastic experience I must say! The atmosphere and vibe of the place was awesome. The wait staff were incredibly knowledgeable. And the food was delightfully delicious. A must come destination if your in the Tyler area. I Highly recommend! Also, Cam was my server tonight and he was incredible. His menu knowledge was superb even though at the time of my visit he had only been there for one week. I admit I hadn’t come in to spend too much, but his ability to sell definitely made it worth my while. Good luck man if your reading this!
I love this family of restaurants, but Twelve is my favorite everyday restaurant for mouthwatering food, amazing drinks and exceptional customer service! When I first walked in, I assumed there was a dress code because of how upscale and refined the decor is! I always get something new, but what made me come back was definitely the Mahi Alexander, I really think it’s the best thing they have on the menu! The staff are all amazing and really round out the elevated dining experience here, I will definitely continue to come back!!
Visiting Twelve is always a delightful experience, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Daisy. Her attentiveness and warm demeanor make every visit memorable. Daisy consistently recommends the best drinks, appetizers, and entrees, ensuring we always have a fantastic dining experience. One of her standout recommendations is the Ray Roll, a hidden gem not even on the official menu. It has become our absolute favorite, showcasing her deep knowledge and passion for her craft. Daisy's expertise and cheerful presence are a joy, and we eagerly look forward to seeing her every time we visit. Highly recommend seeking her out for an outstanding bar experience!
We had reservations (which was good since they weren't taking walk ins by 7 pm) we were seated by 7:05. Server (Skylar) was there immediately and we had our drinks and appetizer within five minutes. Entrees were ordered and were delivered incredibly quick. Food was amazing!!! Highly recommend!!
First time dining here. The place is really nice. From the moment we entered we felt welcome. Everyone was warm and friendly. The food was made to perfection. The frozen margaritas were very good. The mgr Christopher came and talked to us as we waited for our food and we really enjoyed him. He warm and professional. Riley our waiter answered questions we had about the menu and was there for our every need. Riley did awesome for not being there long. Sam another mgr came and greeted us. It was definitely an experience we will tell others about and be back for.
Really good food. And good service. Atmosphere was nice. This used to be a pizza and bar but had been revamped to a really nice restaurant. The seating atmosphere is casual and elegant. This was lunch, I am eager to see how dinner fares out. A great date night place to go for the atmosphere, food, and drinks. They are going to be a major player in the fine dining realm. One of the pictures I posted is mahi-mahi Alexander. It was prepared nicely and is a dish not served anywhere else to my knowledge in Tyler. Very nice.
A very nice Restaurant. Food was great for the most part. The Frozen Drink was very heavy on the Rum. The Mahi Mahi Alexander was excellent. The Steak was perfect. The Hamburger was supposed to be well done, no cheese, no tomato. It came medium, with tomato and cheese. The other food was great. I recommend the Carrot Cake
Popped in for brunch since we were in the area. The truffle fries were our favorite. The mimosas, chicken and waffles, rotisserie chicken, and Gouda Mac & Cheese all tasted great. We definitely recommend this place if you haven’t tried it yet. We’ll be back if we’re in the area :)
LOVED this place. I sat at the bar, there was only 1 bar tender but she did a great job multitasking and serving everyone at the bar. I ordered 2 dishes, the Spicy Chicken Bites and the Asiago Chicken Pasta. Both dishes were excellent. The guy next to me ordered a smoked old fashioned and it was fun to watch her make it. If you’ve never been and are in town, this is definitely a great choice to eat
Best steak I’ve had in a while, I mean literally melt in your mouth every bite kind of good! And can I mention, food got out to us in less than 15 minutes? Service was top notch, beer on tap was perfectly thirst quenching, and the creme brûlée tied the whole thing together in a truly satisfying way. Will come back 10/10 Ask for Presley, what a wonderful server!
My first time, second for my wife. This place is fantastic. I love the dark romantic type atmosphere and the music was a throwback to my days growing up. Wesley. Our server, was fantastic. Truly he knew the menu and his suggestions were spot on. My wife had the Thai Noodle Salad and I had the Hickory Bacon Cheeseburger. Mine was cooked to perfection, I asked for medium. We also got an appetizer, the Spinach Dip which was amazing. Truly this is going to become my wife and I's go to restaurant. I cannot think of anything negative, it was amazing. Best burger in town!
A+ all around. Such a great value but also the presentation of the dishes was well though out and very appealing to the eye. Nashville hot chicken was amazing. The ranch finished it off perfectly. And we got an unexpected 2 pieces of candied bacon on top as a garnish (oh and two chocolate donut holes). Service was warm and friendly as well. Ashley did a great job!
What a lovely dining experience! We’ve been here many times and have always enjoyed our meals. If you’re planning a steak or nice dining experience, check out Twelve. For a few dollars (only a few) you can have a much better experience than at a chain steak house. Relaxing, quiet, dark and romantic: Perfect for a date night! Wonderful drinks and perfectly cooked steaks. Desserts are plentiful and nicely presented. Appetizer, drinks, tea, entrees, and dessert, all under $100. Don’t miss this place!!!
Absolutely perfect! I ordered the Filet Mignon and had Creme Brulee for dessert 😋 A.J made sure that our food was brought out in a timely manner and it was cooked just right! He was such a great server and my Husband and I really enjoyed our conversation with him. We will most definitely be back!
Can’t say enough about how amazing it all was. Filet medallions melt in your mouth, the Mac and cheese is superb, and the carnitas sandwich is incredible! Do yourself a favor, save room for the crème brûlée! 10/10 presentation! Their staff is incredible, thank you Presley and Eddie. Lastly, I was impressed by their expeditious service. We will absolutely be back!
From the first moment walking in I could feel like this was going to be a great dining experience. Laid back but high class vibes. The hostess seated us quickly and we had the fortune of being served by Adeline. She is an amazing server and took great care of my wife and I. One of the best servers we have ever had and seemed to intuit what we needed. The food was excellent. The spinach artichoke dip was yummy and the Thai noodle steak salad was fantastic! 5/5 stars for food and 10/5 stars for service. Yum factor +5!
I recently went to Twelve, and I had such a wonderful experience! My family and I decided to try somewhere different, and It was such a good choice!! We had the truffle fries, and spinach dip as our appetizer. Our server was AJ, he was so kind and helpful. I had asked him for good entree recommendations, and AJ recommended the blackened salmon. It was so delicious!! He was very attentive to not only our table, but to his other tables as well!! And he gave us plenty of refills, and even brought me a to go drink of Strawberry Lemonade for the trip back home. Definitely will be back again soon!!
This place was awesome! I took my mom here for her birthday and she loved it! From delicious food to great customer service-I definitely recommend this place. Loved the modern layout of the restaurant-dim lighting with cool vibes. Recommended items: Spinach & artichoke dip Ruby red trout with broccoli Crispy fish platter 5 layer Italian cake
Been to Twelve a couple times and have enjoyed it every time! Delmonico steak is our fav and the sushi is fresh and delicious as well. The Thai pasta dish was refreshing, although it had more leaves than noodles in it and we were expecting the opposite, but still good. Drinks were also yummy!
Food was great a plus because they have a wide variety of food with a menu that isn’t overwhelming. The restaurant has a nice slightly up-scale dimmed light ambiance. Staff were always there and had great service. The foods presentation was great. I celebrated my birthday and our picky family were all satisfied.
Excellent place for happy hour.. dinner and everything else. If you don't have a reservation for dinner, be ready to wait 20-30mins. Thankfully we got seated at the bar fairly quick. Service was awesome, drinks were awesome, food was awesome, even the people sitting at the bar were nice to talk to! Will definitely make this a regular spot now.
We’re running out of places to enjoy our lunch where we live and Twelve was recommended by a friend so we drove an hour to have our lunch. The place looks great. Foods were delicious and service was superb. We order chips and dip for entree and the spinach dip was delicious. We also have Norwegian salmon and it was delicious. Order 2 drinks, Destiny dream. Drinks look pretty and tasty. Our bartender Jaylen was very friendly and great service. Highly recommended. Love this place.
What a fantastic dining experience with exceptional service provided by our server Hunter. All in a setting that feels both comfortable and upscale. The Spinach and Artichoke dip, Norwegian salmon with broccoli and the 903 Burger were absolutely delicious, perfect in every bite. I was in town for a business meeting and will definitely be back. The exceptional service, delightful meal, the inviting dining room, full service bar and great outdoor patio make this an easy place to recommend for both the food and the experience!
Tried 12 for the first time. The atmosphere was really nice and we had great service. I was a little disappointed that the old-fashioned I ordered was served with a regular maraschino cherry that I had to ask for and not the Luxardo cherry that is custom for an old-fashioned and was expecting. We had three starters, Italian meatballs, oyster, Rockefeller, and spinach, artichoke dip, all were good, but we would probably next time get the meatballs and the spinach dip and not the Rockefeller because we had too much to eat. For an entrée, we split the redfish Alexander, which was phenomenal and got the smoked Gouda mac & cheese as the side, which was also amazing. The pita bread that was served with a spinach dip was outstanding. We look forward to coming again and perhaps trying a few other new things. We also thought it was very reasonably priced, especially for the quality of food in ambience.
I had the uptown chicken and my husband had the garlic chicken. They were both very delicious and very flavorful. The uptown chicken was my favorite and the dressing on the salad was out of this world. I would definitely come back again. The spinach dip and hot sauce was also amazing. So sad I didn’t take pictures, but we devoured every morsel on our plates.
1st time being here. We sat in the Veranda. It was quite cold cause they just got their A/C fixed but with a few drinks we warmed up. We ordered the Oysters Rockefeller and the spinach artichoke dip. They were AMAZING! And the prices were awesome! The espresso martini was spot on! I ordered the garlic chicken, it wasn't as garlicy as I would of liked but it was tasty. My better half ordered red fish Alexander and that was good too. Definitely going back. I'd like to try the demonico steak next time!
This is a very nice restaurant with a cool ambiance, great food, and our server - Paris was nice and attentive. She guided us through the menu since it was our first time there, and made it easy for us to choose. Both dishes were excellent. Paris was recommended to us and I would suggest you ask for her. I am confident that you will be well taken care of, as we were, during your experience at this excellent dining establishment.
Best Experience I’ve had at a restaurant in Tyler in a long time and I have lived here for 8 years. Aiden M. was my server and he was phenomenal!! He offered creative substitutions to dishes I already loved to make them even better. He was enthusiastic about the menu options and how the restaurant strives to be different. Anytime I needed him, he was already there, and took care of refills or plates without me having to ask! Most importantly he gave me and my friend the space to talk and catch up without interruptions. The food was amazing and came out in a timely manner. So happy I chose Twelve, I hope the business continues to do well and grows in their success.
Kailyn A. Was an amazing server!!! One of the best we’ve ever had. Food was fast, hot and fresh. Old fashioned was on point like always. 👌 💯 will be back!
Our server Keri was wonderful. The meatball appetizer was amazing. Atmosphere is top notch - great value, great food, great service!
Wait staff is very tentative, knowledgeable, kind and fun! Nathan is definitely a server to ask for. He knew the menu and you can tell has fun at work! He made us feel so welcome and made us laugh. The food is always so good!
The food is incredible! Prices are great, perfect atmosphere varying from intimate to group/kid friendly and the service is impeccable. Highly recommend!
Kerry was our server and checked on us constantly and our drinks never ran dry, she definitely deserves the better tables that tip more! Thanks for the great service and food!
Such a beautiful place, wonderful food, and amazing service. The medallions, you can cut with a fork. The service was supper sweet and informative, the atmosphere was so pretty and clean. I will definitely be back.
Our family loves Twelve!! I love that we can sign in online and get a reservation. We always get top-notch service. I love that we can use the inKind app and save money. We really enjoy the servers and the managers are all so kind. Today we went for a birthday party. Our service was great by Raul! Everything was fantastic from start to finish.
I got engaged here this past weekend. Our server was Keri and she was the absolute sweetest. We had a huge party and she was very tentative to us all. Not only that, but made sure my surprise proposal was absolutely perfect. Thank you to the manager and the rest of the staff this past Saturday for making sure this night went perfect! I’m very impressed!!!
I've been here a few times and I'm always surprised at the quantity and quality of food. In a world of rising prices, I feel like my dollar actually gets what I pay for here. The drinks are creative and done well. Food presentation matters. Very happy with this spot and shout out to Raul A. for great menu recommendations and fast personable service.
We had an amazing meal. Our sweet server, I think Andrea, was fairly new and provided excellent service. We had the roasted chicken and it was fall off the bone tender, gluten free and absolutely delicious. The whipped potatoes are super smooth and incredible. I could have easily eaten a huge bowl of them. We will definitely be back.
We tried twelve for the first time on our first date and we’ve been back every date night since. Tonight we had Raul as our server and he was phenomenal. He was extremely friendly, informative, and social. We will be asking for him every time. Thank you Raul!
We booked reservation on google, got sat quickly. The atmosphere was nice, all of the staff were very friendly, food came out in a timely manner and all of our food tasted great! Would definitely recommend this to everyone I know! We will be back!
Went out on a date night. Ambiance was nice. Food was tasty. Nathan was awesome. He deserves extra recognition. Overall, great experience. Will definitely be back.
Our waiter Raul was the best! He was so friendly and made every effort to meet our every ask. Love Scott Williams (owner of Twelve) and the food was top notch!

My husband had the carnitas pork sandwich.an Asiago mac n cheese ,we went by reviews I had read 4 Twelve .. difinatly would back. An THANK YOU SCOTT WILLIAMS 4 Offering us 2 ol folks a nice dinner..you made our day special.!!
I’ve been in the hunt for good food since moving from Houston to Tyler. Twelve checked all the boxes! We came in to try it all. Wine selection was amazing! Bottle service superb. The service was OUTstanding. We tried the sushi, spinach dip, chicken, hot bites, club sandwich, and fries. The food was absolutely delicious! Various flavors of all kinds.
Stopped in around 1 PM on a wednesday. Place wasnt busy at all. Food and service were both absolutely fantastic. Chimichurri roll was way tastier than expected. Steaks were fantastic and cooked perfectly. Baked potatoes had a pretty aggressive salt coating that really complimented the flavor. Finished with the creme brulee which, while a smaller serving than i would have liked, was still absolutely delicious. Will definitely be eating here again.
Jan 18 2026 my husband and I are here with a couple of our friends first time. The atmosphere was very cozy and the staff were excellent. Very nice and professional. Our waiter was awesome, he had a great attitude and personality and was outstanding at his job. We had a great time and the food was good quality. Will definitely come back.
I have never done a Google review or any public review for an establishment or service before, but I feel called to do it for Twelve Kitchen + Bar here in Tyler, Texas! I have lived in Tyler for most of my adult life and grew up in a town close by, I have served/bartended in the past (for close to 11 years), so I know all the ins and outs when it comes to quality customer care and above and beyond service. From the hostess to the server, down to the atmosphere and food/bar beverages, I am astounded! The hostess was incredibly accommodating and personable ensuring our time here would be well spent. I ordered the chimichurri sushi roll per our server, Raul, recommendation. It was mouth wateringly amazing! I will return for that alone, but when I return I will definitely ask for Raul every time. This town has so many restaurants and the service has plummeted due to dire need, but Raul’s service stood out enough for me to write this review. He was a breath of fresh air with his smile and positive energy, and there wasn’t a second of our time that he wasn’t attentive to. Every time he approached our table, he made sure to clear the table of clutter and pre-bus, down to grabbing a single straw wrapper! Who does that? He deserves a raise at the very least. We will be returning for him most of all. Well done Raul! Feel proud about the service you give and God bless.
I had the filet mignon and a baked potato. Both were excellent and cooked perfectly! My hubby had the uptown chicken (delish) and got the Gouda Mac cheese (excellent). Our waiter was very attentive and we enjoyed our experience as always!
From the first time in 2025 we encountered the best service , food was amazing . We enjoyed it so much that when our daughter graduated from Texas College we bought the entire family here. Keep in mind we traveled 9 hours monthly from Alabama to Tyler to visit our daughter and support TEXAS COLLEGE. We tell everyone if they are traveling through Tyler to visit 12 , they want be disappointed. Have even had brunch , my family ate 2 dozen donuts, everything is perfect. If we could have them donuts shipped 🤣🤣🥰
We spent some time at the bar, waiting for our table to be set. The drinks were fantastic, and the service was top-notch. Kaitlyn was our server, and she was amazing! She was so attentive, and our food was absolutely delicious.
Very nice restaurant. All of our dishes were really good and well presented, from the appetizers to the dessert. The oyster Rockefeller was prepared with a fried oyster which was surprisingly very good. The sushi salad was beautiful, the tuna was blended and tasted perfect. The Red trout was also very nice with wonderful mashed potatoes. The steak medallions looked and tasted awesome. The Thai beef and noodles salad was amazing. The dessert menu was somewhat limited but the creme Brule was tasty and beautiful. We had a table of eight and had lots of dishes on the table, clean and empty ones, we had to put dishes in stacks on the table after a while, not pretty. Overall a great meal. Definitely will be back, maybe with less people. 😃
This was my first time going and it was a nice experience, however it was some minor issues. First it was the area we were sitting in, I guess this area accommodated the larger areas, it was a little warm. I feel like they should have ceiling fans in there so the air can circulate better. My second issue was my entree. The presentation could have been a little better. I got the rotisserie chicken and my plate looked a little rushed. The presentation didn't look appealing, and it kind of tasted like the rotisserie chicken you get at a grocery store. Now to the positives my appetizer (I got the oysters) 10/10, my drink (Cubano mojito) 10/10, my entree(chicken) I would give that a 7/10. For 2 drinks, 2 appetizers and 2 entrees it was $80(me and my sister tab was together) Overall I would go again. Oh and our waitress was very sweet!!!
Date night was a huge success, thanks to Twelve. For appetizers, I ordered the chimichurri roll and my wife ordered the southwest spinach dip (not pictured, because we’ve all seen spinach dip before). I’m a huge fan of chimichurri on anything, so I absolutely loved the roll. It had shrimp, avocado, cream cheese, asparagus, and steak on top. My wife really enjoyed her spinach dip. It was alright to me🤷🏼♂️. For our main entree, I ordered the filet mignon with the Gouda Mac & cheese and asparagus. The filet was a perfect medium rare. I didn’t get to try the mac & cheese, because I couldn’t stop eating the appetizer and the steak lol. Our waiter was phenomenal and it was a great experience overall.
We arrived about 2 hours before closing. We loved the vibe here. It was nicely decorated, modern, and clean. The food was nicely priced and overall above average. Not the best sirloin steak I had, but overall pretty taste. The carnitas sandwich was good overall... but the avocado they used was underripe and thus was hard to cut into. Some slight hiccups, such as forgetting our drinks. We reminded two servers about the drinks and still didn't receive it until the end of our meal.
Cocktails were delightful. Appetizer was disappointing. Spinach dip needed more of a cheese dip component. Dipped, served up and tasted like mainly Spinach in a dish. Crispy fish was nicely done, but coleslaw lacked taste & some smoothness in texture. More like grated cabbage on a plate. French fries were fast food quality.
Service could be better, never came back to check if we needed anything including refilling our drinks. When she brought our bill I asked for a to go container but didn't get it for 15 minutes when she came back to get the payment. The bill was right around $78.00 we paid with a hundred dollar bill. 15 minutes later we started looking around for her expecting the change back. I guess she thought she was entitled to the change as her tip because finally spotted her in the patio chatting with to other waitress.
I recommend the 9 oz sirloin steak. Mine was cooked exactly to order, grilled and with a mild spiciness. I also recommend the rotisserie chicken. The whiskey selection and non- alcoholic drinks are thoughtfully curated. When busy, it can get loud-especially in the enclosed porch area.
Decided to give this place a try while visiting. It was the middle of the week but it caught my eye from the road and reviews seemed ok. Considering how long the food took and the extremely relaxed service received, I’m glad it wasn’t busier. However the food was great. The Osaka Style roll as an appetizer and Crispy Fish Plate as the main dish were delicious. I substituted the Gouda Mac & cheese for Cole slaw which was heavy but delicious. Corn Maq Choux might have been a better substitution. All in all not bad. To make it better- bartending staff could balance time and attention a bit more. Waitstaff were on it and brought food out hot and polite often providing what bartend/keep did not. Decent place.
Quick seating for the time if day; but being served took longer than expected. The food that was ordered was nicely plated and was seasoned well. Referencing: -Filet mignon melts in the mouth- well cooked- medium rare, paired with a sea salted baked potato. Crispy outside and velvety loaded interior. -The Mahi Mahi Alexander well seasoned and cooked- didn't have a fishy taste at all- moist and tender. - Crème brûlée was super smooth and creamy- nicely torch crisp caramelized sugar topped with a beautiful orchid and fresh berries. Taking off points for wait time, restroom cleanliness (stall smelled of urine and over flowing trash) and plates and utensils (water spots on fork and glass, crusted food in the fork and an oily substance on the plate).
My team decided to go here for dinner, the food we ordered was very simple. I was disappointed they don’t have teas and may not have coffee as well. I ordered the mahi alexander, mahi mahi and the shrimps were dry and overcooked, not enough sauce so it didn’t help. The atmosphere was amazing and very cool.
We tried the Meatballs and French fries for appetizers. Both were good but 3 meatballs for 9 dollars. We got the country chicken salad which was ok. We got the Thai salad and it was ok. The steak had no flavor. As I said it was ok. We got the double chocolate shake and it was more like chocolate milk. Definitely not wort $10. The waitress was nice but she talked to much. She talked to one table for almost 10 minutes straight multiple times and spoke to others for 5 minutes so service at others tables was 🐌 slow. Would we go back? Yes give it a 2nd try. Would we rush back? No.
No way this place is almost 5 stars. #1 The place is nice but boring at the same time, the crowd is a bunch of cheesy upper middle class folks trying to be bougie. #2 this is some of the most bland food I've ever eaten and charging anything more than $11 Per meal is crazy. The fries are flavorless rubber sticks, Shrimp was bland and tough,(also no cocktail sauce) the burger looks like something from a microwave with fancy lettuce, club sandwich (decent but let's be real it's just a sandwich), the Filet medallions we're barely good but far from a $20 meal. #3 Waiter was super nice and did a great job.
Twelve is one of my favorite places to eat but I'm not sure I'll be back. Every single visit, there is crunchy crusty old food on the glassware. Usually ill ask for a Togo cup but today I had a bottle of water thankfully. The bottoms of all of our plates also had old crusty pieces of food which we didn't realize until we went to stack our plates. The inside of the glasses smell like mold or dirty water. Something isn't being cleaned/sanitized properly and it's been that way for awhile. Using dirty nasty water to wash the dishes is gross. The food is always great but I no longer trust your kitchen. There's no way someone hasn't noticed this. Second, the moment we walked in I was inundated with body odor. As the hostess sat us, I realized it was her and it was HEAVY. That's unsanitary again, there's no physical way no one noticed and she was still allowed to work like that. If I can smell your staff at the front door, that's a problem. It seems to me like there are a lot of missed steps going on cleanliness wise and maybe I'll give it another shot down the line but if this is what a guest can see/smell, I can't imagine what we can't see. Service was fine. Food taste fine. Just extremely poor cleanliness coming from the kitchen and that sucks that it's been ignored for this long. Also, saw a server wiping down a table with a clearly dirty rag. Gross. Silverware as well.
The tea spouts were all moldy, i got a peice of mold in my tea i just think people should know. the lines were posted on fb a while back but they said they fixed it i just though id let the people know. my service has always bee great though the waitstaff have always been so kind. i was a regular but it also seems they have gotten rid of a lot of staff recently even managers so i can see they are maybe making some change but the lack of oversight is almost debilitating
Disappointed - make sure when you order something and the waiter forgets to bring it to your table — better check your receipt! We just got scammed- never got the dessert's that he charged us for. Guess that’s how they make their money.
My party of eight had a reservation at Restaurant Twelve. We arrived together and were seated right away. That is where the service completely stopped. We sat at our table for 15 to 20 minutes without a single staff member acknowledging us. No server came over, no waters were offered, and no one even checked in. The restaurant was not busy, so there was no clear reason for being ignored like this. We asked to speak with a manager and no one ever came. After waiting and realizing no one was going to address the situation, we left. This experience was frustrating and honestly unacceptable, especially for a group that made a reservation and showed up on time. If you are considering coming here, be aware that you may be seated and then completely ignored. I would not recommend wasting your time.
Shrimp falls under a pretty large food allergy umbrella and this restaurant does not specify on the menu that shrimp is in the food. The place we were seated was dirty with old food and dust. Tried ordering a glass of wine, they were out, tried ordering the crème brûlée, they were out. Definitely NOT a good experience. May want to double check what your ticket says because the menu prices don't correspond with what they actually charge you.
I went in on a slower weekday and the manager on duty was awful to her employees. She was a mid thirties-forty’s lady with long dark hair. She insulted and degraded her employees within earshot of customers and I have a hard time dealing with that as an ex-food service worker. The food was mediocre at best, but the tamale that came with the steak was very good. My server was okay I believe her name was Kaylin she was not very attentive and said some very unprofessional things to the table beside me. I will not be coming back.
